When I heard that Doctor Umon is building a new Mazinger

I'm gonna be honest with you I was afraid it might be too weak

and that it may be easily destroyed

But with the help of Daisuke and Grendizer

I'm excited now to pilot the deadly Mazinger again

No, no, I didn't do much

Alright then, let's try it

It's amazing

His strength increased tenfold

His ability is out of this world

I can't stand the idea of waiting

This is amazing, planet Fleed's scientific power is amazing

That's true, there's no room for comparison between us and them

May I launch the Space Thunder now?

Super scientific power

This planet's fate will depend on these aliens?

"Episode 8 Encounter in Asakusa"

What a great maneuverability!

- Not bad, Sayaka - Maria? Where are you watching me from?

- Take a guess - I really have no idea

Hello!

Don't you think this Drilling Spazer is cool?

He's the best for sure

I'll be here waiting for you Vega Alliance forces

Are these two part of the chosen ones?

No, only Maria has these specifications

It's such an honor to be compared to two members of the Fleed family

- That's not a comparison - What is it then?

If it's a matter of persistence, then you're definitely the number one candidate

Persistence, now I get it

- Thank you, guardian - But you... have killed so many people

Are you saying that this makes you angry?

You're right, I killed so many humans like you

No

Little things like this can't piss me off

I'm a guardian, I serve entities much bigger and sublime than planet Earth

I serve the legend

"Baghdad - Iraq"

Over there!

Look, it's Grendizer!

He's here to save us

Listen here, you Evil Saucer... I won't let you sabotage planet Earth!

Planet Fleed's language?

"Can we meet privately? Rubina"

Is that really you, Rubina?

I know where she's trying to run away to now...

Because I saw the future!

I destroyed the Saucer!

How about that, Brother? You can count on me from now on

- Can you hear me? - You did great, Maria

Thank you, I'm so proud of you

Who's piloting this Evil Saucer?

Piloting this Evil Saucer looks very difficult

and it's not at all suitable for a princess, right?

You're right, no wonder Commander Blaki lost more than 2,000 planes

You're totally right

It may take some time and experience to pilot the Evil Saucer

Blaki!

You should have understood by now that the Princess

is referring to our previous failures

That's right, and since I failed too this means we're even

But... now I'm aware of Grendizer's weaknesses

I need some time and soon I'm going to devise a plan to trap him

This is weird

Why does Princess Rubina need an Evil Saucer?

I think this is a chance to give us a break from our hard work

Now I know the reason behind your repeated failures, Blaki

What did you say?

- Minister, do you have any doubts? - Of course I do

You piloted an Evil Saucer... why did you do it?

I thought I can offer some help this way

but it turned out that this is too hard on me

Fighting on the front lines is amazing

But someone of your standards shouldn't be doing this

I understand your hatred for Duke

but leave the fighting to the warriors

I will, but on the other hand I'll be taking care of intelligence missions

- What do you think of that? - Intelligence missions?

Yes, planet Earth has greatly interested and intrigued me

Have you seen the Drilling Spazer?

What do you think? Isn't it great?

He's the best without a doubt You did a great job

Oh really? Thank you, Koji

Mazinger will be ready very soon

and when that happens we will kick those evil creatures from our solar system

Isn't that right, Daisuke?

What's the matter? You seem worried, Dad

I am worried

I need to know if Daisuke puts the bomb ring in his finger

But why are you wondering about that?

Koji, Sayaka, from now on you have to watch Daisuke

- But why? - Take a look at this

This is the last Evil Saucer we encountered

Can you see this?

This is the Fleed planet language, right?

It is... to a great extent

We believe the enemy has contacted Daisuke for a reason we don't know yet

How can we start doubting him because of mere words?

That's right, Daisuke has helped us immensely so far

Listen to me, Daisuke could be just like us humans

but he's still an alien after all

That's why we don't expect him to adhere to our ethical standards

What's the matter?

Daisuke left on his bike

We already planted a tracking device on that bike

Noted

But Daisuke... can never betray us!

Koji!

Wait a second!

"Asakusa - Japan"

This is so beautiful

This is amazing

They look just like us

So this is what their lives look like?

They don't seem much different than us

What are they doing over here?

Where did you come from, girl?

We pass the steam where we feel the pain

but since you're so young you won't have any idea about this

Thank you so much for your kind words

Where I feel the pain?

Yes, just like that

- Do you feel any pain? - Are you ill or sick?

Rubina

You're here

- Make way, kid - You're doing all this to meet with him?

- What a handsome young man - Is this your fiancé, dear?

Don't you understand the language? And you too, don't you understand the language?

- Let's leave this place - OK

Excuse me, where do humans go to when they need to talk on planet Earth?

So Zuril was right

I can't believe my eyes

Princess Rubina is meeting with Duke Fleed

We tried to assassinate him before but we failed

We have three teams ready this time

No matter how strong Duke Fleed is he won't survive this time

but in the meantime, we have to prove Princess Rubina met with Duke Fleed

- with conclusive evidence - And why would we do that?

Even if we managed to retrieve Grendizer

all the credit will go to Princess Rubina

the current heir to the throne of planet Vega

Minister Zuril, what's on your mind?

If we managed to prove the Princess' betrayal now

There's no reason why we shouldn't assassinate her with a stray bullet

I'm sure he's here but why did he come to Asakusa?

It's an amazing region where tourists flock throughout the year

But these aliens are no tourists

There isn't any big difference

Asakusa is pretty amazing, right?

Look, Koji

My father was right about him... look at him walking with our alien enemies

Maybe she's one of his fans you know that Daisuke is a celebrity now

That's not even funny

- Sayaka, what did you just do? - Get down

We have complete confidence in Daisuke We have to make sure of this

You're absolutely right

Thank you for that

You didn't change one bit, Sayaka

Hello, Professor you have any idea where Koji could be?

- No idea - That's weird

- I can't find my brother either - Maria...

- Yes, Professor? - You can see the future, right?

But that's not as easy as you think

Using the Drilling Spazer on planet Earth

could force you to confront your own countrymen

Are you still determined to fight?

To be honest, I was against the Vega Alliance ever since day one

There's no doubt this Alliance is behind my parents' death

That's Princess Rubina the one they were talking about

They're saying her maids resigned because of her attitude

She is the daughter of the ruling Vega family, what did you expect?

Nothing new to mention and nothing old to repeat

- You must ask her to a dance - What? But she's very confusing

Duke, If you don't mind, would you let me have this dance?

Princess Rubina? It's so nice to see you

Would you honor me with this dance?

But... how come you're not afraid of me like all the others?

Maybe I'm a little bit scared

but my desire to dance with you far exceeds my fear of you

That's why I hope... You'd dance with me

You're so weird

You're in very good shape Duke Fleed

Right, and you look great too, Rubina

I want to...

You know what? Our last encounter could have ended up with a disaster

if my sister Tirona hadn't saved me

Now I get it It was Tirona then

This planet looks like planet Fleed to a great extent

That's right and their ecosystem is the same as ours

There's also an animal which resembles the horse Tinama

I don't think you still remember the first time we met

I still remember that day It was a dance party

Of course I remember how can I forget that night?

Then, let me ask you this question

Did you plan to destroy planet Fleed and kill me by using Grendizer?

- Did you kill your own parent? - No, I didn't!

I don't know if you'll believe me or not but...

Please let me explain... everything that happened

The security cameras of floor 28... there she is

One second, Koji, show me the other cameras

Here? Boss, what's going on here? Who are these two?

They're the hotel owners

But...

They just bought the place a few minutes ago

What?

There they are

I wonder what they're talking about right now

Daisuke... Is it possible that you are allying with one of our enemies?

Please... please don't make me use this

Commander, Blaki, it looks like they went to that restaurant, let's go after them

No, we're facing Duke Fleed

If we get any closer we'll arouse his suspicions

And now it's my turn

The Devil's Ears abilities

Ok, I'll have the juice

I heard this from my colleague, but...

This girl is so nice

Please prepare table number 3

I didn't kill my parents

Kasado did it

- Then you didn't kill your parents? - Of course I didn't

Do you have any proof of that?

- No, I don't - What about Grendizer's attitude?

I'm not sure about that He got out of control

I tried to stop him but... it was all in vain

That's what happened and I don't have any proof of that

My only proof is my word

My sister Tirona told me one thing and the Vega Alliance forces say something else

And now you're telling me a completely different version

Who do you think I should believe?

- I believe you - What?

I think I believe you, Duke... I feel like you're not lying

Rubina

What is this nonsense!

Tirona!

- What brought you here, Sister? - Your weird attitude brought me here

So you believed his version of the story?

Do you have anything to say to Rubina's sister?

Do you have something to say to your old comrade

who's one of the Starker Knights?

Tirona, I want to thank you

- What did you say? - Thank you for saving Rubina

I'm really happy that Rubina's still alive

- That's why... - You're a liar, shut your mouth!

He got out of control?

How dare you say so?

Not only that, but you even go so far as to blame Grendizer

who's the guardian of Planet Fleed

That's not true, this is exactly what happened that day

and who said I believe you? You have no proof whatsoever

The only proof you have is nothing but nonsense

It's you who killed the King and the Queen

That's a lie!

I entrusted you with Rubina but you failed to keep her safe

Despite that...

Tirona

This means Princess Rubina's betrayal is confirmed now... Move!

- Rubina, we're... - Talk to me and leave her alone!

- Rubina... - Thank you, Sister for taking care of me

But... please, there's no need for you to worry about me

What did you say?

I owe you, you and Duke always protected me

That's why, allow me to protect you this time, my dear sir

Rubina

Let's try to live happily

even if this will take many years

This is what the good, honest and kind prince, Duke Fleed, wanted, right?

Thank you, Rubina

Come and fight me then, Duke Fleed!

There's no need for a trial here

I'm going to judge you myself in a duel!

- That's enough - Please stop

I'm not fighting you

I will not rest until I get rid of the cunning traitor Duke Fleed

because I'm one of the Starker Knights

- What happened? - Who are these people?

- What's going on? - Who are these people?

A Vega soldier?

Darn it! She saw us

It's Blaki! You scumbag!

What are you doing here?

Eliminate the number one criminal on our planet, Duke Fleed

and kill his treacherous aides immediately!

Daisuke, watch out!

They're members of the Vega Alliance Forces What brought them here?

Kill these scumbags right away!

Eliminate these savages with the Vegatron bomb right away!

Take this, you coward alien!

Daisuke has loyal friends who are ready to defend him

You hear me, you ugly prick?

You're calling me a coward alien?

You have no idea who's Blaki the Assault Force Commander

Darn you, now you're irritating me

Take this!

Koji, where are you?

Leave him now, and get over here to help Daisuke, quickly!

I'm coming!

You see, Rubina?

Duke Fleed fooled you and brought his friend Earthlings to kill you too

Do you still insist on staying any longer on this planet?

Good job

Starker Beam!

Stop fooling around here

Ether freeze!

Let's go, Rubina, move it

Minivo

Wait

Rubina

We can't continue our conversation in light of these circumstances

I need to leave now I'll be seeing you later

Wait! Don't leave me here!

- Rubina! - What a coward! You're running away now?

Rubina!

You're so careless, Daisuke

- They tried to kill you again - I know, but...

Listen to me

Don't forget that you have declared war

You shouldn't let your emotions fool you once again

Despite all this, I...

I believe Rubina

On the next episode... Darkness covers the light
