No resting before the chest is inland, buried.

We've no time for wasting.

Onward, you wretched swine, onward.

Hurry up.

We need to get back to the ship before Maynard's men catch us.

I thought I smelled you, Maynard.

Officer Lieutenant Maynard.

You will show me that respect.

How's that for respect?

I'll be your own personal shoeshine boy.

You're in no position for jokes, Thatch.

Governor Spottswood wants your head.

I'm afraid he's going to have to wait,

for I'm still using it.

I was looking forward to more of a fight from you,

the merciless Blackbeard.

Use your head, Maynard.

Wherever I go, the Queen Anne's Revenge, she follows.

The crew is down the coast.

They'll be coming for me, and you, and your men.

Your men are all dead.

Lies!

We took care of them.

You're all alone, Thatch.

Listen closely.

The governor wants your head.

Ah.

That's sending a message to any other pirates out there.

Have mercy.

Perhaps we can make an arrangement.

You want to bargain?

Tell me where you and your men buried the gold,

and you're free to go.

The treasure, it's--

it's buried-- it's buried straight up your ass.

Any last words, Thatch?

You tell the governor I'll see him in hell.

We're not picking up a signal anymore.

They must be getting close.

Did Argus square everything away with Cordelia?

Yes.

All right.

We're going to do this or what?

I'm getting hangry.

Cordelia?

Cordelia?

Damn it, Cordelia.

Cordelia, over.

Hey.

Ugh.

Ketchup?

Really?

God damn it.

OK.

You must be the leader.

You are just some dude who needs a bath.

But who do we have here?

Oh.

Hi, boss lady.

I'm going to kick your ass later.

Oh, a package?

You shouldn't have.

So you are the asshole Dwayne and Hugo hired.

Holy shit.

I leave you alone for two minutes.

Who are these assholes?

They're a cult. They worship Quetzalcoatl.

Quetza-who-the-who?

Quetzalcoatl, the ancient god of knowledge.

Gemstone they were hunting for, its divine.

That's why they call it the Eye of Quetzalcoatl.

OK.

Well, the Eye, I think, just arrived outside.

There's a dude with a fancy case and they're probably next door.

- Did they speak English? - I don't know.

It sounded like gibberish.

It could be Nahuatl.

Only a fraction of them know it.

Well, I took the guys out of that building, OK?

And it looks like there's plenty outside, so we need to go.

Go, go, go, go, go. Come on.

Get up.

Come check this out.

That rock is worth $33 million?

Uh, we have an RPA with three definite wounded.

I couldn't get to Cordelia.

I don't trust her.

Quick, create a distraction.

What are you going to do?

You'll know when I do it.

33 years.

Here we are.

Let's just see.

Hold your fire!

Who the hell are you and what are you doing on my base?

I was in the area.

Who the hell are you?

Stand her up.

Whoa!

No!

Move your asses!

We've got to go!

Hop in!

How did you know, Cordelia?

You didn't say over.

Ha!

Classic.

Is that it?

Yeah.

You should see this baby.

It's beautiful.

Got 'em on my two.

What is that?

What do you need that for?

Bag of raw magnesium.

Burns extremely bright when lit.

Oh, yeah.

You just pick up a bag of shit and you're like,

oh, I might need this sometime.

Whoa!

Up, up!

This guy has a major anger issues.

Athena, do you have ammo?

Yeah, I got some. I can't get him.

We're going to have to do something different, guys.

This is not working.

We've gotta get cover.

We've gotta do it.

We're going to have to turn.

Athena, hang on.

What? Fine.

Just give it to me.

Here.

Go, go, go!

What the hell are you doing?

Magnesium burns extremely bright when lit.

How did you know that?

I saw it at base camp.

So you just grabbed some random shit?

I just figured whatever it was, we needed it.

What the-- what?

Cordelia!

Shit!

Everything checked out with Cordelia.

I'm sorry you had to go through that.

This is another mission we ended up

running into problems, Argus.

She had to be with the Order.

Your documents, sir.

Cordelia is independently contracted.

She's a neutral.

She doesn't pick sides.

Listen, Society has been around for centuries.

Our treasure hunters have uncovered some of history's

greatest mysteries.

You know that our reputation exceeds our discoveries.

You knew this when you took the oath.

What are you trying to say?

I don't know what they're planning,

but it's something big.

We've been infiltrated.

They have some of our agents in their pocket.

I don't know who to trust anymore.

Do you have any leads?

Cordelia proved to be reliable.

Maybe she went in business for herself.

There was nothing on her that was cause for any suspicion.

We have to watch how we carry on this conversation now.

She had to be with the Order.

I agree.

And there goes that.

Listen, I'm not trying to disappear,

and if you keep that up the same thing may happen to you.

They've already tried.

We're still here.

And they'll keep trying.

They're very persistent.

Listen, I don't know how much more I can

help you girls at this point.

What do you mean?

You are about all there is left.

Our resources are limited.

OK.

What do you have for us?

So?

This one's the real deal.

But it's risky.

Well, make it strong, because you put us

through hell in Mexico, Argus.

I second that.

I like risk.

You always seem to say that, Argus,

and then we get ourselves in these little situations.

Blackbeard?

Blackbeard?

No.

How the hell did you know that?

How did she know that?

What?

You did that in the desert, too.

Did what?

You zoned out, like you were catatonic or something.

You had a feeling to grab some random-ass fuses and magnesium.

That's not like you.

Uh, yeah, hi.

Can we discuss the assignment?

So you're right, it is Blackbeard's treasure.

We received a tip on its location.

For a legend that's over 300 years old,

this could be the biggest discovery in both your careers.

The swamplands are dangerous.

True.

What makes it worth it?

The source--

Mr. Muldare.

The Mr. Muldare?

He never directly tips anyone.

Well, he tipped off you two.

In fact, he even gave you a deadline.

He says that if the Sierra sisters are

as good as their reputation, they

should be able to find and secure Blackbeard's treasure

before the summer solstice.

That's in four days.

And you will have three days once you

get to your destination.

Your flight leaves first thing tomorrow.

What?

We have a flight to catch.

It's always an adventure with you, sis.

Athena.

Hi, Charlotte.

It's always a pleasure to see you two.

Well, I love this place.

It's beautiful.

Thank you.

How old is this one?

He's 15.

One of our finest.

Took me a while to hunt this down.

Pre-19th century?

It's not much, but it should give you what you need.

And our library, of course, is always open to Society members.

Especially the Sierra sisters.

Thanks, Charlotte.

I'll, uh, be here if you need anything.

Thanks, Charlotte.

It was nice to meet you.

Good to meet you, too.

Collective unconscious is the key to Jung's theories

of the mind.

Personal unconscious--

Any luck yet?

Uh, yeah.

Um, so the river treks all the way to the oceanfront right

here, but legend has it there was a storm coming in that day.

So what's that tell us?

Well, from what I've researched, anything this way,

Blackbeard wouldn't have attempted.

Blackbeard wouldn't have traveled

too far inland, considering the bounty on his head.

My guess would be he would have traveled

upstream, this area here.

Where the river splits, right here.

Mm, yeah.

But if it were me, that's just too obvious.

He was smart and knew time wasn't on his side.

But you know what gets me?

If you look at this map, everything north of here,

it's very treacherous.

There's no way you can walk through this.

OK.

So south.

But not too far south, because of the storm.

This treasure had to be in a place

where he could have easily buried it.

And also, we need to be looking for something like a--

a symbol, something that--

a shelter that he could have hid the treasure under, so--

to protect it from the elements. - OK.

Let me take a look at this for just a second.

What do you see?

Look at this right here.

What's that?

Right there. Wait a minute.

Let me see this.

If this area was urbanized, that would mean--

East.

Yes.

A single night's journey.

And he would have gone far enough

inland to avoid the storm.

Mm-hmm.

Also a place where he could have easily buried it.

And he would have buried it somewhere that would have been

able to stand the test of time.

Exactly.

Yeah.

Excuse me, ladies.

Your ride is waiting.

OK, Charlotte.

Thank you.

Follow this road for a couple miles,

and the tavern should be on the left.

The answers will show.

I like this song.

Can you turn it up?

The treasure, it hides.

Hey, watch for deer, OK?

Within your soul.

You've just got to believe that you've finally--

You weep.

You got what you wanted.

Aye.

Too much.

You wanted this.

You wanted to know.

I know too much.

Perhaps you are not strong enough, not wise enough.

You are not the one.

I know.

Will she be wise enough?

Time will tell.

I don't understand.

That is the pain you feel.

You know, but don't understand.

I know the end will be soon.

For you, yes.

There's nothing I can do?

Your part is done.

Will it be painful?

Only briefly.

Can it be stopped?

That is beyond your sight.

In her possession, maybe.

You must go now.

Travel well.

I know why you're here.

I know why you've come.

Make it quick.

You've just got to believe

that you've finally found it.

What is this place?

Navigating the Virginia swamp on foot

is nearly impossible, which means we're going to need

someone to take us upriver.

That's got to be them.

Oh, god.

There's two of them.

They're ladies.

Captain Howard?

Captain Howard, we spoke earlier on the phone.

I'm Hera.

Have a seat.

This be my first mate, and my nephew, Fletcher.

Hey.

You girls here because you need a boat?

Correct.

Well, I suppose that, uh, you have cash to cover

for this little excursion?

Yeah, I think we can help you out.

We need somebody to take us upriver.

Why do you want to travel upriver?

There's nothing up there but a bunch of swamp and--

and more swamps.

What does that matter?

Are you going to take us or not?

It's not an ideal tourist destination.

We're not on vacation.

This is a business trip.

Well, going upriver requires some skill.

If I'm going to put my boat at risk,

then I need to know what it's for.

We believe we know how to find Blackbeard's treasure.

Blackbeard's treasure.

That is rich.

I'll drink to that. - Yeah.

Oh, man.

I mean, Blackbeard?

Like, arr, matey!

Yeah, that one.

So you want to spend your money chasing

after some local legend?

It's never been found, and we believe

we know how to get to it.

So you two are serious?

Why not?

Fletcher, go fire her up.

You head on down there, take care of it, all right?

All right. We'll be there.

Oops. It's OK.

I told you.

Whoa.

We drank so much today.

I hope you two girls know what you're doing.

One for the road?

Yeah, sure, why not?

It's an old family recipe.

It's been in my family for over 300 years.

It's from the pirate days.

It's called spiced rum.

It's pretty good. Yeah.

Made it in the basement. - To adventure.

To adventure.

Ah.

Oh, my.

All right, then.

All right, girls.

Talk to you in a little bit.

And uh, don't take any wooden nickels.

Yeah.

I'm curious, girls.

What's the plan here?

I mean I don't suppose that map has a big red X on it, right?

This isn't Hollywood.

Our benefactor gave us a general tip on the area

that Blackbeard was ambushed.

So we narrow it down and triangulate.

Yeah, we'll see what good that does.

Dying doesn't mean much if he didn't

have the treasure with him.

Well, in 1718, Blackbeard was ambushed

by Governor Spotswood's men.

This means that it happened inland.

Blackbeard was well-documented keeping his treasure with him

up until the moment of his death.

So it's safe to assume that before he was killed,

he buried his treasure.

Very good.

I have my moments.

I still don't see how that helps.

But he died in the swamps, though, right?

Yeah, that's correct.

I don't know if you girls have noticed,

but there's a lot of swamp in this part of the country.

How are you going to narrow that down?

Because he didn't bury it in the swamp.

You just said he did.

No.

I said Blackbeard died in the swamp,

but I have a hypothesis that he buried it somewhere else.

How do you figure?

Because a swamp is a terrible place to bury something.

You have inconsistent ground, rapidly growing plant life,

constantly shifting water levels, and the ground itself

is a giant mud pie prone to sliding,

which can literally change the landscape.

OK, OK, OK, OK.

Basically, if Blackbeard was smart--

and I believe he was--

would have known this and buried his treasure somewhere

he could trace, and then come back to.

This is most likely to be where Blackbeard was killed,

which means his treasure cannot be any more

than a single night's travel.

And if we look here, about a mile west,

we see that the swamp area dries out into more of a wooded area.

And then if we look at the authentic map

from the 18th century, we can see

that this wooded area has more or less

remained unchanged since then.

All right.

Well, we get a cut of it when we find it, right?

I'm afraid not.

Of course, we don't either.

What good is the finding of treasure if you can't keep it?

You two girls want to take the high ground, more power to you.

But uh, I have to question seriously how you're

getting all these resources.

Because from your description, it

didn't sound that profitable.

Who said it was just the two of us?

We are members of the

The Free Society of Treasure Hunters.

Basically, we help find missing

treasure and artifacts for museums

and certain benefactors.

And we get a pretty little plaque with our name on it.

Well, if I may ask, uh, who gave you this tip?

Well, we like to keep our clients strictly confidential.

Our work comes with certain occupational hazards.

That's enough with the questions, OK?

Well--

Hey, are you hungry?

You hungry?

Sun's going down.

It's going to be dark out here in about an hour,

and we're coming up on the spot where

you think he was murdered.

Get down!

Get down.

Who the hell's shooting at us?

It's our occupational hazards.

You OK?

Hang in there.

The engine quit.

Stay down.

You sure about that?

It's going to hurt, OK?

I'm trying.

All right, all right, all right.

Is he OK, Athena? I think it stopped.

I think it stopped.

OK. Stay down.

Goddamn it.

Who the hell was shooting at us?

I don't know.

I had a vision.

A vision?

I don't know, I saw it.

I saw somebody was going to shoot at us.

Occupational hazards.

For you, not for us.

Are they gone?

You see anything, Athena?

No, it stopped.

Fletch, sit down for a minute, will you?

Yeah, I need to rest here for a second.

Yeah, I got it, man.

Take it easy.

All right.

Feeling a little bit run down.

This is looking pretty bad.

We're going to need to get you some help very soon.

He'll be OK.

He's had worse.

It was just a ricochet.

I'll be fine.

Is this-- is it gonna--

It's very sensitive

right now, so just be careful.

Can we speed this boat up any faster, so we can get him help?

I'm going as fast as I can.

We'll get you there safe.

He's your uncle.

Yeah.

My responsibility, too, and you guys didn't help with that.

All right.

Can you stop, Hera?

Keep a lookout, please.

All right.

The cove is coming up soon.

We're going to be there any minute,

so keep her straight for now.

In about five minutes, take her to the left and beach her.

Hera, keep a close eye.

Make sure there's nobody up here.

Did you hear that?

Thanks, Fletcher.

Just get better, man.

Athena, did you hear that?

I don't know what I'd do if I'd lose you.

You're a good man.

Listen.

Wail till we stop, ladies.

All right.

Pull her up.

You guys got to learn something while you're out here.

Very funny, Fletcher.

Any progress?

This treasure should be about one night's journey from here.

Yeah, well, that's assuming that those Order fellas

don't catch up with us first.

Why don't you just have one of your psychic visions guide

the way?

It isn't a psychic phenomena.

I believe I'm tapping into some form of collective unconscious.

What is that?

Carl Jung theorized that human beings

have a shared cerebral core.

It's why you see the same ideas repeat

across different societies and cultures around the world.

But others have theorized on this concept,

and believe it delves deeper into the realm

of the supernatural.

Supernatural?

There's a belief that human beings share a spiritual core.

What one human knows, all humans can know.

Kind of like a human internet.

That's too much, man.

I mean, treasures and secret societies--

but magic, I cannot wrap my head around.

It's not magic.

Oh, spare us another lecture, professor.

At least she can think, which is more

than I can say for some people.

You know, with the thickness

of the swamp and the night's cover,

I don't think they're going to find us anytime soon.

You tell us who that was

and what this was all about?

We told you our job came with risks.

Risk? No.

Falling off the boat when my uncle starts it

and I'm not holding on, that's a risk.

Not getting shot at.

We should tell them.

We can't.

You can't or you won't?

You know that saying, if I tell you something,

I'm going to have to kill you?

Well, they take that pretty seriously.

It's the Order of the Iron King, OK?

Athena!

What?

They're grown-ass men.

If they want to put themselves in danger, let them.

So who exactly is the Order?

Are they, uh, treasure hunters, like you?

No, not like us.

The Order's been around for centuries.

We've had to deal with them before.

And you're just telling us about this now?

The Order is a secretive group.

Their whole foundation is one of murder and violence.

They have eyes and ears everywhere.

Even mentioning their very existence

could be enough to sign your death warrant.

On the river, right before they started shooting at us,

you told us all to get down.

Almost like you knew they were going to attack us.

Yeah.

That's been an ongoing thing with you recently.

Care to enlighten us?

All right, look.

It's the Eye of Quetzalcoatl.

When I first touched it, it changed something in me.

How do you mean?

I get these flashes of things other people know,

kind of like visions.

Like the--

Like the magnesium and the ambush on the river.

These are all things that I saw or learned, as if they came

from someone else's memory.

I can't explain it.

You think I'm crazy, don't you?

Well, yeah.

But that's nothing new.

You're my sister, Hera.

You can trust me, OK?

So you guys are actually serious, huh?

Is that what you're saying?

I'm saying theoretically, there's an unknown force that

stores the memories of humanity, and somehow

I'm able to voluntarily access it

and see the memories of others.

Um, all righty then.

You know, that's an awful lot to absorb

in a very short amount of time.

I mean, Iron King, secret groups, visions.

I sure wish I had me a flask, because I'd

have a drink right about now.

I'll tell you what I'm going to do

is I'm going to have this drink, then I'm

going to clean this wound, and then

I'm going to get some shuteye.

Good idea.

Oh, smooth.

I'm going to go ahead and crash out.

I'm not going to be able to sleep knowing someone

is out here watching us.

I'll take first watch.

Thanks, Fletch.

Do you think it's them?

I don't know.

Lama?

Yes, young one?

I'm here to ask of your wisdom.

My wisdom?

Your ability to see.

Oh.

So that is what you seek.

You know what others do not.

I desire--

Desire is a poison to the mind.

It causes those to act against their will.

Forgive me.

I--

You wish to learn?

I wish to learn.

That is appropriate, as I am already in a lesson.

Lesson?

Lama, I do not understand.

You would not.

Not yet.

This lesson is not for you.

It is for the one who watches us.

Lama?

Many moons from now, in a place far from here,

there will be a man who will desire more than all others.

He will crave wealth and power and immortality.

He will spread suffering and death all across our world.

What can I do?

Teach.

Teach?

Teach the one who may be able to stop him.

Who is it?

How do we teach him?

She is not yet born.

We will both be in eternal sleep before her birth.

Then how do we teach her?

We already are.

What are those markings?

The first set is by someone whose name I will never know

and whose name I will never hear.

The second set in a language yet to be spoken.

They mean nothing to me, but to our student,

they mean the difference between life and death.

They mean the difference between life and death.

We need to take advantage of our time.

The further we get back, the more rugged

the terrain is going to become.

Maybe we should wait.

Why?

Yesterday you just said we're only

a few hours from the treasure.

Let's go.

No, I just think that, um--

What, you need to have another psychic vision?

No, I'm over this.

Let's go.

Come on.

I want to observe the swamp some more.

Really, is that so--

What's the note say?

I don't know.

I haven't been able to decode it.

What's the note say, Hera?

It says there's a traitor among us.

Why didn't you tell me this sooner?

Because there's only four of us,

and we need all the resources that we can get right now.

But wait.

So you don't trust me, do you?

I just--

I don't know what to believe anymore, you know?

I just can't explain any of this.

Besides, I don't expect you to trust me.

I don't understand why you don't trust me.

We've been doing this for a very,

very long time together, Hera.

I know.

You need to talk to me.

I don't know what's going on right now.

I mean, I just--

I can't explain any of this.

I mean-- besides, I don't expect you to understand me.

Good, because I don't.

Considering all the betrayal that we've dealt with recently,

I decided to err on the side of caution.

Besides, you heard Argus--

the Order is buying off members of the Society left and right.

And you thought I'd sell out?

This-- this doesn't mean anything to you.

All we have left of Dad?

That's how you respect him, his memory?

Spare me the lecture, Hera.

Look, sis, there's things at play

here that you just don't understand.

How do we even know we can trust that note?

Whoever delivered it knew the risk to get it to us.

And besides, you said it yourself.

These trees-- nobody can get through these trees at night.

Maybe they want us all turning on each other.

Seems to be working, right?

I don't think it's that simple.

Here's a thought.

Maybe you're the traitor among us.

What?

If I was the traitor, why would I tell us that there's

a traitor among us?

I don't know, maybe this eye of crap--

queso-- queso cat nipples or whatever you call it

got you turned all evil, huh?

Your sister forced you to tell us what it said.

What are you talking about?

Yeah.

Maybe-- maybe you're not-- you're

just being paid off by someone.

Someone from this Order, huh?

Maybe you're being paid off, or maybe

Athena thinks that your benefactor

is still paying you, huh?

Only for you to slice her throat as soon as you get the chance.

Maybe you're making all this up in your head, huh?

That's how you're so sure of all these attacks and their Order,

huh?

Oi.

Why don't you just admit it, huh?

Back off, OK?

I know my sister and she wouldn't

hurt me or anybody else.

Fletcher, why don't you do me and all of us a favor?

Sit down and shut up.

Wait.

I'm sorry.

Are you OK?

I'm-- I'm all right.

Just-- just go.

I'll catch up with you.

I got-- I gotta get my vest.

What is going on with that kid?

Wait!

What is this?

It's a tracker.

Yeah.

Thought you said that went missing.

Anything to keep you off my trail.

Fletcher, why?

Why?

Oh, Uncle, if you only knew how much they were offering me,

you wouldn't need to ask why.

As a matter of fact, let me introduce you.

We meet again.

Cordelia.

Sierras.

You have some guts coming here after what you did to us.

Hugo?

Hey.

Dwayne?

What's the matter?

You look like you've seen a ghost.

Somebody mind telling me what the hell is going on here?

I'm making a career change.

They told me about the Order, secret society.

That's the life for me.

I want in.

They told you about it, huh?

Never took you girls as ones to break the rules of Society.

We'll keep that in mind, jackass.

I thought he was dead.

You know the drill.

We point guns, you take us to the treasure.

You know that didn't work out last time so well, did it?

No, it didn't.

But you know the old saying, try, try again.

I can help you find the treasure.

How do you figure?

When we were on the boat, they were going over the map.

Said there was a dry wooded area just to the west of us.

Said that's where he would have buried it.

They said that?

Yep.

You know, Fletcher, you might be a valuable asset

to the Order after all.

Let's call this an open initiation.

Kill the old man.

What?

The Order spares no room for weakness.

He's dead weight.

Kill him.

You hold on there for a second, mister.

Fletcher is my kin.

I was there when he was born.

I practically raised him.

If you think he's going to shoot me--

Fletcher, you son of a bitch!

William!

William.

Welcome to the family.

What the hell?

You're breaking protocol.

What did you think you were joining, the circus?

Not this.

I'm sorry.

It won't happen again.

You're really messed up.

Let's move.

Let's move!

As I said, the Order spares no room for weakness.

So how do you and the girls know each other?

Tracking down Red-Hand Hannity.

The one with the attitude threw me off a cliff.

Remind me to find a taller cliff next time.

How did he survive that fall, anyway?

I have a funny way of escaping death.

So do we.

You sure do.

I'm sorry for not trusting you earlier.

This is really cute.

Let's go.

Keep the barrel up.

Both of these girls slipped me once.

I'm not going to let it happen again.

Watch out through here.

I said watch your step, jackass.

Looks like a friend of yours.

Yeah, that's one of the originals.

We've been looking for Blackbeard's gold for ages.

Where to, Hera?

We don't know.

We only know the general area.

Why don't you use your magic?

Magic?

Yeah.

She said she gets visions or something.

Is that true?

Is that true?

That's how she knew about the tracker and the ambush.

Ambush?

You didn't?

Yeah, of course.

Why would I order an ambush if we need them to take

us to the treasure, genius?

If he didn't order an ambush, then who did?

Who cares?

Houdini, show me that magic trick of yours.

It's not a desk lamp.

I can't turn it off and on.

It only lets me know what someone else knows,

so if no one else knows where the treasure is,

I won't either.

You've got ten seconds to show me.

Otherwise, you're going to be an only child.

10, 9--

OK!

8--

OK!

7, 6, 5, 4--

You seek that which has been hidden from the world.

Why do you hesitate?

Do you not have faith?

But I don't know where.

But you know how.

You are part of all knowledge.

All is one.

If you choose to, it is a blessing.

It is a curse.

Where did you two come from?

We go where those who know go.

Those who know?

You're manifestations of the collective unconscious.

So blind.

So clear.

Shall we test her?

I know your names.

She knows what others do not.

You're Hugin, and you're Munin.

Odin's ravens, following the Eye of Odin.

Your names come from the Eddas of Norse mythology.

She knows.

Lama?

The hardest lesson we have to learn.

Learn-- learn what?

Possessing the pieces of a puzzle is only half.

You must learn to place them together.

It is then you will be as confused

as a person who has none.

You're saying even with the depth of human knowledge,

the most important piece we have is our ability to reason.

I possess the pieces.

I just-- I need to put them together.

Not yet.

There is one other final clue.

How can I trust you?

You're working with the Order.

Not all who bear this mark serve the Iron King.

You have allies hidden in plain sight.

Remember, as I have risen, things can be buried

can be unburied.

Your past journeys will reveal the clue

to salvation. Salvation, salvation,

salvation, salvation, salvation.

3--

It's a tree, 200 yards north of here.

A tree doesn't narrow it down.

I'll show you!

You're going to have to give me something--

I'll show you.

Just stop pointing a gun at my sister.

Thank you.

All right.

Let's move.

Let's move!

This is it.

How do you know?

Edward Thatch.

Edward Thatch was Blackbeard's real name.

Dig under this tree and you'll find your treasure.

Great.

Start digging.

Watch these girls.

Make sure they don't pull anything clever.

What's the plan?

Just trust me.

What else is in there?

Just dirt.

It's an old pirate's code.

I can translate it if you give me something to write with.

What's it say?

It says, "If treasure you seek and none be in sight,

all will be revealed under fire's light."

Fire's light?

Magnesium!

What did the note say?

It was directions.

It said 40 paces west--

OK.

80 paces south.

OK.

I'm going to create a distraction.

I need you to go get the gold, OK?

OK.

Oh, yeah.

Oh.

You know, I had a real tough time killing my uncle,

but I'm gonna have a real easy time killing you.

Come on, get up.

Come on.

I said, get up!

You--

She is not yet born.

It is in a language yet to be spoken.

Mr. Muldare was very impressed with your performance.

Your reputation precedes you.

So what happens next?

Time will tell.

We ran into one of Mr. Muldare's associates

in Virginia.

He's planning something, something big.

Ladies, congratulations on your discoveries.

Thank you.

I don't know what to say.

All I know--

Hera?

What's going on?

Hera's just having one of her Aztec god brainwaves.

Ah!

Really, Hera?

This was not in the job description.

Hera, what are you doing?

The Aztec god drinks that?

What are you looking for, Hera?

Hera?

What is this?

I've never seen that bottle before.

Philip IV.

Look, there's something inside.

1307.

Here, let me open it.

Here.

Philip IV was King of France in the 14th century.

He was responsible for arresting and causing the downfall

of the Knights Templar.

Philip IV also betrayed the Templar on Friday

the 13th of October in 1307.

Interesting.

No one ever comes down here.

I-- I recognize this.

It's a Rosicrucian cipher.

Can you decode it?

Yeah.

Give me a pen.

Take the road and move ahead.

Don't look back, the answers will show.

The horizon looks so wide, so bright,

just like your heart that beats your soul, whoa.

How many times have you tried?

How many times have you lost, searching hard to find it?

The treasure kept on hiding, kept on hiding.

How many times have you lost?

How many times have you hated being

fairly unfaithful in this world, and finally on your knees

in prayer?

The treasure, it hides within your soul.

You've just got to believe that you've finally found what

you've searched for so long.

It's all for real.

It's in front of your eyes as you've always dreamt it.

The treasure, it hides within your soul.

You've just got to believe that you've finally found what

you've searched for so long.

It's all for real.

It's in front of your eyes as you've always dreamt it.
