(Only For Love)

(Episode 28)

It turns out that

I'm not that special to you.

For now, let's not drive this car.

Shi Yue.

Here are my notes from class recently.

Thank you, Yu Cheng. I'll return them to you soon.

When will you be back for class?

Will you still come back for class?

Of course. I have something on recently.

Once I'm done, I'll be back for class.

So, I'll still have to trouble you to lend me your notebook.

I'll treat you to dinner when I come back.

You're treating me to dinner?

Qin Shi Yue.

Professor Yu.

Professor Yu.

Professor Yu is really nice.

Explain to him properly why you haven't been coming to class lately.

I still have classes. I'm leaving first. Goodbye, Professor Yu.

Shi Yue, bye-bye.

Bye-bye.

Do you have time?

Let's have a meal together.

Sure.

About Le'an, how is it going?

We have contacted an expert.

Let's see if he can help Le'an.

Work is important.

But don't ignore your personal matters.

It's been a while since I saw Miss Zheng.

How have you two been lately?

When you have time, take her to the horse ranch to play.

She probably won't go there again.

It's normal for young people to act up.

Be more understanding.

Communicate and comprehend more.

I can see that she is really devoted to you.

She has a lot of people and things to devote to now.

And, she also has many other choices.

Is that so?

Shi...

Shi Yue.

The fish here is cooked really well.

And, eating fish is good for the body.

Why don't you give it a try?

How is it?

It's tasty.

Thanks.

Is there a reason

why you came here suddenly today?

Nothing. Just looking for Yu Cheng to borrow his notes.

I can give you the course materials.

But I'm not sure if I can understand the course materials.

Then, you should continue to attend the class.

I mean, we are currently talking about primary and secondary markets.

Understanding these can help with your work.

So, if there's anything you don't understand, you can come and ask me.

(Why is Yu You suddenly so concerned about me?)

(Could it be because I haven't been around lately)

(and he realized my importance?)

(Looks like I can't get too close to him in the future.)

(I have to keep my distance sometimes.)

I got sick recently.

My family was really strict with me

and didn't even let me go to work.

That's why I probably can't come to your class in the future.

Why did you come back so late?

I went out to dinner with my friends.

Uncle.

Are you unhappy?

It's okay, Uncle.

"Victory and defeat are common in war."

You just showed up too late.

Defeat?

It's all fate.

You should quit your job tomorrow.

Don't go to work anymore.

(I just made some progress with Yu You today.)

(If I quit my job tomorrow, )

(how will Yu You think of me?)

(Well, I'll take a long leave first.)

Shu Yi.

You're back?

I want to

take a leave.

What?

My family worries about my health

and they want me to rest at home.

Then, you should rest well.

Thank you, Shu Yi.

Then, I'll go tell the editor.

Yue.

What's wrong?

Does your uncle

know you're taking a long leave?

It's him who asked me to take a break and rest at home.

Take good care of yourself then.

Come back earlier.

I'm fine. I'll recover soon.

Shu Yi. Wait for me to come back.

I still need to learn a lot from you.

(So, )

(it's all your arrangement)

(to keep people around you away from me.)

Mr. Shi has been in a bad mood recently.

It must be because of her, right?

I guess so.

At Yunchuang, I've never seen any other woman sleeping and eating

in Mr. Shi's office.

So, what do you think happened between them?

How would I know?

Looks like she did something wrong.

Miss Zheng.

Mr. Chen.

Sorry, Miss Zheng.

Today, Mr. Shi doesn't have time to see you.

It's okay. I'll come tomorrow.

Mr. Shi also said

to stop the cooperation between Yunchuang and Financial Introduce.

Mr. Chen, can you arrange for me to meet with Mr. Shi?

I want to talk to him in person.

Sorry.

Mr. Shi said

he won't meet you.

Okay. Thank you for your help.

(Mr. Shi. I'm really sorry.)

(About Yunchuang's special report...)

(I'm sorry.)

(I shouldn't have lied to you.)

(Actually, I wanted to tell you everything a long time ago.)

(I just didn't know how to start.)

(And, I was also scared that after telling you, )

(it would become like this.)

(About all of this, )

(I'm really, really sorry.)

(It's my fault.)

(If possible, )

(I wish I could apologize to you in person.)

(But I hope my mistake won't affect)

(the cooperation between Yunchuang and Financial Introduce.)

(Is that okay?)

(I'm sorry.)

(But I'm sincere to you.)

The special report on Yunchuang has had a great response.

The editor-in-chief wants to strike while the iron is hot.

Shu Yi,

you can put more effort into this from now on.

Okay.

What about the next issue? Do you have any ideas or directions?

Not yet.

If you don't have any ideas for now,

there have been a few industry forums recently.

You can go and look for some inspiration.

Okay.

Mr. Shi, the related materials from Professor Li's lab

have been organized and sent to your email.

(Hello, Mr. Shi.)

(I'm sorry for my improper handling which caused your unhappiness.)

(With your help and support, )

(the first special report on Yunchuang was a great success.)

(This series of special reports is very valuable for)

(Financial Introduce and Yunchuang.)

(I hope we can put the past aside)

(and continue to work with Financial Introduce.)

(I will also withdraw from this special report)

(and let other colleagues from Financial Introduce take over.)

(To ensure a smooth transition, )

(the subsequent planned topics are attached here.)

(Please take a look.)

Mr. Shi.

What's wrong with this material?

If the person you like gets angry,

what would you do?

Try to cheer her up.

Apologize to her so that she won't be mad.

But, if she's still angry

and blocks you?

This mad?

Then, I need to explain it clearly.

Find a way to apologize in person.

If one time doesn't work, try twice.

What if she sends you an email?

That definitely won't work.

Nowadays, who sends emails to

apologize?

Mr. Shi.

Shu Yi. The water is ready.

- Thanks. - What's wrong?

- Nothing. - I noticed you haven't been doing too well lately.

- Is it because of work... - I'm going back to work now.

I don't agree, Zheng Shu Yi.

Do you know what you are talking about?

Who insisted on doing this special report back then?

Who insisted on creating an independent and upgraded digital magazine?

Have you forgotten what you said? And now, you want to quit.

I don't agree.

Ms. Yi.

Now, only if I quit,

can we keep the Yunchuang special report.

You and Shi Yan...

You have to think it through.

This special report is hard work.

Let the other colleagues handle it.

I will help them finish this project.

Let me think about it.

You should think about it too.

Chairman Shi.

Shi Yan is my junior.

So, while I'm speaking here, I won't beat around the bush.

The situation is like this.

Shi Yan has ignored the fatty meat of Lieying

and had to invest in Le'an.

We seniors didn't understand, but we still supported it.

Yes.

But do you know the result?

The result is that the core personnel of Le'an were poached,

leading to the lab being shut down immediately.

The same goes for Zhanlan.

Juhe's foundation is still shallow.

Who can guarantee it won't be the next Le'an?

Right.

Chairman Shi.

We seniors have considered the situation, and we have a request.

Would you please consider it?

We'd like to have Xiao Ming manage all of Yunchuang's businesses

in order to prevent Shi Yan from making mistakes again

due to lack of experience.

Tian,

do you remember what you said

in my office more than 10 years ago?

Chairman Shi. It's been so many years. I don't remember what I said.

You said,

"Xiao Ming is still young,

and his foundation is not stable.

Now, if we let him enter the management,

it's inevitable that he will lack experience

and make wrong decisions."

Shi Yan.

These seniors have been supporting you all this way.

Whatever they said,

if true, correct them.

Otherwise, take it as an advice.

We need many people

to escort and protect this small boat of Yunchuang,

so it can grow into a giant ship.

Thank you, seniors, for your concern.

Whether it's investing in Le'an or Juhe,

it was all my own decision.

I should take all the responsibility.

I will think of a solution to Le'an's problem as soon as possible

and give everyone an explanation.

This special report has been followed up by Zheng Shu Yi all along.

No one can do this special report better than her.

I won't let the magazine retract the report.

I can't arrange it like this.

I'll have to talk to her.

He doesn't even want to see me now.

He even blocked me.

He doesn't even reply to my emails.

I have no choice.

I just hope it won't affect the cooperation on this special report.

How did it come to this?

Why didn't you tell me earlier?

I don't know what to do either.

(I can't pretend to sympathize with you and comfort you.)

All I can say is

that's how things are now.

Do you know that

he took his niece away,

not wanting her to stay with me.

(He doesn't want to hear anything about me anymore.)

Don't be too sad.

Maybe if you meet him in person, things will be much better.

How do I muster the courage to go see him?

Whenever I think of him not wanting to see me,

I feel so bad.

Then, don't think about him.

Think about Yue Xing Zhou and Qin...

What's her name again?

(They are the ones suffering now.)

(They must not be able to eat their meals and sleep well now.)

What about this? After work,

go home and take a shower.

Order some small lobsters, watch some variety shows, and sleep.

Maybe, there will be a turnaround.

Impossible.

There's no way he and I can be together again.

All right, I'll hang up now. I'm going to work.

Have you figured it out?

It's better to let other colleagues

take over the special report on Yunchuang.

I'll do the handover.

If there's anything I can help with later, I'll do my best.

No need to credit me.

I just hope the Yunchuang project can continue.

Let's do it as you said.

Prepare the materials in your hand. I'll arrange the handover.

Okay.

Shu Yi.

What did the editor say to you?

I'm going to quit the special report on Yunchuang.

What?

Just for you to say it like that, I feel sorry for you.

Xu Yu Ling must have said bad things about you

in front of the editor-in-chief.

Otherwise, the editor wouldn't have arranged this.

She doesn't understand Yunchuang at all.

How will she do this special report?

What's the situation with Yunchuang?

Why is Shu Yi quitting the special report on Yunchuang?

What?

When were they together?

Why did they fall out then?

Hello, everyone. Today, we are talking about the secondary market.

Let's look at the screen together.

What is the secondary market?

For Yunchuang's report,

you gave us two copies of Zhanlan's accident investigation report.

The contents are contradictory.

Do I need to waste my time

looking at these worthless things?

Zhanlan was a company Yunchuang had an intention to invest in.

Regarding the reasons for contradictions,

I have already marked them in the documents.

- You can take a closer look. - No need. Thank you.

I'll just rely on myself.

I can have my own working methods.

To create a good report, the journalist must understand the issue in depth.

Your plan won't work.

- What do you mean? - Nothing.

You thought I didn't know how you got the special report from Shi Yan?

With such unorthodox methods,

the opportunity you got will eventually be lost.

In the future, Yunchuang's special report will have nothing to do with you.

Send the materials to my email and then notify Guan Ji and Yu You.

Yes, Mr. Shi.

Hello, Mr. Shi. Long time no see. Do you still remember me?

I'm Xu Yu Ling, a journalist from Financial Introduce.

I will be responsible for the special reports on Yunchuang in the future.

Miss Xu, please go back.

The collaboration between Yunchuang and Financial Introduce

has already ended.

Mr. Shi. I've done a lot of preparation work. Through my special interview,

I will definitely bring a lot of attention to Yunchuang.

I won't take up too much of your time.

Mr. Shi. The interview we agreed on for this afternoon...

Mr. Shi is leaving. Let's call it a day, Miss Zheng.

The interview is over.

I've been looking forward to this for a long time.

Finally, it's happening today.

Is it convenient for you now?

It'll only take a little bit of your time.

Is that okay?

For the same project, I won't accept interviews from two journalists.

Thank you for your hard work.

Mr. Shi, if you don't have time, I can interview your colleagues.

Can you please give me a chance?

Sorry, Miss Xu.

I'm afraid you have to return with nothing.

Mr. Chen, I really won't take up much of Mr. Shi's time.

Can you help me arrange it?

I can interview your colleagues. Is that okay?

Sorry.

I...

Miss Xu, let me take you downstairs.

Can I have a few minutes to talk with you?

Shu Yi.

Xu Yu Ling went to Yunchuang.

How can you still sit here calmly?

She must have interviewed Shi Yan.

No. You have to take back the special report on Yunchuang.

This is your hard work.

No need.

As long as the special report can proceed smoothly,

it doesn't matter who does it.

Why did you come here?

To pick you up from work.

You should go back. I have to go home and write an article.

What if I say I can take you to find some inspiration?

I'm a professional journalist.

I don't need such unprofessional methods to find inspiration.

Are you sure?

Shu Yi?

Is the person next to her

Yi Yang from Dark Horse Technology?

Wow. They really are a perfect match.

How is it perfect?

Clearly, it's not perfect at all.

Why is Miss Zheng with him?

Is there a problem?

Since Mr. Shi accepted an interview with others,

why can't Shu Yi be with others?

When did Mr. Shi accept interviews from others?

About Miss Xu that you mentioned,

Mr. Shi didn't even pay attention to her.

Then, why is she still visiting your company every day?

If she's not looking for Mr. Shi, could she possibly be looking for you?

No.

How could she be looking for me?

Do you know how much effort Shu Yi has put into this special report?

But the moment Mr. Shi said to stop it, things had to end.

He's really cold-hearted.

For me, when it comes to love, it should be happy and joyful.

I think this Yi Yang is pretty good.

He's handsome and considerate

and still finds time to take care of his girl.

Mr. Shi must have his reasons.

Do you really think he's good?

Yes.

But I already have my own little boy.

- Let's go eat. - Yeah.

- Let's go. - Let's go.

Weren't we going to find inspiration? Why are we shopping now?

It's still early.

Why don't we watch a movie?

Yi Yang.

It's fine if you don't want to.

Shall we go to the night market then?

I don't like night markets.

And, there's nothing to buy.

Don't girls usually like to go to night markets?

Maybe you'll find something you want to buy there.

I'm not a typical girl.

Who goes shopping for inspiration? I don't have any inspiration at all.

Excuse me. I really have work to do. I'm going home first.

If this place can't give you inspiration,

then let's go somewhere else.

Come on. Punch toward the target.

One. Two. Good.

One. Two. Three.

Not bad.

Come on. Keep changing positions.

One. Two. Three.

Keep going.

Switch. One. Two.

One. Two.

One. Two. Three.

One. Two. Three.

One. Two. Three. Four.

Good. Keep going. One. Two. Three. Four.

Switch.

One. Two.

How's that?

It feels pretty good. Thanks.

Now that

all the worries are gone,

inspiration will come naturally.

If you ever have unhappy times in the future, come to me.

I'll be your human punching bag.

Greetings, Mr. Shi.

Here she comes again.

It's too frequent.

It won't be for the whole afternoon again, right?

She's asking repetitive questions,

wasting everyone's time.

Miss Zheng has already classified and organized the information.

Go tell her not to come again

and not to send other journalists here.

Let's digest the knowledge points we talked about today.

All right. Today's lesson ends here. Dismissed.

Shu Yi.

I have something I want to ask you.

Do you have time for a dinner together in the evening?

Have you been busy with work lately?

You look really tired.

Tiredness is a good thing.

It's worse to have nothing to do.

Don't you have an intern?

Isn't the intern helping you share some of the work?

Oh, Yue?

She took a long leave.

I don't know when she will come back either.

Nothing is wrong with her.

Her family just worries about her

and wants her to rest more.

So,

how is Yunchuang doing recently?

I heard there was some internal disagreement.

Shu Yi. Are you asking if Shi Yan is doing okay?

Are you and Shi Yan together now?

It was just barely starting back then.

Now,

it's probably over.

Shi Yan isn't a bad-tempered person.

Although he looks cool usually,

he won't get angry easily.

He must care about you a lot for him to do this.

If you explain things clearly, it will be all right.

I have already apologized to him,

but he blocked me.

So, I couldn't contact him anymore.

How did you apologize?

I...

After you finished speaking, I realized

perhaps the reason he was angry was because,

after all these things happened, you only cared about your work

and neglected his feelings.

You're right.

It's my fault.

I was only thinking about

solving the problems and impacts caused by this incident

without considering and taking care of

our relationship and his feelings.

I'm really a terrible person.

Since you now understand the situation,

do you know what to do now?

Thank you, Yu You.

I didn't expect Professor Yu to be so adept

at solving relationship problems.

I only recently realized

that theories are meaningless when it comes to love.

When you're in it,

you just have to go with the flow.

That's right.

Presuppositions are indeed useless.

I never thought I'd ever be with someone like Shi Yan.

- Is it cold? - Not really.

Let's go over there and take a look.

No.

- Hello. - (Mr. Shi.)

(I've contacted Financial Introduce.)

(Lv said )

(Miss Zheng voluntarily withdrew from the special report on Yunchuang.)

Got it.

(Perhaps the reason he was angry was because, )

(after all these things happened, )

(you only cared about your work)

(and neglected his feelings.)

But, what can I do to make you understand that I care about you?

(Lv said)

(Miss Zheng voluntarily withdrew from the special report on Yunchuang.)

Uncle, why aren't you turning on the lights? You scared me!

Uncle, are you feeling down?

Sorry. I shouldn't ask.

Let me ask you.

If a girl

used to be very proactive in pursuing a man,

but then...

But then, they had some issues.

So, the girl completely stopped contacting him.

What could be the reason?

What kind of reason could there be?

Being proactive can be tiring too.

In a relationship,

the man should also take the initiative sometimes.

Shouldn't it be the man's turn to take the initiative now?
