EPISODE 10

You scamp,

what did you feed me?

The Nine Insanity Broken Heart Pill.

Within four hours,

without an antidote,

you'll be dead.

You...

If you want the antidote,

you'll have to exchange it for the Beast Talisman.

Alright,

but under normal circumstances,

the Bull Beast Talisman treasure room is heavily guarded.

Even if I can disarm the traps,

how do I get the Beast Talisman?

Don't worry,

there are only three people in the treasure room.

The strongest is Rang Yanzong, a Houtian martial artist.

I can lure him away.

Your only responsibility is disabling the traps.

Is one of the others Zhuge Jing?

That's right.

The other is Tang Rougu from the Tang Clan,

who's also a master craftsman.

Then I should go outside the mountains to retrieve my toolbox.

Otherwise, I won't be able to deal with him.

Where did you hide it?

I'll retrieve it,

you just stay here.

There's a crooked tree in the middle of three boulders not far from the mountain.

The toolbox is hidden between the boulders.

What are you doing?

I'm also giving her the Nine Insanity Broken Heart Pill.

You'd better not play any tricks,

or both of you will die.

Captain Mu,

how are you feeling?

Since you didn't take her poison,

you can leave alone.

Don't worry about me.

Don't panic,

I’ll find a way to get you out of here.

Done.

Captain Mu,

are you alright?

I was poisoned with a paralysis toxin.

My body is weak,

so you'd better leave quickly.

I'll take you out of here.

This is the paralysis toxin.

Which bottle is the antidote?

Please excuse me,

it should take about an hour to recover.

I'll look for the antidote for the Nine Insanity Broken Heart Pill too.

I've sent someone to get your toolbox.

You can follow me.

Sure.

The treasure room is over there.

I’ve arranged a meeting with Rang Yanzong to discuss about the Beast Talisman.

After we leave, you go in immediately.

Tang Ruogu is currently patrolling,

so Zhuge Jing is the only person inside.

Normally, he's absorbed in studying his mechanical creations.

As long as you don’t make too much noise, he won’t notice you.

Okay.

This place’s layout is complex.

I should find the antidote first

before helping Shen Wen.

The Tang Sect's mechanical techniques

seem identical to those used by the Wenxiang Sect rebellion last year,

as if both parties are working in cahoots.

According to Luo Qingning,

this room is where Zhuge Jing conducts his mechanical research,

while the other must be Mr. Rang's residence.

The Rang Family Tree.

Rang Luang?

This Six Harmony Beast Talisman is actually...

The person who kidnapped my father

is a rebel,

or perhaps...

What's this?

The Wenxiang Sect is plotting a revolt,

and the people listed above must be

those preparing to support Wenxiang Sect's uprising.

The Bull Beast Talisman isn't here,

so it must be on the other side.

Mechanical Beast?

Shen Wen,

why are you here?

Aren't you that...

that...

what's the name?

Zhuge Jing.

Farewell.

Don't panic,

Brother Shen.

I think we can have a talk.

Talk about what?

This thing.

Rang Yanzong told me it's a map.

But I studied it for three days.

Other than sensing some Qi in it,

there's nothing else I can figure out.

The craftsmanship is exquisite,

with fine, smooth lines.

It looks more like jewelry.

The knife blade is so sharp

it can cut a hair blowing in the wind.

It's more like a weapon.

The internal components are all interconnected,

forming a single piece,

making dismantling very difficult.

The exterior is neither gold nor wood

and can't be damaged by sword or knife.

It's also fireproof.

Shen Wen,

you and I are the same type of person.

We aren't on the same side.

Right now, I'm a Jinyiwei,

and you're a thief.

That's just a secular identities.

I came here

because of this Six Harmony Beast Talisman.

Are you feeling well?

Do you need to see a doctor?

Shen Wen,

you are not someone who's bound by the social status.

Come,

let's unlock the mystery of this Beast Talisman together.

Is it possible

the Beast Talisman is a weapon?

The perceived secrets

could be a scam.

That's impossible.

Putting so much effort

into creating this thing,

how can this be just an ordinary weapon?

Although I don't know the secret of this Beast Talisman,

the Qi it contains

can accomplish many things.

For example,

let's try this formation I just completed.

The paralysis toxin is almost been neutralized.

I wonder where Luo Qingning is hiding.

That's a quick reaction.

Hurry up and catch her.

She's an important prisoner.

Yes, sir!

Let's go together.

Yes.

How did she escape?

Lady Qingning,

how did you let her escape?

I don’t know either.

Let's capture her first.

You're useless!

That's good.

Let her create chaos to divert Rang Yanzong's attention.

This is...

from the granary direction.

I'll go check it out.

Can you escape?

The effects of the Nine Insanity Broken Heart Pill on Mu Siqing should happen soon.

I have to end this quickly.

If we're in the open area,

I won't be able to break your formation.

Unfortunately, we are underground.

As long as there's a roof,

the formation is nullified, trapping people.

Such a sneaky person.

You're too despicable!

Brother Zhuge is a master of formations,

and I am definitely not.

Then try this.

A dynamic landscape

fosters wisdom and transformation.

What's going on?

He actually took control of my mechanical beasts.

Well played,

Brother Zhuge.

How did you do it?

With other Qi,

I reversed the movement of the mechanical beasts' Qi.

Other Qi?

What's the meaning of this?

You saved him!

Lady Qingning.

You...

What about me?

Acting like a real Zhuge reincarnation,

projecting self-assured intellect and control.

I've tolerated you for a long time.

I'm tired of pretending.

Shen Wen, go kill him.

This...

It's not that easy to kill me.

Brother Shen,

I'll remember this life-saving grace.

I'll repay you in the future.

Why did you let him escape?

What if he informs Rang Yanzong later?

Don't worry.

Once we have the Bull Beast Talisman,

we'll just run away.

Rang Yanzong is a post-Haotian Martial Artist.

It's not that easy to escape from him.

Also,

did you help that Captain Jinyiwei escape?

What happened to her?

Her?

She helped me draw away some attention from me.

She's probably captured by now.

Nevermind,

Shen Zhi Zhi,

give me that Beast Talisman.

What's the meaning of this?

I didn't even swallow that pill.

That pill is not the poison.

The poison is from my lips.

What?
