[male narrator] Traveling through the vast sea of outer space

three strange ships sail on a direct course

toward a small planet

third from its sun.

[instrumental music]

[male 1] We're approaching the site

of the buried treasure, Captain Sinbad.

Very well. Have the men trim the solar sails.

We'll be dropping space anchors on Earth in a few minutes.

Aye, captain.

Soon, we'll be digging up the treasures

that were buried on Earth thousands of years ago

by other Space Pirates.

[squawks]

[pirates grunting]

[male narrator] Later, in the jungle of South America...

Prepare the landing craft.

I'm going down to the treasure site.

The treasure's just below us.

Ready the anti-gravity winches.

Those ships are stealing the pyramid's treasure.

We've got to do something to stop them!

[Sinbad] We've got our first treasure.

[male narrator] Meanwhile, at the Hall of Justice...

I think he's trying to clone a banana.

[gibbering]

[Zan laughs] Looks like Gleek's invented the pre-sliced banana.

[beeping]

It's the Justice League TroubAlert.

We're getting a distress signal

from South America, Superman.

It's coming in on the monitor now.

Super Friends, this is Colonel Ortigez

of the Peruvian Army.

A group of space pirates

are robbing the treasures

of our ancient pyramids.

They have taken captives

and are headed north for Mexico.

Thanks for the information, colonel.

We'll handle it from here.

Zan, Jayna, stay by the monitor

and inform the other Super Friends

when they check in.

Sure thing, Wonder Woman.

Swoosh

[male narrator] Later, over Mexico city...

Captain Sinbad, sir.

Treasure site off the starboard bow.

Very good, soon, we'll have enough treasure

to buy a dozen more pirate ships.

And we can plunder the Galaxy.

Have your men retrieve the treasure.

[dramatic music]

Mira, the city is floating.

Haul away.

[police siren blaring]

We've got to do something to stop them.

[laughs] Two more recruits for Sinbad's crew.

Those space pirates are tearing up the city

to get at their treasure.

I'll handle them, Superman.

You take care of the ships.

Sinbad, intruders to the port side.

Shall I ready the cannons, captain?

No, these are no ordinary intruders.

Activate the force field.

I've got to get through that force field.

He's giving the ship a bad pounding, sir.

Don't worry, he'll never get through.

The treasure's been secured.

Let's get back to the ship.

[Wonder Woman] You're going nowhere.

Now to help Superman penetrate that force field.

We can't take too much more, captain.

Their laser cannons must be radar controlled

to have homed in on the Invisible Jet.

[male narrator] Later, aboard the aircraft carrier Falcon...

We'll need your help, Admiral Brighton

to plan a strategy of attack.

I'd say these space pirates

have an excellent knowledge of seamanship.

And their flying battleships will pose

a difficult navigational problem.

I've picked up the three pirate ships, admiral.

They've split up. One's headed for Easter Island.

The other two are making courses

for Stonehenge and the Bermuda Triangle.

That means we can't concentrate our forces.

We'll have to split up too.

[Brighton] Your best strategy

is to defend their primary targets.

Right, we can't penetrate their ships

but we can try to stop them from taking the treasure.

Robin and I will head for Easter Island.

The Bermuda Triangle is my territory.

That leaves Stonehenge for Superman and me.

Let's go.

[male narrator] Instantly, the Super Friends streak off

in a desperate attempt to stop the space marauders.

[male narrator] Later, at the mysterious Easter Island...

[mysterious music]

[laughs] These giant tikis

have been on earth for thousands of years

and no one's ever realized that inside each one

is 50 tons of solid gold.

Holy goldbricks, Batman.

If he's right, there must be trillion of dollars

worth of gold there.

Right, Robin, and we've got to stop them

before they dig up the whole island.

Hang on, we're going down.

We're under attack!

Back to the ship.

They're getting away, Robin.

Fire the Bat-torpedoes.

[Robin] Right, Batman.

[male 3] We've been hit.

Nice work, Robin. Any second now, the torpedo will activate.

It's got us pinned to the ground.

I'll fix those meddling earthlings.

They hit us with their anti-gravity ray, Batman.

It's no use, Robin.

I can't control the Batjet.

[intense music]

[Robin] Holy wild rockets!

We're picking up incredible speed.

We've got to slow down.

We're burning up.

[instrumental music]

The friction of the atmosphere is burning us up, Batman.

What do we do?

Our only chance is to go faster, Robin.

Faster? But we'll burn up for sure.

Maybe not.

If we can speed up fast enough

to pull ahead of the anti-gravity field

we may be able to slow down before the Batjet melts.

I wasn't sure we'd make it.

We saved ourselves, Robin, but not the treasure.

[male narrator] Meanwhile, somewhere in the Bermuda Triangle...

The treasure scanner indicates a thousand tons

of silver directly below.

It's a good thing it was highly magnetized

or we'd never have found it.

Batten down the hatches.

Prepare to dive.

Great Atlantis!

They're uncovering tons of silver.

I've only got one chance to stop them.

[male narrator] Using his aquatic telepathy...

...Aquaman summons two giant octopuses

to help him stop the plundering pirates.

Those two octopi are blocking the treasure.

Fire the hypnotic cannons.

Great Neptune! Those cannon rays are controlling the octopi.

They're after me!

I-I've got to overcome those hypnotic cannon rays

with my aquatic telepathy.

[growling]

[grunts] That mental struggle drained my strength.

And those pirates are getting away with the treasure.

[male narrator] Thousands of miles away

at the incredible site of Stonehenge...

Treasure below, Captain Sinbad, sir.

Galax, the space pirate buried

millions of stolen meteoric diamonds down there

and those giant stone slabs

he left have marked the spot for ages.

Send down the landing party.

[dramatic music]

My telescopic vision should pick up

those pirates any second, Wonder Woman.

There they are!

And they've already started their looting of Stonehenge.

We can slow them down by stealing back

their stolen treasure.

That flying Earthling has stolen our treasure!

The treasure, Earthling!

There'll be trouble if you don't give it up.

So, he thinks he can play games with Captain Sinbad, does he?

directly toward London.

[male narrator] Later, aboard Sinbad's flagship...

Aye, we've got plenty more treasure to dig up

before we're through.

The riches of Earth will soon be ours.

[Zan] Jupiters, the satellite monitors

picked up Wonder Woman.

[Jayna] And it looks like she's a prisoner

in Sinbad's ship.

We better notify the other Super Friends.

Oh, come on, super sis.

We can handle this one ourselves!

[gibbering]

- I don't know, Zan. - Sure we can!

We've got to start sometime

if we're ever gonna become full-fledged Super Friends.

Okay, wonder brother

but I sure hope you know what you're doing.

[Wonder Twins] Wonder Twin powers activate!

[gibbering]

[male narrator] Later, as Sinbad's ships

head toward their next treasure site...

Sinbad's ships are dead ahead, Zan.

They'll never spot us in this disguise.

Take us down.

The coast is clear. Let's go!

[Jayna] She must be down here somewhere!

Wonder Woman, we found you!

Zan, Jayna, come in.

Oh, boy, are we glad we've found you.

We've got to get out of here!

You're going nowhere!

- Huh? - We've been tricked.

- By Wonder Woman! - That's right!

She's one of us, now.

Take them to the electronic slave galley.

[dramatic music]

Jupiters, there's no way to pull our hands free

of this electronic oar.

[male narrator] Later, at the Hall of Justice...

The Super Friends regroup

to form a counter strategy of their own.

Superman, we've been waiting for you.

The Wonder Twins, they're gone.

So is Wonder Woman. She's been captured by Sinbad.

Holy predicaments!

And all we can do is wait till they show up again.

Maybe not, Robin. Look!

Attention, Super Friends

I'll give you only one warning.

Do not attempt to stop us in our treasure-taking.

If you do, you may never see the Wonder Twins again.

They've got Wonder Woman under some kind of mind control.

- She's not herself. - That's right

And that's just how we'll stop Sinbad.

- I don't get it, Superman. - It's simple, Robin.

I'll disguise myself as Clark Kent

and attempt to stop Sinbad's men at their next treasure site.

I'll use the Justice League laser scrambler

to protect me from their cannons.

When they shoot me with their hypnotic rays

I'll be able to enter their ship

and rescue Wonder Woman and the twins.

[Batman] We can contact the naval tracking station on the way

and find out Sinbad's next location.

[Superman] Let's go!

[male narrator] Later, over San Francisco

Sinbad homes in on his next target of plunder.

[Sinbad] Those stupid Earthlings have built a bridge

over our last treasure site.

A small problem, Sinbad.

Just pull it up!

Activate anti-gravity winches!

Another craft is approaching. Alert the captain.

I'll teach the fool not to intrude.

There's no one on guard. I've got to act fast.

Soon we will have looted the Earth

of its last buried treasure.

Then we'll head for the next planet

and continue our plundering.

Your pirating days are over!

No one threatens Sinbad.

I'll take care of the intruder.

I've got to wake Wonder Woman out of her spell.

Anyone tied by the Magic Lasso

is compelled to tell the truth.

Tell me, Wonder Woman, am I your friend or your enemy?

Stop them!

You won't stop Captain Sinbad so easily.

I wouldn't be so sure about that, Sinbad.

All hands, get us out of here.

Okay, Robin, that's our cue.

[Robin] Bat-anchors away!

Our intergalactic police force

has been trying to capture Sinbad for a long time.

We'll take care of him and return the treasures

to their rightful owners.

It's good to know there are others in the universe

who are working for justice.

Yeah, I hope I never have to see that Sinbad character again.
