fighting in a terrain ideal for guerrilla warfare a country half bleak

Tito have prevented the total occupation of the Balkans in order to slam the door against an Allied invasion of southern

Europe Hitler determines to stamp out once and

for all a stubborn partisan movement for this final offensive the Germans masse

200,000 troops supported by crack Panzer units by the Italian army and by pro-nazi factions in Yugoslavia the

Chetniks and news stations against this seemingly invincible war machine an

obscure and poverty-stricken people has nothing but its own courage its own will to survive outnumbered 10 to 1 they

battle without planes or tanks their only weapons are the captured guns of

the enemy an epidemic of typhus breaks out in their ranks they march with her
