A mountain is like a man.

If you sing to it right, the mountain will reflect your song back to you,

Showing where to look, where to dig tunnels...

They will not hold the mountain from anywhere.

Father...

It's more than we thought.

- King Durin, hand... - Enough!

Capturing the elf.

Elrond is like a brother to me

It's like he removed my mother's womb.

How strong you are!

You are asking for your mother's memory

Protect your decision to betray your own nation?

You are the one who betrayed our nation!

The crown that you are wearing is also dirty!

Give it up.

It's not yours anymore.

You came from the shadow.

In the shadows I beg you to come back!

You had that dream again last night, didn't you??

Hine, there was a sort of... branch.

Under the stars.

Looks like it's coming after us.

I reserved an old book from Zadok.

I think those are some directions.

Welcome to the 'Rune' Lands.

Why are you looking at it that way?

Looks like you've been here before.

Only in dreams.

Tell me your name.

I had many names.

Where's Halbrand?

He's gone. I doubt he will come back.

Until then, we won't favor him again.

Elrond just informed me of your company, with who you are not.

He's not who I thought he was.

He is Sauron.

It is to be given directly to His Highness Calabrimbore.

He must be informed that Halbrand is Sauron.

Excuse me, my lord, but the messenger has only just arrived.

Shall we allow him to enter?

- Moul-tail stew, Moul-tail stew... - Oh.

wait

- Too much. - What?

We are not poor.

You are the one who told us to be smart enough to get fat.

Or did you not include yourself in it when you said it?

hmm?

You married a prince.

But now you are attached to someone who has been expelled.

I married the dwarf I love.

And I will not sell his heart to a mine full of 'fire opal' gems. (for happiness)

Still, be glad you have it.

yes It happened.

Did you try to call your father?

Disa, you know he will never agree to see his mother.

That's not what I asked.

Why would I be the one asking that from an audience?

He rejected me!

He is as stubborn as a rock.

You'll need good luck trying to bend a brick.

You can also...

Disa?

Hold tight.

I said grab it hard!

Disa!

Durin.

no

No, no, no, no.

You will carry these lands.

Beautiful flowers bloom again.

my dear brother

Lord Calabrimbore.

They did not say that you have come.

What's the news?

An unexpected visitor came to me.

Did he just come back?

Galadriel? Galadriel? Galadriel?

Aren't those the seeds you planted?

Three rings to the elven-kings under the sky.

Seven to the dwarf-lords in the stone halls.

Nine for mortal men whose death is certain.

We must attack Mordor from the north.

We enter there, between Ered Litui and Epel Ernen.

It would be wise to invade Adar from the east.

What about Sauron's whereabouts?

Our spies indicate that Sauron was last seen traveling to Modor.

We think he intends to replace Adar and get his forces.

If we go immediately,

We can crush two spiders with one boot.

What does the commander of the northern forces say?

Galadriel?

Um, we need to send ships to Anduin.

Invade Modor from the west.

See Preparation.

It doesn't need an eagle eye

See your thoughts flying far away.

what's wrong

Sauron may have gone to Modor,

But we cannot be sure that he is staying there.

Why do you say that?

Sauron...

You are not seen as the lord of the barren wastelands,

As in Middle Earth itself.

He tries to control it not only by winning,

All people's minds and actions are self-centered.

For that, he doesn't need armies...

Only rings.

And he can't create them without Calibrimber.

Sauron alone, without army or alliance.

Erigan is protected by two rivers.

Built of dwarven stone, with ten-foot-thick, miles-long outer walls.

That's for sure, Calibrimber and the secrets of his craft

safe

I tell you, some evil veil is near Calibrimber.

Sauron's plan is still in place.

I know that.

How?

Ever since wearing this ring, I have felt...

It seemed...

Glimpses of the Unseen World...

Like dreams, coming forward to gather in my waking mind.

You think the ring has awakened your potential

See what hasn't happened yet?

Did they wake you up too?

I saw the mountains slide.

The water is sitting. the clouds Black. Gathering around the white towers.

- Then send me to Eragon. - Galadriel...

- If Sauron is there, I will send the message... - You cannot face Sauron again.

After the deceiver gains someone's trust,

He should get the ability to cast their deep thoughts.

Not only to deceive their hearts and minds, but even their eyes and ears.

Change the reality.

You've already been affected once.

That's right.

He knows my mind.

And I know his mind.

That's why I have to face him.

I can kill him alone.

You once considered him a friend.

- Halbrand was not... - Sauron.

You cannot face him alone.

Think... I'm not alone?

~ Eragion ~

His Highness Kellibrimber regrets to inform you that he cannot grant you entry

Can't I talk to him directly?

My lord is busy.

But he wishes you good luck on your journey.

are you telling me to go

His Highness Erigion will ask me.

Maybe I'll stay here.

If necessary, he will change his mind.

did he go

no He refuses to go, my lord.

Well, he can deny you all you care.

I promised Lady Galadriel before she left that I would never favor him again.

Was there anything else there?

I think he's hurt, my lord.

He was there.

Soon he will leave.

Messengers from Linden may come soon with news.

What news from White Wings?

Sauron's shadow deepens.

It is said that he has taken a new form to deceive his enemies.

And Easter?

I hear the murmurings of the salt gatherers and the mumakill thieves.

Rumblings of an old man in rags with two halflings.

He is lost. There are risks.

But he will not sit for long.

We will reach him before he learns to control his powers.

Perhaps, the blood that was wasted to bring you before me

It should have been used by more useful workers.

Your Majesty

One of the trackers you sent has returned.

did you meet him

I just didn't find him. I know how to catch him.

Heal the curse of our flesh, I will bring you Easter in chains.

Anyway, I think someone like you will die

That Estar can be defeated

Even my most powerful followers could not?

Estar submits to me, because he does not,

I will kill the halflings he calls friends.

What about Dodrick?

Dodrick?

Good, good. And vice?

It's a good name, but it won't be mine.

i know

Fredegaard.

But can you see?

No one can give you a name.

It's already yours.

It is who you are.

When you hear it, your heart starts to glow.

You will hear it one day.

I am sure of it.

Let's find out who he is.

I knew it!

Here it means that if we turn to the northeast,

We can cut this trip in half.

That's the hand. hurry up!

My preference is to avoid the road.

We ran out of water on the first day

He died of heat on the second day.

But maybe it's just me?

What about Dodrick?

You already said Dodrick.

No, I didn't say.

- Yes, you said. - Yes, you said..

Ah, how about the fare this time?

All I found was a bull and a bunch of cactus.

The scorpion stung me, I fell down, well...

- That's how I found a cactus. - That's how you found a cactus.

Can't you just, I don't know, drink some more water?

He is afraid that he will lose control again without a wand

So let's find a wand with lots of pieces of sticks all over the place.

Don't think it works like that, Pop.

Don't make noise.

what is that

from the wind do you hear that

- Just like... - Hoof.

Coming to them. Climb the mountain!

who are they

i don't know

They are looking our way.

Meaning, we'd be wise to find another one.

We already have.

No one has gone off the road.

- No one walks alone.. - No one walks alone..

All the gardens were dried up after the earthquake.

They are not just gardens.

Rumors of dark omens spread throughout the dwarven kingdoms.

Some say the mountain was cursed when Prince Lu took the elf inside.

You two aren't smuggling, are you?

- No. - Not even in a dream.

good Because rumors are like songbirds.

The sound may be far away, but up close, it's an empty festival.

Isn't that true then?

Something terrible happening?

We are going to prove that it is not so.

- King Durin. - King Durin.

Disa.

Navi, your report?

Your Majesty

Soon, a volcano erupted.

Although it is located far to our south,

It produced earthquakes

Spread all through the bones of the earth,

Breaking down the sun-shafts,

Along with that, our crop cultivation capacity.

Now, the obvious remedy

is to establish work groups to repair the shafts

The new one is dipping. Anyway...

Every rock-singer you've brought up has failed to recognize a safe way to dig.

I'm afraid it's true.

By your approval, Lord, we will find the light.

You have approval.

For nine centuries,

Rock-singers have nurtured our sacred connection to this rock.

In all those years, not even once,

Not once did they stop supplying us.

But now, whatever the reason,

The bond is broken.

The hands of darkness closed around Kasad-doom.

Dig carefully, diggers.

Disa.

a moment

Are you really trying to ask me?

Did you mean your grandchildren? They are fine.

They missed pulling your beard, of course, but...

You don't want to make this any more difficult than it already is.

fun I keep telling him the same thing.

Surely Durin knows I spoke angrily to him!

If that sounds like an apology to me, please try telling it to my husband, King.

Why should I be the one apologizing?

He was the one who got angry!

I'm telling you, he...

Like a stubborn, root-bound parsnip?

You two have another common quality.

To this "stubbornness" you say,

Some dwarves call it "strength".

Oh, I guess it takes strength to carry such a heavy grudge.

Keep your wounded heart tightly bound, it may fail.

Yes, it is.

It really is.

No wonder we can't hear the mountains.

The kings there are deaf to the sorrow of their own son.

Your mouth is still the same, Disa!

Do you want to show its true strength?

Call your son to you.

He will answer.

But if you hand it over to him, the peaks of Siraxigil will melt

Before your argument even started.

There is still no sunlight.

Another deadly corner.

We have to work all night.

Oh, Maine we go.

Do it, I see. There is nothing to be ashamed of. I had that too.

- Oh, you had too? - Yes. When I was five!

Yes, hands in the palace.

Gems are polished throughout life.

Don't worry, princes, only 13 more hours.

yes We are in this mess because of you.

It's your father's fault.

eh?

Give me a finger again, I'll bite it off your ass.

How is the mine?

Same as before.

Where are the little ones?

They say they are not hungry. back

Well, I can't blame them.

The texture of these rye grains is like a year old bread.

It was like a year old bread.

Why not bring new grain from the surface?

Great idea!

But who will we find in Dreamil Dale to convince your father of that?

- Don't start. - Um... let me think...

I said no.

Ah, come down from your high mountain and ask for forgiveness!

- You're giving me heartburn. - Good! Now listen to your instincts!

I do!

They still say I'm fine.

If he hadn't molded Elrond out,

We have food to last us 500 years!

What do you think about this food?

We don't hear mountains anymore.

I'm afraid, Durin.

I'm afraid

Disa... come here.

We are dwarfs.

Let's find a way.

We always can.

How?

The letters we sent to Calabrimbore went unanswered.

I fear Sauron is in Erigion.

The great king has expressed his wish to send me and a small group there.

Make sure Kellibrimber and his city are safe.

I ask you to join us.

If you so wish to remind me, Galadriel,

I am just a politician.

Therefore, the great king has faith.

He believes in your steadfastness.

The dog does not move. The collar goes fast.

He refuses to send me without you.

what is that

- You know the reason. - I ask if you know that.

The great king thinks that if I face the enemy alone,

That I might be a victim of deception.

Why does he think so?

Stop it, Elrond.

You have disobeyed the King's orders before.

Why not now?

Because he is right.

Sauron used me.

Under his hand, I danced like a harp to a tune I didn't understand.

It is entirely your choice.

Sauron looked within you,

Picking up every song of your soul, melody by melody,

Appointed him for exactly what you want.

The "Lost King" is the one who can lead you to victory.

You gave him everything he wanted and thanked him for it.

Now he is doing the same thing he did in Gil-gilead.

To every elf in Linden.

That's why we need you. Guide us through this maze.

There is no direction here.

That is the maze.

As long as you're there, you're already lost.

- He'll need you in Eregion... - Please, Elrond.

I can't let him go again.

i can't

He never left, Galadriel.

By choosing to wear rings,

He chose all of you to be his companions.

I have no part in it.

You promised me once,

If what I fear turns out to be "a measure of rumour",

You won't rest until you get it right.

If our friendship means anything to you,

Please go.

Don't you wish to live in beauty?

Master Keerden, these rings are unbelievable.

What is beautiful, when it is born, in a part of evil?

There is no shortage of beauty.

Not for me.

Do you set Rumil's feet on fire,

Why did the poet become a drunkard?

Is Rumil a drunkard?

Don't ask Darren.

can't bear

But the voice

He has a voice that makes even the burning sun shed tears.

judge by work,

And judge those who have done the work

For the judge who sees everything.

It seems impossible.

That's what humility is.

That is the hardest thing for many people to do.

But that is the true nature of vision.

I pray that I can get your comfort.

you can.

We still don't understand these rings.

But look at the power that this thing spreads to all living things.

In Sauron's hands, these can work untold evil,

Dominating every mind and action.

That's why they should only be in the hands of elves.

You are wise to fear this power, Elrond.

But don't let that fear blind you to the good that can be done with this.

Because the bearer of this ring is not your enemy...

Your very faithful friend.

If you believe that they have gone astray, do not abandon them.

But guide them with your eyes...

Darkness covers Middle Earth,

Before blinding everyone.

You need to rest.

Not at all, I...

Get up!

what are you doing Come back!

I saw it. I know I saw it. come on

Poppy, he's not breathing anymore!

There! Yes! Nori, I see it!

What does it show?

water

Someone who hasn't eaten in days

Still so heavy?

Quickly!

Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.

Hurry up, Poppy!

hurry up!

Caught.

please

please

You'll be fine.

Great goat, you are alive.

For a moment at Atana, I thought we'd...we'd lose you.

We don't lose each other.

My eyes are very dry but I cry.

Oh...

what is that

Don't you think...

I am not unlike the stick I saw in my dream.

Um, Nori...

Oh, we were just drinking water.

Pangul Niganweel!

what are you doing

Nori, get down!

Stop! Stop! Stop it!

Why doesn't he stop it?

He can't!

Help us!

Norrie!

I'm coming!

Hold on! Hold on!

Norrie!

Norrie!

It's gone.

Is that so?

I call it ethyldiene.

Made from our last mithril silver.

Outside of the moonlight, it's all invisible.

That's right.

Quite invisible.

Our guest, he is still...

The night is cold, my lord.

Shall I go and give him a cloak?

Whatever your reason for appearing here,

If you don't go willingly, you will be forced out.

I can't deal with you anymore.

He told you to tell him,

Galadriel? Did you talk to him?

Well, you don't, do you?

i don't

Not since she left Linden.

Then you don't know what happened?

Don't know anything about rings?

What about rings?

Did it work?

If you asked him himself, it would be right.

He is not here.

You are there.

What about the king?

Surely he does not neglect to send a message...

Oh, I see.

It's the same old story here, isn't it?

True designers work hard until their fingers bleed

Then they come and take away what gives them more profit,

Forgetting everything about us.

I appreciate your patience.

where are you going

There is no reason to be here where I don't want to be.

wait

Halbrand. please To me

the rings Did you work there?

It worked wonders.

Next, the elves…

yes

And, uh, Linden?

yes

- Are you crying? - No.

I am happy.

You have no sense...

How does this feel?

After so long, so many centuries,

Finally, creating something.

I am about to open a bottle of the first era.

I kept it.

Calabrimbore...

are you my friend

Yes, indeed.

why

Because there is no place for half-truths here

Among those who worked closely, like you and me.

Oh...

And there's more you don't know

What else do you want to say?

Only...

you are scared

did you see I could never hide anything from you.

Well...

Be humble.

Anything you try to tell me, I will accept with an open heart.

I didn't come here to toast the elven kings.

Suggest people make rings with you.

Rings for people?

- You saved the elves. - Uh...

Elves are not humans.

People are greedy.

The risk of corruption is even higher.

Although I want to make more rings,

Dwarves never supply mithril.

I think you'll find the dwarves face their own dilemma.

What a dilemma. What are you talking about?

My name is not Halbrand.

what

When Galadriel found out the truth, she dismissed me.

I won't risk the same thing with you.

I... I understand then, you are not a king.

no Not a king.

Not even a southerner.

Not even a mortal.

who are you

There are forces in this world greater than evil, Calabrimbore.

Sometimes, they help,

In the form of an angel.

One... one messenger, sent to guide the ears of the wise.

Ah...

What kind of guidance?

Standing up in Modor is just the beginning.

At this moment, the entire Middle Earth is in an abyss.

Soon, every kingdom collapses.

Not only elves, but also dwarves. People too.

The darkness grows stronger.

The power of the rings is our only hope to replace the light.

You and I have work to do.

You can't expect me to believe you

That you, the Valar sent... was a messenger...

Halbrand?

Halbrand!

Halbrand!

I walked through the dusty deserts of far-away lands,

Find an artist who can save Middle Earth.

A wind is blowing, Calabrimbore.

I can bring you knowledge that no one else has.

I can unlock your greatest potential.

When our work is done,

Never let the world see you as just one of Fëanor's noble family

You will be respected...

lord of the rings

You don't need to greet me.

But I saw your true form.

stand up

Our work begins now.

How can I call you?

I am your partner.

No more, no less.

A gift giver.

Anatar.

Anatar.

Goddess of bounty.

Did you call me?

You have new orders, General.

You must leave the first Arunella, with five of our bravest elves.

i...

Thank you for your consideration.

It's not me, you should be thankful.

Elrond.

I am very grateful to have you join my company.

I'm afraid you've misunderstood, Galadriel.

Elrond's job is not to join your company.

Lead it.

what is it Is that Elrond?

It's kind of an invitation...

From His Highness Calabrimbore.

He wants to bring the dwarves to Eregion.
