(Only For Love)

(Episode 8)

Let's have a grand welcome.

Thank you for your valuable time and listening attentively.

In the future, Guan Capital will continue to steadfastly

commit to innovation and talent recruitment.

This year, we have also brought new vitality and energy to the company.

Now,

let's welcome Guan Capital's new partner,

the strategic consultant,

Professor Yu You, to come on stage.

Hi everyone, I'm Yu You.

I'm very honored to be able to join Guan Capital

and witness its breakthrough growth.

Birds of a feather flock together.

Excellent men often appear in groups.

Yu You looks handsome, young, and outstanding.

What if he is compared to Guan Ji?

That's hard to compare.

What do you think?

What do you think of the two of them compared to Shi Yan?

Shi Yan is like an unreasonable and annoying little elf.

In this context, no one can beat him.

(Why do I feel cold?)

Guan Capital is making big progress.

Yeah.

He is from our strategy department.

Nice to meet you.

We all rely on you guys.

I'm sorry. Excuse me for a moment.

Hello, Miss Zheng, here we meet again.

Hello.

Our meet-up this time was quite a twist.

Let's hear it.

It's a bit embarrassing to say.

There was a small incident.

The invitation letter you gave me got lost.

My colleague later helped me get another one.

So, that's it.

Actually, you should have contacted me again.

Oh yeah.

Do you need a solo interview?

When he's done with his work, maybe I can help.

Thanks. My colleague has already interviewed him last week.

Shu Yi.

This is my good friend.

A journalist from Sanjiang Interactive Entertainment Net,

Bi Ruo Shan.

- Hello. - Hello, Professor Yu You.

- I've heard a lot about you. - I'm flattered.

Let me introduce you guys to my two friends.

What a coincidence, one of them just left.

(Could he be...)

Guan Ji.

Excuse me.

This one here is the one I mentioned before.

Zheng Shu Yi, a journalist from Financial Introduce.

Nice to meet you, Miss Zheng.

And this beautiful lady is?

Bi Ruo Shan from Sanjiang Interactive Entertainment Net.

The threshold for journalists is really high now.

Mr. Guan.

Can you give us an exclusive interview opportunity?

I'll tell everything.

That's how Guan Ji is.

He talks a lot when he sees a beautiful lady.

Shan Shan is like this too.

She talks a lot when she sees a handsome guy.

Excuse me. I have to pick up a call.

Hi, Mom.

Didn't I tell you?

I just got back. I want to settle down first.

Okay. I'll do as you say, all right?

Okay, I'm busy now. Bye.

We really have a lot in common.

That time when I went to see you,

my mom said she'll introduce her colleague's son to me.

My mom just said she'll introduce her old friend's daughter to me.

Professor Yu You, you need to go early to prepare for the dinner tonight.

Okay, thank you.

- I'll leave first. - Go and do your work.

We'll make an appointment for the next interview.

Okay.

Do you want to stay for the dinner?

No, thanks. I have to go back to write my article.

(I'm very honored to be able to join Guan Capital)

(and witness its breakthrough growth.)

He has a really nice voice.

Gentle and magnetic.

I just don't know if he looks good or not.

(Has he overheard my complaints about him?)

He never replies to my serious messages.

Then, I can only send him something not so serious.

(I received a mail today.)

("It's my honor to meet you.")

(I read a book today.)

(It's called "Meeting You, And I'm Willing to Surrender".)

Oh, not with this.

Come on, let's have a drink.

Congrats!

This side, please.

Thank you.

It's just a small favor.

It's a success because you and Bruce get along well.

Your plans and challenges moved him.

That's why he stayed in Le'an.

(I received a mail today.)

("It's my honor to meet you.")

(I read a book today.)

(It's called "Meeting You, And I'm Willing to Surrender".)

What are you laughing at?

You've been so unusual lately.

I haven't even asked you yet.

Why did you run away during the afternoon press conference?

Maybe I was being unreasonable.

Anyway, you don't read.

So, it doesn't matter what I say.

(Tell me. Why didn't you reply to my text?)

(Is it because your phone is out of credit?)

(Or, are you busy with a multi-billion dollar project?)

I can't blame you for not replying

since you're an illiterate who can't type.

Illiterate?

Can an illiterate read texts?

I haven't had the chance to ask you yet.

Has the media friend you invited come?

Yes. Wasn't I just introducing her to you this afternoon?

She's Miss Zheng Shu Yi.

She's not your soul mate, is she?

We are just friends.

We just get along well.

Professor Yu.

Yes.

(Doesn't an unreasonable person act like this?)

Doomed.

It's him.

He heard it all.

What are you looking at?

I'm looking...

I'm looking at you. Mr. Guan, you look different today.

You are so different at work.

You are also different today.

A different kind of beauty.

Mr. Guan, you sure know how to talk.

Only when facing the most beautiful journalist in the city,

I can say such sincere words.

Today isn't enough fun.

Let's go for a drink.

Okay.

This is the place.

- Do you still remember? - Of course.

I knew right away. We are the same kind.

Hello, beauty.

Alone?

Let's have a drink together.

My treat.

You want to buy me a drink?

I don't drink regular drinks.

This bottle is my special collection.

There are only a few bottles in the world.

Ordinary people

can't drink it.

Hello.

Can you get me a bottle of that wine?

- Hello, please wait for awhile. - Excuse me.

I want to ask the price of this wine.

There are only a few bottles in the world.

I'm afraid that I can't afford it.

It's 580 yuan.

That's good.

A 580 yuan bottle of wine doesn't require treating by someone else.

So, I'm worth 580 yuan divided by 10,

58 yuan.

The memories of being with you

are so beautiful and intoxicating.

Maybe you are really drunk.

- Morning. - Morning.

Shu Yi.

The time for Yunchuang Annual Strategy Conference has been set.

They sent you an invitation, right?

When it rains, it pours.

The time was only decided today.

The invitation letter couldn't have come so quickly.

Anyway, the interview with Shi Yan received a good response.

They must have sent it to you.

(Shi Yan must still be mad.)

(There are two issues left this year.)

(A review of year-end press conferences of each company)

(must be the only front-page content choice at the end of the year.)

(No. No matter how he feels, I have to go.)

This edition has added the part about Le'an.

We also invited Mr. Chen.

Take a look. Is there anything else that needs to be modified?

No problem.

Let's arrange it like this.

Okay.

(Mr. Shi, see you next week.)

Wait.

- Are there any arrangements with the media? - Right, Mr. Shi.

As usual, nothing is missing.

We added some new media...

I've confirmed the list of new media.

That includes Financial Introduce.

I'll go remind them again.

A courier from Mingyu Yunchuang.

(It's here.)

(It seems like Shi Yan isn't so petty after all.)

(He's just unwilling to admit he's kind.)

(I'll forgive him then.)

(When I go to the press conference, I'll thank him properly.)

(And, I'll treat him to a meal.)

Yu Ling, this is the courier for you.

Mine?

Thanks.

Bei Er, hurry and collect some information about Mingyu Yunchuang.

Send it to me as soon as you can.

Okay, Yu Ling.

I have lots of work to do now.

What's going on?

Could it be the editor-in-chief?

(Uncle didn't fail me.)

(But this play is a bit too much.)

You came to find me but you don't even say anything?

The editor-in-chief and I were worried before.

Now, for the Yunchuang and Guan Capital's conferences,

you will attend one, and Yu Ling will attend the other.

It's actually easier now.

It's my fault.

I didn't handle it well.

It's over.

I'm doomed.

What's over?

It's just a press conference.

You've had a lot of front-page coverage this year.

You did really well.

Take advantage of this break to rest well

and prepare for the plans ahead.

Fight again next year.

I'm going to do a special coverage on Yunchuang.

I have to go to this press conference.

I want to put this special coverage in the digital magazine

as an independent special coverage.

Even if you go to the press conference and handle Shi Yan,

the digital magazine promotion

would still take a long time.

I understand.

I can't change the editor-in-chief's mind all at once.

So, I have to seize every opportunity

and shorten the time for long-term plans.

All the best.

Oh, if you go,

remember to bring Yue along.

Bring her?

I'm not sure if I can get in. How can I bring her?

Is there any place that you, Zheng Shu Yi, can't get in?

Ms. Yi, why don't you get someone else to guide Qin Shi Yue?

I don't think I could guide her.

Why would a rich second-generation like Shi Yue

come to work in such a harsh environment?

Wouldn't staying at home or doing something she likes be better?

Don't you think Yue has a pure heart?

Not only is she pure-hearted, but she also has a unique way of thinking.

Ms. Yi, I just couldn't guide her.

Isn't it good to be pure-hearted?

Do you like the deceitful person?

Be a good person before doing anything.

Yue does have many shortcomings.

But I believe she can be trained.

You have to believe me.

Take good care of her. Guide her properly.

Think of it as helping me.

Shi Yue.

Yunchuang is about to have a press conference.

Take a look at the related materials.

Come with me on that day.

Shu Yi. You don't have an invitation, right?

You don't have to worry about that.

But I haven't finished organizing the recording you assigned to me.

I asked you to organize the interview recordings before

so that you can get familiar with the workflow

and gain a deeper understanding of the industry.

Mingyu Yunchuang is at the forefront of the industry this year.

All journalists in this industry want to go to this press conference.

Shi Yan has clear ideas and an accurate market understanding.

You have only heard of Shi Yan's recordings before.

This time, you can experience his charm in person.

The editor is really biased.

She must be taking care of her emotions.

But the chance given by the editor and Shi Yan

carry different significance, alright?

Hurry up.

Yu You.

Your phone is ringing. Someone is looking for you.

Shi Yan.

Do you still have the media invitation for the Yunchuang press conference?

Why?

It's that Miss Zheng again?

Yes, how did you know?

I met this journalist when I just returned to the country.

You are so diligent in helping her to get invitations.

Tell. Are you trying to pursue her

or is she trying to pursue you?

No. We are still friends.

We are from the same hometown, and we were schoolmates,

so we could chat a lot.

Anyway,

a senior taking care of a junior. Isn't that what's supposed to be?

You think everyone is like you,

fond of protecting the weak and acting as a flower guardian?

How come I remember

Miss Zheng had just finished interviewing you?

Didn't you give her an invitation?

So, do you still have it?

No.

If you win me, maybe there will be.

We've worked a whole day.

We thought we were here to relax.

But it turned out we're here to be punching bags.

I'm asking you.

How come you're still so eager to win after work?

Come on.

It shouldn't be Shi Yan's problem.

He is such a big boss.

He wouldn't be concerned about media invitations.

It must be a misunderstanding.

It's no use thinking about it.

Why not just give him a call

and ask him what he means?

If it's a misunderstanding, ask him for the invitation letter.

If he's still angry,

apologize to him and try to make him happy.

(I'm sorry.)

(I lost the competition to Shi Yan.)

(I can't help you with the invitation.)

Is it really him?

(Shan Shan.)

(I'm really doomed this time.)

(Regarding Mingyu Yunchuang Annual Strategy Conference in two days, )

(Shi Yan purposely sent an invitation card to Xu Yu Ling.)

(Shi Yan did it on purpose?)

(And, he didn't send one to me.)

(Shi Yan overheard it and got angry.)

(He even held a grudge.)

(Is this what you mean?)

(Are you trying to piss me off?)

(I'm so jealous.)

(Don't worry.)

(I'll ask my friend and see if I can get another one.)

(Great! Thank you, Shan Shan.)

(You are my savior.)

(I can't get it.)

(I can't beat him.)

Can't beat him?

My friend can't do anything either.

Shi Yan is so petty, all right?

Exactly.

Forget it. I'll just sneak in with you.

If he wasn't so narrow-minded,

would I have to sneak around like this?

I told you before.

He just cares about you.

Why else would he make things difficult for you?

The more he refuses to let me go, the more determined I am to go.

Since you take the bet, be willing to admit defeat.

But I think it's a bit of a pity.

Miss Zheng is a great journalist.

Her articles are very insightful.

I couldn't help her this time.

I hope she won't scold me.

If she has to scold someone, scold you.

Hey.

Have the invitations for the press conference been sent out?

(Yes, Mr. Shi. The media have been receiving them since this morning.)

(Hello, Mr. Shi?)

(Financial Introduce and Jiangcheng TV Station have replied.)

(They will attend.)

It's not a misunderstanding, right?

Then, I'll have to go and ask him in person.

Why are you making loud noises in the middle of the night?

I make noises?

You don't turn on the lights and sit here at midnight.

You look like a ghost.

Do you know that you almost scared your only niece to death?

It hurts.

Everything's normal. You are fine.

Hurry up and go back to sleep.

Uncle, what's wrong?

Did you get dumped?

Or you didn't even have the chance to experience love?

Was it that woman from last time?

Are you having a one-sided crush?

Qin Shi Yue.

Let me say it again.

Go back to sleep.

Okay, Uncle.

Good night, Uncle.

(Mingyu Yunchuang Annual Strategy Conference)

Please sign.

Miss Xu, right?

- Yes. - Hello.

I'll take you to the scene.

- Okay, thank you. - This way.

This seat. Please take a seat.

It's so close to the front.

Financial Introduce is a very important media partner.

The CEO specially instructed us to give you the front-row seat.

- Please sit. - Thank you.

(Mingyu Yunchuang Annual Strategy Conference)

(The seat today is not bad.)

Mr. Shi, do you want to go to the lounge first?

No need.

Mr. Shi, you are here.

We put some important media in the front row seats.

You should enhance your working skills if you have free time.

Well...

Mr. Chen, this...

Didn't you instruct us to look after

the female journalist from Financial Introduce?

Come with me.

Miss Xu.

- Hello. - Sorry.

Just now, my colleague took you to the wrong seat.

Please forgive us.

Come with me.

Please.

Mr. Shi, everything is arranged.

Yue.

Actually, there's no need to dress so formally in this kind of event.

(I was careless.)

(I thought that wearing black wouldn't draw attention.)

Shu Yi.

- It's you. - It's you.

You two know each other?

The press conference is about to start. Let's go in and talk.

Let's go.

Hello, how many people? Please sign your attendance.

Hello, sorry.

You can only bring one staff with one invitation card.

- But I... - Shu Yi.

The press conference is about to start.

You don't need to worry about me. You guys go in first.

Shan Shan, you take Yue in first.

I'll think of something.

Shu Yi, it's not really necessary.

You guys go in quickly. I've thought of something.

Then, you hurry up. Let's go.

Shu Yi, I'll wait for you outside.

(He's coming toward me.)

(He must have come out specially to look for me.)

(It's over. Uncle has seen me.)

(What is he up to?)

(He won't make me repeat the conference content at night, right?)

Shu Yi, I'm going in first. You hurry up.

Mr. Shi, what a coincidence.

Long time no see. Have you been busy with work recently?

(Mingyu Yunchuang Annual Strategy Conference, VIP Route)

Thank you, Mr. Shi.

Mr. Shi,

did Xu Yu Ling conduct the interview better than me?

Or was her outline better than mine?

Confirming the media list and sending out the invitations

are not my job.

Mr. Shi.

Arrange a seat for her.

Miss Zheng, please come with me.

His language skills are so bad.

He can't even explain properly.

Let's see his performance on stage.

Thank you, Mr. Chen.

You're welcome, Miss Zheng.

This seat is specially arranged for you by Mr. Shi.

It's our PR Department's mistake

that the invitation wasn't sent to you.

Please forgive us.

Mr. Chen, I have a small request.

What is it?

I have two colleagues.

Do you mind if we sit together?

No problem.

How did you get in and get us such good seats?

It was arranged by him.

Then, you should thank him properly.

(Are you here for the press conference today?)

(Yes.)

(Okay, see you later.)

(You're here?)

(I'm here.)

(See you later.)

(Okay.)

What's this? There's no setup at all.

That's his style.

I hate press conferences the most.

Dull and boring.

I have to listen to a few hours of lectures.

God!

Who can save me?

Is it starting?

(Mr. Shi, they're already downstairs.)

(Mr. Shi, the most macho CEO.)

(Today isn't Mingyu's press conference.)

(It's your personal charm press conference.)

(Although I can't speak out loud right now, )

(I'm already screaming for you in my heart.)

Mr. Shi.

Greetings, everyone.

Sorry to keep you all waiting.

I'm Shi Yan.

Shi Yan has really made a name for himself in the past few years.

The father and son of the Shi family are really smart.

When he left, Shi Yan was relieved of a great burden.

Welcome to Mingyu Yunchuang Annual Strategy Conference.
