[doorbell rings]

-Hey, Wren. -Greetings, Craig.

Ready for some science?

I mean... fun?

You bet your beakers.

[laughs] I would never.

Mother, Craig is here.

Hi, Miss Fletcher.

Hi, Craig. Welcome.

You can go ahead and call me Angie.

[gasps] And this here is Sir Isaac Newton.

[meows]

Thanks for letting me sleep over, Miss Angie.

It's no problem at all.

I can't imagine what it's like having a bee infestation in your home. [laughs]

Except, remember your ant colony that took over the basement, Wren?

Yes, those ants got in all of the pants.

A small price to pay for science, I suppose.

[giggles] For science!

[Craig] You know, I gotta admit,

even though it's been fun getting to have all these sleepovers with friends,

walking all my stuff from place to place is getting to be a real pain.

I understand.

Going back and forth between homes can be difficult.

But you're here now.

So why don't you make yourself comfortable?

[Craig] Wow, Wren.

Your room is the coolest.

I feel like I'm on a field trip at the Science Center.

[gasps]

Is your ceiling outer space?

[Wren laughs] Oh, yes. The Virgo Supercluster, to be exact.

My dad painted it for me. He's an artist.

You should see the one he painted in my room at his house.

It's the Laniakea Supercluster.

Cool.

Oh, all right, let's get ready for bed.

[Wren] Craig,

have you ever hypothesized what your life would be like

in a universe different from this one?

Like, if there's another Craig out there in another dimension

whose room wasn't infested with bees?

Yes.

Questions like that one are precisely why

I've created this!

The transdimensional dream navigation helmet.

Using the power of our subconscious minds,

this baby will allow us to travel via our dreams

into alternate dimensions!

Cool.

I haven't been able to use it because it needs two brains to operate.

And your creative brain will be the perfect balance to my scientific mind.

Oh. [chuckles] Why, thank you.

Now, are you ready to embark on an interdimensional expedition?

[exhales] Not exactly. But let's do it anyway.

Transdimensional dream jump, activate!

Uh, I don't think we activated.

[laughs] How could I forget?

For the device to work, we have to be asleep.

Why?

[Wren] It's quite simple.

To optimize our consciousness for transdimensional perception,

we must amplify our brainwaves to delta levels... [continues indistinctly]

[yawns] Mmm.

What? Oh, no!

I'm a ghost. [gasps] What did you do?

The machine worked, Craig. We're in another dimension!

But why do I look like this?

In this state, we are invisible

to the inhabitants of this dimension,

and with this,

we can hop to another dimension at any time.

Ooh, ooh, ooh! I wanna meet other Craigs.

[Wren] Listen, Craig.

I highly advise you to simply observe.

Do not make any physical contact.

Uh, why?

With one touch,

you will disappear into the other Craig's mind and body

and be stuck in his dimension forever.

[doorbell rings]

Our quantum query begins!

-Hey, Wren. -Greetings, Craig.

Ready for some science?

I mean... fun?

Whoa! That's... That's us.

This dimension doesn't seem that different from our own.

This requires further study.

Mother, Craig is here.

Hi, Miss Fletcher.

[Angie] Nice to meet you, Craig.

You can go ahead and call me Angie.

Meow, meow.

Well, that's certainly different.

The implications of this could be... troubling.

And this here is Sir Isaac Newton.

[distorted meow]

[both scream]

Wren, this is freaky and we should leave.

Or we could stay and study this biological breakthrough?

[slurping]

The cat with your mom's head is cleaning itself.

And away we go!

-Hey, Wren. -Greetings, Craig.

Ready for some science?

I mean... fun?

Seems pretty normal so far.

[Wren] Oh, we appear to be merfolk in this dimension.

Wren, we're gonna drown.

Hurry, do something!

[laughing] We are spectral, Craig.

-We don't need to breathe. -[gulps] Oh.

Dinner will be ready in a second. Go ahead and grab a seat.

Ooh, yeah.

Huh, it's less creepy than the cat stuff.

Definitely.

[meows]

Here you go, kids. Dinner is ser--

-[crashing] -Oh, no.

Did Mrs. Henderson's shark get out again?

[shark roaring]

-[both screaming] -[clicks]

-[Dimension 3 Craig] Hey, Wren. -[Dimension 3 Wren] Greetings, Craig.

-Ready for some science? -Uh, Wren?

Where's the door?

[door closes]

Oh. Well, that's clever.

Mother, Craig is here.

Huh, that's strange.

I have so many questions.

[hesitates] How does the food stay up there?

Do they walk on clouds outside?

-And who is that guy? -That's...

That's my dad.

Hey, hon.

Yes!

[Dimension 3 Angie] Was the grocery store busy?

Uh, I don't know. I came straight from the studio.

[sighs] You forgot the dessert again, didn't you?

Oh, come on, Angie. [sighs]

You know how busy I've been finishing this last painting.

You know, it just slipped my mind.

Of course,

it's always the stuff I ask you to do that slips your mind.

[scoffs] Did the fact that my gallery opening is in three days slip your mind?

This is important to me.

-[both continue indistinctly] -So wait, so why are the stairs still going down?

Are they going... Going up technically?

-To the ceiling? -[clicks]

-Hey, Wren. -Greetings, Craig.

-Ready for some science? -Whoa, Wren.

Why did we leave the last dimension so... Whoa!

I hope it's okay I brought my friend, Slide the Ferret.

[Slide] Gotta slide fast.

We found... the perfect dimension.

Mmm-hmm. Mmm-hmm. Fascinating.

I'm gonna go check out the kitchen.

[Slide] Hey, Craig, want to show Wren how fast we can slide?

I do.

Mmm?

Mmm...

[Dimension 4 Craig] Hey, Slide, let's high-five each other 100 times.

-One, two, three... -It's time to go.

Excuse me.

Why would anyone want to leave such a beautiful world?

We just have to.

Give me one good reason

or I'm gonna merge with Cool Craig and get in on those high fives.

It's my family, Craig!

I was hoping that perhaps in our interdimensional journeys,

maybe I could find a world where...

Where my mom and dad didn't break up

and we're all happy together.

Jeez.

Wren, I... I'm so sorry.

[sighs] I'll never be as cool as I am in this dimension.

But if giving it up means helping a friend find happiness,

well, that would be pretty cool too.

For real?

For real.

[Wren sniffles]

Thanks, Craig.

Just don't bring up Slide for a while.

[clicks]

-Hey, Wren. -Hey, Craig.

Ready for some fun?

Hey, you do your hair different in this dimension.

A minor variance.

I'm going to check the kitchen.

-[objects clattering] -There's my mom.

And my dad.

They're together.

Muah.

-[both chuckle] -Stop.

And they're happy.

Let me introduce you to... Ew.

-Mom, Dad... -[both chuckling]

Ugh. They're always doing this.

Hey, Craig's here.

Lovely to meet you, Craig. We're just making dinner.

-[gasps] The stove. -Oh.

Oh, I got it.

[both laughing]

Oh, looks like we're ordering delivery.

[Dimension 5 Angie] Oh, how about pizza?

I could pay for dinner.

My parents bumped up my allowance to $1,000 a day because of the bee trouble.

Nah, you're our guest.

Come on, let's go to my room.

Oh, dude, I gotta tell you about our family vacation to the beach.

It ripped.

This is the one. I'm going to merge with myself.

What? But you said not to.

Craig, this dimension is an optimal scenario.

Here my family is together and happy.

Well, I guess I am pulling in a grand a day here.

Let's stay here forever.

Yeah.

[panting, exhales]

What in the world?

-Plus, OMG. -[Craig] Huh...

Your room isn't quite as science-y here.

[Wren] No, it's not.

There doesn't seem to be anything scientific about this Wren at all.

This is quite concerning.

What do you mean?

-Well, this dimension is nice... -[Dimension 5 Craig laughs]

...and this version of me is nice,

but there doesn't seem to be any trace of the science-loving part of me here.

Well, off to another dimension, then.

No, Craig, don't you see what's happening?

We could hop dimensions an infinite amount of times,

but there's only one dimension that has me

exactly as I am in it.

But your parents?

Yes, my parents,

the ones back in our dimension.

They might not be together anymore,

but I know one thing they would agree on.

They both love me for who I am.

And they wouldn't want me to give that up for anything.

Not even this.

That's beautiful, Wren.

Are you sure you're feeling 100% on this?

[Wren] This isn't ours, Craig.

We have to go back.

[sighs] Yeah, you're right.

Press the button before I change my mind.

[both] Are we back?

[doorbell rings]

Thanks again for watching Craig.

Truth be told, it's kind of nice having him out of the house.

-Oh, hey, babe. -Mom!

Can I have $1,000?

[chuckling] Boy, in what world would I just give you $1,000?

-[Wren] Mom. -Oh. Wren.

[gasps] Look who's here.

Hey, Wren!

Dad!

-Ready to go? -Yeah.

As long as we stay in this dimension.

[parents laugh]

[Angie] Have fun. I'll see you Monday.

[Gregory] All right, be breezy. I'll see you later.
