at the Astro Chemical Research plant

four of the Super Friends cautiously guard

the incredible contents of the fortified complex.

Radar scan is negative.

[Batman] Readings indicate there's nothing

in the sky for 100 miles.

Infrared night-scope is all clear.

There's no one in the area.

We're all secured on the outside, Green Lantern.

Very good, Wonder Woman.

Everything is under control in here.

The project is a complete success, Professor Nikaido.

We've finally isolated the proton nucleus from

the sun's rays and condensed it into its liquid form.

Liquid light.

Ahh! if properly utilized, it could be the answer

to the world's energy problems.

But, if it ever falls into the wrong hands

it could be disastrous.

It's strength is so great it can disintegrate all

but the few elements on earth.

The Air Force should be here within the hour, Batman.

Right, Robin. After we escort the liquid light

to the government testing base, our job will be over.

[male narrator] But, as the Super Friends continue to guard

the Chemical Research plant, certain sinister members

of the Legion of Doom have quite a different plan

for the incredible discovery.

Those naive Superfools think that their Justice League

gadgetry, can protect them and their new secret energy source

but my radar scrambler has made us virtually invisible.

Right, Brainiac. And after we take care of those

Super-watchdogs the liquid light will be ours.

And with it, the world will be at our mercy purr-manently.

But first, we'll have to split up our super-foes

with a little diversion.

Then, we can pick them off one at a time.

[buzzing]

Holy intruders, Batman.

Someone's penetrated our defenses.

[Batman] It's the Cheetah. And she's broken through the west wall.

There is another disturbance at the east wall, Robin.

Holy multiple emergencies.

will be in control of its incredible power.

are not wearing their power devices.

members of the Legion of Doom.

We were stopped before we could complete our plans.

Your plans were to illegally break into

the Astro Chemical Research plant.

Silence! Or I'll have you in contempt to court.

[male narrator] In a heroic instance, Superman, Flash and Black Vulcan

speed off toward the Astro Chemical Research plant.

fool scientists are out of the way

we can use this liquid light to take over the world.

of the deadly rigor of liquid light that rapidly approaches.

We've got to stop it before it reaches that town.

It's about to engulf those kids.

incredible speed, the deadly liquid light is sucked

skyway, where it scatters in the upper atmosphere.

And returns to the earth in the form of harmless falling stars.

[male narrator] Meanwhile, deep within a dense jungle...

Brainiac must've figured out a way to

electronically control my magic lasso.

I'll have to figure out another way out of here.

[Android Wonder Woman] You're going nowhere, Wonder Woman.

That is, nowhere on this earth.

For, soon, you'll be food for a thousand hungry mouths.

[Wonder Woman] My only chance is to try and overpower that

android mental control of my lasso.

[dramatic music]

they'll release the entire supply of liquid light.

It looks like the Legion of Doom has slipped away again.
