inside the mesa.

I got to try an entirely different beacon.

PETE: This is the terrestrial laser scans we did.

-TRAVIS: It does go into a cone. -KALEB: Whoa. Look at that.

TRAVIS: We're all inside it.

How many drones did you bring us this time?

-A thousand. -A thousand!

(drones whirring)

They hit each other.

-Did you hear 'em hit? -Yep.

TRAVIS: What could be causing that?

ERIK: There's a lot going on here, guys.

I'm gonna play this through.

-TRAVIS: Wow. -This is really interesting.

-Yep. I saw it. Yep. -THOMAS: Oh, yes! Look, it's right there!

TRAVIS: Yeah. There you go. I'm seeing

maybe a formation flying event.

That is just unbelievable.

ALEX: So, a transmitter.

THOMAS: Cool. Well, I say

we get it installed and get it back up

TRAVIS: This morning, the team from Mark Construction Drilling

needed to make another repair to the drill

that we hope will finally help us figure out

just what is buried in the mesa on Skinwalker Ranch.

For nearly two months, we've been struggling to drill

the first of two boreholes up through the mesa

on either side of a massive, dome-shaped object

that is surrounded by several smaller anomalies

that may all be composed of metal.

And once these holes are completed,

we'll insert scanning devices to better study and determine

what these anomalies are.

ALEX: Full battery.

Uh, calibrated. Everything should be

-good to go on it. -THOMAS: Awesome.

Hey, guys, you got a copy down there?

Yeah, Thomas, go ahead.

THOMAS: Just letting you guys know

they're just about ready to continue drilling.

-Copy you, Thomas. -TRAVIS: Let's hope this new beacon works.

During our drilling operation in the mesa,

the drilling team has been plagued with strange setbacks,

including drill rods breaking

after making contact with the anomalies.

And their drilling beacon has quit working over and over,

right when the drill bit reaches a spot

nearly 200 feet inside the mesa.

That's perfect.

Go ahead and just keep corkscrewing it on up, bud.

TRAVIS: The drilling beacon is a device inside the drill head

that sends a signal to a receiver on the surface.

This allows the team to track

the direction they're drilling in,

which is critical to our plan

to further study these anomalies.

So, hopefully, this new beacon will work

and we can get our first borehole completed.

Are you still showing good connectivity?

I'm showing good signal on it, yeah.

It's moving forward.

Yeah, I'm seeing that, dude.

ALEX: We definitely have been doing this a long time.

So, when we came down to Skinwalker Ranch

with full intentions of quickly punching through the mesa,

we sure didn't anticipate

snapping off rods and problems

with the receivers and transmitters.

I feel there's definitely something going on here.

I don't know exactly what it is,

but there's some activity here that can't be explained.

(grunts) This locator's a lot harder to carry.

THOMAS: I'll update you guys as soon as we get on top

and we see whether or not he can still get a signal.

In recent drilling attempts,

we have lost contact with the beacon

at close to 200 feet inside of the mesa.

From what we've seen in the past,

I'm tempted to speculate that perhaps

that dome-shaped, impenetrable object

inside of the mesa itself

is acting like some kind

of electromagnetically active structure.

It could be interfering with our ability

to receive the beacon's signal and continue forward.

THOMAS: Hey, guys. You got a copy down there?

Yeah, Thomas, go ahead.

We have reached the last known spot

that they had a signal with the other one.

They're making better progress.

They're happy with their angle.

So far, so good.

TRAVIS: As the drilling operation inched closer and closer to that point

about 200 feet inside the mesa

where the other beacon just stopped working,

we were all anxious as hell to see if this new one

would finally get us past it.

We've been able to punch past that 240-foot mark.

It's struggling pretty hard

to, uh, drill through it.

It's real slow going right now,

but we are making progress and inching forward.

TRAVIS: What a relief to finally

drill past that spot inside the mesa.

Did we simply have mechanical failures

with the other beacons?

But with the power of this drill rig,

if this new beacon stays connected to the rig,

we're hopeful to get through the next 300 or so feet

and complete this first borehole very quickly.

-THOMAS: It'd be cool to finally punch through after all this. -ALEX: I know.

Nothing's working right now.

JARED: Feels like we, uh, broke a rod or something.

Hey, buddy, the head's not moving. Are you pulling back?

Yeah, I'm about five feet back already.

We broke somewhere.

We got to figure out where we broke now.

So, we have, like, 480 feet of steel in the ground

with the head.

TRAVIS: This rig is designed

to drill through solid rock with ease.

So, did it hit one of the anomalies in there?

And if so,

how much of a setback is this going to be?

Is that supposed to look like that?

ALEX: No, it is not, no.

TRAVIS: That used to go all the way to the other piece, right?

ALEX: Yeah.

We were hitting something pretty hard

somewhere right up in here.

So, the entire string with those rods

and with the drill head and everything

is in the mountain right now.

KALEB: How far in from right here are we?

ALEX: Uh, we're about four...

480, 500 feet. Right around there.

-So you'd have to dig a hole or what to get to it? -ALEX: Uh,

we have a fishing tool.

-Um... -A fishing tool. How's that work?

ALEX: It's shaped like a cone,

and it's got threads on the inside of it.

-Ah. -So I put it on the end of that

and I can run up in there and hopefully

catch a bite on the rod.

Assuming you can fish that bit out with th-this fishing tool,

what do you think is the time delay that that's creating now?

A day?

-Two days? -It's hard to say.

Just like everything else that's happened,

I guess we, uh, we-we wait.

But we're gonna get the steel out. That's what we're gonna do.

-Get it out. -JARED: We're gonna pull that out, get that broken rod off

and then continue to drill a hole through this mountain.

THOMAS: The more experiments we do,

the more we realize that whatever's in this mesa

is of extreme significance.

So, we have

more resolve than ever to figure out

what it is that lies inside that mesa.

we could be on top of discovering

a long-held secret here at Skinwalker Ranch.

that we've got to go get ready for.

While we were waiting for the drilling operation

to get going again at the mesa...

...Tyler Johnson, Preston Ward and their team

from a drone-based light show company named Sky Elements

came back out to the ranch.

-Here's Travis and Bryant. -TRAVIS: Their equipment was perfect

to help us with another major experiment we designed

to collect more data

where we've experienced a number of stunning phenomena

between the triangle and the east field canyon,

including a UAP

entering the mesa in the east field

and exiting moments later near the triangle.

-Oh! Right there! -Oh, my gosh!

TRAVIS: A month ago, using an infrared lidar scanner,

technologist Pete Kelsey

detected a massive cone-shaped anomaly

that covered an area stretching from the east field

all the way to Homestead Two

on the western side of the property

that was centered nearly 2,000 feet high

directly above the triangle.

Three, two, one.

And just last week, we had Sky Elements

attempt to launch a swarm of 1,000 drones

in a preprogrammed pattern of straight lines

right above the triangle.

-You see that? -BRYANT: What the hell is up there?

TRAVIS: But just after a UAP appeared in the sky,

only 200 of the drones could launch, and then struggled

-to keep their formations. -TYLER: We got a few

on the west side that seem to be misbehaving.

So when the sun goes down tonight,

we want to split the drones into two groups

and, along with our own instruments,

see if we can get more data on some

or all of these phenomena and figure out

if they are somehow related to one another.

So, I think the game plan is that, uh,

unlike the way we've done in the past,

where we've picked one site and we have, uh,

all the drone, uh, experiment

in one location, either here or in the east field,

tonight, we'd like to split it, and do both simultaneously.

-Yeah. -Got it. Easy.

TRAVIS: Okay, so, tell us what you brought for us.

TYLER: We've got 600 drones

that we're gonna fly directly overtop of the triangle.

Preston's gonna be the pilot over here.

We've got 400 drones that we're gonna take over

to the east field and we're gonna take KC over there

and he's gonna pilot over there and I'll be roving

back and forth to support both teams.

TRAVIS: Tonight,

the Sky Elements team will launch two drone swarms

equipped with specialized GPS tracking

above the triangle and the east field

in preprogrammed cylindrical formations.

Then, we plan to launch rockets

directly up through the center of each swarm

to see if the rockets or the drones themselves

make contact with anything strange in the air.

To look even closer for any anomalies,

Kaleb McEwen will be flying an FPV drone

all around the swarms,

which is equipped with an onboard camera.

While all that's going on,

Jim Royston will fly his infrared lidar drone

between the triangle and the east field

along the same path that we witnessed

the UAP fly in and out of the mesa

back in 2022.

And during the entire experiment,

we'll be using infrared and thermal cameras

which can visualize anomalies with temperature variations

that we might not be able to see with the naked eye.

Finally, we'll be monitoring an array of spectrum analyzers

to look out for strange energy spikes

and signals in the field while Erik

does the same thing from the command center.

Tonight, we're using more tools than ever

to figure out this place's secret.

So, hopefully, the effort will pay off

with some incredible revelations.

Well, I'm really excited.

The thought of putting that spiral, uh, drone configuration

up in the air at the same time at two locations that seem to,

for whatever reason, be connected--

who knows what we're gonna see when that takes place.

TRAVIS: Yeah. Okay, all right, let's go.

I have all the drones connected,

I have their flight paths on them.

I also was able to set the time,

so now we have a manual start time.

Perfect.

TRAVIS: Well, I've got the standard kit going.

I've got my gamma ray detector running,

I've got the spectrum analyzers going

and we've got the FLIR.

I got it set up on top of the Jeep.

We're-we're looking almost due north,

a little bit east.

So we're looking at the place on the mesa here

where we saw that UAP come in

-and go into the mesa -Oh, yeah. Yep.

and, you know, fly out down by the triangle.

So, I was hoping if something flies into the-into the mesa

while we're doing this, we'll catch it

-on the FLIR. -Perfect.

Whoa, what is that?

BRYANT: Whoa.

TRAVIS: Holy cow.

Oh. We got... Look right there, right there.

Just as we were getting ready to start the experiment,

I saw a UAP that looked very similar

to one that appeared in the sky

right before everything went haywire

with our drone experiment at the triangle last week.

BRYANT: I think it's gone now.

Hey, Erik, you copy?

Yeah, go ahead.

Hey, we just saw

kind of the same UAP fly across the sky

from, uh, west to east

right over the mesa here,

uh, as we saw the last time we were with these guys.

I was wondering if you had anything on the ADSB

or if you saw anything on any of the cameras.

Okay, let me tell you what we got on the ADSB. Um...

The closest aircraft would be about

24 nautical miles out at 35,000 feet.

And, uh...

I doubt that's a good match for what you're describing.

ERIK: Our ADSB transponder data receiver

receives the signals directly

from the aircraft in our airspace.

This object, whatever it is, is not broadcasting a signal.

In other words, it doesn't appear to be an airliner.

It is, in fact, at least, for the moment, unidentified.

Yeah, I-I don't think that's it,

and, uh, we don't see any other aircraft, either.

All right, well, uh, just letting you know.

Hey, we're getting close to, uh, getting started.

I'll let you know when we, uh, turn the trackers on

and, uh, when we're ready to launch rockets and drones.

TYLER: And we just lost 200 drones at the east field as well.

What the hell?

TRAVIS: It's like a repeat of our last experiment

with the Sky Elements drone team.

Just as we were about to start our dual drone experiment

between the triangle and the east field,

a UAP suddenly appeared over the east field mesa,

and just vanished into thin air.

And literally,

right after that, hundreds of drones

in both locations malfunctioned.

Did the UAPs that appeared tonight and last week

interfere with the drones?

If so, what were they, how did they do it,

and then, where the heck did they go?

THOMAS: The fact that we fought through this

last time you were here, and then, tonight,

the closer that we're getting to launch time,

the more unstable it's becoming

and the harder that it is to-to keep these connected--

yeah, i-it's just... it's-it's interesting to me.

PRESTON: Yeah, it's weird.

THOMAS: I don't know what's going on,

but it makes me wonder if what we're seeing

is electromagnetic interference or some type of radio frequency

that's jamming the signal at both locations.

These sights have shown that they could

possibly be connected through some of our experiments,

and they're both sights

where we've seen a lot of anomalous activity.

If these two locations are connected,

we're gonna have to get to the bottom of it.

were staying connected to the system,

I couldn't believe it.

The same thing happened last week at the triangle.

I put more access points on, that seemed to solve it.

They're a matter of minutes from starting the drone launch.

they just started to drop out of the sky.

We got them coming right down on top of the tents.

For these brief moments,

everything is complete chaos.

BRYANT: We're raining drones here, too.

We've had strange equipment failures

on Skinwalker Ranch before,

but it was insane that so many of the drones

were dropping out of the sky

just after both swarms launched at the triangle

and the east field.

KC: Cylinder forming.

Two more dropped.

TRAVIS: Several seconds later, our swarm in the east field

finally started to move into its cylinder formation,

but then, more drones continued to fall

every couple of seconds.

KC: Look at 'em.

-TRAVIS: It's raining drones. -BRYANT: We got drones dropping like crazy.

TRAVIS: We've had several fall, we got several

that are missing out of the formation.

Look at that!

PRESTON: Everybody stay back.

We have a massive amount being lost.

THOMAS: We just had catastrophic failure.

They're gonna hit the tent.

It looks like we're having major problems.

We have one drone that literally comes down

and starts to come inside the tent towards us.

So I took my coat off,

and as this drone was coming down,

I had to swat it to the ground

to keep it from hitting us.

Still got one right there.

Yeah, we still have...

-They're coming down behind us. -Yeah, yeah.

THOMAS: Where-where the hell's that one going?

TRAVIS: They're just coming out of...

That one just fell right out of the sky.

-BRYANT: -Oh, my God. -TRAVIS: Oh, it hit hard, too. Heads up!

TRAVIS: Was the massive cone causing all this,

or something else that we couldn't see?

There was no way to tell in the moment,

so I wanted to start

launching rockets to see if it would reveal

whatever was affecting the drones.

BRYANT: Dude, it could clobber us, dude.

I'll watch, you launch.

So we prepped our rocket at the east field as a cylinder

formation moved into position directly above our launchpad,

while Kaleb prepped another one over at the triangle.

TYLER: Travis, I'll let you know

as soon as we're centered over top.

-Show me 2D, please. -2D's up.

We're set. Almost in position.

-TYLER: Travis, I got five, four, -Almost there.

-three, two, one. -Almost there.

TYLER: You're good, send it.

TRAVIS: Do it, Dragon! Do it!

BRYANT: We just blew our igniter out.

TRAVIS: Crap!

Oh, heads up! Let's get out! Get out! Get out!

Look, you can see over there, they are, like,

dropping like flies.

KALEB: I'm gonna send our rocket in

three, two, one.

(device beeping)

Malfunction on our rocket as well.

Give me a couple minutes.

Their rocket didn't go either. Grab an igniter.

TRAVIS: When the rockets failed to launch in both locations,

as drones were still falling out of the sky,

it honestly seemed like the ranch--

or something on the ranch--

was completely shutting us down.

Nothing made any sense.

We're too close, we're too close.

BRYANT: I don't know if I want to run over there

-and put another... -I'll do it.

Give me an igniter. Give it, give it.

I'll do it.

TRAVIS: But while what was left of the drone swarm cylinder

was still directly over the launchpad

in the east field,

I wanted to get a rocket

launched up through there before the swarm began

its preprogrammed flight back to the landing area.

You go, I'll watch.

After our first attempt to launch rockets at the triangle

and the east field ended with inexplicable,

simultaneous rocket malfunctions,

I wanted to make another attempt

to launch a rocket up through

the drone swarm cylinder

in the east field.

After all these crazy drone failures, I wanted to see

if the rocket would hit or be affected by whatever

might be up in the air causing these things to happen.

Watch out-- another one coming down!

It's gonna take us ten seconds, 20 seconds.

We were quickly running out of time before

the cylinder would move away from its position

and complete its preprogrammed flight

back to the landing area.

BRYANT: Dude, I'm working on it.

TYLER: Travis, they're starting to move out of position now.

Even though the cylinder had moved away

from its position directly above the launch tower,

we still wanted to get a rocket up into the air

close to the drone swarm to see what would happen.

Uh, it's coming down. Something's wrong!

I don't see a chute yet.

Looked like it was in two pieces, though.

What the hell happened there?

I don't know! We just rebuilt that rocket!

It broke apart. How?

'Cause the chute came out. There's another piece somewhere.

I have no idea what caused the rocket

to break up in the air.

It sure didn't appear to hit anything.

So, did it collide with something

that just wasn't visible?

BRYANT: Oh, my hell, what just happened?

There's a nose cone with a chute attached to it somewhere.

Yeah, look.

TRAVIS: It just blew... it broke through the line.

They're coming down.

Now that all the drones are on the ground,

we finally have time to come out of the tent

and start examining.

And I have to say it looked like a battlefield

out on the triangle.

-Look at that-- pulverized. -PRESTON: Yeah.

THOMAS: There are crashed drones everywhere.

Honestly, I'm in shock right now.

I can't believe what I just witnessed.

Look-- you've got 'em in the tents.

I mean, this is like mass chaos.

Landing now, yes.

TYLER: This year we thought we were ready.

We brought out some new technology,

but even with all the experience we have, and all the shows

we do, I just couldn't believe what I was seeing.

We've never seen drones fall out of the sky like that,

and drones start to return to home in random waves.

TRAVIS: Two days later, after scouring through all

the video that we collected during the drone experiment,

Erik called us into the command center

for a video conference with Preston Ward

and Kaleb McEwen from Sky Elements

to review what he found

and to compare data.

You know, I... I've been thinking about this day

a lot, and we've got a ton of stuff to share with you guys.

We've learned a lot. So, we took

the-the logs, and we were able to plot where

the drones thought they ended up.

So, this is from the triangle.

Uh, you're gonna see them lift off here in a second.

And, ultimately, what happened

is the GPSs were spoofed, right?

So, they lift up, and then, immediately,

they thought they were over here.

-ERIK: What?! -TRAVIS: Whoa!

ERIK: Gosh.

That's the in... that's the in spot.

TRAVIS: That is the in point.

What are the odds that the GPS devices in the drones

at the triangle would reveal messed-up data

that showed the swarm

literally teleported

over to the east field canyon,

right at a spot we call the in point?

That's the exact spot where we witnessed a UAP entering

the mesa before exiting it near the triangle back in 2022.

It made no sense.

Except that it pointed, once again,

to a place on the ranch

where strange things keep happening.

Of all the places on the ranch for them to think they were--

exactly over the spot that we think is the possible

-in spot. -TRAVIS: Well, but here's-here's... Wait, here's

the important question.

At what height were these drones

when they immediately jumped to the other location?

So, it was right after they started moving

from that 30-feet mark is when

they really started to have issues.

So, the drones' GPS show they basically teleported

over to the east field mesa when they got

30-something feet?

Correct, correct. They instantly thought they were over here.

-Instantly. -The ranch is 512 acres.

If it was gonna be random, it could have put 'em anywhere.

Why did it put it there?

And at the exact same height

where we had the rocket blow up and we see the blob

-in the high-speed camera. -TRAVIS: That's right.

This is one for the books.

Two nights ago,

when the drone swarm that was launched

at the triangle reached an altitude of 30 feet,

which is right where we detected

a blob-like anomaly in 2022,

the drones' GPS data shows that they instantly moved

to a location more than half a mile away

in the east field near the so-called in point.

The spot where we recorded video

of a UAP passing through the mesa

and flying toward the triangle.

This is fantastic data. Absolutely fantastic.

ERIK: Yeah. So, Preston,

we have some additional material

that we want to share with you.

This is footage from the camera that's positioned

at the east field looking off towards the west.

PRESTON: All right.

TRAVIS: There goes the rocket.

BRYANT: Yep.

KALEB: Why did it disappear?

It went off of the camera angle.

No, no, no, in the middle of its flight.

-Oh, I didn't see that. -Go back.

ERIK: I'm gonna play through this.

TRAVIS: Where did it go?

And look at where that's at.

It's right in that same area above the petroglyph.

Well, that's actually right above

-the photogrammetry anomaly. -Yes.

TRAVIS: I couldn't believe it.

The rocket that was launched in the east field

disappeared for a moment right near the in point too.

And as Kaleb and Dragon pointed out,

this is also where we detected

a strange column-shaped spire in 2021

using photogrammetry,

which is right near

an ancient petroglyph on the mesa

that's meant to depict an interdimensional portal.

I'm not sure yet what the heck any of this means,

but holy crap, we got incredible data from this experiment.

Why does it disappear right there?

What did it go behind?

Where did the light go?

-Yeah, where did the light go? Yes, right. -ERIK: Mm-hmm.

So, walk it through there.

ERIK: Yeah, so I'm frame-advancing.

TRAVIS: Right there-- it's just gone.

This is fascinating.

It's a-a... a kinetic projectile

going through a spot

and it's blacked out so that we can't see it

and the light from it is redirected to who knows where.

ERIK: I'm gonna show you something that gives us a chance to get

an additional perspective on what we just watched.

This is the camera perspective from the triangle

looking back over the drone swarm on the ground

and here we have the cylinder in the air.

TRAVIS: Ah, yeah. I see, okay.

The rocket goes.

The rocket vanished.

And it comes back.

That's really weird.

Okay, back up down through that, Erik.

All right, I'm gonna take us backwards.

Gone. Comes back.

TRAVIS: It vanished behind something.

What did we just see?

TRAVIS: We may have documented our best evidence

of high strangeness yet on Skinwalker Ranch

during our drone experiment two nights ago.

Right after a rocket disappeared from site

for several seconds near the mesa in the east field,

the Sky Elements FPV drone did the same thing

at about 30 feet high above the center of the triangle,

right where we captured images

of the blob-like anomaly in 2022.

Did these devices pass behind invisible aerial phenomena?

Or did they disappear into them for brief moments?

And then, just seconds later, we captured a flash coming out

and then going back into the mesa.

What could explain all of this?

Especially given that these things happened

within the area where we recently detected

a massive cone-shaped anomaly

that encompassed the triangle and stretched all the way

from Homestead Two over to the east field.

-I got to take it backwards so I don't miss it. -Yeah, sure.

There's so much going on right now.

-ERIK: Something here. -TRAVIS: Keep-Keep going,

see what direction it's going in.

There's something coming out of and going back into the mesa.

Yeah, it looks like the out point.

TRAVIS: It is... Yes.

That is at the out point.

Just when you think it can't get stranger out here,

right as our rocket and the FPV drone disappeared

for a split second, a UAP-- or some kind of light--

jumped out of the mesa and then immediately back in

right at the out point where the UAP exited the mesa

and flew toward the triangle in 2022.

That's crazy.

So, the rocket goes up.

KALEB: Disappears.

TRAVIS: Right, and then it gets to apogee,

got a motor burn out then.

That's probably the chute charge.

KALEB: The drone disappears right there.

The drone disappears right there.

Then, boom, look at that, how fast that is.

-That's at the exit point. -It is the exit point.

That is absolutely the exit point.

What in the hell are we seeing?

Something's obscuring objects in both locations.

And while that's happening, we have drones

that suddenly appear over there.

-Or think they do. -ERIK: Yeah.

Preston, I think this is absolutely amazing.

And, uh, Kaleb, you flew your drone

right behind whatever it was.

You didn't see anything in the virtual goggles?

I didn't see anything through the goggles.

Everything was on that flight to normal.

anything quite like this.

have, you know, convinced me

there's a connection between east field canyon and triangle.

I think we have to follow up on that.

TRAVIS: That's a great point, Erik.

And I would include Homestead Two

and the mesa drill site as well.

ERIK: You know, I'm thinking,

given the possible connectivities

between different regions of the ranch,

you know, we really need to put something together

that spans as much of the ranch as possible.

If the east field's connected to the triangle,

if the drill site's somehow connected to all of this,

the homesteads, everything,

then, uh, that's-that's a great idea

to do a complete east to west experiment.

-I like it. -THOMAS: I like the logic of that because

as the weather turns and our investigation for the year

starts coming down to the... to the wire,

how would you pick one spot to really study?

And we've seen so much ranch-wide.

Well, that means we've got a lot of work to do in the meantime.

So I say we get to it.

the data that we got from this exercise

is definitely strange and, so far, unexplainable.

What took place to make those drones just fall out of the sky?

We definitely need to find some answers.

But I will tell you that we've witnessed and experienced

some of the most incredible things

I've ever seen on Skinwalker Ranch.

TRAVIS: As riddled with malfunctions as this drone experiment was,

it produced some of the most incredible data yet

that suggests there may be a connection between

all these hot spots where we keep documenting phenomena.

So, if we can incorporate all of these locations

into one grand experiment,

we might be able to finally reveal

just what that connection is.

ERIK: As we continue to witness

and to document these unusual phenomena,

these outlier events,

our search for a unifying explanation

will also continue.

We're operating under time constraints.

So, hopefully, our final experiment

will help us to put all of these different phenomena

under one umbrella, if you will,

and help us finally get some better informed answers.
