Episode Forty-three

Chun'er.

Seventh Brother.

What happened to you?

It's all because of Chu Qiao.

If there wasn't her,

all the things wouldn't happen today.

It's all because of her.

Chu Qiao?

If you catch her, you will catch the traitor,

Yanxun.

Just go and catch her.

Thirteenth brother.

Where did Chu Qiao go?

That way.

Let's go.

Yes.

Please remit your anger, Your Majesty.

Fortunately,

the thirteenth prince and the princess Chun'er

have come back safely.

Who is safe?

My most beloved son

has become disabled now.

Pass my decree

to capture the traitor Yanxun.

I want to see him or his body.

Yes, your majesty.

Your Majesty, how about the maidservant

who escaped with Yanxun?

Sha has made the same crime as Yanxun, just kill her.

Yes.

My dear Countess concubine.

You don't look well.

I know that you are worried about Hao'er.

But you still need to

concern your own health.

I have already sent out every one of the the Highest Judiciary,

the internal security forces of the Palace

and the government of Chang'an.

There will be news about Hao'er soon.

Your Majesty.

Your Majesty.

Viscountess concubine.

Zhu Siliu from the Red Hills Court of the Yuwen Palace

is coming to see you.

There must be some news about Hao'er.

There must be some news about Hao'er.

Just let him in.

Yes.

Did you find Hao'er, didn't you?

Did you find the prince, didn't you?

Viscountess concubine, I knew

that you are worried about the little prince.

I really have searched for the little prince

with all my heart.

But... it...

Where is the prince?

Viscountess concubine, it's all

Yuwen Huai's fault.

Viscountess concubine, I just searched the whole palace

to find the little prince.

I was too late.

Little prince.

Open it up.

I'm asking you to open it up.

You can't see it, Viscountess concubine.

You can't see it.

Get out.

Viscountess concubine.

Viscountess concubine.

I would have known it early,

the one like me

doesn't deserve any good life.

Viscountess concubine, please don't say that.

But God,

the one who had the guilty is me,

if you want to punish anyone,

please punish me.

Why did you

take my Hao'er away?

He was so young.

It's you, isn't it?

You couldn't stay with

your own kid,

so you just sent your daughter

to take my kid away,

did you?

The appearance of your daughter

has taken all of this away.

Your daughter killed my kid.

I would never let her have any easy time.

Killing you?

That would be too easy.

Emasculate him.

Yes, Your Highness.

Your Highness.

Your Highness.

Move.

Your Highness. Please just kill me.

Your Highness.

Your Highness. Please just kill me.

Please just kill me.

Your Highness.

Remember.

From now on, you are here to

serve me at the Palace of Lan Fu

because you owed me.

Yes, Your Highness.

Your Highness.

Our people are back.

There is no sign of Miss Chu.

You have been away from several days,

but you didn't find any information about A Chu.

Your Highness. We tried our best.

Keep looking.

If you are short of people, just send more people out.

You must bring A Chu back.

Didn't you hear what I said.

Your Highness.

After Yuan brother and sister arrived at Chang'an,

an order for arresting Miss Chu

was sent out.

Right now,

the arresting orders with

Miss Chu's portrait on it

have sent to everywhere

in the shortest time.

The entire Wei State is search for

Miss Chu.

They bite the hand that feeds.

Jing.

Send out my order.

If A Chu is hurt

in anyone's place,

I shall

kill his entire family.

Yes, sir.

Your Royal Highness. Young Master Wei is here.

(Sound of knocking)

Your Royal Highness?

Your Royal Highness. I am here now.

Your Royal Highness.

Your Royal Highness.

(Sound of opening up the door)

Chun'er.

Come on in.

(Sound of closing up the door)

I am so glad that

you returned safely.

I was so worried about you.

I couldn't eat or sleep.

Now everything is all right.

You returned safely.

Otherwise…

Wei Shuye.

You fancy me, right?

I…

I can get married with you,

but there is one condition attached.

Chun'er.

Are you leaving now?

Yes.

Where are you going?

Before Yan Xun escaped from Chang'an,

we arrested a spy from

the Liang State.

We got a detailed confession from her.

Based on this confession,

we were able to get rid of

the spies placed by the Liang State in Chang'an.

Then we followed this lead

and found a map

of the distribution of spies throughout the country.

They were involved in

what happened to the Duke of Dingbei

and the incident in Chang'an.

I shall

bring them all down.

After I leave,

you need to be careful.

So long.

I heard that maid escorted

Her Royal Highness and His Royal Highness Yu back to Chang'an.

She can't reach the troop of Xiuli now.

She is a wanted woman.

Yes.

If you come across her,

what will you do?

Grandfather,

what do you think I should do?

I am not telling you to kill her.

I only wish you don't

get involved with her again.

You are disobeying my order?

You were just like me.

You were even willing to disable your legs

to protect

that woman.

Why are you

forcing me now?

Because I regret what I did.

Does that surprise you?

I was too young.

I was deceived by her lovely words

and lost my mind.

I risked my future

and ruined my life.

I let the entire family down.

My parents and relatives were desperate because of that.

You are doing this for a woman

who betrayed you,

let you down and doesn't belong to you.

What?

Won't you regret?

If you could reverse the time,

would you

let that woman die?

Maybe you will regret

what you did

many years later.

However, if I don't do it now, I will definitely regret.

I shall excuse myself.

Those who are competent should serve the society.

When the country is in peace,

the legislators should refind the law.

According to the poem,

then even a country with wealth and strong military power will be afraid of it.

Don't poke your nose into other's business when you are out there.

Better safe than sorry

Mencius says

Mencius says

that gentleman should put benevolence

and reason in his heart.

The benevolent care about others. The well-mannered respect others.

This…

If there is someone bullying the weak

while I just leave the weak to die,

it's against the benevolence.

Dai Bao,

it is in the day time.

There won't be any bad people, right?

I think

if I come across two farmers arguing,

I go to stop them

and let them make peace with each other.

That will be all,

right?

You agree, right?

(Sound of fighting)

Dai Bao, you agree with me, right?

What?

What? Dai Bao,

Did you go to the wrong direction?

My name is Liang Shaoqin.

I just come across here.

I chose the wrong path.

I am leaving now.

I am leaving now.

I am leaving now.

Dai Bao,

let's go. Why aren't you moving?

Dai Bao,

let's go.

You…

You see,

a group of men

bully a weak girl.

This is unreasonable.

There is an old saying that

The reasonable will live happily,

while the unreasonable will suffer.

You are the unreasonable right now.

I can inform the officials for you.

Let's go to a court of law.

At a court of law,

things can be resolved much easier.

If you don't want to go to the law court,

maybe you could tell me

what happened.

I can help you.

Shut up.

Well…

you are

just a weak girl.

How could you

fight with those men?

Look, they are all

holding swords.

What if they hurt you?

You better

come with me.

If you have something

that can't be resolved,

I shall offer my help.

Stop fighting against each other.

It is uncivil.

Let's me tell you.

(Indistinctive words)

(Sound of fighting)

Why are you on my horse?

It is improper for men and women to be so close.

My books. My money.

My poems.

My passport.

Why are you doing this?

Stop.

You

Why are you

so unreasonable?

I saved you.

You threw all of

my money and stuff away.

How dare you.

I guess I am just in bad luck.

Stupid woman.

Let's go. Dai Bao.

Let's go.

It was running too fast.

It needs some rest.

What are you going to do?

What am I going to do?

I am going to pick up

my stuff.

Are you trying to get yourself killed?

If I lost them, I would be in huge trouble.

Without my passport,

how can I go into the city?

How can I stay in an inn?

Besides,

I have nothing to do with them,

and they are officials.

What would they possibly do to me?

You knew

they are officials.

Do you know who I am?

You saved me.

They probably think

you are my conspirator.

You are Dai Bao, right?

Thank you for saving me.

Miss,

I am the one who saved you,

not it.

You don't thank me.

Why did you thank a horse?

Dai Bao,

I am sorry.

I am not saying bad things about you.

You saved me?

When did that happen?

Why didn't I know?

I saved you,

but you don't even thank me.

How could you treat me like this?

You even humiliated me.

Did you kill those officials?

Did you

help us escape?

You did nothing.

Why are you saying you saved me?

Am I right, Dai Bao?

You…

I…

I went to

reason with them.

I solved the mess

and then…

Then what?

Did they put down their swords

and let us leave?

It is good that you have a sense of justice.

You also need to be smart.

If you are incompetent, just go away.

If not for this good horse,

we would be dead by now.

I…

You definitely

can't get your things back.

I repay you

with this.

I…

I am sorry

you lost your passport.

You can report it to an official.

It's not safe here.

I shall escort you to the next town.

How about this?

I don't want your money.

I am an

honest man.

I won't be safe

if I am with you.

You are such a young girl,

but you are chased

by so many officials.

You are either a criminal

or a thief.

Let's go.

Let's go.

Let's go.

Dai Bao, let's go.

Nerd.

You really don't need this money?

The city of Xianyang is not far away from here.

Without money, how could you get in?

I would rather die than taking your money.

Your Highness.

We are about to arrive at the city of Hongchuan.

When I left Yanbei,

my father

sent me here.

The Emperor gave the imperial decreed that

every General who was

guarding the border

sent one of their children

to Chang'an.

No one responded.

The Emperor wrote to

my father.

After my father finished reading the letter,

he turned around

and said to my two brothers and me,

“Which one of you

would like go to Chang'an?

It will only be one year.”

My eldest brother asked my father,

“Aren't the Emperor and you are brothers?

Why is he doubting you?”

My father responded,

“Because we are brothers.

If I don't support him,

no one will.”

At the day, I decided

I would go to Chang'an.

Because he was my father.

If I didn't support him,

who would?

Open the Gate.

I am Yan Xun. I am back.

Open the Gate.

I the Prince of Yanbei.

Open the Gate.

My Yan

I'm back

I've changed

Have you?

Your highness

General Cheng, where are the leaders of tribes？

Your highness, I have sent some one to check

No one exists within twenty miles

Did you send the invitation cards

into their hand?

Of course

Did you mark that

it is today?

Yes

Then why no one is here?

Prince

Maybe something happened

on the way

I go and check

No need

Prince

You send out the card three days ago

No one comes till now

The only possibility is that

they never want to be here

Why?

You burned Chang'an

making your way back to Yan with blood

Who doesn't be aware of your name

and what you did by now?

The majesty of Wei lost his dignity

He won't just let you go

So he will gather his troops

to attack Yan

By then the eight tribes

will have to fight with the army of Wei

They dare not to do it

The allies of

my father

I thought they could

help me a little bit

Seems like I was thinking too much

I heard the Tribe Huo hold a part

with all-beef dishes today

The leaders of all tribes

will attend

Tribe Huo?

The leader is A'gutu

the little brother of the ex-leader Enge

Enge is the bloody of your father

When the City Beishuo was attacked

Enge led his troops to help the lord

but were killed

by A'gutu on the way

He not only killed his brother, robbed his brother's wife

but also slaughtered all the sons of

Enge

He is known as a cruel wolf

on the grassland

If you set off now

you may be able to attend the party in time too

Let's go

I can show you the way

Your highness

Mr. Wu is here soon

Let him deal with

things here

Since I am back

no need to have him care about this

Wait for him here

We'll be back soon

Your highness

Your highness

This is the new brand

Miss Yu said

we can hang it up

after announcing the guilt of Wei

Hang it now

Have you heard it?

What are you waiting for?

The prince says to hang it now

The Palace of Master of Yan

This knife is called Dragon Bird

It was said to be owned by Bai Qi

a famous general in the Warring States period

with the soul of demon hidden in it

Need to be fed with blood

Do not fail it

Thank you, your highness

Come on, buddies

Here, fill it

Let's toast for the leader

Fill the wine

Leader

Drink it all

Drink

Listen to me

The wolfing Yan Xun

want to take all the warriors on the grassland to

suicide with him

Daydreaming

Who is his father?

Regarded as the lion king of Yan

Twenty years's winning

Never been defeated inside or outside the border

Wasn't he has his head cut

in just one round?

Right

Yeah

Come on. Drink

Come on

Drink the wine

But

I heard on his wedding day

he refused the marriage

right in front of the majesty led his people to

fill the Chang'an City with blood

Pretty brave

Who can't buff himself?

Yeah

Filled the city with blood?

Have you seen that yourself?

Punish you have a wine

Punish. Punish. Punish

I... I drink

Fill the cup

Okay

Don't increase others' morale by reducing our own

The kid just

took a chance to

sneak out of Chang'an

Then he ran all the way back to Yan

like a defeated dog

He was sent to Chang'an

since childhood

He stayed such a long time

in such a prosperous place

His determination has long been blown away

by the wind of Chang'an

Can he still hold the sword?

Yeah, right

Once the war begins

he cannot beat our Wuya

That's right

Yeah

Right

Come on

Here

I'll fill the cup

Come on

Who are you?

Why are you coming for?

I am asking you

Are you all deaf...

Sit down

Let me introduce myself

military horses and iron mine

The one contacts with Liang

Is it this Xianyang Chamber?

Yes, it is

Who leads them?

Their leader

covers to be a member of a wealth family

Named Liu Xi, councillor Liu

Known as the kind-hearted Liu

He worked as official

Quit and back to hometown

didn't know why

Then he started to do business

But rumors say

in fact

he is not the real leader

but a guy of mafia

Who is this mafia guy?

Or what does he look like?

I never saw him

They call him Forth Master Feng

You are saying

this chamber is related to Liang

Yes

I suspect

they are all from Liang

Look, in this chamber

except Liu Xi

everyone else just came out

out of a sudden

Their identity and background

are mysterious

This Liu Xi you talked about

where did he worked as a official?

I do not know it

But not hard to find out

Okay, check it out

Yes

Wait

How's the mission I handled you

going on?

Do not worry, master

I have sent out

the portrait of that girl

Now

all the agents here in the city are working on it

I want to see if there is someone suitable

Okay

He was just caught by the guards

at the city gate

He was so not polite that

he abuses the minister

Turns out you are so awesome

I like one with character

I want him

Luck you!

Okay

Hurry up

Untie me

Is this your attitude talking with

your master?

What master?

I am a scholar

How can you trade me

with money?

You are insulting my dignity

It is you to blame

that I end up here

That is not true

First, I did not ask you to save me

You were stepping into something

unrelated to you without enough ability,

right?

Now I save you instead

We are even

Second, I payed you money

You were too arrogant to accept it

I...

Third

You end up like this

It is all your fault

You deserve it

I have nothing to do with it

You woman. How can you...

Shut up

I am warning you

I have something

important to do

No one will save you

if you get caught again

Goodbye

Fine

A man in the world

has his principles to do or refuse to do

I'll go myself

Your highness

You come to find me

just to frink or

talk about women?

You are a boring man

I won't find you

if I really want to drink

Chu Qiao?

She works for Yan Xun

She is quite popular lately.

The Emperor of the Wei State offers a reward of a thousand taels of silver

for people who kill her.

What?

Your Highness also knows her?

She is a beautiful woman

whom I met

in Chang'an City.

Your Highness

is really romantic.

She must have offended Your Highness in some way.

So Your Highness made up your mind

to kill her.

No.

On the contrary,

I want to ask you to save her.

Your Highness,

I, Zhan Ziyu,

always just kill people.

I have never done such thing

as saving people.

I will not mistreat you.

I have a message

this is very important to you.

You have been looking for a person.

Xia Chong.

Your Highness know where he is?

In the secret prison of the Liang State.

How do I know that?

Miss, you are the only one

who can get me out of here.

I am a scholar.

How can I become a slave?

Also, they are always

picky about me.

This is...

Please get me out of here soon.

How can I save you?

Buy me again.
