a look. At your poop

want you to show me the story you could of were not in the time I got sucked out of

the some you know women and children face the sight I figured I could spend another

night in this dump the fellows in this fracas couldn't if they tried yet one word

to get that right wing that's just it they were in

a minute me when I got this I was an International Settlement man I'm. My own

business when Off went the filings looking to be able to talk about it between you

and me and when I got it on the office found out I'd been when they cable me to

come home probably figured I couldn't handle

a cow with one med can you. Tell em. To meet me in Amman and not send you off in

the first boat she's been itching to ruin Japanese ship gone to Manila to transfer

a passenger there to an American plane. Where did you get

a head like that and haven't you heard I come from a long line

a seaside town goes we get the lobby of the first thing in the morning and the

money gets off not in the course of the Irish I get your brother have you debated

to get it.

But when is the next boat out to the president the last boarders litmus I must get

on that boat I'm sorry miss but she's jammed with

a water line and I've got to about

a minute and exceptions to the way in Iraq myself I don't know but internationally

that I tried I thought I had some influence Never mind him missed you can hear it

in the monitor with your passport in order and you're probably give up our right

but it's a better ship I'm going on it myself that makes it

a better ship so I have to have

a passport even five accusations you sure do miss the Japanese ship American trade

for evacuation of American citizens all of which are turning of.

I just wonder like that every once in

a while to me I don't have that much luck. Michael

include. SCRAM device before you go home your new I am going around the looks of

the Soviet embassy of course was

a spy Yeah we got just five seconds to be gone by the way and.

Go on big. Boy they've got to have

a coma. Well.

That's gratitude for you.

Oh right. And the kids are getting my own room back you have been gone long enough

to read it up now boy take my bag out with it. When. Roommate will.

Want to know. Johnny McEntee must soon how did he

go up and now you know could go into the states places like that house take

somewhere with the boys down at the Japanese consulate with something to do with

issue one

a statement of how is the are many better middle. West

imagine any. Heinie with dispatch who was

a gentleman by the name Assad goes or. Not general Alexis

No there's no general elections in this town in the diplomatic set of us as far as

I know when I should know he used to become

a so with the Soviet embassy before they gave him the book. Boy yes or. The man

with the ball or was he.

Anything else when I went to play ping pong with him at night if I were you

thinking about if you haven't actually got fed about

a group and showed his knife tricks and they can whip one out from either sleeve or

do what kind of good bad or better fast.

Came again peace or. You stop you just

a roommate twelve. I don't know what you have

a connection with Mr So go as it is but if you're on the wrong end of the stick I

don't see as bad I don't think you're going to get that from me I know get out

tomorrow I can't. John in the old

war one of the so-called luck I was overcome upon

a single solitary night when I want to pass every go home oh my seafaring glad I

guess women and children place no room left for McGuinty that's

a good heart of you also get you into trouble yes Johnny it already has on the way

back I ran into a fellow who was trying to grab

a girl against her will and I stepped in. Chap rescues made him from Mars did she

appreciated Johnny Allen she did I never found out about it when I turned around

she was gone not even the kids are assigned to thank you for your pains

a fortune the war in the Galahad conflict we all have

a touch of that of these one small young lives what I'd love to see there was she

pretty Johnny. Girl as she had to be assessed all in all the story books. The first

time I rescued

a maiden she's got my face for doing your apparently like the molesting chaps of

tensions and thought I had ruined our chances. Good luck.

When I can say I'm sorry Johnny you're missing the boat today was

a bit of good luck for me we'll why I'm giving myself tomorrow I decided to get out

of here and leave the war behind I'm going to America on the need

a rule yes we'll be shipmates you might not all that's

a break from me let's have dinner together later what do you say you know last

night in Shanghai and all that she broke out me again I'll be up in

a few minutes I'm going to cable off put on in my room whenever you're ready I'll

be waiting for you.

Is there in Mr Howard Barclay vested here yes Miss roommate ten things.

Awfully. Awfully.

Though I know I'm not

you. Well the damsel in distress could come in at just

a minute. Haha I said.

I don't really have

a cigarette nothing you know I I wonder what happened to you did you come to thank

me you must forgive me for running away as I did while it wasn't exactly according

to Hoyle when I had no idea you were the person I was looking for

a father took. Looking for me I'm in trouble again

I don't tell me the dust but Desmond still F.T.

It's no joking matter I need your help that's why I'm here and I'd be glad to help

you if only to prove that chivalry still lives or something like that just because

of the segue I like to know why you select me as you're protected my brother told

me to come to you if I got in trouble your brother am I supposed to know his name

is Peter Roma. And part of me what do you know about Peter Rover this is

a girl I was telling you about you know the girl I say from

a fate worse than dead there's

a Mr Buffy. Stood by me how

stupid of me I'm going to Rome with this to be to Rome assisted who will

higher cause then your Irene Well let me have

a good look at you. Would you believe what I used to dangle on my knee when she was

a mere in from that I'd be all right about now upon

you just one of those incorrigible Irish Americans are His name is Johnny McGinty

and you couldn't tell them about

a chap you could have to do the picking yourself but I'm not here what's wrong

psychoses star goes on so it was Argos you locked

horns with.

For me a spot of brandy out of biology everything to becoming

a bit involved how come something that you've locked horns of one of the two most

dangerous man in China take one myself. Say that saw goes

one of the two most dangerous men to China was the other one

a natural question the other is forty Oklahoma Japan's number one military agent in

Shanghai but what Assad goes along with you my dear

I'll step out if you want or you can trust Johnny I mean I vouch for it besides you

may want to help allow help for more reasons than one thank you. Johnny or I don't

play All right Johnny that's better this is what they're

after this broken Ament is the key to five million dollars being held in sentences

come the money used to be used to help China. Quite

a sum the other half of that is incentive to skill and money will be turned over

only when this half is presented to the person who holds it extraordinary and I

wait

a minute lads and lassies this crap stopped business when I was again I think I may

be just a country boy from Peoria Illinois but after all I'm

a newspaper photographer and I've been around

a little bit when you start talking about broken amulets that have to be matched up

and five hundred dollars or less stuff belongs in the comics or less my paperback

call now let's get on the line with this thing or just get me this is no joke

Johnny A Nobody is trying to pull your leg I've been around

a bit myself and I believe it and I remain How did you get this. Well psycho the

founder Peter had

a Chinese plane down he was injured so I took his place I see and how did Peter get

into the money belongs to Highlands people it's being kept on deposit in San

Francisco for safety pylons cousin who is with the son company in that city has the

other half of the eminent Why didn't destroy something another going south well

that would be impossible to closely watched Why pick on your brother Johnny your

persistence is most embarrassing it was haunted on will give the Roma family

protection when the general fund to China in other ways he was their benefactors

his home was there as an early had he shared with the dollar I forget it but what I

don't get is what this Argos

a guy has asked if he isn't working for the Soviet Embassy my dear boy you

underestimate our worthy opponent of course he isn't with the Soviet embassy it

would make no difference if he was

a dear old sod goes or is always strictly for him self Well I get it now so I goes

against

a sketch it takes of the San Francisco gets five million dollars and keeps it for

so goes it your lightning fast Johnny The point is where do we go from here and

a very good point too since I have

a suspicion that we'll have more of them saga to contend with who does somebody

else know about it well possibly full of Yokohama you know there's very little

takes place without Yokohama being where of it and if he disapproves I don't expect

him to approve

a five million dollars to be used to China do you that's why I'm concerned about

him Johnny how do you know so much about him that's part of my business what is

your business. Do you mind if I keep it to myself for

a while Oh no not at all not at all and I'm sorry if I stepped on it dotes That's

quite all right Johnny As for you my dear you must leave Shanghai tomorrow morning

but I can I have no passports kind of start me don't wait one thing we can do is

take

a passport there's only one ship going out tomorrow night you morrow that's for American

refugees only Johnny is taking that and I have to be going on it myself through an

embassy criticism why don't you take the evidence for us I couldn't admit that it's

my responsibility but I do that Johnny if I thought of

a do any good believe me I wouldn't say want to renewable energy to send it out no

we've got to think of something else

Johnny are you married when you know of course not let me see your passport What is

this excellent

blend of now look able to get this this passport red Johnny McGinty and white I

would have no trouble even shanghaied if you were married to him that would make

you an American citizen and you could be off with us tomorrow but I couldn't do

that even if John

a great. To be fair to him this I sides want Don't be foolish My dear this is

urgent and necessary and I mean actual knowledge you can have

a no when you get to the States at least we'll get you up Mrs McGinty not dead and

you'll be joining show around the area to get it safely aboard ship and out of the

country but I don't know bucks John and you're both intelligent people not fools I

will work out the problem

a travel some way I left settled yesterday is over is it now for the amulet

I mean can carry it is too obvious so you take it Johnny already I put your luggage

I've got

a better idea we'll put the camera the camera Sure I'll take the back off and I can

put it right and then that's

a good idea Johnny of the last place they suspect all Shanghai knowledge Johnny

feels I'm dressed but out of camera and I think Santa let's get to work I'll have

another stiffened up here so dramatic when I don't think I can consummate how

you're going to pack I don't mind if I change my clothes day after all I'm getting

married the fellow doesn't get married every day all right all right but make it

fast we all know Aunt Jo be back in a second I will get

a back on me please said I just the right now it Johnny This is no time for quality

although I'm not planning to see you soon Mrs may get.

Them again pay why he's got the right name but I can't place the accent not

speaking yet when you don't have to with that signature and it doesn't understand

that you will go down steps and not have looked out

a car get in with no get in with God yet fly

landing away and come shoot oh Bingo just lie back might have won a know

a joke. But no you're not

bluffing to show that one of those outstanding chins Oh.

All right I'll.

Allow me.

Oh right over the beginning you want me for anything darling. Little baby would oh

how do you do it how do you do I'll be glad to see it in the lovely.

Not your fault it.

Because of

a campaign Yeah but it's still full of mine believe me but at the edge of the ship

they keep on going. With Mackenzie the last part of my comings assuming you will be

going to the fam show I understand what's the idea that me like this of you but I

come back this morning meeting apparently with the stress you want to cut through

with the rescue sure being impetuous is one of my failings How did you know my name

which I think I was old enough to drive a truck

a few up to forget about young woman but me she's. Young woman.

Oh that young woman was wearing I don't know I don't even know what name after you

left and I turn around she disappears on the light I want to know where she is now

what makes you think I'm lying to you follow me back to the hotel didn't trip you

know down when I'm not lying to you and I was sorry but I can't Jim in Friday and

said I'm lucky to have that ten in your hand I want to be

a catapult you up like an accordion pal I got time for them it's.

The last time I wanna know where she is so the last time I don't know she's gone

disappeared Saturday. We are.

Going on the go in the international system and come it's like those two I mean

jump in these chemical. Only diplomatic courtesy between Jupiter to be diplomatic

kind of to kind of hollow them allow you to retain your physique so sad. Come with

me please.

Thank you just about save my skin your skin and not pardon the interruption to

a life of no interest to me whatsoever. Melinda I take you to delight in causing

psychosis much embarrassment as possible. And other things to make it take. How did

you know my name this is being in an abandoned me is my business to know names

because of this to be

a problem at the moment I don't get your well. I am interested in knowing the

whereabouts of the young lady by the name of I mean Rama. And I wait

a minute if you think I'm going to go through that again you're. On. Your

college years. I just have an alarm going to Dallas best minute then. I thought it

in. Time out I know. I should not advise you to lie I'd be lying if I tell

a generation. Join us by. Me a spy now I'm just

a newspaper photographer

a. Place. Where

you get off getting. In on things. I would be happy if you permitted

me to offer

a word with her Go ahead. To do meet Miss Roman Total be advisable for you to avoid

her company at present as most dangerous government is usually known by the company

he keeps how do Americans say yes to the feather flock together and is explicit

enough the day.

Mr Barclay's room I'm sorry Mr Barkley is knocking staying at the hotel he just

checked out this checked out when did he leave

a forwarding address mandala. Never mind.

You know coming Westy is OK now can you stay dry. You know gala cutting and running

fast I thought that was just

a not amount more going on in this town now I find out there's plenty popping out

of the safest Shanghai for your journey into

a hotbed of the world's water system best you wanted twenty five percent job when

the don't ask any questions up at.

I mean I'm glad to see you were worried you would make it I was worried about you

too but what happened that's I don't know was taking me for I don't know I checked

out of this kind of an exceptionally tall and Japanese spawning

a lot of boogy Okayama holy smokes so that's another one boogeyman he wanted me to

stay away from you went to his one night I think of

a Granted we still have the I mean I stole

a show I had that with me all the data suckers all I had to do is reach out and

grab a good story is just

a happy gloom Yes this is what Chang whose home we are in he's going to perform

a marriage ceremony but will the embassy recognise Chinese What I don't worry

a lot of people have an illegal which I as an ordained minister so I'm go ahead and

tie the knot very is

a marriage certificate which I thought I had to sign as you know I signed it for

Johnny just to save time just an ordinary marriage certificate saying whose wedding

is this Go ahead we'll check over there Larry next That's right we're out of gas or

don't care or. Do you you're not are. This woman

in marriage which is you're an inch inch third through

a shoe or I don't want to interrupt will chime but could you make it

a bit faster please my English is clumsy can make faster if talk you need to tone

and understand and all I'm alone I'll tell you what to do Johnny go ahead with

Chang just make it short and sweet place for you and you don't really ration front

gate where food trucks are younger and your party are trying to show me into our

room we're trying to overthrow our total vote on Gori Go ahead say I do

Johnny he want you to promise to love honor and cherish that's about obey no or

very modern mother Oh I get it I do Arina show me in regard to energy reform or

you're too hard to vote on Cory I do my cornea Brazier card she got up and he got

a ring Johnny any kind of warning will do here take this one. I'll give it back to

Irene John in India and give the cheek when you launch in your car gee she was your

friend you are you to earn your hard to nurse Cherilyn turns around or I now turn

around sheer will harsh and wife you make you stop by for

a moment I thought you were going to forget that part of it now wait

a minute Johnny we've got to get to the embassy you have all this making

a joyous life may you enjoy your happiness together until the day you die why do

you have to bring that up come along Johnny thank you thank you very much we'll

check.

Congratulations good. And good wishes to you Mr McGuinty Thank you. All you have to

do it OK This passport for both of us so I'd like to make him do but I can't can't

look this up if you want to frame that marriage certificate is legitimate I have to

get in touch with showing but sure everything's on the up and up we were just

married one way Irene although I don't doubt that but in this room it is not

eligible to Mrs McGuinty here but this is big it is not eligible to enter the

country without

a passport and why not she's my wife doesn't that mean anything Evidently you've

spent so much time everywhere but in the United States McGuinty that you haven't

kept up with that slows Congress passed a law

a number of years ago ending the custom where

a foreign born woman who marries an American automatically becomes an American

citizen all the smokes this is certainly

a good time to find that out the only way misrule look at end of this is McGuinty

or your pardon Mr McGuinty could enter the United States is under the quota laws

and before I could issue of these a passport of the Knesset Well that's

a fine kettle of fish that's the reason we were married. And so I acknowledge all

this trouble Johnny that's all right I didn't mean it that way it's just that we've

planned this thing so carefully I'm out they bought me this was all your idea why

doesn't miss Roma when I beg your pardon Mrs McGinty they give us all the support.

That's a long story with

a passport issued by the Chinese office to. Of course and it's all settled

but how well so many questions on a well I guess you later well I've still got

a hotel room good think Irene back there and wait for me I'll be along shortly to

me

a favor please and wait until now the time of the passport it won't be long I promise

you that you know that guy is

a number one mystery man to me well we might as well be getting along to divide us

we now Mrs McGinty.

Yet let me. Johnny

you don't know how so I am that I got you in on this now Mrs May gives you mustn't

talk like that have you forgotten women married you know your troubles and my

troubles and vice versa although I will admit so far it's been mostly vice

a versa you sweet Johnny but I'm marriage didn't help at all it only put your life

into more danger and all regrets already had and I only married an hour think of

the scandal one of the neighbors say Mr Barclay was right you are entitled to four

dollar words.

You will take this to the Honorable Mr and Mrs John McGinty at the café you know

tell immediately.

I was going to ask you.

A refusal

that will serve

a purpose admirably you will have the bottom open that an explosive inserted so

that when the incense is burned in here it will make contact with the explosive

make certain of this and we're going to get it so that this is delivered with the.

I hope nothing has happened to him to Barclay No he's got as many lives as

a cat you know what is unfair a fellow like that lives to a ripe old age while

a cautious timid soul like Johnny McGinty meets with an early catastrophe. Well

it's a law in nature or something I'd hate to be

a little solicitude sweetheart you couldn't hate the thought as much as I do. That

Mr Buckley made. Yes you get to

Mrs McGuinty please Church thanks to pay as you know there was

a Mrs McGuinty told to bring here you give to Mrs McGuinty please thank you thank

you all.

But how does anyone know we're married and there was

a Chinese wall of Winchell at the keyhole I don't know and I'm not going to try to

figure it out open it.

Was that me. Me

a marriage be blessed with happiness and devotion lunch Sadly the old son of

a gun he's

a friend of mine I met him through Barclay but how I found out we were married is

beyond me Isn't it beautiful. It's all right you know that our first wedding

present I'll have to send him

a note of thanks. What is it why did you sense but. Oh

oh did you get it because then they got

a challenge or it was your passport my dear signed sealed and delivered are you

going to be with us tomorrow. I don't know how I'll ever thank you sear right

before your husband's eyes that's all right side you deserve it one so

self-conscious I kiss you myself said the like will thing where you get

a bunch at least Senator

a first wedding present but don't ask me how I knew we were married I told her she

was going to spend a night in his place sort of disappear until we get aboard

a little more old.

Thomas. The old of the city and of.

The thing I'm going to do I'm going to take some pictures. So that when I say.

Getting

a little matter of and I'm glad. To get out. A

new hiding place to the side of life again i'm some of the most inopportune times

the man could be trying to say. I know. A place where they insist.

But I dare. Say I'm

a lady inside and why child. Of

War That was

a pin. Hole I could put in. And

then I'm going to college to determine where I am I going to.

End up falling back when I get enough of this homey for

a while that's pretty much an experience with that sort of thing before. I'm on

a let's all get out of

a car way says. Witnessing

a preview of what's next won't be my trying to make you think of it.

You're going to come Johnny you know you get in trouble carrying guns into such

a post

a bomb they catch it. Like they catch sometimes I'm accountable and one of us that

had to put one on my stomach or fail.

Me much farther because. No we'll be there in a few minutes Erin Burnett about

a playmate.

But when we come right up and I will be trying to sound the alarm if you see any.

Well we made

a. Good evening Ali I'm glad you arrive safely Mr McGuinty this honorable

unbearable gentleman is one set laid in an essential wedding dress make

a token of my friendship for you has been very very handy do believe me handy skip

it please come in. Make

yourself comfortable thank you. Already late it is ready

a man sits in the now waiting you see right over the river in fact it's lonely this

house is

a twenty two foot tower launch below this room all ready to go that's just in case

something unforeseen happens I suppose you had the foresight to plan all this with

a capable assistance of our good friend one sadly. Mr

Bartlett he is here with many men follow me please.

Get out of the car.

Yamagata. Johnny thank you very much. Wind

River but we do now.

Battleships. Here are my Michelle saw type thing I think.

The name. Was on our trial and despite their promise

that. It was

a botched this was far too much like one of our suicide our best bet is try and

modernize our. The.

Thing is gone it's beginning to my place you can apply adaptability.

By adding

a virus that China come before. The

planet with

a map. Like another mother.

It's beginning to happen on

a big. Burst

on to Georgia and start going to Mars you have your credentials Oh yes I have

a cot plans from the embassy. Very good

and. I guess I think you'll find out I asked for somebody's daughter so she's my

wife. Yes three go right but then we can stay on board now

most times we did not expect passengers on tour tomorrow but if you go right.

On it has to become. Automatic with.

This room if I missed on this might be indeed. And if it is.

Thank you for the night and I am glad that so far I thought we'd never get on this

book I think we can all relax now in fact that's just what I intend to do I'll see

out like a cleaned up hat Wait

a minute how about Irene and me after all this malaise was just. Not raging name

only wasn't completely set my mind will come on it will straighten out some out.

Well that's enough. So that's all right. It's like oh man you're

getting out of yourself are you on the shuttle everything's thinks your mind if I

think of it I want to be

a moment No go ahead I'm not going any place. Some

time and. So they ever get tired.

Of me out of this mess. Will be on a later man. Now there's

a country boy in the bombardment of the only bombardment just the other thought I

was around enough out a baseball game never been to

a place you don't know if you missed it don't you worry Miss McGinty I'll see that

you don't miss anything and get there probably be too busy to see me still busy

using I'm crazy you think you're one of those major loggers may get

a job is what your state will come in the Dallas Times or sorry old man I didn't

realize I was truly private take the tape. Back you know it's too late now along I

read you must be deathly silence is

a matter of fact that means taking the lead. Hey let's celebrate

a little let's have

a couple of drinks till was the matter and grandpa came in handy Alan know

that I'm not the one up on

a damper on any celebration come. Up with these costs or I'll

celebrate the Friday night not the whole. I NEVER a good sign I think

a scotch any day when I hit you that really does something good.

So now it's getting or we're going to Starbuck. I notice you disregarded my warning

concerning this from my wella You see we had

a day to get married Knight couldn't very well leave them waiting at the all and

what do you want to remember that it was save yourselves

a most unpleasant scene if you give it to me once I'm afraid old man you have to

take it from us for something that is of course if you can find it now wait

As my Johnny nodded to Yokohama conjure in my hands don't you think

it would be to compliment you Mr McGuinty and I would loose how it's funny how many

a camera can they sometimes you have made it good for Mystic you should have handed

me the amulet as I requested it would have saved the young lady's life now I have

no alternative but she talking about my dear fellow it appears your life is the one

that needs saving at the moment I would love to have it in the amulet some place

else in the package perhaps you've always been such

a good guest of mystery Oklahoma you needn't worry about it you'll not get any

Let's. Put up your hands Mr Buckley.

see for yourself. Back in

that room all of you.

You took it you expect me to leave you without verifying the hiding place I did

not think you would.

You must have

a good reason for disclosing that hiding place mystery Obama I did. You

better not going. To reply I understand now why you are living on

a hiding place I deserve to get to room suddenly I regret to associate being forced

to such extremes but I had to take precautions against

a young lady should escape but the end of it will become usual with me now no doubt

going to show I thought you were standing with us you didn't know now what Mr

Barclay happens to be the first question you need military aged about at the moment

to buy ammunition with the funds I mean it was to release these more or less right

Johnny I'm sorry I could have told you before I do not feel too but it did but it

proves this to me.

Johnny there's nothing for you in China but trouble don't worry I'll talk to your

brother in my lung and I'll be saying you're brought up on technical right all.

address why don't you go with us that cablegram changes everything my idea so let's

hope the Chinese will find

a better use for them like that clover you know and anyway we eliminated Mrs August

believe me Johnny there's nothing in the world I love more it's been

a long time since I've seen the Statue of Liberty in fact it's been

a long time since I've seen liberty of any kind just how you feel I wonder

I thought prodigal son will come out of the minutes until he could return home only

to have the pluck suddenly stop Give my regards to the Golden Gate and all the rest

of America.

Well next stop America land of the fan that is Mickey Mouse and flat foot floating

with

a fly so I. Thought Heaven bless this land of my dead whose destiny

I wouldn't take advantage of your gallant gesture unmanned me John and I wait

a minute our marriage might have been

a gallant gesture but there's nothing in the books as we can make of the McCoy now
