First all

I would to ask Dr

Mandouh about the of large such

as MSD Animal Health

in the field of awareness towards

One Health and the concept of

One Health

and the role of social participation

or the concept of social participation

in general

The idea of One Health is

an old idea

I think it was started by

veterinary maybe since 1850

This idea developed later and it

became the idea of One Medicine

It started with the that some

diseases are transmitted from humans such

as trichinella

and spirulina to animals and then

the idea of One Medicine

It started to develop now in

a big because all international such

as FAO

WHO

the World Organization of Animal Health

and the United Nations started to

invest in this

because the idea of One Health

is a simple but very important

idea

It simple because we

as humans

with animals

with the environment

we are the create health in

general in this world

So

if humans today can transmit some

diseases to animals and animals can

transmit some diseases to humans

if we do deal with the

environment in a good way

there may be a problem

that comes from the inactivities of

the animals in the environment

may be vegetables in some of

the contamination and things like that

So

of the idea of One Health

is an old and very important

idea

Participation is very important because I

think it is an important of

the interaction

between the private sector and the

state

Sometimes the private sector has some

capabilities

so it must help and this

is what we thought about in

the past periods

how we as a company can

help and we with a simple

because when we talk about the

part related to veterinary

it is a part related to

food security in general

Food security because we want to

produce a of

to meet the existing which is

increasing little little at the level

of Egypt and the world

We want to produce safe food

which means that there are no

diseases that can be transmitted

such as milk

meat

dairy

or whatever

The third thing is the resistance

to antibiotics

because the resistance to antibiotics

when we to talk about Corona

we started to find that there

are many that humans cannot treat

with antibiotics

because the resistance to antibiotics does

not bring a result

Because there are some residues that

we use antibiotics sufficiently

so we chose among these things

to focus on antimicrobial resistance

resistance to antibiotics

I think this is a good

and the Petra College of Medicine

I think it is a project

that started in the dogs and

will continue

of the Faculty of Veterinary

in research projects in general

which aims to find solutions to

solve problems in the veterinary

which ultimately reflects on the health

of the human being

It not only the faculty's

it is the state's as a

whole

represented in the strategy of the

Ministry of Higher

Research projects and research that are

produced

by universities must have an applicable

or a part that reflects on

the service of society

No one benefits from research or

research projects

and in the end it will

be put on a shelf in

a library

so it will benefit society

Therefore

the state's is to expand research

projects

that have an applicable part or

that reflects on the service of

society

Therefore

this is strategy

The faculty

in the past few years

has conducting surveys for needs of

the society

and on the basis of begins

to put research plans

and to scan research projects

on a problem that has arisen

in recent days

or a prediction that is expected

to occur

Therefore

is being surveyed for solutions

These solutions can be a new

diagnosis

a treatment

awareness of society

new means of transport

especially as we speak about One

Health

within One Health

and its impact on the environment

itself

When the temperature rises

it changes the behavior of the

pathogen

so it produces some pathogens that

are more resistant

so it does affect the antibiotics

that are used

or the hazard of using antibiotics

on a pathogen

can affect the behavior of the

pathogen and make it more resistant

All of this

through our research projects

to have a goal that reflects

either a part of an that

benefits from it as a product

or a that reflects the service

of the community

Life is a great

and the most important thing I

see

as you said

is that not every research project

is a research project

but it must be correlated or

related to a problem that we

live in

or we predict its existence

so that we have the results

that can help us overcome it

in the periods

our strategy is we look for

resources for scientific

is to be aware of the

risk of antibiotic resistance in general

and some antibiotics in particular

because it has a bad on

humans

Now I would like to add

what Dr

Mamdouh

on the basis of cooperation between

the private and research centers

The food safety system we have

today

is one of the protocols that

are being applied in the investigation

on drug applications in dairy or

red meat

And this is a important point

because if you want to export

you must have certificates that prove

its

Therefore

today I call on the production

sector in industry

to cooperate with the research sectors

and at the time

we try to reduce the use

of antibiotics

and use them as necessary

I advised the Baytariyeen

that today the use of antibiotics

should be under control

It is not easy to use

antibiotics

because most of the doctors use

it

to treat secondary infections

Therefore

today in viral diseases

should be in hurry to use

antibiotics

Make sure that it is a

bacterial

and therefore

when you do a sensitive

you must follow the antibiotic

At the time

duration of the treatment

which is to be from 7

to 10 days

should

which is the course of antibiotics

do not be hasty after three

or five days

because it is one of the

factors that help the resistance of

the antibiotics in use
