(All people, organizations, incidents, and locations...)

(in this drama are fictitious.)

Don't do anything unnecessary.

I knew you didn't play by the rules,

but I didn't know you were so stubborn.

Explain to me...

what your relationship with Jeffery is.

He wants to use me.

And I want to get rid of him.

You say that, but your relationship seems so solid.

That's right.

It's very solid...

and sturdy.

That's because I have...

built it up that way until now.

I was a mere assemblyman...

from a small political party without allies or influence.

But at first,

I thought I could handle a guy like him...

with the power that I had.

I'll help too.

I'll help you in your fight, Reporter Shin.

But it didn't take long to figure out the reality.

Candidate Yoo Kwang Min, who placed first in the presidential election,

has been accused of benefiting unfairly...

through manipulating stock prices.

Does it still seem like I am playing around?

"He's not someone a mere assemblyman can handle."

"I will need a stronger power."

So you decided to become president?

Even by joining hands with him?

That day,

he said this to me.

You know better than anyone else, Assemblyman.

That you're the best option for this nation.

For what's best for the nation,

you voluntarily become the worst.

I made up my mind then.

As he said,

I would gladly become evil.

So,

I would disappear along with that evil.

I will take full responsibility for this incident,

and furthermore, I will diligently partake in the investigation...

as a suspect in the case from this point onward...

so that all those involved in this incident...

may also face punishment.

Sacrifice is inevitable when standing up to a great evil.

Now, I want to...

ask you something, Ha Ri.

Kang Ha Ri,

are you really...

ready to make a sacrifice?

The person behind this...

was someone I've worked with for a long time.

(Police)

NQ Infra Capital's CEO...

Jeffery Jung.

Jeffery Jung?

- Did he say "Jeffery Jung?" - He's famous.

CEO Jeffery Jung of NQ and I have a long history.

CEO Kang Do Young of Meta Scarlet...

who defrauded people with NFTs,

CEO Kim Yun Gi of KU Entertainment...

who threatened the celebrities he represented and dealt illegal drugs,

and Director Baek Hyun Mi of Baek Gallery...

who used expensive pieces of art as items for sale...

to bribe prosecutors and influential people.

I worked with all these criminals under the orders of Jeffery Jung.

What on earth is going on?

- Jeffery Jung and I... - Why is he saying he did all that?

Was he threatened?

No.

If he had been threatened, he wouldn't have said...

he had worked with Jeffery.

That's right.

Hey, Soo Min.

Didn't Ha Ri say anything by any chance?

Hang on.

Wait.

President Choi Sang Ho resigned from his post.

What?

Let me see that.

(Terrorist Kang Ha Ri, Conspired with Jeffery Jung of NQ Capital)

(Terrorist Kang Ha Ri, Conspired with Jeffery Jung of NQ Capital)

CEO Kang of TVS will arrive in 15 minutes.

Let them go on talking when no one can hear them.

Call President Hwang too.

I'll have him get into a locked safe.

Yes, sir.

Sir.

Goodness.

- What's all this? - Gosh, no.

You helped me with a huge project this time.

Goodness, even still...

About the privatization of the capital railway company...

It was something our CEO really wanted.

Please tell the CEO...

that I'm always grateful.

He will be in touch with you soon...

along with those who helped this time.

This feed is spreading nationwide.

Why, these little...

He may be the great Jeffery Jung,

but he won't be able to stop a scandal of this scale.

Still, why would they sacrifice themselves...

I once asked Mr. Choi...

the same question before.

Mr. President.

Why are you trying to take the blame for everything like this?

The president is meant to apologize and take responsibility for things.

And that was why...

I rose to this position.

A band of evil has been eating away at the nation for a long time.

Their wrongdoing and responsibility are my own.

But if you think about it, that Kang Ha Ri fellow...

is quite an interesting guy.

At first, I thought he'd only think about himself as a con man.

But look at what he's doing now.

Soo Min!

Soo Min. I know what's happening.

I figured it out.

I bet even you didn't know about this, Mr. Hwang.

Let me explain. So I think Ha Ri...

and President Choi Sang Ho...

That they planned this together?

What? Did you know about this too, Mr. Hwang?

I just told her everything.

I see.

I told you they probably knew, didn't I?

Seriously. You guys always make a fuss.

All right. If you're done assessing the situation,

let's get started.

And go where?

We must catch Jeffery.

And we must bring back Ha Ri too.

She's right.

I bet those guys would do anything to weasel their way out of this.

I can't watch them get away with this again.

Let's end them.

(The Player 2: Master of Swindlers)

(Final Episode)

Seriously. I was behind it.

If you run your mouth again and deviate from my plan,

that will be the end of you.

Did you hear that?

Gosh, I'm hungry.

I'm starving. Goodness.

I got your point. Can't I at least have some food?

I'm starving to death.

Investigator Kim!

Yes, sir.

Order some food for this jerk.

Food?

You know the gukbap restaurant near here? Order it from there.

Right. Get me extra kimchi, please.

Sir.

- Here's the food. - There it is!

- Gosh. I'll go out for a cigarette. - Goodness.

Give me a cigarette.

(To the restroom)

- Keep an eye on him. - Yes, sir.

I feel like I can finally breathe again.

Thank you for the food. Gosh.

Hold on.

Did I eat too fast?

I need to use the restroom.

(Prosecution Service)

Hurry.

Goodness. I must've eaten it too fast.

Which one is empty?

Come on. Hey, make it quick.

I can't do my business with the handcuffs. Hurry.

- Gosh. Over here. - Please hurry.

There's no bidet here?

Why are you asking for a bidet?

- Gosh. - Okay.

(Prosecutor Han Jae Hyun)

Yes, sir.

Investigator Kim. Where are you?

Me?

I took Kang Ha Ri to the restroom.

You didn't have time to prepare the case file I asked for.

But you had time to follow him to the restroom.

The case file?

I see.

So I guess I'm stubbornly asking you to give me the case file...

you have no memory of.

I guess I'm going on a power trip.

I must have put you in a tight spot!

You know what? I should take the bar exam again!

I'm sorry. I didn't mean to...

I'm sorry, sir.

I took care of it.

(Yesco: Safe Disinfection Cleaning Service)

Kang Ha Ri is on the run?

Then catch him and bring him to me immediately.

There's been a change in the schedule.

Our flight is canceled.

Authorization for any planes departing...

from a private airfield to cross the borders has been suspended.

The only option they have now is to stow away.

I'm glad that we live on a peninsula at times like this.

How is it going with you guys?

I'm perfectly fine.

See you later.

At the press conference, he admitted...

to the allegation of creating a slush fund yesterday at noon.

President Choi Sang Ho announced that he would resign.

But he was found murdered.

The recent turn of events has immensely shocked the public.

It has caused a big stir among the people.

The authorities announced that...

they would thoroughly investigate the incident...

- What's your plan? - and arrest the culprit...

as quickly as possible.

I turned a blind eye and helped you flee.

The reason why I must trust you and stay here after all this.

Isn't it about time you explain it to me?

The suspicion and the bomber...

Give me some time.

He confessed after being caught.

President Choi...

- You guys are on your own now. - was found murdered.

The prosecution searched the house...

and obtained evidence for embezzlement.

In addition to subsequent crimes,

they also found evidence of corruption among politicians.

The arrest warrant for Jeffery Jung has been issued.

The authorities believe that he may be involved...

in the murder of the late president.

Is this absolutely necessary?

You know it better than anyone.

When we're up against crazy criminals,

sometimes, we are required to be just as crazy as them.

An innocent man died...

because of me.

I'm sorry.

The prosecution began investigating after the media covered the story.

I was going to discuss the next plan until Jeffery got arrested.

But I had no idea he would come after you in broad daylight.

There cannot be...

any more sacrifices during this fight.

Prosecutor Kwak.

Yes, Mr. President.

Let's make sure we catch...

Jeffery Jung.

Of course, sir. I'll catch him no matter what.

And after that, I will...

turn myself over to you.

Can I use the bathroom?

(Jeffery Jung)

(Jeffery Jung)

You.

Gather all the information you have on Jeffery Jung...

and hand it over to me.

We'll see.

Didn't we see enough of each other already?

You're laughing?

Don't laugh. You'll grow on me.

Go already.

Don't laugh.

Are you sure you can find him using your laptop?

- Go to your room and rest up. - Mr. President.

You must be exhausted. Why don't you rest up for a bit?

Thank you.

Why isn't Soo Min here yet?

The phone is turned off.

- Why isn't she picking up? - Please leave a message...

Where is Jeffery, that bastard?

He will show up at some point.

I swear I'm going to get him.

(Jung Soo Min)

The phone is turned off.

Please leave a message after the tone.

Hello?

Is someone there?

Is anyone there?

There's a person here!

Over here!

Is anyone there?

There's a person here!

Byung Min.

Did we get anything?

No, net yet. How about Soo Min?

You should go inside and get some rest. I'll look for her.

I can just drink this.

- Hello, President Choi. - Hello.

Don't worry too much.

We'll make sure to find Soo Min.

I'll go out for some fresh air.

Yes, sir.

- It's okay. - But to be safe...

Gosh.

Are we not getting anything?

(Written Statement)

Where is President Choi?

We looked all around the area, but we couldn't find him.

Hey, Ha Ri. Look at this.

I don't know what they said on the call,

but he called this number right after getting this message.

Hurry up.

Soo Min.

Mr. Choi.

Are you okay?

Are you hurt?

Why are you here?

Now, let her go.

Your target was me anyway.

Yes, sir.

Mr. Choi!

Mr. Choi!

Mr. Choi!

Mr. Choi!

Mr. Choi!

- Mr. Choi! - Now, that's better.

Send this to our friends too.

(634, Sangsung-myeon, Geumpo-si, 199, Poin-eup, Yonghwa-si)

(12, Chosam-dong, Sannam-si, 37, Sangdon-gil, Gyeongcheon-si)

(Unknown number)

Hey.

Be quiet for a second.

What do you think you're doing?

What do you mean?

Weren't you the one who started the game?

What do you think?

How long do you think he'll live after losing that much blood?

Jeffery.

I will kill you.

It's up to him to hang on.

I'll give you one hour.

You can try to save him by looking at the places I sent.

- I wish you luck. - Wait, Jeffery.

Jeffery!

Mr. Choi.

Where are you, Soo Min?

Mr. Choi!

Mr. Choi. Wake up.

Mr. Choi. You can't fall asleep! Mr. Choi!

Mr. Choi!

Mr. Choi!

Look.

What?

Mr. Choi!

Jeffery.

Jeffery!

I think they were here, but I was a step too late.

I found Jeffery's location.

- Where is he? - The location is Yongjo Port.

He's trying to get on a cargo ship from Port Klang, Malaysia.

There's about 40 minutes left.

And I think we've figured out Soo Min's location as well.

It's Sannam-si, where Mr. Hwang is headed.

Are you okay, Mr. Choi?

I'm sorry,

Soo Min.

For everything...

I'm so sorry.

Why should you apologize?

I'm the one who mistrusted and misunderstood you.

I didn't get to apologize yet.

Please stay with me.

Mr. Choi!

Mr. Choi.

Mr. Choi.

Mr. Choi.

I'm here.

I think it's the place.

Who are you?

Who's there?

Hang on.

Is this not the place?

Freeze!

Go to Yongjo Port. Get Jeffery at all costs.

I promise to get Soo Min back.

Are you okay with that?

Do you even need to ask?

Of course, that's okay.

Stay safe, everyone.

See you soon.

What are you doing here?

I can take them down on my own.

Can you?

I'll leave you to it, then.

Hang on.

Since you're here,

you might as well help out.

Don't move!

Watch out. This is a BB gun.

Darn it.

Shoot.

So,

it was you.

Well done.

Let's go. Save her quick.

Wake up, Mr. Choi.

Is anyone out there?

Mr. President!

- Ha Ri! - Are you okay?

There's no time.

There's a bomb.

Why are there so many bombs?

There's no time to defuse it. Let's go.

Let's get going.

The door's locked!

Mr. Choi.

We have a problem.

There's a bomb inside, but the door is locked.

- A bomb? - A bomb?

Mr. Hwang.

Ha Ri.

Ha Ri.

Give it all up.

Do you think killing him...

will bring Ah Ryung back?

I want in.

Just leave and live like other people.

Have a normal life.

We've been through it.

Not money. Revenge.

Let's just go down.

Byung Min. Focus.

Lim Byung Min. Focus!

Jin Woong.

Don't worry. Nothing bad happened.

See you at Yongjo Port.

We'll meet them all there.

Yes.

That bastard.

Let's get him.

Why are there so many of them?

- There are. - Should I have left a death note?

You didn't?

Send them to their friends.

Wait, the battery...

Gosh.

Shoot.

Hey. That's Gym Bod and Smiley Face.

He smiles as he punches.

Stand back.

Wait.

Soo Min, find some water.

Okay.

The water.

Stand back.

Come on.

All right. Let's go.

Get up, sir.

Hurry!

- Here. - Mr. Choi, are you okay?

Don't worry. I'll take him to the hospital.

We don't have time. Jeffery will get away soon.

Let's go.

I called it to get Mr. Choi to safety.

Mr. Hwang.

But, sir...

Take the helicopter.

You have to catch Jeffery.

Stay back for a while.

Hey, Ha Ri!

- Gosh. Hey. - Hey, where have you been?

- You punk! - Seriously?

Are you okay?

I told you I'd bring her for sure.

Hey, Soo Min. Are you okay?

Of course. From where I stand, you look worse than I do.

But I'm fine.

Hey, where is that guy?

He went that way first.

Leave these guys to us. You should get going.

Hey.

Will you be able to handle them on your own?

Backup is here. Let's get going now.

Hurry up and go!

- Darn it! - Darn it.

- Let's go. - Darn it!

Hey! Go!

All right.

Come on, baby.

Oh, Pikachu.

Hey, wait!

Darn it.

Jeffery!

Look who it is.

This day is finally here.

You sure work hard.

It's not like you can change the world like that.

That's why I'm trying even harder.

Who knows?

The world actually might change.

It's best to let go of false hope soon.

Along with your cheap sense of justice too.

Let's just go quietly.

I'm being considerate for one last time.

Don't make me laugh.

Oil?

- You're so high maintenance. - That tickles.

Just stay still.

- Gosh. - Be sure to put it on well, punk.

Just don't get beaten up again.

Don't worry. Just be sure to oil me up well.

Hey, take off your pants.

- Why would I take my pants off? - Won't he grab your legs, then?

Is that so?

Hey, wait! This is...

- Prosecutor. - Darn it.

Duck.

I repaid all my debt.

Hey.

The game is over now.

Let's just go quietly, please. Get up.

Get up.

You jerk!

Get up, jerk.

Prosecutor, I'll hold him.

- Byung Min, give me my shirt. - What?

- Give me my clothes. - Hang on. Hold him for a while.

- What? Why? - Hey!

Prosecutor, please take care of the rest here.

Please take care of this guy,

Gosh.

It'll take a while to wrap things up here.

Hey, let's get moving!

Ha Ri!

- What's wrong? - Ha Ri. Are you okay?

- Did you get hurt? - Are you okay?

- Are you okay? Did you get stabbed? - Blood!

- Blood! - It's not that bad. He's not dying.

Hey, Je Yi.

- Ha Ri. - Hey.

Hey.

Je Yi.

Put down the gun.

No!

Darn it, what was that? Run!

The reason why I didn't kill you...

is because...

I don't want your pain to end here.

I hope all of your sins...

will become your punishment.

What utter nonsense.

You're just blabbering on because you don't have the guts...

Good job.

That guy is a bad one, for sure.

But I don't hate him.

Shall we go?

I'll take care of things here.

I said I would.

- Hey, man. - Quiet!

- Come on! - Shut it!

- But they started it! - Just keep going!

- Hey, take out this trash. - You!

- Darn it! - Let's hurry and clean this up!

Hey.

Keep an eye on him until he gets in the car.

You did well.

So did you.

NQ Train's CEO Jeffery Jung has been arrested at Yongjo Port...

as the suspect in the murder attempt of the president.

On NQ Train's lobby list which came to light...

thanks to the search and seizure by the prosecution,

there were several well-known names...

in the Korean political and financial worlds,

leaving the public in shock.

(Prosecutor Jang In Kyu)

Yes, sir.

Yes. Have you been well?

Gosh. Congratulations.

I'll pay you a visit soon.

Okay.

Aren't you a cutie?

The world is more beautiful than a flower

Hello, sir.

You seem to be in a good mood today.

Yes, I am in a good mood.

You must have read the news article.

Yes, I did.

I have one more good news.

What is it?

Prosecutor Jang finally opened his law office.

Really?

He's been through so much. I'm so glad to hear that.

Wait. You're wearing a gray suit today.

Oh, this? I recently bought this suit.

You said you didn't like gray. What's changed?

Well,

I'm getting sick of wearing...

black and white.

Gray suits you well.

Maybe, you're a Summer with cool undertones.

I'm an Autumn with warm undertones.

By the way,

how much longer do you guys plan on keeping it a secret?

What do you mean?

Remember. I caught Jeffery.

I heard the news. So you opened a law office.

Yes.

Please let me know if you need any legal help.

(Attorney Jung Soo Min)

Sure.

But your case will get sorted out well...

even without my help.

I don't know how, but people found out...

that you started all this...

on purpose to expose Jeffery.

A good number of people found out the truth.

It's fascinating, isn't it?

No matter how hard people try to cover it up,

it all comes full circle and the truth always comes out.

In the end, people always seek...

the truth.

I'll get going,

Dad.

Make sure to eat your meals here.

By the way,

are those guys doing well?

Are you serious, Mr. Lim Byung Min?

I'm sorry.

Do you think art is a joke?

I'm sorry. I did try my best.

Gosh. Come on.

Why on earth do you come here?

You really want to be an artist?

Yes. The webtoon artist.

Goodness. People come here...

wanting to be webtoon artists when they've got no talent.

- I'm sorry. - I'll give you an hour.

Go to your desk, fix it, and send it to me again.

If I still don't like it, you must go home.

- Okay. I got it. - Understood?

Okay. Thank you.

Seriously. I was really surprised. I didn't know you'd show up.

Gosh. It's been so long. Seriously.

Right. It's been so long.

Right. It was 26 years ago.

I was only 21 back then.

Gosh.

I'm 47 years old right now.

My birthday hasn't passed yet.

You haven't changed one bit.

Have you been well?

Well, yes. I've been doing well.

How have you been doing?

Well,

- I was married once. - I see.

But I'm single now.

I see. Do you live alone now?

Yes.

Then...

Excuse me. I'm sorry. I must take it.

I shouldn't be getting a call now.

Hello.

Artist Lim.

Do you still get scolded?

Artist? I'm not an artist.

When will we start our operation?

This artist is a bit weird.

Operation?

I can't talk to you right now.

Let's talk later. Bye.

Gosh. Seriously.

"Mr. Lim Byung Min."

Gosh. These jerks.

Okay. So you want to have a go at this?

Come at me!

- Come at me. - Jin Woong!

- Okay. You're tickling me! - Get this!

Hello.

I'm supposed to start working here today.

The teacher, Kim Min Soo?

Yes, that's right.

Min Soo was a girl's name?

Oh, that. A lot of people tell me it sounds like a guy's name.

How beautiful.

- Pardon? - Nothing.

Beautiful... I mean, the kids here are beautiful.

Dad.

Si An. I'm not your dad.

I don't have a girlfriend.

I'm unmarried.

I'm unmarried and have no girlfriend.

Cha Hye Ryung!

Twenty minutes before the rehearsal.

It's only a rehearsal. I think I had enough time.

Your career is going well.

All the more reason to arrive early and prepare in advance.

Go and talk to your juniors too.

And you should go and get an autograph from Si Heon too.

Lee Si Heon? Seriously?

That was your ulterior motive?

Gosh. I was joking.

- We'll start rehearsing soon. - We have eight minutes left.

- Cha Hye Ryung. - Yes?

Think carefully about it.

- About Si Heon's autograph? - No.

About the meal the two of us will have later.

See you later.

I'm here.

Have you been well?

(The late Shin Hyung Min)

(Crimes catch up with you, and virtues come full circle.)

Knock, knock.

It's been three years, right?

After we met in London.

We said we should meet again. But who knew we'd meet here?

How is it living here? Is it bearable?

You're still as chatty as ever.

Really? I'm usually shy around other people.

That's why even though there were so many things...

I wanted to tell you in London, I didn't.

You can tell me all about it outside.

What? Outside?

Who's going out?

You?

I see.

You must've thought I came here to rescue you.

Too bad.

You got it wrong.

What are you doing?

We don't have all day. Let's hurry.

Let go.

Gosh.

Could you make him suffer a bit more?

It doesn't look like he's suffering right now.

Don't act so tough.

Dying...

is pain.

I've come to give you pain.

So you shouldn't respond like that.

That makes this not rewarding for me.

You're such a selfish person...

until the end.

Gosh. I paid a lot of money to buy this from a reseller.

(Prosecutor Kwak Do Soo)

- Are there additional materials? - Yes.

Please bring it to me.

Thank you.

Yes?

Prosecutor Kwak.

Jeffery Jung is...

- Oh, my. - Oh, my gosh.

He's so handsome.

Do you think he's single?

Do you think so?

Yes, probably.

("Jeffery Jung Commits Suicide While Serving Life Sentence")

(Urgent News)

Package delivery.

(Punch in and out)

- Mr. Lim Byung Min? - Yes, that's me.

Are you Ms. Jung Soo Min?

Yes.

Someone asked me to give this to you.

Thank you.

Jin Woong.

- Min Soo. - You have a package.

For me?

This message will be incinerated in five seconds.

Gosh.

Goodness.

He looks old, but his actions are even older.

How cool.

Gosh, this guy.

I feel...

embarrassed for him.

You've watched too many movies.

Oh, it's hot.

I'm going to be a webtoon artist.

- A webtoon artist? - Yes, I'm going to do it.

Gosh.

Hey.

Hey, Ha Ri.

- Ha Ri. - Long time no see.

Did you have a good break?

Time to get back to work.
