EPISODE 24

Yu Dan! You're back!

I thought you had decided to leave me!

Yu Dan, I miss you so much!

-Where have you been? -Help!

It's good that you're back.

If you really care about me, do me a favor.

Say it.

I'll do anything for you.

I'm going to tell you something, but you can never tell anyone else.

Don't you trust me?

Hold on.

Sit properly.

Let me ask you something.

Have you seen Jiang Yulang recently?

No.

Think carefully.

Is it possible that someone by Jiang Biehe's side

is Jiang Yulang in disguise?

Definitely not.

Jiang Yulang hasn't been staying at Duan Manor for the last two days.

Really?

A woman's instinct is baffling sometimes, but they are right most of the time.

Since you're so sure of it, Jiang Yulang must have left some time ago.

Why are we discussing him?

What do you think? Jiang Yulang is closely related to you.

How is he even related to me?

Don't talk nonsense.

Do you know that he was the one who stole your cargo of silver?

-Really? -Of course.

He left all of a sudden because he wanted to avoid me

and hide the cargo of silver which he stole from your family.

Who are you really?

Why is he afraid of you?

Me?

I'm just one of your workers, Yu Dan.

No matter who you are, I'll marry none other than--

If my guess is right,

I'll find out the truth this time.

Keep an eye on him for me.

If Jiang Yulang comes back, inform me immediately.

Why would your plan only succeed if he is not around?

Ms. San, I'm doing all of this

to get back the cargo of silver stolen from your family.

You don't know some things right now, but you'll know everything soon.

So just stop asking, all right?

Besides this,

do you have anything else that you wish to tell me?

Yes.

Wait for me at the small door in the backyard after dark tonight.

"After dark"?

"The small door in the backyard"?

You have to be there. Don't be late.

Don't worry.

I won't be late even if the sky is falling.

You may leave now.

I'll be waiting for you.

My precious, go to sleep

After leaving Wicked Canyon,

I witnessed two huge incidents in the martial arts world.

The fake Yan Nantian treasure map and the robbery of the cargo of silver.

One of these cases

led to a fierce fight involving half the martial arts world,

while the other led to the massacre of Shuangshi

and Tie Wushuang dying miserably.

Coincidentally, both incidents are related to one person.

Who do you mean?

Jiang Biehe.

Mr. Jiang?

Why would he do such despicable things?

Don't you believe me?

You're always secretive and sneaky.

You're full of tricks and you always use the unconventional ways in doing things.

No one would risk believing you.

However, even though you're a jerk,

you're not a hypocrite.

That's right!

Hypocrites are the most abominable people.

And Jiang Biehe is the most shameless hypocrite of all!

So what do you plan to do?

Beat him at his own game.

Jiang Biehe framed others by fabricating charges,

then I'll do the same to him.

An eye for an eye.

Jiang Biehe is a sly and intelligent man.

He wouldn't be fooled so easily.

Jiang Biehe is no doubt as cunning as a fox,

but I definitely have a way to catch him if you're willing to help me out.

How? Tell me about your plan.

The Murong family has been looking for Murong Jiu.

If they find out someone hides Murong Jiu purposely,

there will be a big fight.

Xiaosha.

Yes, Xiaodai?

Write something for me.

What should I write?

Write whatever I tell you.

Sure.

"In order to save me,

bring one million silver taels

and send them to the ancestral hall of Zhang Family in the west of the town.

Don't make any mistakes

or I'll be chopped into pieces."

"One million silver taels"?

It's a huge amount,

but the Murong family should be able to gather the money in a day.

Moreover, it's indeed Murong Jiu's handwriting.

I don't get it.

Why must the ransom be in silver taels?

There's a reason behind it.

You'll know when the time comes.

Are you really going to pick up the silver?

Of course I'll be sending a scapegoat there.

Do you mean Jiang Biehe?

Zhizhu.

After following me around for some time, you've finally become a little smarter.

Hand me the brush.

Jiang Biehe.

I still don't get it.

You're making the two families clash.

How are you going to fabricate a charge against Jiang Biehe?

He can defend himself.

But what if the Murong family finds Murong Jiu

in Jiang Biehe's room?

Are you planning to send her...

Let's go!

Hey, Zhizhu.

Zhizhu!

-Are you crazy, Hei Zhizhu? -You're the crazy one!

She trusts you so much, but you're pushing her into danger!

She is righting justice for the martial arts world.

Also, this is not dangerous at all!

Jiang Biehe won't be there when she goes to his room!

Xiaoyu'er, you're just another scum from Wicked Canyon.

Do you think you're as smart as Zhuge Liang?

Hei Zhizhu, you're just a coward who hides behind a mask.

How would you know I'm not as smart as him?

As long as I'm still alive, I won't let you use Ms. Meng!

I don't think we are stupid, but you are!

I don't care!

Hei Zhizhu.

Am I not your friend?

You only have a woman in your eyes now.

Do you even care about your friend?

I'm going to die because of the poison very soon.

If I don't send Murong Jiu to Duan Manor in time, I will die!

Send her home then!

I am sending her home.

Not only can I send her home,

but I also can kill five birds with one stone too.

Think about it.

First, the villain, Jiang Biehe, will be fooled by me.

Second, I can teach Little Fairy a lesson to avenge the scars on my face.

Third, I can have Murong Jiu be back with her family.

Fourth, all the accusations against Mr. Tie Wushuang

will be proven false!

Fifth, the stolen cargo of silver worth one million silver taels

will be returned to the rightful owner!

Don't you think that's all worth it?

Yes, it's worth it.

Look,

even someone whose mind is clouded thinks clearer than you.

Xiaoyu'er, what's wrong? Has the poison taken effect?

Zhizhu.

If you keep acting like this, the poison will really give me trouble.

You don't have many friends.

If I die, you might have no more friends, right?

If there are more people like you in the world,

no one would be able to live peacefully.

I don't think you'd find another person like me in this world.

I can accept your plan,

but I won't leave her alone.

I won't send her into Jiang Biehe's room

if you can't lure him out.

Don't worry.

When Jiang Biehe and Little Fairy are fighting each other,

I'll be able to put him down easily.

By then, Jiang Biehe will...

Who dares say I'm not the smartest person in the world?

Who?

DUAN MANOR

JIANG BIEHE

Jiang Biehe.

Your son and the stolen silver are now in my hands.

If you wish to negotiate, midnight tonight,

wait at the Zhang ancestral hall in the west of the town.

My precious, go to sleep

I'll keep you company in your dream

-My precious, go to sleep -Xiaodai!

What happened to your face?

Do you still remember the demon in your body?

Didn't you tell me that I have to eliminate the demon in my body

in order to regain my memories?

I worry that he might recognize me, so I made up into this look.

Don't tell anyone else about this.

I know. That demon is terrifying.

We can't let him find us.

Don't worry. I understand.

I know that you'll understand. You're the smartest girl in the world.

Xiaosha, Hei Zhizhu will bring you to a place tonight.

You will meet many people who are greater than me.

They will kick the demon out for you.

Really? That's great.

Xiaodai, how about you?

You might not see me anymore.

Why?

If I can't see you anymore, I don't want to go.

I think you wouldn't want to see me again

after you got rid of the demon.

By that time, many people will keep you company.

I don't want other people to keep me company.

I just want you to stay by my side.

I think I'll just let the demon resides in me.

Silly girl, do you really want to live the rest of your life like this?

Actually,

it's not too bad, so long as you stay by my side.

Then I'll ignore you from now on.

Xiaodai.

-Xiaodai, are you angry? -Yes.

If you insist on sending me there,

I'll go.

You mustn't tell anyone that you know me.

No matter who asks you, you must tell them that Jiang Biehe kidnapped you.

Got it?

All right.

Cheer up.

You should be happy.

By tonight, you'll be reunited with your family.

Bear in mind that your name is not Xiaosha.

You are not Ms. Meng either.

You are Murong Jiu.

Murong family is the first family of martial arts.

Your family will get the best physician to treat your illness.

You will recover soon.

But you won't be around anymore.

What's the point of getting better?

I won't be happy.

I'll feel lonely.

Being alone is scary.

Do you still remember Hei Zhizhu?

He'll protect you.

Today, someone told me that he is my friend.

He wrote this.

Is he Hei Zhizhu?

Hand me the brush.

Since you're still so adorable and obedient right now,

let me tell you something.

First, I...

I'm sorry.

Second, forget me and remember him.

LOVE HEI ZHIZHU

Xiaodai?

Xiaodai!

Xiaodai!

Xiaodai!

Xiaodai.

Xiaodai!

Xiaodai!

Xiaodai.

Xiaodai!

Xiaodai!

Xiaodai!

We've been looking high and low, but we still can't find Murong Jiu.

Where did she go?

That's so worrying.

I don't think you're worried about her.

You're so indecisive and useless.

If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have been fooled by Xiaoyu'er that day.

I bet he didn't look for Murong Jiu at all.

That can't be true.

Are you two bickering?

Ms. Gu, help me!

It's Gu Renyu!

How dare you come here?

-Have you found Murong Jiu? -Of course.

Otherwise, I will die if the poison takes effect.

Then where is she?

See for yourself.

TO ZHANG JING

It's from Murong Jiu.

BRING ONE MILLION SILVER TAELS AND SEND THEM TO...

It's indeed Murong Jiu's writing.

How did you get this letter?

I've used all the money I have to get this clue.

It turns out Murong Jiu was kidnapped by Jiang Biehe.

Therefore, I tried all means to rescue Murong Jiu.

But Jiang Biehe was so skilled in martial arts.

I'm no match for him.

Fortunately, he spared my life.

He instructed me to send this letter written by Murong Jiu to you.

My face is still in pain.

Let me have a look.

"One million silver taels"?

Even if they are asking for ten million, we have to get it for Murong Jiu.

She is right.

The Murong family's second and third daughters are also searching nearby.

Get in touch with them. Let's see if we can gather the money.

All right.

If you're tricking me again,

I'll make sure you die a miserable death.

How is that possible?

I just hope you can reunite with your cousin soon

and give me the antidote.

From then on, we will stay out of each other's life

and go our own ways.

Ms. Meng, what's wrong?

Are you all right?

Xiaodai doesn't want me anymore.

He doesn't want me anymore.

Listen to Xiaodai so that you'll see him soon.

Here.

Have something to eat.

Something big is going to happen tonight.

This bun is delicious.

Do you want some?

FULAI INN

It hurts so much.

I can't walk anymore.

Hey, you.

-Get inside. -I...

Ms. Gu.

The two of you

must be the second and third daughter of the Murong family.

-Have we met before? -No.

But I have long heard about the Nine Wonders of the World.

The second sister, Murong Shuang is an outspoken person.

But her husband's body is weak and can't practice martial arts.

In order not to embarrass her husband,

she didn't bring along her personal bow and dagger with her

when she married him.

What a kind lady. I knew it's you the moment I saw you.

The third sister is a talented lady.

She is good at playing instruments, especially the zither.

Your fingers have traces of false fingernails.

You must be Murong Shanshan.

Don't be a wise guy.

Let's cut to the chase.

-Sure. -Let me ask you.

Jiang Biehe is a well-known and respectable hero

in the martial arts world.

How would he do such things?

Murong Shuang, as the saying goes,

"You may know a person's face, but not his heart."

To me, Jiang Biehe is the worst hypocrite

and the most cunning thief in the martial arts world.

If Jiang Biehe abducted Murong Jiu out of love,

why would he ask for a ransom?

Well...

That's because he doesn't want to lose both the woman and money.

Think about it.

Murong Jiu has very high standards for men.

Of course she wouldn't accept Jiang Biehe.

Since Jiang Biehe can't win her heart, of course he'll go for money.

Have you met with Murong Jiu?

How is she?

Don't get me started.

She is the beloved ninth daughter of the Murong Family,

but she is now being locked up by Jiang Biehe like a pet.

I just can't bear looking at the sight.

Murong Shuang, this matter seems amiss.

No matter what, we'll find out the truth tonight.

Let's meet with Jiang Biehe.

Hurry up, put on the hairpin for me.

This doesn't look good.

Too small.

This one.

I like this!

It's here.

Why don't we go in?

Xiaoyu'er said someone will pick us up.

"Xiaoyu'er"?

Who is Xiaoyu'er?

It is Xiaodai.

"Xiaodai"?

Xiaodai.

Xiaodai told me not to tell anyone that I know him.

I have to say Jiang Biehe kidnapped me.

Right.

Someone is coming out.

What are you doing?

We are unsure whether Jiang Biehe has left his room.

We can't take the risk.

Wait here. Let me go and have a look.

Promise me, don't go anywhere.

YOUR SON AND THE STOLEN SILVER ARE NOW IN MY HANDS

IF YOU WISH TO NEGOTIATE, MIDNIGHT TONIGHT...

YOUR SON AND THE STOLEN SILVER

MEET ME TONIGHT

No matter who asks, tell them that Jiang Biehe kidnapped me.

No matter who asks, tell them that Jiang Biehe kidnapped me.

-We can go in now. -Let's go.

Who are you?

Mr. Yu Dan told us to come here.

"Yu Dan"?

What happened to him? Why isn't he here?

He said you'll see him once things are done.

"Things are done..."

What things?

Bring this lady into Duan Manor

and hide her in Jiang Biehe's room when it's midnight.

Who is she?

Mr. Yu Dan said she is the key

who can help the Duan family get the stolen silver back.

The stolen silver again.

Why doesn't he come to tell me that himself?

You, follow me.

Go.

Hurry up.

Why didn't Yu Dan come?

Where is Yu Dan?

He told me to meet him at the door in the backyard tonight!

Where is he?

Yu Dan!

Why didn't Yu Dan come?

Don't move.

Don't move.

Is there something on my face?

Coquette!

Don't think that I wouldn't know even if you disguise yourself!

Tell me! What is your relationship with Yu Dan?

I don't know anyone named Yu Dan.

Then who is your man?

My man?

Do you mean my husband?

Whatever you want to call it!

My husband is Xiaodai.

I'm Xiaosha.

But Xiaodai said my name is not Xiaosha.

I'm Murong Jiu.

"Xiaodai"?

So your husband is not Yu Dan?

Will you slap me again if my husband's name is Yu Dan?

No.

That's how we show our hospitality.

I...

Well done!

You're my friend from now on.

Yu Dan's friend is my friend.

Here, have a seat.

FULAI INN

Are you ready?

What is this supposed to mean?

MEMORIAL

Who died?

You.

How do I not know about this?

It's not too late to know now.

Little Fairy.

I found Murong Jiu for you and yet you want to kill me?

Why are you so vicious?

Zhang Jing, stop scaring him.

He is so annoying. He deserves it.

Xiaoyu'er, we will carry that casket into the ancestral hall later.

You'll be hiding inside the casket.

We'll tell Jiang Biehe the one million silver taels are inside.

While he is counting the silver, you'll hit his acupoints.

It's safer for us to look for Murong Jiu.

Fine.

Ms. Gu, you have to disguise yourself too.

-I-- -We'll be pretending to be grieving.

We will be acting as the widows of the deceased.

First wife, second wife, third wife and you're the fourth wife.

He couldn't have married a man, right?

But I...

No buts. Just do it!

That's a good idea, Ms. Gu.

It will surely suit you well.

Hey, why are you laughing?

Get inside.

Are you serious?

You won't get the antidote if you don't get in.

What bad luck.

ZHANG ANCESTRAL HALL

My poor husband,

you died such a horrible death.

Now that you are gone, how am I going to live on?

You have the cheek to wail here.

You are the seductress who caused our husband's death.

Get lost!

You're such a jealous and ugly person!

He had long lost interest in you.

You should be the one to leave!

How dare you hit me? I'll kill you!

-How dare you hit me? -I'll kill you!

Ignorant women.

You even dare to pull such a trick in front of me.

I've looked into it.

All the descendants of the Zhang family died a long time ago.

Who are you people?

If you don't tell me, none of you can leave here alive!

Don't you know why we are here?

I don't know what you're talking about.

Who are you?

Aren't you here because of that letter?

Why would I be here if it wasn't for that letter?

That means

you must get that one million silver taels no matter what, right?

Not just the silver, I want the person too.

You want both the silver and the person?

Both are indispensable.

How can you be so outrageous?

Because of this sharp sword in my hand.

We have no choice but to kill you then!

-Enough nonsense! -Go die!

Your death is near. Aren't you going to surrender?

You're the ones that are at death's door.

Aren't you going to drop your weapons?

-One. -Take the silver, leave the person.

-Two. -If you refuse, you're going to die.

Three!

I don't want both the silver and the person anymore.

Wait!

You insisted on fighting just now and now you want to leave.

Do you think you can get off that easily?

I did what I did earlier

-because I didn't know who you were. -What about now?

You are the Nine Wonders of the World of the Murong family.

You're from a well-known and reputable family.

I don't have to worry about not getting the silver and the person back.

How do you know who we are?

This must be the Fist of a Beautiful Man, Gu Renyu, right?

No wonder people call you Ms. Gu.

Who do you think you are to call him that?

Evil bandit!

If you don't hand the person to us, you won't be able to leave here!

I will come and go as I please.

-Do you believe that? -Let's see how you're going to do that!

Zhang Jing!

-Do you want her dead? -Let her go or I'll kill you!

If you don't back off, I'm going to kill her!

Let her go and we'll let you go.

Why should I trust you?

Don't let him escape!

-He wouldn't dare hurt me. -Are you sure?

Evil scum, stop!

Drop your weapons.

Drop your weapon.

Ms. Gu, why don't you listen to me?

No matter what, I won't let you get hurt.

Open the casket.

Aren't these my silver taels?

You're still trying to fool me.

Stop dreaming.

Nangong and I were delayed on our way here.

Fortunately, we got here in time.

Right, Dear?

You're Qin Jian, the chief of Liang Guang Martial Arts Alliance

and Nangong Liu from the Nangong family.

Since both of you are here,

I'll reveal my face.

Jiang Biehe, it's indeed you.

Mr. Jiang.

Although we've never met,

your reputation precedes you.

I wonder why you kidnapped Murong Jiu?

I never kidnapped anyone.

It looks like you were

fooled by the deceitful Jiang Xiaoyu as well.

You kidnapped Murong Jiu and demanded a ransom.

You're still pretending you know nothing.

Do you take us for fools?

That's right.

Weren't you very arrogant just now?

What did he say earlier?

He wants both the silver and the person.

The silver I was talking about wasn't silver from the Murong family.

The person mentioned isn't Murong Jiu as well.

Not silver from Murong? Then whose silver are you seeking?

Not Jiu? Who were you talking about then?

That's right.

Whose silver were you talking about?

One million silver taels. Who has that much silver?

I remember now.

Could it be the cargo of silver that was stolen from Duan Hefei?

Look at you.

It turns out that it was you who stole those one million silver taels.

Nonsense!

Jiang Xiaoyu.

If you want to frame me, where's the evidence?

I've never even met Ms. Murong Jiu, not to mention kidnap her!

Jiang Xiaoyu, do you know where is he hiding Murong Jiu?

Of course I know.

It's at Duan Hefei's manor,

inside Jiang Biehe's room.

Since Mr. Jiang claimed to be innocent,

why don't we take a trip to your room?

Whether or not it's true,

we'll know after checking it.

I, Jiang Biehe, am always frank and open.

I have nothing to be afraid of!

Please.

Please.

Please.

DUAN MANOR

-Mr. Jiang. -Mr. Jiang.

-Master. -Master.

-Master. -Master.

What do you mean by this?

Jiang Biehe, if you have a clear conscience,

why don't you let us in?

Step aside.

Go in. Search thoroughly.

Murong Jiu!

Jiang Xiaoyu, where's Murong Jiu?

Jiang Biehe is a cunning man.

Search thoroughly.

Perhaps she is kept somewhere hidden.

What's all the commotion?

The Murong family came to question Mr. Jiang and wanted to search his room.

Young Master, Jiang Xiaoyu is here too.

"Jiang Xiaoyu"?

-Keep guard here. -Yes.

-She is not here. -Search carefully.

Sanqing bell.

Jiang Xiaoyu!

Jiang Biehe.

Where are you keeping her?

I've never hidden anyone.

You've searched everywhere, haven't you?

Jiang Xiaoyu.

Let me ask you something.

Other than you, can you tell us who else has seen me

hiding Murong Jiu in my quarters?

Enough of your nonsense!

You must have done something at the ancestral hall.

Enough is enough, hand her over.

I have no one to hand over.

Stop acting innocent.

Let me tell you.

Things have come to this point, there's no use in denying it.

Let me ask you.

If you didn't kidnap Murong Jiu,

then why did you say you want the silver and the person at the ancestral hall?

That is a long story.

Since it's a long story,

please come with us and take your time to explain it to us.

How dare you!

Who are you people?

How dare you make a scene in my manor?

You're hiding Murong Jiu.

We would enter any place even of extreme danger,

not to mention this lousy manor of yours.

How rebellious.

How rebellious.

Protect my savior.

Guards, take these people down!

-Well... -Stop!

What's the matter? Are you trying to escape?

Are you Mr. Hua Wuque from Yihua Palace?

That's right.

The Murong family and Yihua Palace have never interfered with one another.

Please don't get involved in this matter.

Mr. Jiang and I are working together

to look into the case of the stolen silver.

Before the truth comes to light,

no one can take Mr. Jiang away.
