try to rescue some misguided teenagers

who face trouble when they decide to be runaways.

Then the Super Friends exhibit all their bravery

against the super sinister scheme of Professor Fearo

and the threat of a world collision.

Then, a scientist finds trouble when a time machine

puts him 2000 years into the future.

Superman, Hawkman and Hawkgirl to the rescue.

for my latest invention.

A lifetime of work went into it.

who would betray his home planet.

to wrench a dead planet out of its orbit

Frozen Siberia has turned into a steaming jungle.

The weather's gone wild.

Someone's calling on the phone-o-vision.

[beeping]

Super Friends, the Earth is threatened with extinction.

An unknown planet headed straight for Earth

will crash into us in less than 24 hours.

What's causing it?

Our computers indicate a mysterious pull

from somewhere on Earth.

The planet must be stopped.

Yes, and that's clearly a job for me.

An easy one at that.

Up, up and away!

[male narrator] As Superman flies through space

toward the rapidly approaching planet...

...the evil Fearo watches on his monitor.

We've failed Cleazor, Superman is interfering.

Relax, earthling.

I've prepared a little surprise for him.

Our runaway planet is composed of solid kryptonite.

The only element that weakens your Superman.

Kryptonite! A whole planet of it.

[Superman groaning]

[Batman] if that kryptonite planet hits Superman in his condition

it could be the end.

There's still time. I'm going up there.

He'll crash in seconds. I've got to act fast.

He's been rescued, but as the planet gets closer

he'll get weaker. Now, nothing can stop the collision.

Yes, and my planet will take Earth's place.

Orbiting around your sun.

[Cleazor] Today, my solar-powered weapons cannot function

on the power from our small blue sun.

But tomorrow, with your mature yellow sun

my armada will be powerful enough

to conquer the entire galaxy.

And I'll be your Minister of Science.

Provided you escape Earth in time on the rocket

I designed for you.

It's all ready, Cleazor.

If we only knew what was attracting that planet.

I have a strong hunch it's man-made.

If it is, we can seek it out and destroy it.

But who on Earth is capable of such an evil threat?

The Justice League computer should be able to answer that.

[computer] Only three scientists possess

such advanced technological skill.

Professor Lavey and Dr. Rogers of Metropolis University.

And Professor Fearo.

According to this character analysis

the only one of the three who could commit such an evil act

is Professor Fearo.

We'll split up.

Batman, Robin, and I will see if Lavey and Rogers

know anything more about Fearo.

Aquaman and I will search for whatever Fearo is using

to attract that planet.

Yeah, we're not called the Wonder Twins for nothing.

You three stay here and monitor incoming information.

streak towards Metropolis University.

Yes, I remember Professor Fearo very well.

He was expelled from the Academy of Science

for unethical experiments.

The last I heard, Fearo had a secret laboratory

somewhere in South America.

High on the Andes Mountains.

We'll all go in the Batplane. Your bat devices may be needed.

[male narrator] The green planet hurtles closer as Superman

searches desperately for the energy source.

Growing weaker every second.

While deep beneath the crushing depths of the ocean

Aquaman searches the turbulent seas.

And high above the Andes, Batman, Robin, and Wonder Woman

search for Fearo's laboratory.

We found it.

Professor Fearo's laboratory is right below us.

I'll switch the Batcontrols to hover.

Batman and I will go down on the Batcables and check it out.

[Batman] Be careful. There's no telling what's down there.

Keep searching, Wonder Woman.

We've got to find the clue to Fearo's plans.

Batman! Behind you!

Don't move or it will strike.

I'll control my magic lasso telepathically.

[sonic humming]

Ah, thanks, Wonder Woman.

A notepad almost destroyed by the spilled acid.

It looks like the plans for some kind of complex device.

But barely readable.

This could be what we're looking for. if only...

[rumbling]

[Robin] Quick, Robin! Hoist us up!

Jumping jeopardy! That was a close one.

Wonder Woman calling Super Friends and Wonder Twins.

This is Zan. I read you loud and clear, Wonder Woman.

We found Professor Fearo's notes

and are headed back to the Hall of Justice.

[Jayna] What are our next orders?

[Wonder Woman] Prepare the Justice League computer to decipher the notes.

Meddling fools!

Cleazor, Wonder Woman has discovered my notes

for operating my floating island.

If they decipher them, we're lost.

I'll teleport you an energy creature

who will stop the earthlings.

[sonic humming]

He can materialize and dematerialize any way you wish.

[Professor Fearo] Ah, not even the Super Friends can match this.

[male narrator] Meanwhile, in the Hall of Justice...

After the Super Friends have returned

from their worldwide search

Wonder Woman feeds Fearo's notes

into the Justice League computer.

It's some kind of floating island.

The perfect thing to keep Fearo's magnetic power source

aligned with the green planet.

[Wonder Woman] That weird magneto must be the power source

we've been searching for.

These symbols must be the various locations

of the island at each hour.

Once the computer deciphers them

we can get there and stop the energy.

[male narrator] But little do the Super Friends suspect

what lurks behind this door to their computer room.

[Fearo] Eliminate the computers!

Jupiters! The computer's dead!

You kids wait here.

Something's wrong in the computer room.

Great Hera! We've been sabotaged.

But how? Nobody's here.

Something welded the door shut.

Whatever it is, it's out there with the Wonder Twins.

[sonic humming]

[male narrator] What evil fate awaits the Wonder Twins

as the awesome energy creature closes in?

The next decoder clue will be right up.

The first one had to do with you boys.

[male narrator] Wonder Woman deflects the flaming projectile.

But can she withstand his relentless attack?

[Professor Fearo] Quick, throw it in!

There's one chance left.

And at this moment are speeding toward the Indian Ocean

nearby in the Batplane.

The Earth will collide in only two hours.

This is Justice League Mission Control, standing by.

Wonder Woman to Super Friends.

We'll split up and search for Fearo's island.

the Super Friends search Fearo's island

for the Wonder Twins.

The Wonder Twins have got to be here somewhere.

If they were in Fearo's power

we have to get into the lab without him knowing.

- But how? - We have friends to help us.

to pierce into Fearo's island laboratory.

Now we have an underwater entrance.

[Wonder Woman] Another energy creature.

One of those isn't gonna stop us.

I think we're out of the frying pan and into the fire.

Take one step toward me and they get it.

Holy dilemma, Batman! What do we do?

There's nothing we can do.

And there's nothing you can do

to stop the world from colliding.

To go into the future ourselves and bring him back.

We've got to get to Comstock before those slavers do.
