in northern Thailand.

It's full of rich history

around the temples

eating delicious traditional food

Wat Chedi Luang.

This 14th century

Buddhist temple is

in the centre of the town.

in Chiang Mai.

It's believed to protect the city.

Famous for its

enormous sheddy

which measures

at 282 feet high.

is a Thai egg noodle soup

in curry broth,

topped with crispy fried noodles

It's a must have dish

in the northern part of Thailand

Sai Huen

which means northern Thai sausage

is a type of fresh sausage

that is commonly found throughout

the northern region of Thailand.

It's great to eat

with sticky rice and green chilli dip.

and apparently they do very good calci and sahua

Fisherman's Village cause

we spent a lot of time there.

On our trip to Chiang Mai,

we were invited to stay at Chala No. 6

a beautiful boutique hotel

right in the centre of town

walking distance from temples

markets and cafes.

The room was very spacious

and the bed was so comfortable

the swimming pool with a waterfall at the end

right in

front of our room was the highlight of the hotel

for me

the breakfast was a buffet and had so many choices

including pastries, cooked food,

fruit ,Thai desserts,

rice soup, noodle soup, and omelette.

We will definitely be returning

if we came back to Changmai again.

So, for the last stop, locals would say

you haven't really gone to Chiang Mai

unless you have been to

Wat Prathat Doi Suthep

which is the most important temple in Chang Mai, Thailand.

The view at the top is absolutely breathtaking.

There's quite a lot of steps

going all the way up to the top

but it's definitely worth it.
