Nan Xi.

Nan Xi.

Are you ready?

Let's go.

Good morning grandma!

Is breakfast ready?

It's downstairs.

I'm going to have breakfast!

She's really grown up now.

Good morning grandpa!

Slow down, slow down, slow down.

Hot! Hot! Be careful.

Isn't it the nine o'clock train?

What's the hurry?

Today is Monday

Nan Xi said there might be a traffic jam.

Rui Rui.

Your mother is calling again.

Is it really unnecessary to send you off?

This girl is all grown up, can't make her stay anymore.

This is mom's friend at Binhai

Uncle Wang's business card

At Binhai, no matter what you encounter

you can find Uncle Wang.

- He will try his best to help you. - Okay.

You've never left home.

If you can't get used to staying in the school dormitory,

it's okay.

Do not force yourself. Okay?

Okay.

It's late. Get in the car.

Mom. If you miss me, call me.

Video call is also fine.

Okay.

I am leaving.

Go.

After three months I'll come back after winter vacation.

Alright, alright.

Okay, okay, okay.

Good, good, good.

I'm leaving.

Once you're gone no one will complain to me anymore.

Me, my life will be better.

Stop watching your idol drama. Don't get caught.

Okay, okay, okay Don't worry.

Xia Rui, Have a round with grandpa.

Let's go.

One, Two, Three, Four

- It'll hurt, be gentle. - Five. Six. Seven.

You learn this fast. Taxi is here.

- Grandpa. - Nan Xi!

- Grandma. - Nan Xi.

This young man is so handsome.

We'll be leaving then.

Let me do it.

She is strong, let her take it.

I'm definitely not his favorite.

- Please consider calling home every night. - Yes.

I know, I know. How many times have you said it.

Hurry up and leave.

Go back inside quickly, goodbye.

[Episode 16] [A new beginning]

I, Xia Rui am back again!

I... back!

No, it's I'm back.

Nan Xi.

This... What is the purpose of language communication?

- What is it? - To communicate.

Then, what is the point of communication?

What is it?

To understand what we express to each other

and to avoid misunderstanding, right?

That's right.

So when I said I back Did you understand what I said?

I understood. Then I... back

I am back Am back

When I express these, does it make any difference?

There seems to be no difference.

Well, that's it then!

The grammar is wrong.

Grammar is only important for the exam.

But we are now at the start of classes

Not sitting for an exam.

- But if we're talking about English exam... - Nan Xi

It's the first day of school. Relax.

Binhai University, I coming.

It's I'm coming.

I ran over as soon as I received your call.

Why haven't you checked in?

I'm done, but Nan Xi hasn't yet.

What is Chubby Cheng doing?

He told us to wait here so he'll help us with luggage?

We waited the whole day, but he's nowhere to be seen.

He's already gone missing and escaped on the first day of school?

He probably hasn't finished training.

But their basketball club is also insane.

Morning exercise on the first day of school.

Ruined our first train traveling plan coming here.

I even bought playing cards!

What a waste! You even have to change your booking.

- I'm furious! - It's okay.

Isn't he scared of taking the night train alone?

I kept him company.

Moreover, we have plenty of time to travel together.

- Just keep the cards first, okay? - Okay then.

Are you busy later?

No. Just waiting for Cheng ErLuo.

Then you keep Nan Xi company here.

I need to get him registered. It's so crowded there.

I feel confused just looking at it It'll be fine.

Let's go together.

Listen to me, stay here obediently.

I'll be right back. Be good.

Alright.

Here, give him some information.

Next. Student. That student. I'm sorry.

Hello, what is your name? I'm helping a friend.

It's Nan Xi.

Nan Xi?

Are you Nan Xi?

The double first-place Nan Xi from our professional culture class.

- No, no no. -That's not right, Nan Xi?

It's a guy, why is this a girl?

No, no. I'm his friend and I am helping him out.

Then, what is your relationship with Nan Xi?

Didn't I say it? We're friends.

Just leave Nan Xi's affairs to me in the future.

Leave everything to you?

Yes, what I mean is I help him.

Sure, no problem, I understand.

Then, here is the information.

Please help him keep it.

No, wait. Teacher...

It's ok, we've been through it.

Senior understands. Okay.

Next.

Sure enough, university is different from high school.

But how can these people be so gossipy?

It's just as the saying goes

from the end of puppy love to marriage

it's something that happens over high school summer vacation.

Sinister people.

I need to bring Nan Xi to take pictures after lunch.

And stick the pictures here after taking them.

Then our Nan Xi will be the best looking boy in this campus.

Okay everyone!

The one standing next to me

has already been popular in our school forum during the art exam.

The prettiest freshman Zhao Yishu.

And the one next to her

is the first place in our school's architectural professional culture

Nan Xi!

This is so unexpected.

These two are the talented and the beauty. A match made in heaven!

Don't talk nonsense. What? Don't talk nonsense, okay?

Then can I please ask both of you what is your relationship?

Look at this camera. What is the matter? What are you doing?

Stop shooting.

This student Do you know, what are you doing in broad daylight?

You are infringing on a reporter's independent interview right. Do you know that?

This student, You are violating the privacy of the interviewee.

You secretly take pictures, distort facts and spread rumours.

What kind of reporter are you? Go away!

Panghu Look! She deleted all the videos!

I will definitely give you a decent funeral.

Next time before you take someone's picture please inform them first, get it?

Everyone please comment. It took me the whole morning to shoot.

- She deleted it and asked us to leave. - That's right.

Why did you drop my oil cake?

You give it back, you compensate!

Please control yourself. Which college are you from? So barbaric.

None of your business. Freshmen.

Welcome everyone to Binhai University.

Shu, are you alright?

This person... Who is this person?

You don't even know him? This is senior SiBo.

I think you guys owe them an apology.

But, senior we are from the press team.

You are from the press club?

We are

I remember the reporters from Binhai University press team

when taking portrait photos

they get consent of the party involved.

If you guys are interested in joining them

shouldn't you guys first understand their rules and regulations?

Just apologise.

Sorry.

Well, I shouldn't shoot without your consent.

- And? - What else?

Also, they are couple.

We shouldn't jump to conclusions

and promote Shu as Nan Xi's girlfriend.

Shu and Nan Xi?

This student are you here to be funny?

That's it.

Everyone is from the School of Architecture.

And will meet in the future.

Let bygones be bygones.

Just let it go.

Why did the School of Artitecture recruit such people?

Which college are you from then?

- I -- - This is my boss

ChengHua Middle School First Lady, Xia Rui.

Next time if you see her around call her 'Brother Rui'.

There's nothing to lose.

So, is it sister or brother?

Enough! Everyone go back.

It'll busy in the beginning of semester.

Just leave.

Xia Rui. Don't blame them.

I'm fine.

But when I face you guys I can't say three words.

This is so not me.

- Please remember. You are the most unique. - Exactly.

Why are you more sensitive after attending university?

It's okay.

Yeah, why did I suddenly become sensitive?

-It's okay, university is wonderful. - Exactly. Ignore them.

Quick, let me introduce you.

This is a Class Four Senior, Senior Lu SiBo

From the same department as Nan Xi

and the captain of our basketball team.

I am stepping down this year.

Nice to meet you in the final year of university.

Why does this senior look so familiar?

- Where... - Where did I see him?

We should have met during your Art Exam.

Yes. During Art Exam at the school gate, right?

Nice to see you... you guys again.

Okay. I have something else. Let me deal with it first.

Nan Xi. I've seen your entrance exam.

I really admire your talent.

If you need anything at our college next time, find me anytime.

I'll take my leave now.

- Goodbye, senior. - See you.

Haven't you been to the dorm yet?

There's not enough time with the situation just now.

I say I don't know how is it like at the girl's dormitory

But our male dormitory the scent of man is a bit strong.

I'm ready.

How strong? H-how strong is it?

Nan Xi I don't know if he'll get used to it.

Shu This is the letter from our dormitory.

Later just put the box back into the dormitory with ErLuo, okay?

I have to accompany Nan Xi to see his dormitory

I'm so worried. It's okay I can do it myself.

- Be obedient, I'll accompany you today. Put on your bag. - It'll be fine.

Be obedient. Quick.

Put on your bag, let's go. Bye.

- Bye Bye. - Bye Bye.

-Give me. - I'll take it.

Are you listening to me?

Let's go, I'll take it.

Binhai University.

Hello student!

This is nice.

I didn't expect to meet the famous guy from your college the first day of school.

But what the reporter said was right.

You are the new male idol. He's the senior idol.

If this senior Lu looks after you in college in the future I be can rest assured.

You don't know all the girls looked at me when I shouted your name.

The true radiance of our Woodie.

It is impossible to flinch from you.

Oh.

Other than Oh and Ohm

Can you say something else?

Yes.

- You're making me angry on purpose, right? - Oh.

- You still said that. - Oh.

- You're asking for it, right? - Oh

I realised once you entered university

your true colours are showing.

You better not pick up bad habits from others, do you know that?

Will it have a bad influence?

Bike, bike, bike.

Quick.

Look at how wonderful university life is.

I must give up on my old mentality.

I need to become an ambitious and progressive college student.

What else can you improve on?

I wish to improve this.

You've been bad, too. I haven't.

Look at this university. There are all kinds of people here.

No one will pay attention to you all the time.

You need to learn how to relax, okay?

Relax.

Okay.

I saw the anime club over there just now.

And also basketball club

And also there is this Silence Club.

Silence club It really suits you.

Tailored for you. Don't even think about it. I will not go.

Definitely not. Of course I know you won't go.

I'm just thinking about how wonderful university life is.

Without LaoHu's and ShaoZong's control.

I can freely do anything I want.

I need to cherish these four years that were so hard to win.

Is this the same university life as we imagined?

The university life I imagined?

It's... you.

There's you.

And then?

Nothing else.

That's it? That's it.

Okay.

I know you treat me Xiarui, the best.

Don't worry. As long as I'm here I will make sure your university life

even better, more wonderful A thousand times more beautiful.

Ten thousand times more, A billion times. Ten billion times.

One hundred billion times. How about it?

I believe that.

But isn't our college too far away from here?

Our canteen seems to be quite close.

How about taking a walk here everytime after meal?

We can also ride bicycles just like them.

We can ride everyday.

-Really? - Yes.

I cannot wait.

I'm so happy! Are you happy? - Yes.

Do you want to go to university quickly?

We are already in university.

Oh that's right.

Step aside.

Step aside, step aside, step aside.

Step aside, step aside.

Step aside.

Step aside, please step aside.

Faster, kill it.

Faster kill it.

- Left. -Fast, fast, faster!

Faster! Step aside!

Quick quick! Here, step aside!

Step aside! What are you doing?

Don't move.

Stop it!

Nanxi

Excuse us.

No way.

Absolutely not.

No, no, no.

Think about what your two roommates are.

A paparazzi with no bottom line. And another one,

wants to have a funeral for his oil cake that fell on the floor Is he Lin DaiYu?

No, no.

Also please think about the living environment.

I feel like I'll pass out if I take in two more breaths.

No, no, really no.

Yes, cannot.

A quadruple room with only two in there.

The other two beds are empty, what does that mean?

It means that the other two got scared away by them, too.

Your major is so strong.

Why are all the recruits weird?

Weird major.

You... you are a genius. You're a genius, okay?

You're different.

What about this?

I'll move in to stay with you.

My goodness, how dare you.

You just went viral today and you are moving into the girls dormitory tomorrow.

You're like a monk who lives in an all girls' cave.

No, no, no, absolutely not.

Give me uncle Wang's phone number.

Your mom told me

if there are any problems,

just find uncle Wang.

Hello, uncle Wang?

Hi.

- Good morning uncle Wang. - Good morning.

Let me take you guys for house viewing.

Okay.

Shu, you can never imagine

That Papparazzi and Oil Cake shares the same room as Nan Xi.

I won't stand and watch Nan Xi jump into this fire pit.

We're out looking for houses now.

What? Cohabitation?

- Cheng ErLuo! Who asked you to eavesdrop? - Is it not Cohabitation?

We're not cohabiting!

I'll get back at you for this.

Well, regarding the house Sister Ren has already informed me.

Don't worry. I'll try my best to satisfy you.

Uncle Wang has some houses.

The main issue is the distance, right?

I think it's within 2 kilometers.

- It can't be too far from school. -Yes, yes.

How big do you want the house to be?

Is it a two bedroom? Or, the two of you in a bedroom?

Two bedroom.

Is Xiarui moving in?

Because one room can be a bedroom.

The other can be a studio. So, at least two bedrooms.

So it's a studio.

So, this two bedrooms house

do you want luxurious or exquisite design?

No, uncle Wang. Nanxi stays by himself, I stay in school.

I stay by myself?

You're not staying? - No I'm not.

That's true.

For a girl to stay off campus it's not too safe, right?

I don't want to stay by myself.

There's a full set of Mahogany furniture inside this house.

Walk-in closet, an open kitchen

overlooking the city night view, close view of community garden.

Most importantly, the landlord is abroad.

This house is fully authorised to me.

And it's cheap.

Doesn't need 100,000 or 80,000.

13,000 monthly.

All expenses including utility bills,

management fees and gas bill, everything is included.

The lowest price in the whole community.

3 months rent in advance with 1 month deposit, 49,998.

Just come with a bag.

This is your house tonight, come.

Wait a minute.

Fift... fitfty thousand?

Yes.

Is it expensive?

That's okay. Tell me a figure so I have an idea.

30,000? That's easy.

Three... thousand.

What?

Thre... Three thousand?

Is there a problem with 33,000 or 3000?

No it's not. Come here.

This is the only bungalow area left in the central city area.

As the saying goes keep your feet on the ground and be at ease by living in a bungalow.

Three by two square meters.

There's no other in all of Binhai.

Only 7 minutes walk away from Binhai University.

No road crossing, no traffic light.

Surrounded mainly by elderly people.

All that is needed are peace, safety and security.

Rent is 3500 monthly. Slightly over budget but definitely great value for money.

It is a bit old but

the interior design should be fine.

This...This government planning should be supported.

Don't worry. Let's have a look at the next one.

Three elements of renting cheap, stable and strategic location.

The next one has all of those.

The only minor shortcoming

[SHARED KITCHEN AND BATHROOM]

It's just right above here

Eighth floor

This is the breath of life.

I have to say this is what your generation lacks.

This small community breaks the unfamiliarity between neighbours.

And allow us to experience deeply the warmth of humanity.

How is it? Not bad, right?

Uncle Wang.

Don't go.

Actually, a new era, new housing

requires new pursuit.

Previously, I was too stubbornly conservative.

Along the way, I got inspired.

I think the next one should suit you.

But Uncle Wang this looks like an industrial area.

That's right. This is an industrial area.

Come on.

Let's take a look first. Maybe there's unexpected reward.

Okay then. If it doesn't work, go to a hotel tonight.

Come on.

This is the last one after viewing so many houses.

This used to be a design company.

The boss is well-to-do now.

The house has just been vacant recently.

This house is pretty well structured.

Double storey.

Upstairs could be made a bedroom.

Bottom level could be leisure area.

Nanxi is involved in architecture.

You should like this house.

Nanxi.

This can be your studio.

-Yes. - Right?

Here we can put your coffee machine.

- Do you like it? - Yes.

- You? - Yes.

It's really suitable for young people.

How is it? Are you satisfied?

- Are you satisfied? - Yes.

We'll confirmed if you're satisfied.

I'll take it.

Here.

Nanxi please sign here.

I'll handle the rest.

♫ I am looking at the dragonflies ♫

♫ Through the window ♫ ♫ The sunlight casts shadows on the trees ♫

♫ Some sweetness to the scent of peppermint ♫

♫ Promise to sign for ♫

♫ My expectation is being reflected in your eyes ♫

♫ The dandelion passed by the shooting star ♫

♫ Handwritten poem about you ♫

♫ Description of a dream ♫

♫ It's a mystical reaction, like your smile coloring my transparency ♫

♫ The secrets of trees dwells in my heart and hides the message ♫

♫ I cannot resist your shy look ♫

♫ Just let me get fascinated slowly ♫

♫ How amazing it is when you get this wonderful reaction ♫

♫ You caught my happiness we have the same chemistry ♫

♫ Caught up in your care and unable to leave you again ♫

♫ When I realised it is your world ♫

♫ Linked together as a scenery ♫

♫ My expectation is being reflected in your eyes ♫

Who... Who is calling at this time?

What is it Chubby Cheng?

Xiarui, why are you so mad?

What 's the matter? Spill it.

Do you want supper?

Celebrate the official start of our university life.

Shu and I discovered a skewers shop.

The rating is five stars.

Send me the address.

Chubby Cheng and Shu want to eat skewers.

Do you want to go?

Let's go.

It's already past six o'clock. I'm hungry.

Okay, okay, let's go, let's go.

Let's go and eat.

Come on.

What are you doing? Let's go.

Oh no! No, Nanxi, Nanxi.

You eat skewers this way?

There's no soul to it.

Only you have a soul. How much is a pound of soul?

It's definitely not as expensive as lamb skewers.

We're already in university

Why is the way you mess with me still so old fashioned?

Aren't we worried that you're not used to leaving ChengHua?

Im just helping you, alright?

Our Nanxi can eat however he wants.

Just ignore him.

Nanxi! Wait, no.

The naggy fat and thin duo from today

are really from your dorm?

Why would I lie to you?

It's really easy to meet your enemies.

Absolutely no way!

Our Nanxi cannot live with those people.

How did the house viewing go?

It's done.

So fast?

The villa area on the side?

An exquisitely designed big house?

Our Nanxi doesn't like big houses.

He wants an empty house and remodel it himself.

I'm really curious. What kind of house caught Nanxi's attention?

The house that can catch Nanxi's attention

must be very unique and one of a kind.

It has to be the only one of its kind in the world.

Nanxi, I have a small unreasonable request

- In your big house, can we-- - No.

Can you let me finish it first?

Leave me with a small tiny little corner, will you?

About this you have to ask Xiarui.

What do you want?

As far as I know in Binhai University

I am definitely a dark horse in the school popularity list.

I need to have a hiding spot

just in case those young admirers come after me

I need to have a spot so I can run to and hide, right?

I can even keep you company.

The admirers...

The...

Both of you

Okay, okay, okay.

We'll look at your perfomance and decide then, okay?

I have a few more words.

Although we're already in university we must not disband our Cheng Yi Nanxia group

And now the time has come for the two of you to contribute to the group.

I hereby announce from tomorrow onwards

for the sake of our Nanxi's next four years of living environment

and for the sake of our interesting university life ahead

both of you have to start helping, okay?

The event is officially launched.

Cheers. Cheers.

Nanxi. I'm already in class.

Are you here yet?

Let me tell you. As compared with your school

Our junior school building is really too plain.

Woodie have you seen your classmates yet?

How do you feel? Are they friendly?

The Paparazzi and Oil Cake duo just keep a distance if you don't like them.

I've seen my schedule, ♫ Since the moment you passed me ♫

I finish earlier, I'll pick you up

I've also told YiShu and Chubby Cheng ♫ The moment you smile ♫

See you there at noon. ♫ Has melted into my heart ♫

Nanxi, it's the first day of university. Try your best! ♫ We are so happy under the clear sky ♫

Try your best! ♫ A promise made before ♫

♫ Like a love song ♫

♫ In the bottom of my heart ♫

Okay ♫ Smile instead of silence ♫

♫ Like gorgeous fireworks ♫

Just a two word reply?

My note is so long and full of enthusiasm. ♫ I met you just like this ♫

That's all he has to say? ♫ Getting close, melt away the silence ♫

This person is cold. ♫ Not up to me to explain ♫

Xiarui, the teacher is here, get in quick.

Okay, okay.

I'll let you off this time ♫ But could not easily believe it ♫

Nanxi, quick! I've saved you a spot. ♫ I met you just like this ♫

This spot is good. ♫ I was full of surprises ♫

♫ Engraved in my memory ♫ ♫With good chemistry♫

What should we do？

Do you think Nanxi is holding a grudge? ♫ In my life ♫

I just think You were too enthusiatic just now.

He's probably not used to it.

I am Gu SiMing

For the next four years

I am your main lecturer

who is in charge of everything.

Okay, okay, okay.

There's still one classmate who did not meet everyone.

Up next, I will officially introduce him to everyone.

Could the person Professor Gu said be the mysterious fourth person in our dorm?

Come. Introduce yourself to everyone.

Okay.

Gao Ting.

Thank you.

Find a place to sit down.

I think this Gao Ting

doesn't seem good to get along with.

I really wonder what kind of weird dorm mates we have.

One is first place, one is second place.

How can we deal with two icy cold people in one room?

What are you talking about?

I've investigated Gao Ting.

He is a local from Binhai.

His parents both work in our school.

He won't live in.

I am Gao Ting.

Nanxi.
