Yeah, Lana managed to escape the van,

and that's when the photo was taken.

She was too weak.

She couldn't get very far before Mave
grabbed her again.

So did Mave do this for herself,
or for her brother?

It's hard to say.

They're both so twisted
from their childhood.

They both wanted a proxy
to hold on to and torture,

just like their father abused them.

And it explains why Lana is still alive.
