When you work with someone for a long time, you really get to know them.

They're not just colleagues, you're friends.

You get the rules drilled into you, but in the end though, you kind of hear the same things over and over and maybe you.

You become deaf to them.

I've always said that it was experienced that teaches you more than anything else.

I mean, you know why the rules are there.

It's just that the people who write them sit in an office all day long and don't have to do the job that we do.

How are we going to work safe?

Fans of the complete area and all the tools that will be used are touched with line yards.

So you'll work out which ones you think are going to save your life and you'll follow them.

Sometimes it feels like it's just ticking boxes.

You're not reckless. It's not like you knowingly take risks, but you want to get the job done as quickly as possible.

Yeah. One of the hydraulic control valves was leaking and we needed to fix a new hose end.

Nice wrong one. Got the room paced.

Unfortunately, we'd brought up the wrong one, so one of us had to go down to get another.

It's a bit of a pain going up and down the ladder.

We're going to toss for that.

It would make sense for me to at least dismantle the unit whilst he was gone.

This is why we are focusing on communicating how dropped objects can represent a serious danger.

This program is an odd registration of our life-saving rules which are absolutely non-negotiable.

We all know that accidents do not happen by chance and it's everybody responsibility to make sure that he or she

and their colleagues remain free from the risk of injuries at all times.

Remember, it's not only competence and planning of the activities that are necessary to guarantee a safe working environment.

We need a personal commitment of everyone in reporting on anything we feel unsafe.

Whether it's the way we work, the environment nearby or the condition of the tools and equipment that we utilize or operate.

It's our duty to intervene or even to stop the work if necessary.

Safety is not about chance, it's about choice.

Even small objects can be lethal when dropped from height.

let's not leave it to the chance.
