" Our Glamourous Time "

Episode 45

Mr. Li.

- Can we pick out the cheap buttons? - These are all high-grade replicas.

It's hard to tell by human eyes.

There are thousands of them here.

Picking them out can be very difficult.

How did this happen? Why didn't you inspect the stocks?

I have no clue either.

I made sure of the inspection when the stocks came in.

Someone must have tempered with it.

Gather some of the experienced workers.

Order them to pick out all these resin buttons.

I don't mind the delay. But other shirts from Glamourous...

must never use any of these resin buttons.

What happened?

Did you see this? What is going on here?

Someone tempered with the stocks.

There are low-quality button mixed in the stocks.

What now?

Leave this to me, don't worry about it.

This is getting out of hand.

Will it affect our business?

Should we close the shop?

We can't close the shop. Evading means guilt.

This must be Peter's doing.

Start it now.

Stay here. I will go take a look.

Everyone, listen to me!

I am the CEO of Wen Da.

I am in charge of Glamourous.

I give you my words.

All the shirts with button issues shall receive a full refund.

Seriously?

As for this matter,

the investigation is underway.

We will accept any inspection from the authority.

The shirt itself has no issues.

Someone with ill intentions swapped out the buttons.

Now that it happened, I will take full responsibility.

Right now, I have a piece of advice for those who are up to no good.

Come out and fight fairly if you dare.

I welcome you at anytime.

Do no cower in the dark.

I will retaliate with all I can.

Peter.

We received the report of the shirt from the headquarters.

This is a new kind of fabric.

It does have the property of lowering surface temperature.

According to headquarters, if we can sell this world-wide,

it will revolutionize the fabric industry.

A fashion company from Europe bought this once, but failed.

The intellectual property is owned by Lin Qian.

This is a very profitable material.

It's pity if the Chinese owns it.

Should we wait this out first?

After the commotion with the buttons,

we suffered a great deal with our reputations.

As for Xin Bao Rui, Han Chong must have known about it.

- He will start something soon. - We just opened up a market.

Now, it's all in vain.

Do not be upset.

I started investigating.

How is it going on?

No lead just yet.

There was no surveillance at the warehouse.

The warehouse keeper has run away.

What is your next plan?

Glamourous may have suffered some bad reputations,

but Peter didn't gain much in terms of sales.

He is causing us trouble without gaining anything.

If we stop the production now,

we will play right into his trap.

Mr. Ning, go to the H Magazine.

Make some positive articles about Glamourous.

Sure, I can talk to Grace about this.

She will definitely help us.

Mr. Chen I hope you can utilize the online platform...

to defend the shirts from Glamourous.

Sure, no problem. I want to see...

what Peter's next move will be.

When are you paying for the advertising from H Magazine?

I can't hold them off much longer.

Royal's sales is great.

You should have more than enough for financing,

After Wen Da stop the production,

we can only rely on the minor suppliers.

The cost is much higher.

We don't have so much current fund available.

- Hold them off for little longer. - I can't do this anymore.

I don't even know to tell Mr. Wu about this.

I am still just the acting editor in chief.

I need you to clear the payment for the advertising.

I need to prove my worth and secure my position.

There are other ways to secure your place.

Li Zhi Cheng...

is much more formidable than I expected.

Ordinary business plots are useless against him.

I am not in the mood!

Is it possible for you to have an early return to the work?

Help us neutralize the uproar from the public.

I have seen from the internet about the uproar you mentioned.

The consumers value quality the most.

If we can find the evidence on how Peter defame Glamourous,

we can turn the odds against them.

All I say is I will try my best.

I will leave it to you.

Don't be so formal.

Twenty.

Twenty-six.

Sure, it's almost done.

Did you get everything?

Miss Lin Qian.

- Okay thank you. - This way, please.

I need to have a word with you.

Peter, you are not welcomed here.

Please leave.

I am sorry for the plagiarizing. My assistant did that.

I have punished him accordingly.

I am not interested.

- What exactly do you want? - I'll get to the point then.

Your designs are on an international level.

Linhai City is too small of a platform for you.

So, I am inviting you...

to be the chief designer of DP for the region of Asia.

The minimum yearly salary will be RMB 5,000,000.

Get out.

I can relate to what you feel.

I can make up for your loss.

You can ask for whatever terms you want.

Peter, I have nothing to say to the likes of you.

This is my shop. I want you to leave now.

This is your custom Xue Yan Twill?

Don't touch my shirts.

You have the intellectual property right.

Sell it to DP. Name a price.

Peter, do you really think everything can be bought with money?

Isn't it so?

Please leave. Leave or I am calling the police.

Why are you here?

He wants to buy the intellectual property right of Xue Yan Twill.

I mean it.

The headquarters is very fond of this fabric.

They will offer a price you cannot resist.

Since such a great material is available,

we have the duty to let everyone know and make the world better.

But you...

do not posses the resources and man-power.

Who do you think you are?

Do you think you have what it takes to own it?

Aren't you aware of the shady deals you have done?

You are too much of a simpleton.

I offer you a chance.

You tossed it away.

It can't be helped then.

It can't be helped.

He is out of his mind.

You came back so soon?

Why didn't you inform me beforehand?

The fashion industry of Linhai ran into some problems.

I think I should end my vacation a little sooner.

I was about to tell you.

Lisa and her team are doing well.

You don't have to worry about anything.

You can still go on with your vacation.

But the situation is very complicated.

I doubt Lisa can handle it single-handedly.

There is nothing to be worried about.

I have brought my team of experts from America.

They have followed me for years.

Leave the works at the company to me.

You can go on with your leave.

Our company needs to learn some experience from the west.

The board members have agreed to this decision.

You can...

keep enjoying your vacation.

Sure. No problem.

It must have been hard for you.

Hello?

It's me. I am sorry.

I might not be of much help for you this time.

Lisa seems to be very close with Mr. Wu.

I don't think I will be able to go back for the time being.

The melting point for shell buttons is around 450 °C.

The melting point for resin buttons is around 100 °C.

Look at this.

This is the resin button.

This is the shell button.

The shell button is still solid, can't say the same for resin button.

It's melted.

Hello? Yan Zhi?

Call the factory.

Heat up the buttons.

If the buttons became soft,

they are not natural. Pick them out.

Move fast and minimize the loss. Quick.

Mr. Li, that was very productive.

Are you out of your mind?

Let me see it.

No, let's get water on it.

- Fine, it's nothing. - No.

We need to soak it for five minutes.

We need to soak it for five minutes.

Stop working and start eating.

I sent the email to H Magazine headquarters.

They will reply soon.

But since the headquarters is working with DP,

they will take this matter into consideration.

Your words alone won't do much credits.

I don't care. They can either reply me,

or I will send the emails everyday until they do.

I don't buy it.

Why would the headquarters let a boot-licking girl unchained?

- This is bad. - What is wrong?

The sales report for Xin Bao Rui is out.

The premium brand: Royal from DP greatly impacted us.

Royal is an international brand to start with.

It can be considered as tier-one. and could only be bought in Europe.

But now, you can buy it at the mall next door.

I could now use the slightly premium price to buy tier-one quality.

So, it's normal that the sales is good.

What about the shirts from Glamourous?

Luckily, they are doing quite well.

Otherwise the sales for this month would be terrible.

Save the thoughts for later.

Now, don't getting so upset.

Dig in.

Boss. Zhao's father has indeed passed away a few days ago.

But the address on his identification has been changed.

Tracking him down wasn't easy.

But I have a feeling that...

he didn't mean to hide from us.

Okay, I got it. Good job.

- Mr. Li. - Have a seat.

I heard your father passed away.

The company will give you the benefits as per regulations.

It's okay. I don't work here anymore.

I am here to understand some details of the situation.

The natural shell buttons were mixed with some cheap buttons.

This has a great impact on the shirts of Glamourous.

Is that so?

Mr. Li, I know nothing about this,.

Zhao, calm down. I just wanted to understand the situation.

Was there anything unusual during your shift that day?

Nothing.

Everything was normal.

Do you know this man?

Here is 20 thousands.

Another 30 thousands after the job is done.

Fine.

Your yearly salary in Wen Da doesn't come close to this amount.

Fine, I will get someone else if you won't do it.

Zhao, came here for the shift?

I don't know him.

I have never met him. Why would I know a foreigner?

Okay, once everything is settled back home,

you can come back to work.

Thank you, Mr. Li.

But I won't be coming back again.

Okay.

I am glad we have you.

We used the high heat to filter out all the low-quality resin buttons.

That was so close.

I talked to the warehouse keeper.

He seems very suspicious.

I plan to find a breakthrough from him next.

Here you go.

- What is it? - Come over here.

Look at this.

There is a new photo shop nearby.

What do you think?

- Not bad. - Yes.

- I am going to try it out tomorrow. - Tomorrow?

I thought you want to have it in Europe.

We can have some photos shot here.

We can use them for the invitation cards...

or small gifts.

Save the outdoor shots for Europe. You are too busy anyway.

We have to do it twice either the way.

Not bad, right?

Fine, I will go wherever you go.

- Tell me and I'll get it done. - I will have it North Pole.

North Pole?

With he penguins?

That is the Antarctica.

- Antarctica? - There are polar bears in North Pole.

I want to have a unique wedding.

I want it to be special. This is once in a lifetime for a girl.

Is that okay with you?

We can take the wedding photos while hugging the polar bear.

- How about that? - You will be scared running.

- I have you with me. - Me?

I never fought a polar bear before.

What if I lose?

What if it snatches my bride away?

How am I supposed to get you back?

Help me delay the payment for another month.

This is taking too long. The company is pressing charges.

I need your help.

First of all, H Magazine works with all three of the companies.

I need you to provide the information on all of them.

Secondly, use the H Magazine as a mean...

to boycott the Xue Yan Twill and shut out Glamourous.

After the payment is cleared,

we can still work together like we used to.

But I am not working for you.

Why should I be a spy for you?

There is no way I will do this.

Hold on.

It's a little blurred.

But I think the silhouette is clear enough.

There is also a video. Care to take a look?

If I spread this out,

do you know what it means?

You sent someone after me?

I have a habit.

I will find a leverage on those...

who worked with me. That's how I feel safe.

And Grace won't be taking your job for months to come.

Think about it.

Hello? I just changed into the dress. Where are you now?

There was an accident. I am stuck in a traffic jam.

It might take another 30 minutes.

Take it slowly. I will be waiting.

Where is the owner? Which of you is the owner?

I am sorry, the owner is not here.

- You can talk to me instead. - Why would I talk to you?

- Where is the owner? - No!

Stand aside!

What are you doing?

We can talk this through! You don't have to spray the paint!

The paint? This is less than you deserved!

Your dress caused allergy to my girlfriend!

She is now in the hospital.

- Allergy? - Yes, I am too.

See? I got the rashes after I wore your dress last night.

Look at what I have become. Look at these.

This must be a misunderstanding.

We have never seen such problem before.

We can talk this through inside. Okay?

We can talk this through right here!

I want the whole world to know what your dress has done to me.

Let the people judge it. Look at the rashes I got.

Look! Look at what it has done to my wife.

Their dress caused this!

You are a shady shop making shady money!

- I should close this place down! - What do you mean shady?

I am warning you! Enough of your nonsense!

Stop it or I am calling the police!

- How can you hit her! - You are calling me the villain?

- Stop it! - Stop fighting!

So what?

- You can't do that to her. - So what?

I am calling the police.

How can you hit her? This is too much.

I will use this moisturizer as a base,

it will be easier to put on the make-up.

Then a little massage with the Wet Code Aqua Cream Cushion,

and then the Wet Code lipstick.

You can try this on.

The colour is good.

See? The skin is moisturized and lively.

- Does it look good? - Sure, definitely.

Thank you.

Hello? Ya Yi?

Qian Qian, come back now. We have trouble here.

You should at least get a wedding shot in the army uniform.

- Let's see what Lin Qian says. - Hello, sir.

Hello, I am Lin Qian's fiancé.

- We have an appointment here. - You must be Mr. Li.

Miss Lin rushed just now for something urgent.

She went out while still wearing the dress.

She even left her belongings here.

Let go! Stop fighting!

I will beat you up!

Stop fighting! I am calling the police!

Stop fighting!

What are you doing? Stop fighting!

- Qian Qian, I am so glad to see you. - Are you okay?

They sprayed our shop with paint.

They want to trash the shop. And he hit me.

- What do you want? - It's her, she is the owner.

You are finally here.

The dress we bought here gave my wife rashes.

Today is our wedding. We can't do anything.

What are we supposed to do now?

How can you prove she got the allergy from our dress?

I am wearing the same fabric. I am fine.

- We need evidence for everything. - Stop denying it.

My wife got the rashes from your dress! Look!

Who is denying it now?

If there is a problem with the dress, I will take on the responsibility.

But you are trashing my shop and you hit my friend.

Who is going to pay for this?

Stop this madness or I am calling the police.

I am done talking to them. Tear this place apart!

Stop this!

Stop or I am calling the police!

Stop fighting!

I am calling the police! Call the police now!

- Look at the rashes! - You can simply hit someone.

- Stop it! - It's wrong to hit someone!

We live in the nations with laws.

Before the truth is out,

causing a riot is against the law.

- Are you all right? - I am fine.

I don't know if the four of them are accomplices.

Look. They sprayed all over our shop.

This couple said the dress they bought gave the wife rashes.

It ruined their wedding.

First of all,

if you truly love your wife,

you should bring her to a hospital for the anti-allergy shot...

instead of wasting your time here.

Secondly, where is the wedding being held?

I will pay for everything today.

I am the CEO of Wen Da.

I will get to the bottom of this.

I will give you an explanation.

I will prove Glamourous' innocence.

Let's go.

- Bring them to the hospital. - Okay.

Let's go.

Come on. Let's go inside.

Let's go.

Ya Yi, clean yourself up.

Why are you paying them?

They clearly here to make a mess.

Which is why we can't let them have it their ways.

There is a crowd here.

What if someone make a rumour out of this?

And I want to know if they are really having a wedding.

I must find out who the mastermind is.

I will get this resolved As soon as possible.

Don't let these people spoil our mood, okay?

You look beautiful in the wedding dress.

If I say I do,

can we finally be together?

Honey, please stop with the tantrum,

and let me carry you up.

Every time the Earth goes a round,

I will love you even more.

Even when the world is changing,

I won't change my love for you.

I will...

be with you.

Let me carry you up.

Every time the Earth goes a round,

I will love you even more.

Even when the world is changing,

I won't change my love for you.

Your brother picked his wedding ring here.

Have a look.

These are all designed by renowned ring-maker.

Our lady here is most elegant, you will find one that suits you.

May I know which are you looking for?

- How about the ear-ring? - Okay.

They all look so good.

You can give it try.

You have a good eye.

These are all new designed from our designers.

'Discovering The Brilliant Love' series.

The diamond is cut with kaleidoscope patterns.

Both the shine and the brilliance are very gorgeous.

Each of the diamonds are unique.

It symbolize the eternal love.

- The meaning is good. - Which should we get?

- We will take both. - Okay.

No!

- It's okay. - What are you doing?

Thank you.

Okay, a moment please.

I am starting a business. Money don't come by as easily now.

Those from the operations just told me that...

we will need a great amount of funding later.

It's okay.

Leave the financing to me.

Hello?

What are you doing now?

I have something to attend to. At the mean time, shopping.

Why didn't you go to Xin Bao Rui instead?

Mention my name and you can get it for free.

Do I look like someone that is so petty?

Very well, enjoy yourself.

Remember, we will have a lunch together.

I know that.

- Goodbye. - Goodbye.

What is going on here?

Call the ambulance now.

- Call the ambulance. - How did this happen?

Mr. Ning, have you seen the news on Weibo?

- What's wrong? - Grace fell from the staircase.

She was sent to the hospital. This looks just like her.

- How did this happen? - I don't know either.

I will find out which hospital she is in.

- Send me the address later. - Mr. Ning!

Mr. Ning!

Mr. Ning.

The doctor said only her leg was sprained.

No damage to the nervous system.

She will be fine. Don't worry.

Those who sent her here,

did you thank them for me?

It's done. They left just now.

Mr. Ning.

Do we need to transfer her to a better hospital?

We will wait until she is awake.

Right, head back to the office now.

Monitor the situation at the shops.

Inform me if there is anything unusual.

Sure.

This must be hard for you.

You took a slap for Lin Qian.

I am fine.

- Where were you hit? Let me see it. - I am fine.

Does it still hurt?

If you ever meet this situation again, inform me at once.

I will come to you right away.

I was...

I panicked when it happened.

I don't even know what to do.

I just stood there.

It was Qian Qian who came and solved the situation.

Not even my parents have hit me before.

They never laid a finger on me.

- Fine. - How could he hit me?

I swear on my life.

If anyone ever hurt you again, I will show no mercy on them.

Okay?

Where were you hit? Here?

What was that for?

A kiss is the best pain-killer.

Get lost.

You are awake.

Water. I need water.

Right away.

Fine, stop moving.

You sprained your leg.

The doctor adviced you to rest well.

- Any stitches on the leg? - No.

You got lucky this time.

I am glad you didn't get any concussion.

Stop playing with your phone while walking.

Are you okay?

I wasn't using my phone.

That day,

I think someone pushed me.

Someone pushed you?

How did you fell so hard from a single push?

But there wasn't anyone at the stair that day.

Did someone do this on purpose?

Do I really need to stay?

Of course.

My goodness. I just the got the email from headquarters.

They are...

going to talk to Lisa as soon as possible.

They have found some problems.

They want me back as soon as I can.

I thought I could go back at once.

I could have helped Glamourous.

All right, save the works for later.

Rest well and get healed.

- Hello? - Mr. Gu.

The mortgage loan is expiring soon.

I called to remind you.

Okay, I will pay it in time.

Very well. Thank you for your time. Goodbye.

Why did you ask for me?

Congratulations, you are one step closer to be the editor in chief.

Grace is hurt. Is this your doing?

I never said that.

Next, I need you to shut out Glamourous with H Magazine.

I have a new scoop.

Fabric from Glamourous caused rashes to the bride.

It ruined the wedding.

I have seen a fair share of vile plots for business gains.

But you actually harmed someone's life.

You are too evil.

My middle school teacher wore glasses.

The collar of his shirt was always clean.

No one would have thought...

he is a murderer.

So, not all those who smiled at you...

are the good guys.

They might be evil as well.

Goodbye.

Stay in my place, your place or a hotel?

Let go of me!

Listen, you need to work with me.

Otherwise I am uploading the videos.

Most importantly,

I make someone fall down the stairs.

I can send someone to hell.

No! Let go of me!

Sure, I got it.

Qian, we now know what happened yesterday.

That couple were having a wedding.

I sent Monkey to tail them They never left their home.

If they are not having a wedding,

why isn't this news on the internet?

This is not Peter's style.

Ever since Peter joined the market here,

he has been absorbing the shares of Si Mei Qi and other companies.

It may seem like a partnership,

but his true intention is to conquer the market.

He pointed the fault to you.

Perhaps there is a greater plan in place.

I read the latest issues of H Magazine.

This is basically a booklet for DP's product.

Hello? Monkey?

Mr. Gu's car is now at Peter's house.

He just went in there.

- Are you sure it's his car? - I am sure.

Do you need me to stake out at Peter's house?

Never mind, I will handle it.

Okay. Goodbye.

Gu Yan Zhi is meeting with Peter.

Why?

I don't know either.

But he rarely comes to the office now.

I wonder what he's been doing.

Why are they meeting now?

Brother, it has been ages since you have a breakfast here.

What brings you here today?

Nothing in particular. Jin Yuan,

how is the app going on?

Well, it's not what I expected.

But it wasn't too bad either.

It failed?

Brother, can you not ask so much of me?

This is the first time for me. One step at a time.

You should ask Gu Yan Zhi for advice.

He is more experienced.

Him?

He seems busy lately.

He put on a long face all day.

I don't want to bother him.

- How are you two lately? - Not bad.

You never care much about my life.

Why are you so concerned now?

Brother.

Did something happen to him?

No, all is well.

I was just asking.

Trust me,

Gu Yan Zhi is the most loyal employee of whole Wen Da

We must trust him.

Did he disobey you recently?

If so, let me know.

We are doing well lately.

Sure. Dig in.

Watch out.

The elevator broke down?

- Yes. - How long will it take to be fixed?

It's hard to tell. About an hour perhaps.
