The call before
is from Kathy's mother.

She talks about going shopping
tomorrow, Thursday.

So this call was
on the Wednesday

that she was killed.

Right. Crandall calls her
in the afternoon.

He begs her
to take him back.

He threatens her.
She hangs up.

He waits for her
outside her place.

She still blows him off.

He kills her

he panics,
and he runs home.

At 11:30 he calls Fiorello.
"My God, I've killed Kathy."
