Goodrich was found last night

behind the church
of St. Stanislaus,

bringing the city's
homicide count for the year
to 212.

What's particularly shocking
about this murder,

is just last week, Ms. Goodrich
was honored by the mayor
as Samaritan of the Year.

Homicide investigators
are working double shifts,

hoping that a break in the case
will lead to a quick arrest.

So far, they have no leads,
no evidence and no suspects.
