Thomas Winterton
arranged for us to meet

with a drilling team
from Mark Construction

to help us crack
one of the biggest mysteries

we've ever encountered
here on Skinwalker Ranch:

just what the heck
is inside the mesa?

ERIK:
So, guys, it sounds like

you're bringing some
capabilities that we've never

had out here in terms
of the horizontal drilling.

Yeah, so we'll-we'll have
the capabilities

to about 60,000 pounds of force.

-ERIK: 60,000 pounds?
-TRAVIS: Wow.

MIKE: With the machine
that we're bringing, yeah.

Now, if something stops that,
that's pretty crazy.

TRAVIS:
In the past two years,

we've conducted
two separate drilling operations

inside the mesa
where we've encountered

a 400-foot-long object

that seems to be
shaped like a dome.

Neither of the previous
drilling operations

could penetrate this thing.

I'm up against something
pretty hard right now.

TRAVIS:
But what really
stunned us was that

small fragments of metal
came out of the spoils pile.

They were composed
of similar kinds of materials

that NASA and SpaceX use

to protect spacecraft
from the intense heat

when they reenter
the Earth's atmosphere.

Oh, my.

TRAVIS:
And just one week ago,

ground-penetrating radar
expert Jan Francke

rescanned the mesa,
and he identified

several more potentially
metallic anomalies

around the dome-shaped object

that look a lot like
a possible debris field.

THOMAS:
We've gotten some data that
Erik's gonna share with you,

and we wanted to get
your thoughts on it

and kind of get a game plan
of how we would tackle this.

TRAVIS:
So now that Thomas
has found a team

with a much more
powerful drill rig,

we're gonna conduct
a more strategic operation.

Our plan is to collect
as much data as possible

about this dome-shaped object

and the other anomalies
around it.

Then, perhaps we can
find a way to excavate them

and figure out
what they actually are.

ERIK:
Now, let's take a look at this.

Our GPR expert has
post-processed the data

and given us, really,
a three-dimensional

-representation
of whatever this is.
-ALEX: Wow.

ERIK:
We expect to be able to punch
through right up beside.

We don't want
to go into this thing.

'Cause we don't know what it is.

TRAVIS:
What if it's something
important or dangerous?

ERIK:
Yeah. You're gonna come in

and hopefully maintain
a-a distance

from this feature to the east

and, hopefully, to the west,
so that we can then

bring instruments
into that cased hole,

that, uh, borehole,
and study it from both sides.

We've decided, rather than
to drill into the structure,

we should create boreholes
on both sides of the anomaly

that will provide
instrumentation access

inside the mesa, very near to
but not penetrating into

the anomaly itself.

I have in mind to insert
active and passive instruments,

some of which simply measure,
others of which

may even broadcast signals
into the anomaly

in order to study its response.

This will give us an opportunity

to better understand
whether it is of natural

or possible
technological origins.

Do you mind

ERIK:
Uh, s-- Go for it.

All right, so, we've cleared
out an area right here.

The goal is to come up

and go as close
to the dome as we can.

It'd be really nice
if we were able to bring

a second drill hole up like that

and allow these guys the ability
to-to put equipment down

and almost X-ray, if you will.

ERIK:
You know,
you're creating an asset for us

to study what could be
a very interesting thing

inside the mesa.

THOMAS:
Now we need your guys' thoughts

on the logistics part of this.

MIKE:
We never know what we're getting
into until we're on-site,

'cause every-everything's
underground,

but it's definitely doable.

One thing that
we would need to know

is-is the smallest-sized hole
that would be able to obtain

the equipment
you guys are sending up there.

ERIK:
So, Mike,
what are the increments?

What are the size increments
of that borehole?

So, our pilot hole will be
a six-inch diameter hole...

-Okay.
-...um, and stepping up, uh,
four inches at a time.

So, we'll go six-inch, ten-inch,
14-inch, 18-inch.

TRAVIS:
Working up to 18 inches

for each borehole
would be perfect.

So if you can do that
on both sides,

we can put a transmitter
on one side

and a receiver on the other
and go up through there

with, like, a robot or a,
or something, and pull it...

-ERIK: Pull it through.
-...uh, up through there.

-Okay.
-TRAVIS: The big thing is,

we don't want the pipe
to be conductive,

because we need to use
radio waves, microwaves,

gamma rays,
everything we can think of

to try and shoot
through this thing and...

-Send a signal through it?
-...and-and figure out
what it is.

MIKE:
Yeah, it's gonna be

a concrete gel-based, um,
casing that we put in.

Okay.

If everything goes
according to plan,

we will have two holes

that would enable us to perform
something akin to an X-ray,

or a CAT scan, of that anomaly,

and really give us
an understanding

of whether we're dealing
with a natural feature

or something
far more interesting.

TRAVIS:
We've been told
all kinds of stories about

UFOs flying
into the mesa and out.

The alien bases
and, you know, crazy stuff.

We don't have any evidence
that any of that's real.

But what we do know
is there's something weird

inside the mesa.

Well, I'm anxious
to get out there

over the next few days
and get set up

and get your assessment of-of
what can be done out there.

Couple days after our meeting,
Mike Seriani,

Alex Swanson and their team
from Mark Construction Drillers

came back to get our operation
started in the mesa.

MIKE:
We'll get the drill unloaded

and meet you out there.

THOMAS:
I'm really excited

because we can finally
be able to get a clear picture

of what lies in
and around the mesa.

In the past,

we've pulled metal
out of the mesa,

so the thing
I'm looking forward to most

is figuring out
what is that metal from

and how did it get there?

Is there still a cavern
or tunnel in there?

Is it gonna show this big dome?

After years and years
of hearing stories

of things being inside the mesa,

who knows what else
we'll find in there?

You're ready to rock, huh?

-Yeah.
-You gonna use
the same drill hole

from last year or are you
gonna create a new one?

No, we're gonna create our own.

So, we'll go in
just to the-the right

of the existing one and make
our own hole the whole way.

THOMAS:
Okay.

-We'll get out of your way.
-Yeah.

You let us know if there's
anything you need from us.

TRAVIS:
Awesome.

The team will start
the first of two holes

across the road
to the south of the mesa,

and then drill
a six-inch-diameter borehole

that will track upwards
and trace along the eastern side

of the dome-shaped object

until the bit breaks through
at the top of the mesa.

Once both six-inch holes
are completed,

the team will widen them
to 18 inches

and then coat them with
a concrete-gel-based sealant

that will allow us
to insert imaging

and energy-detecting devices
to hopefully identify

what this dome-shaped object is.

And in order to collect
the drilling spoils,

Thomas is digging a pit
to catch them

right at the base of the mesa

so we can look
for any more fragments

of metal
or other strange materials

that the drill may encounter.

-Hey, Alex.
-How's it going?

-You got your beacon running?
-Yes, sir.

ERIK:
Okay, and so,
we're gonna monitor you

from over here on the side.

All right, well, it looks like
we're ready to start poking in?

-Yep.

JARED:
Fire in the hole, huh?

ERIK:
Just behind the drilling head

on the end of that rod,
we have a beacon.

It is an electronic device
that broadcasts a signal

up through the mesa
to the receiver

and provides information
about the elevation,

the direction-- or inclination--

as well as the temperature
of the drill head itself.

This is very important to guide
this otherwise blind operation

taking place inside of the mesa.

So, Travis, you're monitoring

for that beacon signal
on that drill head?

Oh, absolutely.

-ERIK: Is that him?
-TRAVIS: That's him right there.

So, it's 3605.

ERIK:
The RF spectrum analyzer
enables us to monitor

the signal coming out
of that beacon.

We can pinpoint
the exact frequency

that it is broadcasting.

They've got the bit
to the right level

and they're gonna--
about to punch

into the main wall
to go up into the mesa.

ERIK:
All right, well,
this is where things start

-to get interesting.
-BRYANT: Yep, for sure.

Oh, look over here.

Holy crap. Look at this.

We're detecting
a different signal

from the one coming
from the drill beacon.

Let's listen to it.

ERIK:
Okay, what frequency
are you at on that one?

-31 megahertz.
-All right.

TRAVIS:
It's coming
from inside the mesa,

right at the drill site.

What in the hell is that?

TRAVIS:
What in the hell is that?

It's coming from
right at the drill site.

And it's not the beacon.

-What is that?
-Yeah, you can see
where the beacon is

because it's that constant thing
across it.

TRAVIS: Just after the drilling
operation got started,

almost immediately,
we detected a strange signal

at about 31 megahertz that

our antenna showed us was
coming from inside the mesa.

I don't know what that is,

'cause I've never seen
a signal like that before.

It definitely wasn't
the drilling beacon

that we were already tracking.

So, could it possibly
have been coming from

the dome-shaped object itself?

I don't understand any of this.

JARED:
She's not wanting to move.

ALEX:
No?

JARED:
Well, I don't know man.

It's not moving very well.

THOMAS:
You can hear that drill's
hitting something hard.

It keeps going up.

So, I've climbed
13% from back there.

THOMAS:
We were only drilling
for a short period of time

and already
the bit is being pushed up

too steep inside the mesa.

Which means, unfortunately,

they're not able
to steer this bit around

like they would like to,

just like we've seen
in other exercises

drilling into this mesa
in the past.

ALEX [on walkie]:
She doesn't want to go down,
huh?

Nah, no. She don't want
to go down at all.

I mean,
we're scraping on something.

Just climbing like crazy.

[signal static]

Every time I try
and tune into it,

the signal coming from the mesa
spreads around.

That sounds just like
what we heard in the east field.

TRAVIS:
That's exactly right.

A few weeks ago,

during an experiment
about a half a mile away

in the east field canyon...

Oh. What was that?

...we detected
a similar radio signal

that sounded to me like
a possible communication signal.

I think it's two things
talking to each other.

And it was also coming
from inside the mesa.

Right where we've seen UAPs
actually entering the rock face

and then reemerging on the other
side near the triangle.

I've never seen a signal
like that for any reason.

Was this
the same kind of signal?

If so, what might that indicate
about the dome-shaped object?

All we could hope was
that this drilling operation

would help us figure it out.

THOMAS:
It's really just
basically right below

-the rock you're standing on?
-ALEX: Yeah.

So, you want me
to pull this back?

Hey, Erik. You got a copy?

Yeah, go ahead, Thomas.

We've encountered
some, uh, circumstances

over here with this drill.

Uh, we'd like to come down
and visit with you about it.

Well, that sounds foreboding.

TRAVIS:
We were all anxious to find out

what the problem was
with the drill,

especially since it happened
right after we detected

that strange signal
from inside the mesa.

-So, what is up, guys?
-THOMAS: They haven't
been achieving

the direction that they want.

Oh, wow.

We were about nine-foot-deep

and got another two rods in.

Um, we're still trying
to push it down,

but whatever it is,

we're just scraping on it
and chasing it up.

TRAVIS:
Wait, so you're-you're saying

you're hitting something,
and it's pushing the bit up?

-ALEX: Yeah.
-THOMAS: At the rate he's going,

he'll pop out before he's even
halfway up the hill.

Oh, really? How deep were you
when you started hitting this?

-Uh, probably about 40-feet.
-Wow.

TRAVIS: Well,
that's just inside the mesa.

ERIK:
So, what kind of force

or pressure
are you guys at right now?

Anywhere between
12,000 and 14,000 pounds.

Holy crap.

So, what in the hell
have we hit there?

Something hard that's just
keeping us right on top of it.

We're not able to punch into it,
we're just scraping up it.

When have we heard that before?

TRAVIS:
Hearing from Alex
that the drill bit was

hitting something
it couldn't penetrate

and was just
scraping alongside it

was like déjà vu all over again.

AARON:
We're just hitting something

really, really hard.

And we're at
8,000 pounds of push.

THOMAS:
Guys, you got a copy?

Go ahead, Thomas. We hear you.

It's just pushing up
higher and higher.

TRAVIS:
Because that's exactly
what happened

to both of
the previous drill rigs

that attempted to break through
the dome-shaped object.

And this rig was applying
twice as much pressure.

But what's really strange is

that they shouldn't have reached
the dome-shaped object yet.

According to our GPR data,

it's at least 100 feet deeper
inside the mesa.

So, does that mean
the drill hit one of

the other objects
detected around it?

So, are you thinking
you're gonna have to

come all the way out with it

and then move left or right
or something?

We're probably gonna pull it
all the way out,

back the drill up a little bit,

and try and get
a little bit deeper.

-Get under whatever that is?
-Maybe get under
whatever it is, yeah.

Okay, so we'll
suck out the spoils pit.

And then back the drill out,

Well, let's go check the spoils
and see what's in them.

THOMAS:
After all the metal flakes
that we found

a couple of years ago,

I'm really eager to look at
this spoils pile

and see if there's anything
indicating that we're drilling

into the same metallic object
that we did from two years ago.

TRAVIS:
All right, so now we're down
to the sludgy stuff.

JARED:
With the bit
we have on there now,

it grinds the material
down to smaller pieces.

That's good to know.

There might be metallic flakes
in there instead of chunks.

BRYANT:
You seeing anything
like the sort?

TRAVIS:
No, I don't think we are.

-You got something?
-Might be.

We may have found something
here, hang on.

Oh... maybe.

This does look like metal.

We are examining the contents

of the spoils pit
from the drilling operation.

One thing does stand out

and that's
a small metallic fragment

like we saw about two years ago.

Could this be some part
of what we've been describing

as a debris field
inside the mesa?

And that's what makes it
interesting to me.

-It's an eventful day.
-THOMAS: I know that

we're gonna be
starting over again.

But we got data out of it,

so, I guess we call it a day

Our day of drilling at
the mesa may have ended,

but as sundown was approaching,
we regrouped at the triangle

for a nighttime experiment

with our friends
from Nu-Salt Laser

and technologist Pete Kelsey.

Well, it's good to have you
back out to the ranch, Tim.

There's something
very interesting happening

in the space right
above the triangle.

-Okay.
-ERIK: I understand
you're bringing

more wattage this time
than the last time

you were out here with us.

TIM:
So, this year we actually have

eight total Laser Space Cannons,

and they're higher power,
so I would expect

we are definitely
gonna see something.

I love the idea of getting
more photons into the sky,

'cause, you know, that'll
help us to paint that space

and see if in fact
we get a repeat

of the things we've seen before
right over this triangle.

TRAVIS:
Just like in past years,

we've recently experienced
GPS errors, energy spikes,

and seen several UAPs
that were hundreds of feet

in the sky above the triangle.

Looks like wings.

Not like bird wings--
look like airplane wings.

And other UAPs

that literally disappeared
about 30 feet high,

right about where we captured
high-speed camera images

of a blob-like anomaly

back in 2022.

Specifically, Tim,

tonight, what we want to do is

surround the anomalous area
above the triangle

with all of the lasers.

That way,
if something does pass through,

it should hit
one of those lasers.

And then, we want to, uh,

pass a laser beam up through
the anomaly and hit a screen.

Tonight,
once the sun goes down,

the Nu-Salt team is
going to set up

several high-powered
Laser Space Cannons

that will shoot beams
of laser light

from the center of the triangle
all the way up

into outer space.

If we see
any breaks in the beams,

it might help us pinpoint

whatever might be responsible
for the anomalies

we've seen and detected

between the ground
and high altitudes.

And they'll also aim
an additional Laser Cannon

at a 12-by-8-foot
white screen

that Thomas will position
at the 31-foot mark,

using a lift.

Then I'll use a device
known as a spectrometer

to measure any variations in
the laser beams' color spectrum,

which could indicate
more evidence

of the blob anomaly.

So we're gonna look
all across the spectrum

with all of our sensors,
and hopefully we'll-we'll see

something in that spot again.

ERIK:
I know we've got a lot of
equipment to put out,

-so I say we get to it.
-Great.

TRAVIS:
All right, let's do it.

Also, to look out
for anything strange

that we won't be able to see
with the naked eye,

Pete Kelsey and Jim Royston
will be scanning

the entire triangle area
with aerial, infrared lidar

and thermal devices.

And all during the experiment,
we're also setting up

multiple cameras
that will be programed

to take long exposure photos

every few seconds
of the triangle,

so if anything passes
through those laser beams,

hopefully
we'll capture images of it.

THOMAS:
Good. We can have a new scan.

TRAVIS:
And, of course,
we'll be launching rockets

because a lot of
the really bizarre phenomena

that we've been seeing
during our investigation

here on Skinwalker Ranch
have occurred

just after we launched rockets
that were equipped

with GPS
and energy-detecting devices.

Coming towards ya.

ERIK:
Our objective with the one laser

that is directed at the target

is to determine whether
the light will be scattered,

diverted, or perhaps absorbed

in some way
that requires the presence

of some exotic
physical phenomenon.

-Oh, so it's that way.
-Towards the...

Yeah. Okay. I got it.

ERIK:
Given the fact
that we've recorded

what we've termed "the blob"

at about 30 to 40 feet
above the triangle,

we won't be surprised

if we see something
unusual happen

with that laser light.

It wouldn't be the first time.

it'll be at low power, Chris.

TRAVIS:
Tim, you guys about ready?

TIM:
Yeah, we're ready to go, Travis.

KALEB:

right there, right there?

TRAVIS:
I don't see lights on it.

KALEB:
I'm not seeing lights, either.

TRAVIS:
I don't see
aviation lights at all.

KALEB:
Yeah, I don't see any strobe.

TRAVIS:
I think that could be a UAP.

Yeah, I can barely
still see it moving

to the north and west.

It's gone.

TRAVIS:
We've seen
a lot of UAPs in the sky

during the last few years,

but as an optical scientist
who's worked with NASA

and the Department of Defense
on space technology

for more than three decades now,

this one looked bigger
and brighter than anything

we've ever documented
on Skinwalker Ranch.

It was even maneuvering
like a craft

for several seconds there,
but then it just disappeared.

All right.
Well, let's get going.

Okay, I'm gonna go
lift the screen up.

TIM:
We're all hooked up
and ready to go

and we'll energize it

when the backstop is
up in the air.

TRAVIS:
All I knew for sure was

that we needed to start
our laser, lidar,

and rocket experiment
at the triangle right away

to see if it reappears

or, given all the legends we've
heard about portals out here,

detect something
to explain why it vanished.

We've got--
Pete's ready over here,

Where are you gonna be?

ERIK:
I've got to get back over
to the command center

where I've got all
the monitoring screens up

-right now.
-TRAVIS: Great.

Well, I say we get to it.

ERIK:

Who knows
what might happen next?

TRAVIS:
Okay, guys, be advised,

big laser's coming on.

TIM [over walkie]:
Hey, Chris.

On the laser,

go ahead and slowly

bring up the power.

TRAVIS:
Yeah, that's bright.
Wow, that's bright.

Look at that.
Look at that right there.

Before the Nu-Salt team
turned on

the seven vertical laser cannons

that were positioned
around the triangle,

I wanted to test the one
we had aimed at the whiteboard

positioned 31 feet high.

That's right where we saw
the blob-like anomaly

that may have caused

a rocket to explode
back in 2022.

KALEB:
It's like staring at the sun.

TRAVIS:
While the laser canon
fired its beam--

which has a specific
spectrum of colors--

into the 31-foot zone,

I watched my spectrometer

for any changes in those colors

which might indicate
something strange

was in the airspace.

So you can see
the red, green and the blue.

Look at that.

Suddenly, it's gotten
brighter in the green

and dropped off in the blue.

Why would it be doing that?

This laser is programmed
to emit light

with no variation
in its brightness or color.

So when I saw the green light
was suddenly getting brighter

while the blue light
started to fade,

and then the colors
actually changed slightly,

that meant something strange
at about 31 feet was causing it.

So it was time for us
to use all of our tools

to identify just what it was.

I think we're at a point now

where we can start getting
the rest of the lasers

ready to go.

-Okay.
-TRAVIS: All right, Tim.

Uh, we're ready to start
getting the big lasers going.

TIM [over walkie]:
All right, Travis.

Let's turn on the lasers,
creating the circle.

I'd like to know
what you're seeing

around 1.6 gigahertz
over there on your antennas.

'Cause I do show a source
right behind Homestead Two.

All right, me and Dragon are
going to head back now

and check that, Erik.

We have a system
with five antennas

that we've deployed around
the ranch to monitor activity.

Now, I'm seeing
a 1.6 gigahertz signal

out in the west
near Homestead Two

just as we're performing
this experiment.

This is in fact
a location where we've seen

unusual things in the past.

Now, there's nothing
in that space

that should account for that.

Okay, I need to call Erik
and tell him he's right.

We're getting a signal
at 1.6 gigahertz

pointed at Homestead Two.

Hey, Erik, do you copy?

Yeah, Travis, go ahead.

You are correct.

I'm not getting that signal
on any of my antennas

except for the one pointed out
behind Homestead Two.

There is something coming
from that direction.

Travis,
that is really interesting.

I'm gonna keep an eye on that.

Just keep me advised
as to whether you see

any changes on that.

We still have
no idea what causes

these 1.6 gigahertz signals,

but we've been detecting them
on our spectrum analyzers

for the past few years,

and it's usually
right around the time

when we see UAPs

or experience other
strange things at the triangle.

So, since this 1.6 gigahertz
signal showed up

just after we had detected
something strange

with the lasers
above the triangle,

we wanted to kick
our experiment into high gear

to see what would happen next.

you're gonna run lidar, right?

as if something
redirected its course.

So, could it have been
the blob that did that?

Our lasers and rockets had
just detected

something in the 31-foot

blob zone at the triangle
when, all of the sudden,

Pete Kelsey noticed
that his aerial thermal drone

picked up a strange heat anomaly

several hundred feet
to the northeast by the mesa.

And that was right near the spot

where we captured video
last year

of a UAP flying out of the mesa

and straight
toward the triangle.

Was it there before the launch?

-PETE: Not that I noticed.
-Where, where?

Right here.

TRAVIS:
What the hell is that?

PETE:
That's just weird.

I was just panning around
and saw it.

That's almost
up at the base of the mesa.

TRAVIS:
I'll tell you what,

Dragon, let's jump in the jeep
and drive over there.

BRYANT:
That's a good idea.

TRAVIS:
We had no idea

what Pete had just detected,

but since that's
where we documented

one of the most
shocking events we've ever seen

on Skinwalker Ranch,

which also might be
connected to the triangle,

I wanted to get
over there with Dragon

to see if we could
figure out what it was.

PETE:
I got great visual
on you, guys.

BRYANT [over walkie]:
All right, so walk us in.

PETE [over walkie]:
You're-you're on a good line,

just keep-keep walking
that track.

So bear right a little bit.

Bull's-eye.

BRYANT:
Yep. It is a big rock.

PETE:
That's just weird.

It doesn't look like
any other rock around it.

TRAVIS:
I mean, I don't know
what-what to think of it.

It was definitely strange

that this massive
boulder appeared

as a major heat source
on Pete Kelsey's thermal device,

because other large rocks
right near it

were much darker, or cooler,
as we'd normally expect.

[singing]

But back in 2022,

we detected a strange heat
anomaly up on top of the mesa.

When they started singing,

the temperature
literally changed.

Look how hot it's getting.

And then saw two UAPs

actually fly into the top of it.

There's no geological reason
why this rock

would emit heat like that
and show up on a thermal scan.

All right, well, it was,
it was worth taking a look at.

So, it really left us wondering

what it is about this location

that would explain the hot rock,

especially since it's near
where we've seen a UAP

exit the mesa.

And why did it show up

right after something
caused our rocket

to veer off course
in the blob zone

at the triangle?

There has to be
some kind of connection.

As soon as Dragon and I got
back to the triangle,

we wanted to immediately launch
the last rocket we had

to see if it would go
straight up this time,

like it should,
or get diverted again.

above the triangle,

could to figure out what it was.

The rocket is going hot.

How did it go over there?

BRYANT:
I don't know.
There's hardly any wind.

Sure enough,

the rocket veered away

instead of going straight up,

as though something
pushed it off course.

Who knows what caused it,
but it was really weird that

the same thing
happened multiple times.

I don't see anything
weird or crazy.

Nothing out of the ordinary.

that last rocket launch.

out here at the tent.

One minute,
we're seeing and detecting

strange things
that we can't explain,

and then the next minute,
nothing.

Whatever was in that airspace

seemed to have suddenly
just vanished.

Just like some of the UAPs

we've recently seen.

Well...

Erik, did you see anything
in the cameras?

ERIK:
There were so many
different views,

um, I-I could've
missed anything.

But, uh,

if in fact we got anything
like that blob,

we should be able to run
some filters on it and find it.

You know, uh,
it's really interesting, uh,

at one point, we did pick up

a signal around 1.6 gigahertz
pointed at Homestead Two.

I got to tell you, that's been
really persistent tonight.

TRAVIS:
Yeah.

We got a lot of data, though,

'cause every time
we did something,

we had two drones in the air.

One doing thermal,

one doing lidar.

It was a lot to track.

We'll look at the data,
and after we absorb

some of that
and assimilate the data,

we'll reconvene.

-ERIK: How we doing?
-TRAVIS: All right.

We are just about to review

everything that happened during
the exercise with Nu-Salt.

In effect,
trying to probe the anomaly

directly above the triangle.

THOMAS:
That night was so crazy.

BRYANT:
That was quite an experiment.

TRAVIS:
The day after our multi-laser

rocket experiment
at the triangle,

Jim Royston, Pete Kelsey,

Erik, and I scoured
through our data,

hoping that we would see
something at 31 feet in the air

that might explain all
the strange things we detected.

But instead, we found something
that none of us were expecting.

So, near the tent,
you guys remember we had

a couple of cameras locked off

on the Space Cannon
beams going up.

-Yep.
-And they were set to take

a snapshot every so often,

and we found something
that is, uh, really odd.

ERIK:
Yeah, odd to say the least.

I can't explain this.

-THOMAS: Whoa.
-KALEB: No.

TRAVIS:
Yeah, looks like the beam
stops and then starts again.

So, if there was something
in there blocking the beam,

it wouldn't continue above it.

THOMAS:
How could it block out
the green and not the blue?

TRAVIS:
It doesn't make
any sense at all.

I've never seen anything
like this ever.

And if you look
at the ends of the beams,

the beams look rounded off.

ERIK:
Yeah, these do, certainly.

Here and here.

And it appears
that this is cutting into

the beam profile
on the left-hand side.

What-what could be doing that?

ERIK: I see that the green light
on the lasers directed skyward

has been affected by something
for which I have no explanation.

I'm not even sure
how it is possible

for this beam to be interrupted,

as we see in the image,
and then to resume.

This-this makes no sense.

I don't think any of us has
a good explanation for it.

And it didn't just happen
in one of the images.

-[laughs] Oh, no.
-BRYANT: You're kidding me.

THOMAS:
What?

ERIK:
So, here we see
unaffected, blue-ish...

TRAVIS:
Blue-ish and purple
lasers, right.

-And now, look. Look there.
-ERIK: Look here.

-Look near the top here.
-TRAVIS: Yeah.

Again, just the green,
just the green.

ERIK:
It's got that hard-edge
geometry on it.

I c-- I cannot explain it.
I do not understand it,

but there it is, and then, uh,
we have another one.

Look here.

THOMAS:
Yeah.

So, you see, we had this
in three different

long-exposure photographs.

And they're all at about
100 feet off the ground.

TRAVIS:
And, if we're running around
doing so much stuff,

we may not ever looked
at the right time and saw this.

Yeah.

TRAVIS:
The fact that we captured
three different images

of gaps in only
the green laser beam

showed that this
wasn't a camera error.

Something created
three different voids

in just the green laser beams

at a height of about 100 feet
above the triangle.

I guess the question is,
what is it that causes

this thing to show up?

Yes. I was just thinking,
"Can I make it happen again?"

TRAVIS:
How were you thinking
you'd make it happen again?

ERIK:
Well, I was just thinking
of really bright

infrared illumination,
you know, that I can control.

TRAVIS: Maybe we shine
one laser with the lidar?

-ERIK: Yes.
-We should also launch a rocket

through it while
we're doing the lidar.

ERIK:
Absolutely.

I want to understand
what just happened here.

TRAVIS:
We don't know if the voids

in the green laser were related
to the UAP that we saw,

or what caused our rockets
to veer off course.

But the experiment
was a success.

We now have a specific spot

to focus on for more experiments

that will hopefully lead
to some answers.

I love the idea of trying to see

if there's anything that can
stimulate to see it again.

-Yup. Yup.
-Yup. Yup.

I guess we need
to invite these guys back

-and bring those lasers
back here.
-ERIK: Absolutely.

Absolutely. I want to understand
what just happened here.

-I did not expect to see that.

We've seen
so many unusual things

happen here above the triangle.

It raises the question as to
what could be operating there?

What could be present
in that space?

Could it be related to something

in the UFO or UAP domain?

We can't dismiss it,
and that's tantalizing.

TRAVIS:
We don't know yet
how all the crazy phenomena

we keep seeing
and detecting out here

at Skinwalker Ranch might be
related to one another,

but after what happened
during this past experiment,

I think we have a lot more
evidence to suggest

that the triangle
and the mesa could be

the keys to figuring it out.

BRANDON:
The world's attention has been
drawn to Skinwalker Ranch.

The mesa and the triangle

have proven to be key centers
of gravity for high strangeness.

Utilizing a vast array
of equipment,

we've documented
the most compelling evidence

that there is something
very strange at play.

With so many
crazy events occurring,

we'll be focusing efforts
to get some answers,

to better document

the nature of what
we are interacting with

here at Skinwalker Ranch.
