That's the best leaf house and juggling I've ever seen.

But if you're the best at lots of things, what are you the bestest at?

There are so many things I'm best at. Just like Thistlelina.

Who's Thistlelina?

Thistlelina was a teeny, tiny duck. Smallest duck ever.

As small as a pebble.

But even though she was so small, she was the strongest duck of all time.

How strong was she?

She was so strong she could lift a giant mountain.

[groans, grunts]

You know, Thistlelina must've been really strong, 'cause this mountain is heavy.

[grunts]

But if Thistlelina was so small, where did she live?

She lived inside an acorn shell.

Hmm. Oh. [hums] Like this?

That is one cute, tiny house.

But it's too small for a bed. What did Thistlelina sleep on?

All she needed was a feather.

Oh, of course.

Good night, Thistlelina.

Yeah! Nighty night.

And after a good night's sleep,

Thistlelina was also the bestest at flying.

-Whoosh! [imitates airplane] -Whoosh.

[gasps, grunts]

What else was she bestest at?

-Wait. -[grunts]

We're not figuring out what Thistlelina was bestest at.

We're figuring out what I'm bestest at.

But what about the story?

Yeah. Don't stop now.

The story will have to wait.

Okay. Well, I know what you're best at. Building a leaf house.

I think you should try juggling.

Hmm. But building a house of leaves is so much more relaxing.

Yeah. Well, juggling is much more exciting.

Looks like we're not going to agree.

That's okay, Goose. Friends don't always have to agree.

You be you, and I'll be me.

I bet I'll be the bestest at both. I'll try the house of leaves idea first.

The trick is to take your time.

Looks easy.

I'm going to build a castle taller than any tree. Watch.

No biggie. I'll just build my castle like this.

Careful it doesn't fall.

[groans]

-[Duck] Leaf-alanche! -Look out below.

[Thistle yelps]

But before it fell, it was the tallest castle you ever saw, right?

-Uh-huh. -Like Thistlelina's.

Thistlelina had a castle too?

I thought she lived in a little acorn house.

Thistlelina needed more room to play in,

so she built the tallest castle of all time.

If Thistlelina was so small, how could she build a castle that tall?

No problem was too big for Thistlelina. She was the best at everything, remember?

-Oh, right. -Of course.

[gasps]

[imitates fanfare]

Boopy-McDoopy!

Thistlelina built her castle so tall, it reached the clouds.

Mmm.

[gasps] Ooh, they're so soft and fluffy, just like real clouds.

Hey. With clouds outside her window, did Thistlelina ever bounce on them?

Of course. She bounced almost all the way to the moon!

Ooh.

Hyah! Whoo-hoo! Bouncy cloud!

[chuckles]

Thistlelina was the bestest at cloud-bouncing, of course.

But we still haven't figured out what I'm bestest at.

Aw, what about the story?

We have to help Thistle first.

We tried your idea, Goose. Now let's try mine. Juggling!

It's definitely worth a try.

Just toss 'em nice and easy.

I'm sure it will be easy.

[grunts]

That was just practice.

[grunting]

Okay. Here comes some real juggling.

I can do this. I can do this. [pants]

Hmm. I just need a little more practice.

Of course, Thistlelina didn't need any practice. She could juggle anything.

Ooh, goody. We get to hear more of the story.

Whoo! I bet Thistlelina was the bestest juggler.

She was.

She could juggle three elephants!

Giant elephants with trunks as long as rivers.

And how big were their ears?

As big as the whole meadow!

Thistlelina was so strong she tossed those giant elephants so high

they knocked into the moon and sent it flying away.

[honks] And what happened to the elephants?

They were nice and safe on the moon as it flew away.

-It's me, the moon, flying through space. -[Thistle, Goose chuckle]

[chuckles] But without the moon, the sky would be really dark at night.

How could anybody see?

Yeah. Everyone must've been bumping into everything. Like this.

[grunts] Ow. [yelps] Whoa. [grunts]

Yep. Even the stars couldn't see and bumped each other right out of the sky.

[gasps] So what did they do?

Thistlelina came to the rescue, of course.

Because no problem was too big for her.

Too bad Thistlelina's not here to solve my problem.

Right. I bet she could figure out what you're bestest at.

Thistlelina's not here, but we can help you figure it out.

Yay!

Maybe you're the best at hopping on one foot.

[grunting]

Hmm. Maybe not.

[Thistle] Where'd everybody go?

Perhaps you're the best drummer?

Ah!

Higgy-poliggy! Sorry.

I'm sure you're the best at something else. Like logrolling.

[grunting] Whoa!

No logrolling. But you could be the best at stretching.

Whoa!

[Thistle grunts]

Helping Thistle figure out

what she's bestest at is more difficult than I imagined.

I wonder what Thistlelina would do. [gasps]

Yeah! No problem was too big for her. What a great story.

My favorite part was when the moon flew out of the sky

and everyone bumped into everything.

I love Thistlelina's adorable little acorn house

with her teensy-weensy feather bed.

That was the best story of all time.

[honks] What did you say?

I said it was the best story of all time.

"The best story"?

That's what Thistle's bestest at. Telling stories.

[gasps] You're right!

[both] Thistle, Thistle!

[Goose] We thought of what you're bestest at.

You are the bestest storyteller of all time.

Of course!

Boopy-McDoopy!

I am the bestest ace storyteller of all time.

-[all cheer] -[Duck] We figured it out!

And now we just have to know how Thistlelina ends.

With no moon in the sky and no stars, the sky was dark.

So dark, no one knew what to do.

They were afraid it would be dark forever.

[gasps] Oh, no.

Thistlelina had to act fast. Good thing she was the best at lassoing.

But where would she find a lasso long enough to rope the moon?

She found the longest vine from the tallest tree

and turned it into the longest lasso.

She tossed it into the sky past the sun, past the stars.

[honks] Thistlelina caught the moon.

-Yay! -[groans]

And then brought the elephants safely down to the ground.

And everyone got to see that Thistlelina was the bestest at everything.

-Best story ever! -Bravo! Bravo!

I'm so glad you're you, Goose.

You were so creative building pine cone elephants and an acorn house.

And I'm glad you're you, Duck.

You made the story even more exciting when you hopped from cloud to cloud.

[chuckles]
