EPISODE 26

Do you know who I just saw?

-Who? -Who?

Yan Nantian!

He is coming for us!

-What should we do? -Are you sure you saw him?

He looked the same as when he first came to Wicked Canyon 18 years ago.

How would I be mistaken?

-Let's go! -Let's go.

-Let's go. -Let's go!

Hurry!

Just mentioning the name is enough to make them panic.

He is indeed a great hero.

Too bad I will never be able to be like Yan Nantian.

Yan Nantian.

Divine Swordsman Yan.

Mr. Yan.

Mr. Medicine Pot.

Wan Chunliu told me

that you're the closest person to me in this world.

I should call you uncle.

I really wish to know

what panacea did Mr. Wan used

to save your life.

Mr. Yan.

Time to take the medicine.

Here.

Here.

Here.

Last one.

Drink it up.

Good.

Mr. Yan.

Mr. Yan.

Greetings, leaders.

Did you get any news?

The two brothers have been found.

-Leave. -Yes.

It has been 18 years.

The two brothers disappeared after they took the treasure.

Our prayers have been answered.

We've finally found them.

Tell me.

How should we pay them back

for the 18 years of betrayal

and the loss of the treasure?

Wicked people will be bedeviled by its ilk.

Take them back to Wicked Canyon.

I'll roast and eat them!

Don't you worry that the two fatties will choke you to death?

Dazui.

You're taking it too easily.

The two of them, one enjoys taking advantage of people,

while the other will never suffer losses.

It's impossible that they will meekly surrender

and come over here by themselves.

Dazui.

It seems that you'll have to leave the canyon to get them.

Wicked Canyon is so comfortable.

I won't leave no matter what.

Li Dazui.

Are you scared?

If you're not scared, you should go.

I wonder

if the people in the martial arts world still remember us.

All those heroes

must be missing us so much.

We can take this chance

to meet up with our old friends.

Just go if you want to.

I won't give a chance for those hypocrites to stand out.

Mr. Du, what do you think?

We are the Ten Great Villains,

not the Ten Useless Villains!

We must punish the two traitors ourselves

and take back the treasure that belongs to us.

But before we leave,

we have to kill someone first.

Mr. Yan.

Mr. Yan.

Mr. Yan.

Mr. Wan!

Open the door, Mr. Wan!

Why did you lock the door during the day?

Coming.

Coming.

-How can I help you? -Mr. Wan, I...

I feel weak lately.

Please check my pulse.

You...

What are you doing?

Mr. Wan.

We are leaving Wicked Canyon.

How about you?

Do you want to join us to have fun out there?

Stop talking nonsense with him.

Go and look for Yan Nantian.

Li Dazui.

Li Dazui, that is where I make medicine.

You can't go there.

He has been immersing himself in medicine for so many years.

It will be a nourishing meal for me.

-Yan Nantian. -He...

Yan Nantian was resurrected?

How can I die before I wipe out Wicked Canyon!

Don't be scared.

He has been immersed in medicine for the last 18 years.

He is nothing but a disabled person.

Mr. Yan.

It's a shame

that I won't be able to see you again in this life.

Let me go.

Murong Jiu, have you gone mad?

Xiaoyu'er put you in this predicament, yet you see him as your sweetheart?

I treated you as my best friend, yet you deceived me for him?

It's not her fault.

-It was my idea. -I knew it.

She won't do this kind of thing.

You put her up to this.

Wait!

Murong Jiu.

Stop covering for him. We are your family!

I believe all of you are my family.

I know you've done nothing but treat me well.

Actually, I remember some of my memories when I see you.

I vaguely remember

I have many other family members other than you guys.

Everyone treats me very well.

But they are my best friends.

Please don't hurt them.

Who are you talking about?

Xiaodai

who is also known as Xiaoyu'er.

And this man, Hei Zhizhu.

Sometimes, I remember

I was scared by Xiaoyu'er who pretended to be a ghost.

But he treated me really well.

It's all water under the bridge now.

I don't hold a grudge.

I don't want to hold a grudge either.

I can only remember a few things.

I wish to remember more happy memories.

But we are all worried about you.

We won't allow you to wander around the martial arts world alone.

I'll follow you home, but please give Xiaoyu'er the antidote.

Murong Jiu!

Zhang Jing.

Give her the antidote.

INTESTINAL ULCERATION POISON ANTIDOTE

Save him.

Xiaoyu'er!

Xiaoyu'er!

Xiaoyu'er!

Xiaoyu'er!

Xiaoyu'er!

Xiaoyu'er!

Xiaoyu'er!

Xiaoyu'er!

Xiaoyu'er!

Xiaoyu'er!

FULAI INN

Xiaoyu'er.

Xiaoyu'er, wake up!

Xiaoyu'er.

Xiaoyu'er, you're finally awake.

The one who can kill me hasn't even been born yet.

You got lucky.

How did you get the antidote?

It was Murong Jiu.

In order to get the antidote,

she agreed to go home with the Murong family.

Do you still want to see her?

DUAN MANOR

Father, I'm back.

-Father. -Yulang, you're back.

Father, I've hidden the stolen silver.

The people who came with me were all killed as well.

Nothing will go wrong now.

No one saw you, right?

I was very careful this time.

Don't worry, Father.

By the way,

I discovered something interesting.

I passed by Qingyu Hall on my way back today.

QINGYU HALL

HEART NOURISHING MEDICINE

I saw one of Hua Wuque's maids there, so I went inside to ask about her.

An employee of Qingyu Hall told me

the maid has been buying medicine from them every day.

The prescriptions always change,

but it's obvious those are used to heal internal injuries.

And the prescriptions were prescribed by Hua Wuque himself.

Could it be that Hua Wuque has sustained severe injuries?

Hua Wuque was indeed badly injured,

but he recovered soon after with Yihua Divine Skill.

Who is in need of the medicine then?

Could it be him?

Ms. Tie.

The mastermind might be Jiang Biehe.

Mr. Jiang?

Jiang Xiaoyu found a sanqing bell in Jiang Biehe's room.

It sounded just like the one we heard at Tianjing Temple.

Really?

However, a sanqing bell is not uncommon.

Can we be certain he is the mastermind just because of that?

I sent someone to investigate Jiang Biehe's background.

Confusingly,

no one had ever heard of Jiang Biehe 18 years ago.

I couldn't find anything about his master or past deeds.

Since you suspected him, why did you protect him?

If he is really the mastermind,

it would not do to let the Murong family take him away.

I want to reveal the hypocrite's true colors

in front of all the heroes in the martial arts world.

I will also clear up the situation of your father.

Is Mr. Hua in?

Please wait, Mr. Jiang. Mr. Hua is unavailable right now.

I don't think we can hide this from him any longer.

Why don't we let him in and see what his reaction is?

Don't worry.

Please let Mr. Jiang in.

Mr. Hua.

You saved me from a lot of trouble previously.

I haven't come to thank you personally yet.

I was feeling rather guilty.

Please forgive me.

It's nothing to be bothered about.

This is Ms. Tie's father.

We visited you late at night back then to look for him.

We've finally found him.

Mr. Jiang.

He is Tie Zhan, the Mad Lion.

He constantly sought duels and made many enemies.

We worry that this might cause chaos,

so we are recuperating him here in secret.

How is he?

He has serious internal injuries.

He is still in a coma and has never woken up to date.

"Internal injuries"? Why?

Ms. Tie and I went to Shuangshi to look for clues leading to the killer.

We went to Tianjing Temple based on a red leaf we found.

That was when we learned that Tie Zhan was the killer.

-He is the killer? -Yes.

However, Tie Zhan had lost his mind.

He was under the control of someone else.

The one who controlled him is the real culprit.

Have you found out who the culprit is?

Tie Zhan was being controlled by someone with a sanqing bell.

Each of his 18 important acupoints was embedded with poisonous needles.

Based on your knowledge,

who would most likely be the culprit?

In my opinion,

it's a good chance that it's the Ten Great Villains.

They are skilled at befogging people's minds.

Not to mention Tie Zhan is one of them.

Especially Jiang Xiaoyu. He is the most suspicious one.

He went missing after being rescued by the Ten Great Villains.

All these incidents must be related to him.

Ms. Tie,

no matter who is behind all this,

I will find him

and ensure justice is served.

Don't worry, Ms. Tie.

I have a responsibility in this as well.

I will find the culprit no matter what.

I'll take my leave now.

Goodbye.

Father.

Father, how was it?

Tie Zhan is indeed still alive.

Then, has Hua Wuque already...

I think he still doesn't know a thing.

If he knew,

he wouldn't let me see Tie Zhan.

What if Tie Zhan wakes up?

He won't wake up.

I'll make sure of that.

Jiang Biehe, this cunning man is truly evil.

He lied in front of my father and didn't feel bad at all.

He seemed to be so kind.

Jiang Biehe is not a simple old man.

We must be careful.

A slight mistake might be all he needs to turn against us.

Do you mean he might bite back at us?

The Mad Lion, Tie Zhan is one of the Ten Great Villains.

Yihua Palace is loathed by all the noble clans.

If we don't possess irrefutable evidence,

we can't defeat Jiang Biehe.

I just hope my father can wake up soon.

He surely knows what Jiang Biehe has done in the dark.

I really didn't expect Hua Wuque who has just entered the martial arts world

would become someone I need to watch out for.

Jiang Biehe has much more fighting experience.

He is an opponent I must never underestimate.

The most important thing right now

is to make sure Tie Zhan never wakes up.

If Tie Zhan regains consciousness,

would it still be safe to keep him in Duan Manor?

Young Master.

Mr. Hua.

Mr. Hua.

-Mr. Jiang. -Ms. Tie.

This is a precious Hedyotis Herb and Poria Cocos Jelly of my father.

He told me to bring it here for Mr. Tie.

Thank you.

I hope Mr. Tie recovers soon.

If there's anything I can help with, please let me know.

I'll take my leave now.

Physician, this way, please.

This way, Physician.

-All right. -Hurry.

Father.

Father.

Don't leave me behind.

Father!

Ms. Tie.

-The dead can't be brought back to life. -Father.

Let's prepare for funeral affairs.

Father.

Father.

I've been looking for you for ten years.

I finally found you.

DECEASED FATHER, TIE ZHAN

Why did you leave just like this?

Father.

Ms. Tie.

My condolences.

Father.

ZHUANGYUAN RESTAURANT AUTHENTIC SICHUAN CUISINE

Have you heard?

Yan Nantian is back in the martial arts world.

Of course I've heard it.

He wasn't killed by the Ten Great Villains in Wicked Canyon.

That's truly exciting.

I let off some firecrackers yesterday and had a great drink.

One should be like Yan Nantian.

He is righteous and forthright.

-A role model for our generation. -That's right.

-Here. Drink up. -Thank you.

What's the matter with you? Eat up.

I used to think I was a great man,

but compared to him, I'm nothing.

Yan Nantian is the first hero of the world.

Who is even comparable to him?

If a person can be like Yan Nantian,

his life wouldn't be a waste at all.

Stop wallowing in self-pity.

You're not that bad either.

What was it you said?

"The most notable, the one in a million,

the best of the best, the most perfect person,

and the world's smartest person, Xiaoyu'er."

The world's smartest person?

I was just blowing my own trumpet.

Not only did I fail to defeat Jiang Biehe,

I almost died in his hands.

Come on, drink up.

Get drunk and forget it all.

Here.

-Look. Isn't that Mr. Hua of Yihua Palace? -Isn't that Mr. Hua?

-Right. -Greetings, Mr. Hua.

Greetings, Mr. Hua.

Mr. Hua, you defeated the Murong family without fighting.

We all saw that. You are incredible.

-That's right. -You've defeated the Murong family.

A beautiful couple with a beautiful marriage.

-Is this your wife-to-be? -Greetings, Mr. Hua!

-Greetings, Mr. Hua. -Greetings, Mr. Hua!

-Such an ideal couple. -Mr. Hua.

What a perfect match.

A pair of ideal lovers.

-A pair of ideal lovers. -What a match.

-What a match. -Right.

-What a match. -That's right.

What's the matter?

Everyone gathers around Hua Wuque everywhere he goes.

But I, Xiaoyu'er,

have to hide like a rat.

How can I live my life in disgrace?

I'll just lose my life at worst.

I want to have a duel with him!

Xiaoyu'er, have you lost your mind?

-You can't defeat him! -Don't stop me!

ZHUANGYUAN RESTAURANT

Stop right there!

-Who is this? -What is he doing?

-Why would he know Mr. Hua? -What's wrong with him?

-Right. -That's right.

Do you think I'm here to throw my life away?

That's right.

Hua Wuque.

Since you've been wanting to kill me,

why didn't you come and find me instead of expecting me to come to you?

It is not my intention to kill you.

So, I'm not in a hurry to find you.

But you've seen me now.

If you don't do something,

it'll be hard for you to answer to your aunts, right?

Looks like we have to have a duel today.

Mr. Hua.

Enough, Tie Xinlan!

Don't interfere.

-You-- -Hua Wuque.

I heard that Ms. Tie is your future wife.

So why can't she stay out of my business now?

You...

All right, Jiang Xiaoyu.

From today onward, I'll stay out of your business.

Jiang Xiaoyu, do you really don't need anyone's help?

I wouldn't be here if I needed help.

Hua Wuque.

Since we need to have a duel to the death sooner or later,

we might as well just do it now.

I apologize.

I'm not in the mood to kill you now.

Not in the mood to kill me?

Are you afraid?

Why are you acting dumb?

All right.

Let's meet at Chengnan Cemetery at midnight tonight.

All right.

It's a deal.

I'll see you there.

-What is he doing? -This man has a death wish.

-What is he thinking? -Right.

-He bites off more than he can chew. -Seriously.

It turns out Yu Dan's real name is Jiang Xiaoyu

and he is with the Ten Great Villains!

If it wasn't for Mr. Jiang who saw through his plan,

he would have swindled me out of my fortune and my beloved daughter!

You have my thanks, Mr. Jiang.

I was just doing my part.

Otherwise, I wouldn't deserve the title others have given me.

I've stayed here for too long.

-I must leave today. -That won't do.

If it wasn't for you, I would have died in the pigsty.

You're my savior.

Don't be in such a rush to leave.

I need to repay you for all that you've done for me.

I heard your birthday is coming in a few days.

I want to invite all the heroes in the martial arts world

and hold a grand celebration for you.

-There's no need for that. -My dear savior.

You must listen to me.

The birthday ceremony is a trivial matter, but your reputation is not.

I want everyone to know

that Mr. Jiang is innocent

and that you were framed by Jiang Xiaoyu.

DUAN MANOR

What happened yesterday?

After the burial, they stayed by the grave the whole night.

Father, you can rest easy now.

The dead tell no tales.

I can finally celebrate my birthday with peace of mind.

I was just about to congratulate you.

Duan Hefei has already sent invitations to all the martial arts heroes.

By then, all the martial arts clans will be here to congratulate you.

Even Yan Nantian wasn't celebrated

as much as you compared to this.

Hua Wuque, you picked a nice spot.

You know you're going to die, so you've picked your own graveyard.

DECEASED FATHER, TIE ZHAN

I'm not going to die tonight.

Are you that confident that you're going to kill me?

You're not going to die as well.

What does that mean?

You're going to die sooner or later,

but today is not the day.

That's because I have something more important to do.

Before that, none of us should die.

Why don't we pick a place after three months

to have a duel?

So there's something more important for you to do than killing me.

That's right.

Look.

"Tie Zhan"?

Could this be Tie Xinlan's father,

the Mad Lion, Tie Zhan?

If I tell you it was Jiang Biehe who killed him,

will you be willing to seek revenge for Ms. Tie?

What's going on?

TIANJING TEMPLE

I finally understand.

That's why I couldn't get anything

to use against Jiang Biehe for such a long time.

So he was using a puppet to do his dirty work.

I was kept in the dark the whole time too.

I misunderstood your intentions all this while.

I apologize.

I'm a bigger person.

Don't worry, I won't hold it against you.

You can't be blamed for that either.

It's all because Jiang Biehe is so cunning.

Tell me, how can I help you?

We'll work together to reveal the true colors of Jiang Biehe.

As for the time and plan, I have it all figured out.

I was wondering why you pretended not to know me.

Hua Wuque, looks like I've underestimated you.

Does this mean that you agree?

I have no reason to not join you.

All right. Let's work together to expose Jiang Biehe's deceit.

Then, we'll have a duel to the death in three months.

All right.

No one is to lay a hand on the other before the three months are up.

Of course.

Since we're not enemies within these three months,

we might as well be friends for three months.

"Friends"?

LONGEVITY

Not bad.

DUAN MANOR

Work harder and faster.

Thank you, Mr. Duan.

Thank you for holding this birthday banquet for my father.

I'm sorry for the trouble.

Why would you say that?

It's Mr. Jiang who is willing to let me host the birthday banquet.

This is such an honor for me.

Father.

How is everything going out there?

The guests have arrived.

Many martial artists heard it's your birthday.

Some even came uninvited to butter you up.

Father, you look so dashing in this.

Yan Nantian and Tie Wushuang cannot even be compared to you.

You're the first hero of the martial arts world.

Welcome!

Nice to meet you.

-This way, please. -Congratulations.

-Congratulations. -Thank you!

DUAN MANOR

Welcome!

-Feng Tianyu, the Dragon Sword -Welcome.

-and Qiu Qingbo, -Thank you.

-the Zhedong Qiu Clan Master have arrived. -Welcome.

-Please come in. -Greetings.

-Xiao Yun, the Mountain Splitter -Greetings.

-and Liu Yuru, -Nice to meet you.

the Xuehua Clan Master

-have arrived. -Mr. Jiang.

-Thank you for coming. -Mr. Jiang.

-I must have a drink with you later. -Thank you. Please come in.

-All right. -Nice to meet you.

Please help yourselves with the drinks.

Father.

Yulang, is everyone here?

Almost.

But I think Master Shen Xi isn't here yet.

He sent someone to say that he will be attending.

Mr. Jiang, almost all the guests are here.

Let's go and take a seat.

All right.

Honorable martial arts heroes,

welcome to Duan Manor.

Your presence is an honor to me.

I think everyone is aware of this.

For all these years,

Mr. Jiang has been looking after my family.

I've benefited a great deal.

I would like to wish Mr. Jiang

a happy birthday and live long!

Well said!

-We wish Mr. Jiang -We wish Mr. Jiang

-a happy birthday -a happy birthday

-and live long! -and live long!

Thank you, everyone.

I want to thank Mr. Duan and all of you for your great kindness.

I am extremely honored.

A toast to you all.

-Cheers! -Cheers!

Mr. Jiang.

Today is your birthday.

Why did you sigh?

Actually, there's something that has been troubling me.

What is it?

I have heard

that the five most notorious villains of the Ten Great Villains

who caused great harm to the martial arts world

have left Wicked Canyon.

Furthermore, Jiang Xiaoyu, who has been doing evil lately,

is colluding with them.

I'm afraid the martial arts world will be in great turmoil again.

-So he is one of them. -I see.

-He is with the Ten Great Villains. -He is not a good person.

Mr. Jiang, you're right.

Nothing good is going to happen when the Ten Great Villains show up.

There's surely going to be a reign of terror.

I'm afraid many men are going to suffer and die at their hands.

-That's right. -That's right.

-That's right. -That's right.

What can we do?

Esteemed guests.

All of you are from orthodox clans.

All of you should have a spirit of fearlessness and righteousness.

This is a critical moment.

We must work together to uphold righteousness,

take down these bandits hand in hand and eradicate evil completely.

That's right.

We of the orthodox clans must punish and weed out evil

to keep the peace of the martial arts world.

Everyone, we can't go on without having a leader.

As Mr. Tie Wushuang has passed away.

Let's elect Mr. Jiang as the chief of our alliance

and have him lead all the clans to fight against the Ten Great Villains!

That's right.

Let's have Mr. Jiang be the chief of the Martial Arts Alliance.

-Right! -Right!

-Please lead the martial arts world! -Please lead the martial arts world!

-Please lead the martial arts world! -Please lead the martial arts world!

Have him lead the martial arts world?

Do you know what kind of man he is?

TIE ZHAN'S MEMORIAL TABLET

-Why is he... -Why is he here?

Why would he be here?

-What does this mean? -What is he doing?

Such an evil man.

How bold he is.

Why are you here?

Jiang Biehe, why didn't you invite

the smartest person in the world, Xiaoyu'er, to your birthday banquet?

Jiang Xiaoyu!

You have quite the nerve!

You disguised as a worker and infiltrated my home.

You stole my daughter's heart

and framed Mr. Jiang for crimes he did not commit.

I didn't know you are related to the Ten Great Villains.

You are indeed the world's greatest villain!

I'm planning to have you arrested and tear you to pieces!

You even dare to show up here yourself.

Guards!

-Yes! -Yes!

Mr. Duan, calm down.

Jiang Xiaoyu.

I advise you

to no longer associate yourself with the Ten Great Villains

and stop causing trouble in the martial arts world.

Otherwise, those warriors who uphold justice will not spare you.

Since you're still young, quickly turn over a new leaf

and repent.

Well said.

You are indeed Mr. Jiang, a real gentleman.

Jiang Xiaoyu, today is my father's birthday.

Why did you bring such an ominous item here?

You called Mr. Tie Zhan's memorial tablet an ominous object?

Aren't you afraid that his unjust spirit will return to seek you out at night?

Enough of your trickery and lies!

If you're not feeling guilty, why would you be afraid of what I said?

Jiang Xiaoyu.

All the martial arts masters and clans are here.

All of them want to get rid of you, the world's greatest villain,

yet you still dare to show up here.

I came because today is a good day.

There is a conspiracy

-that I want to reveal to all of you. -What conspiracy?

"A conspiracy"?

-What? -What conspiracy?

-Let's hear him out. -Right.

The case of the stolen silver has caused an uproar.

I believe you all know of it.

But have you thought about who the real mastermind behind it is?

Who could it be?

It was Tie Wushuang.

Wasn't he the one?

Looks like someone has pulled the wool over everyone's eyes.

Mr. Jiang's martial arts skills are second best,

but his scheming is the best in the world.

He colluded with the father and son of Shuangshi Armed Escort

to escort and rob the silver simultaneously.

It caused Mr. Tie Wushuang to fall into his trap.

Not only was he framed as the culprit of Shuangshi's massacre,

he was also killed at Diling Hall.

And they accused him of committing suicide out of guilt.

-Is that true? -No way.

-There's something fishy about his death. -Is that true?

-The father and son of Shuangshi -I don't believe it.

-are friends of Mr. Jiang indeed. -Do you have any evidence?

Mr. Jiang, was anything I just said untrue?

You can refute my claims before all the masters gathered here.

Jiang Xiaoyu.

You're good at making up stories.

But how can you twist and turn the facts?

The things you just said have nothing to do with me.

You could wash your hands of this matter because you've kept an obedient killer!

A killer?

I've never kept any retainers at home.

There has always been only Yulang and me.

How could there be a killer in my own home?

The killer who was controlled by you

was Tie Zhan!

TIE ZHAN'S MEMORIAL TABLET

Tie Zhan?

Well...
