BIG MOUTH

THIS SHOW IS A WORK OF FICTION

THE EVENTS AND ENTITIES THAT APPEAR HEREIN ARE FICTIONAL

EPISODE 10

Big Mouse knows everything.

He knows how I'm beating the monsters and what I've gained.

How fierce the fights were and how close I came to dying.

OH * CHUL

If you want conclusive intel regarding Seo Jaeyoung's paper,

come here by 8 p.m. tomorrow.

If you don't show up, I won't help you anymore.

You called me here. Tell me what you want.

You're Big Mouse?

Think about it.

All of the strange things that happened in here.

If it wasn't me...

there are no explanations for it.

And the guys who died in the mess hall?

I gave them cyanide and told them it was a sedative.

Then they died on their own.

And the person who gave me the list of real drug users?

Of course, it was me.

OH CHANSOO, HONG SEOKHWAN, CHOO SOOYEON, PARK GARAM, LUCAS MARTINS

What about the gold found in the ground?

That place had no cameras or tapping devices.

POSITION NO. A-2, GUDAL MOUNTAIN

Was that magic, not a trick?

I didn't come out here to tell you all my secrets.

Tell me what you know about Seo Jaeyoung's paper.

What's the conclusive intel?

That's for when we don't meet.

Tell me yourself.

I still have my doubts that you're the real Big Mouse.

Is this...

enough to believe me?

You're not Big Mouse.

What?

An owner doesn't wear a leash.

He puts one on his dog. A puppet, like you.

Tell Big Mouse

to show up himself.

If he touches my family or does something stupid,

the truth about the paper you guys want

will disappear forever.

CATHOLIC CHURCH

HAPPY CORRECTIONS

Big Mouse. You need to suffer the same.

See how bad it feels.

Ma'am.

What brings you here?

Changho was mistaken.

He thought you met Big Mouse.

If it will be helpful, I'll be a witness at his trial.

I'd be grateful if you did.

Take care of yourself.

Okay. Goodbye.

Don't come out and get some rest.

BIG MOUTH

13TH DIVISION COMMANDER

When he retired, Chairman Kang Sunggeun

made NK Chemical's first factory in Gucheon.

He created countless jobs.

The godfather of the chemical industry,

Chairman Kang always treated his employees warmly like family.

Grandpa! No!

Grandpa...

-Grandpa. -Oh, no.

Grandpa.

Grandpa!

Grandpa. No.

Grandpa. No.

Grandpa...

What brings you here, sir?

I was passing by, and I heard Mayor Choi was here...

But why are you asking me that?

I'm sorry, sir.

Is he inside?

I'll tell him you're here.

Why? Is he with someone?

He asked that nobody come in.

Okay.

NK CHEMICAL'S ENGINEERS AND THEIR FAMILIES

Why are you watching this?

That little kid...

I thought this last time,

but he looks a lot like you.

That's why I was watching it. I thought it was interesting.

I looked into him because of that...

...and it turns out he died while playing in the river.

Our newspaper wrote an article about it.

What year was it again? It was 1990...

That's sad. He was so young.

Aren't you making it too obvious?

You're here alone,

and you're watching that video.

Aren't you making it so obvious you're drooling over the elder's business?

Can you get straight to the point?

You played a nice joke with Seo Jaeyoung's paper this time.

Okay. I admit it.

I underestimated you.

I just thought of you as someone with an ulterior motive,

but you're at a higher level than I thought.

You should be grateful to me.

I saved you from being strangled by the elder.

You should've hidden who you were until the end.

Things won't go according to your plan anymore

because I'll put up against you properly.

You're no match for me.

If I'm not, who is?

Are you...

-Hello? -It's me, Park Changho.

Yes, I'm listening.

I'm being interrogated tomorrow.

I'm going to give them important information about Big Mouse.

I can't trust Choi Joongrak.

Can you come? I need a witness.

Okay.

Hey. What are you doing?

Hey. Those are mine, punk!

Hey. Give it back!

-What are you doing? -Why are you fighting?

-Somebody stop them! -Come here.

-Darn it. Move! -Stop them.

There's a fight in here!

What are you doing?

Inmate 1708.

Hey.

This is you.

People are getting into fights over those supplements.

It's insane.

Look at them.

They're all fighting like cats and dogs.

It makes sense.

They were all half-dead, but those supplements made them better.

You're right, Boss.

The medicine is really effective.

When they get into a fight,

not even the guards can stop them.

BLOOD TEST RESULTS

NO HEEWOO

Please come to Ward 92 immediately.

I think we should change the medication.

The inmates are showing side effects.

Last time this happened, Professor Seo...

Hey.

That was Seo Jaeyoung's prescription.

Are you a doctor? Why are you making diagnoses?

You just need to do what we tell you to do.

You're too experienced to be lectured.

We've been working together for ten years already.

I'm sorry.

By any chance,

did Dr. Hyun ask about what Seo Jaeyoung was doing?

No, never.

-You can go back to work. -Yes, sir.

See? Hyun Juhee never gets her hands dirty.

Even Choi Doha said this was a secret from his wife.

But...

...do you think there will be problems if we keep going?

My gosh. Weren't there problems before? It always fizzled out,

and the elder complimented us.

That's true. There have to be problems for us to have something to do.

That's right.

Don't you think about the hospital's image?

Why are you here?

He's a doctor, he's your legal counsel, and I'm a director of the foundation.

How could you ask us that?

The three of you will be fired at the board of directors' meeting.

If we get fired, who will take care of matters for the center?

Are you going to do it?

There are plenty of people the elder can replace you with.

Then we'd be upset.

We killed a man to prove our loyalty to the elder.

Keep living in the sun and acting like you're pure and innocent.

We'll take care of everything wet and dark.

Let's go.

How dare you threaten us?

Hey. Pass. Nice.

-That's right. -Nice.

Inmate 5247. Get ready to go out.

Peter Hong... I'm sure you know him.

He let his mouth run on and ended up dead from a heart attack

at the Prosecutors' Office.

Go and get interrogated, but don't do anything stupid.

Why? Are you afraid I'll drop a bomb?

Nobody would believe you even if you run your mouth.

Do you think so?

You've been doing so well.

Why do you keep taking detours?

That's the edge of a cliff.

Just bring Big Mouse to me.

Then our relationship will continue.

If he doesn't like it, we'll be enemies.

These are the résumés of the nurses you'll interview this afternoon.

RÉSUMÉ NAME: JANG HEEJU

RÉSUMÉ NAME: KO MIHO

KO MIHO

It's an important seminar, so of course, I'll be there.

Yes, sir. I'll see you then.

What are you doing in my office?

I was waiting for you.

Coffee always tasted best when you made it yourself.

I have guests coming.

If you have something to say, say it and go.

I heard you're sending Ms. Park and Ms. Jang to the penitentiary.

The warden asked. Why?

Gosh, you should've talked to me first.

You know I know my way around that prison.

I could've given you a lot of good information.

If you're done with your coffee, can you leave?

Can you stop our dismissal at the board of directors' meeting?

Think of our past together.

We were as close as family.

That issue is out of my hands.

You people could try appealing to the directors yourselves.

How did it seem?

Do you think Hyun Juhee knows we changed the meds?

No. Not at all.

You should keep checking.

The moment she finds out, we're dead.

We should talk to Ms. Park and shut her mouth.

You should meet her tonight.

You do it. I don't have time.

Why don't you have time?

Because of Hyejin?

Hey. How will you find someone who left the country?

What will you do if you find her?

You're divorced now.

Seriously...

I'll meet Ms. Park.

He's practically a patient now.

Who? Is it him?

Don't look at him.

-Don't provoke him. -All right.

Hey. Isn't that Big Mouse's wife?

Is she here to see him?

Changho's at the Prosecutors' Office.

FAITH AND CONSIDERATION, HAPPY GUCHEON

Welcome.

Have a seat.

Ms. Ko, are you looking to get a job here?

Yes. Did you two also quit the hospital?

No. We came to provide support.

Thank you for applying.

But...

Ms. Ko, you applied for a full-time position.

Yes.

I guess I should say this before things get complicated.

We cannot work alongside Ms. Ko Miho.

Oh, is that so?

I don't want to work here with them either.

Then I guess I have no choice.

Stop it. Hey!

Not only have I worked in the ER, but I've also been a PA for three years.

I am confident I can handle any emergencies

that may arise in the prison.

What's the reason why you insisted

on applying here with your experience?

Is it...

because of your husband?

To be honest...

Everyone get on the floor.

Get on the floor, you punks!

Inmate 1503. Hands on your head and get on your knees.

Was he always like that?

He's a complete lunatic.

Subdue him.

I can't help but think that he's on drugs.

-Narcotics. -No way.

How could he get his hands on drugs in here?

How many shots is that?

Hey. Inmate 1503!

Inmate 1503 isn't breathing.

I think he's in cardiac arrest.

We need an emergency kit and a defibrillator.

-Where is it? -Show her.

Call 911 first.

Which way is the field?

Follow me.

Inmate 1503.

Hey, move over.

HAPPY GUCHEON

I'll do it.

Please save him.

Move!

Why won't this work? It's not turning on!

I think it's out of batteries.

You brought it without checking?

You brought it.

I'll start with CPR.

Are you okay?

Yes...

Please take care of him.

We'll be back. Hurry up and get in.

Not you.

Please.

Of course. It's my job as a nurse.

I'll be back.

EMERGENCY RESCUE

There are a lot of things we must improve in the medical room.

You can go back.

I'll call you with the results of the interview.

Hey.

Is Changho really being interrogated by the Prosectors' Office?

Yes. Didn't Miho tell you?

Then you should've told me.

Are you leaving me out when I'm his lawyer?

My gosh. Mistaking our signs in a game happens from time to time.

Changho's a lawyer too, so he can take care of himself.

Don't worry.

Did you eat? Have a bite.

I'm a bit upset about this.

You're here, senior.

Call me Mayor. I don't want to hear that from you.

Shall we?

Park Changho said he'll plead the fifth until you come.

It was hard to keep a straight face.

I felt bad for him after seeing how much trust he has in you.

I heard from Mr. Gong.

The hidden accomplice in Seo Jaeyoung's case...

A prosecutor wins using evidence. Not rumors.

I heard you got rid of the evidence.

It'll be fine then.

I listened to your demands and brought someone hard to call in. Tell us now.

Before that, why aren't you dropping my drug charges?

Why are you talking nonsense from the start?

You know as well as I do that Gong Jihoon drugged me.

You're here as a Big Mouse suspect.

Not drugs.

That's when my life started falling apart, so we should fix that first.

That dashcam video...

I'll give it to the prosecutor myself.

It won't be good for you to get involved since you know the suspects.

Fine.

Are you leaving already? Please, drink this on your way.

You haven't indicted him for the drug charges yet, right?

No.

I'll make sure you get the charges dropped,

so let's move on.

Okay. Tell us.

What is this important information you have on Big Mouse?

If you're lying to us, I'll hit you with additional punishment, so be aware.

What in the world are you doing now?

You called me here. Tell me what you want.

You're Big Mouse?

Think about it.

All of the strange things that happened in here.

If it wasn't me, there are no explanations for it.

And the guys who died in the mess hall?

I gave them cyanide and told them it was a sedative.

Then they died on their own.

And the person who gave me the list of real drug users?

Of course, it was me.

This is all I'll reveal.

Hey, are you kidding me?

I'll play the full version in court.

Do you recognize this voice?

It sounds like Park Yoongab.

-Park Yoongab? -Yes, the warden.

The warden is Big Mouse?

He's just one of his puppets. The real Big Mouse is someone else.

What evidence do you have that he's a puppet?

The Magician Reversed.

It means, "I'm lying to you."

That's for when we don't meet.

Tell me yourself.

Big Mouse and I have been exchanging signs...

and Warden Park couldn't read it.

How much did you give Warden Park?

I hear he's obsessed with money.

You gave him money to falsify that recording, didn't you?

I understand your position.

You became a fool because of Seo Jaeyoung's case,

but you arrested an innocent man and put him in prison.

How will you handle the criticism?

Give me that recording.

Can you hold onto it, Mayor Choi? I can't trust that man.

You'll find out once you hear it,

but Big Mouse is very interested in Seo Jaeyoung's paper.

Why is Big Mouse so interested in that paper?

I honestly have no idea.

I'm not interested in anything but catching him and clearing my name.

Everything will come out if we call Warden Park as a testifier.

A testifier? You're not going to arrest him?

Do you think we can get a warrant with an illegal recording?

Do you want me to give you a tip?

Please open the door.

Warden Park has been blackmailing inmates to extort money.

Get an arrest warrant for corruption and do a search and seizure.

You'll find tons of hidden cameras and bugs.

That's how he acted as Big Mouse's right-hand man.

Once you get enough evidence on him, I'll give you the rest of the recording.

We'll hit the final nail on the coffin. It's clean.

If you're so smart, you should've become a prosecutor.

Get an arrest warrant.

What?

I'll provide you with the support you need.

I didn't give you that recording.

You need to cover for me if you want to catch Big Mouse.

I see. So that means Big Mouse is inside the prison.

Is there...

anyone you have in mind?

Not yet.

Give me the recording.

Take care of Warden Park first.

Senior Choi.

Mayor Choi.

Don't call me your senior, you punk.

What do you think?

Can we believe Park Changho?

He has evidence. What can we do if we don't trust him?

What if we trust him?

You want me to overturn our investigation?

Just do whatever Choi Doha asks.

I'll step back from now on.

Darn it!

MINISTRY OF JUSTICE

LAW AND ORDER IS A PROMISE

Just sit here quietly. Don't act out.

Doing this won't change anything.

The dice has been cast.

What dice?

The one with the upper hand will change.

The situation has changed.

The situation has changed indeed.

It went from a collar to shackles.

Shackles?

Sir. Did the results come out?

There was nothing noteworthy.

Did he test positive for narcotics or any other drugs?

I tested him, but he's clean.

That's strange. He didn't seem like he was in his right mind.

Take him with you when the patient wakes up.

New narcotics won't test positive.

It's late, so you should get off work from here.

-What? -I guess you didn't get the call.

You can start working tomorrow.

I see. Okay.

MAYOR CHOI DOHA

Goodbye.

NINE HOSPITAL

Can you send this to them first?

I'll get the rest of the blood soon.

Food's here.

What did you do outside?

You were close with Warden Park.

Did something happen?

He was annoying me, so I spat on him.

I see why you're in solitary.

I'm a porter as of today. I'm getting paid 30,000 won more daily.

Tell me if you need anything.

Right.

Did you know that your wife got a job here in the medical room?

Miho?

You didn't know? Today's her first day.

Darn it.

Hey, can I ask for a favor?

Porter. Don't you know you're not allowed to talk to inmates?

I didn't talk to him.

He talked on his own.

My gosh, Ko Miho.

Miho, come on.

Welcome.

This man will be in charge of all the odd jobs in here.

You could just call me Inmate 1420.

Okay.

I didn't see any doctors. Do you not have any here full-time?

We had a public health physician,

but we haven't had any applicants after he was discharged.

You will have to work a little harder until we find someone.

I'll show you around while he cleans.

This place is quite empty when there are no part-time staff here like today.

I heard you found an important clue

regarding Seo Jaeyoung's paper.

Park Changho told me.

He told me to ask you for the specifics.

I heard you're Big Mouse's right-hand man.

Changho told me too.

That's why I applied here.

I'll protect my own husband.

I hate calculating, and I'm bad at testing people.

Why don't we both open up our hidden cards?

I suppose that would work for both of us.

Park Changho is in solitary.

If you tell me about Seo Jaeyoung's paper, I'll let him out right now.

Could you tell me why you want to know first?

You're just asking questions and not answering any of mine.

Let's try to get along.

Excuse me. I'm done cleaning.

Okay. Thank you.

I'm really close with Changho.

We're from the same room.

If you need anything, tell me. I'll help you.

I would like to consult with the inmates about their blood tests.

How should I do that?

It's easy. If I relay that message to the other porters,

this place will be filled in no time.

Then could you do that for me?

Mister 1420.

Gosh.

It's been ages since anyone called me "mister."

Mister.

Sir. Inmate 5247 requested a meeting. What should I do?

Yes?

I told you not to touch my family.

Your wife applied to come here,

and I chose her based on her skills.

Send her out right now.

-Or else... -Do you think she would be safe out there?

Big Mouse made an offer.

You want to know who Big Mouse is,

and we want to know about Seo Jaeyoung's paper.

How about we reveal our cards?

You want to play 21 Questions?

Do you think it'll take 21 Questions?

We could get everything we need with just a few questions.

Let me see Miho first.

Let's play the game first.

I'll start.

Why is Big Mouse obsessed with Seo Jaeyoung's paper?

Someone that Big Mouse cared for the most

died because of the paper.

My turn.

What's inside Seo Jaeyoung's paper?

Blood.

-Blood? -The blood they took from inmates

on the premise of blood tests.

What about that blood?

Just tell Big Mouse that. This is 21 Questions.

This place is more dangerous than you think.

Don't trust the correctional officers,

and try to go around with other people from the medical room...

Gosh, my legs.

Goodness.

I heard.

You were in solitary?

Why did you do this without telling me?

I didn't have time to tell you.

Are you mad about that?

Miho, this place is...

I know it's dangerous. I put a lot of thought into it.

Miho.

I'm begging you. Quit right away.

Okay. I will.

In return, I want to hear your plan.

Tell me.

You know. First, Big Mouse...

Not that.

How will you get the inmates' blood out?

I'll take care of it, so don't worry.

I'm not worried. I'm curious.

To get the results without errors,

you have to do the plasmapheresis here.

I'm curious as to who is helping you with such a complicated procedure.

I'll quit after I meet them. I'm serious.

Hey, Ko Miho!

You don't have anyone.

It's obvious from your tough act and calling me by my full name.

You don't. Right?

Miho. Something huge is about to happen.

You could be in real danger.

That's why I have to do it.

Who else would do something dangerous for you?

GUCHEON PENITENTIARY

Open up.

HOPE DOES NOT SHUN HE WHO SEEKS IT

I was wondering who it was.

What brings you here, Prosecutor Choi?

Park Yoongab.

You're under arrest for the blackmail and extortion

of inmates.

This is a search warrant.

-Move. -Does Mr. Gong know...

you're doing this to me?

What does this have to do with Mr. Gong?

Why didn't Dr. Han come with you?

He's busy looking for Jang Hyejin.

She's left the country.

Someone said they saw Hyejin in Seoul.

Where?

Was it Itaewon?

Did you look at the entry records?

I did, but she's not in there.

That's why he's going crazy.

I think we need to get that Dr. Han admitted to a mental hospital.

WARDEN PARK YOONGAB

Hello, Warden Park.

What? An emergency arrest? Those damn punks.

Put Prosecutor Choi on the phone.

Don't get worked up!

Go ahead.

Yes. What are you doing there, Prosecutor Choi?

I got a tip about corruption.

Corruption? Stop with the nonsense and go back.

Don't you know that Warden Park is one of my people?

You're on speakerphone. Watch what you're saying.

Right. Who gave you the orders?

I think Mayor Choi put pressure on the upper heads.

I don't know either. I'm sorry.

You have the right to remain silent and the right to an attorney.

You can request habeas corpus, so keep that in mind.

Arrest him.

Why would Choi Doha do that to Warden Park?

I should leave before I hit traffic.

Tell us. What's going on right now?

I think I'm a genius.

Are you the one controlling the situation?

I'll tell you on our way there. It'll be fun.

-What is it? -What is it?

Mr. Gong.

REFORM FILLED WITH DREAMS AND HOPES

Look at all of them. Don't miss anyone.

Okay. I'm looking.

The guy that looks flustered or angry...

is Big Mouse.

ESTABLISHING LAW AND ORDER, HAPPY GUCHEON

SOCIAL REHABILITATION DEPARTMENT

CONTROL ROOM

I knew he'd get caught.

I heard he got caught with all the cash

he extorted out of the inmates.

That's what we call punitive justice.

Who gave the tip?

I'm sure it's someone in here.

Warden Park was a jerk,

but he was always good to me. Gosh.

Inmate 5247. The warden requested a meeting.

Is Warden Park out already?

The acting warden is here to replace him.

I hope the interim warden has a better personality than Warden Park.

A lunatic could leave for a psycho to come in.

PARK YOONGAB

Are you here to meditate? Open your eyes.

Do as the law dictates.

I'm used to prison,

so I accept all punishments.

Do you think I brought you here

just to deal with a small fish like you?

You called me here. Tell me what you want.

You're Big Mouse?

All of the strange things that happened in here.

If it wasn't me, there are no explanations for it.

And the guys who died in the mess hall?

I gave them cyanide and told them it was a sedative.

Then they died on their own.

The warden will be here soon.

Take a seat. Let's have a drink.

Park Changho...

What? Park Changho didn't record this.

If it wasn't Park Changho, who was it?

He said he knows you best within the prison.

He says he's your closest acquaintance.

Gan Soochul?

Have a seat.

He's taking over your position as warden.

Mayor Choi pushed for him.

GAN SOOCHUL

-That recording... -I sent it.

Mayor Choi gave it to me.

Thank you for everything. I won't forget this.

I don't fully trust in you,

Mr. Park.

Not until...

you bring Big Mouse to me.

DIRECTOR, HYUN JUHEE

This evening at 7 p.m.,

a sedan going from Goksa-dong to Miyang-dong

crossed over the centerline into oncoming traffic

and hit a guardrail on the other side.

The police said that the driver seemed

to have lost consciousness while driving...

He'll help you a lot from now on.

You can act freely in here. And tell me if you need anything.

I fought a lonely fight, but now I feel reassured.

Mayor Choi.

You should see the news.

The driver of the car who got into the accident

is Mayor Choi Doha's wife and Gucheon Hospital's director,

Ms. Hyun Juhee.

Ms. Hyun was brought to Gucheon Hospital immediately after the accident,

and luckily, she was not in critical condition.

According to witness statements,

the car was speeding, running the lights, and crossing through the centerline.

The police are suspecting drunk driving.

-Miho! -Oh, my gosh!

My gosh.

What was that? You scared me.

Don't walk out of here alone when you go home.

I'll walk you to the parking lot.

Is a prisoner allowed to be so free?

I know. It turned out that way.

Did you see the news?

You mean Dr. Hyun?

That's not a simple car accident.

What is it if it's not?

Are you saying...

I think we hit two birds with one stone as we planned.

Big Mouse...

And Mayor Choi Doha.

You still think the accomplice who killed Professor Seo was me.

Then who was it?

Who spoke to Jung Chaebong after they killed Seo Jaeyoung?

Find out for yourself.

It really wasn't me.

Why is that off?

Did you say Mayor Choi was with you when you gave the blood to NFS?

Yes. Why do you ask?

Did the results come out?

I'm at the NFS. I'm here to check the results.

The accomplice in killing Seo Jaeyoung might not be Gong Jihoon.

If it's not Gong Jihoon, who is it?

If Mayor Choi is the accomplice, the results will be manipulated.

Just check that.

The blood type has changed.

What do you mean?

Look at this.

Nam Kisung's blood type is RH minus B,

but the results say his blood type RH plus B.

It was manipulated.

Okay, Miho.

Choi Doha, that son of a...

-Hello? -It's me, Park Changho.

I'm being interrogated tomorrow.

I'm going to give them important information about Big Mouse.

I can't trust Choi Joongrak.

Can you come? I need a witness.

So Big Mouse has begun attacking Mayor Choi.

Choi Doha will fight back too.

Do you think Big Mouse will reveal himself?

He won't have a choice.

In order to get Choi Doha, he'll need me.

If he does?

We need to catch him

and get rid of Choi Doha too.

BIG MOUTH

BIG MOUTH

Be aware.

If you don't catch Big Mouse, you'll lose everything you have at once.

Killing Professor Seo wasn't enough? What is he trying to hide?

Nobody can guarantee you'll live.

-Not even Big Mouse... -Who is it, you jerk?

...can protect you.

Get rid of both of them tonight.

Get some guys you trust to start a riot.

We just need to watch and wait.

And get them all at once.

You're dead!

If he doesn't show up...

I'm going to get rid of our plan.
