where he opened fire on
a group of rival gang members

who charmingly call themselves

PD Killaz.

The man he was gunning for,
Damon Cafferty, was wounded.

But a stray bullet
from the defendant's gun

tore into Lara's back,
killing her

as Corrine cradled her
in her arms

and felt the life
drain out of her daughter.
