Wolfgang no not a Frankfurt Krakow

this restaurant was used by the old

communist regime well kept secret they

treated us like royalty didn't Eric yes

I reckon we must have boasted the Polish

economy that night by at least 50% mind

you we did have something to celebrate

the company had just completed a 200

million dollar oil refinery for the

Polish government six months ahead of

shady withholding Susan was there

why don't we trip the light fantastic

[Music]

[Music]

one of Sam's boyfriends died at a party

the other night damn

police have been making inquiries

Sam wants me to give him an alibi

only this time I'm not sure I'm doing

the right thing don't get involved hurry

if Lee finds out the marriages are over

I can't let that happen

[Music]

I've got to get back

[Music]

Sam by splitting certainly not this is

on me I insist

well the first company's going anywhere

what are friends for

I'll cheer up Susan it may never happen

I

think we found that black taxi

steamin here's Melissa some Archibald's

managed and directed by Victor civil

engineering company a building that new

office block the other city center yeah

denies being at the party

effects the description of Scott beams

boyfriend just

two completely different characters

what do you mean two different character

scott games boyfriend is dressed in a

white leather studded Baker's jacket a

bus erratically please

Sam Archibald probably still wears long

underwear and suspenders to keep you

soaked so uh mister played just the very

man I've been trying to get older

surprising thing with the girls a couple

of nights ago in a wine box said his

name was Jim Hanken

dagger

at least he's got a sense of humor

Elaine with Judy she works for an estate

agents

MacLeod hmm the man that calls himself

Tiger

wanted me to put him up for a few nights

I know we left shortly after 11:00

you should have heard that song I mean

we're talking about last Tuesday night

if you'd like to check your records

office saying you'll find my car was

stolen that evening

most of the telephone numbers of the

usual collection of local trees and a

couple of written messages as from a boy

friends of past residents this one is

from the Klaine foundation I supposed to

know what I mean it's a private clinic

specializes in abortion

Susan

I need to talk

what's troubling you I

don't quite know how to put it

by

[Applause]

sergeant detective inspector Jardin I

would like to speak to somebody in

charge please

harry's made a false statement to the

police he

gave Sam an alibi the night the team he

borrowed my car

Sam was at a party and

somebody got killed I know I

shouldn't have come I feel so guilty

after all Sam has done for us

how do I help you well we'd like some

information about a client of yours I am

afraid that's not possible we have

strict rules of confidentiality

this is the module enquiry I can make no

exceptions if you forced me to get a

court order this building will be

swarming with police officers within a

No how are you threatening me I

just don't want you to be under any

misapprehension

named

Anna Falasca

and a Pulaski

first appointment should have been next

Thursday

maybe look at the details

mr. ADA would come the father assume he

was taking care of all expenses

I

can see where the looks on your faces

sort of wedding funeral perhaps

Edward Campbell

yes tell us about your relationship with

Anna Pulaski relationship what

relationship mr. Campbell she helped her

tear into summer that's all Harlan you

know I

have this arrangement with the refuge

any girls who want to earn a little cash

on the side with the refugee suddenly

would the halfway house

hey you know she was montant

yes

it was a terrible thing

she was such a lovely girl

sedulously not concerned with the candle

considering you were the father of the

baby

we always seem to be moving house one

town to another yeah

son with Linda's aggressions another

woman I could have understood I

thinks I don't know about this

he promised faithfully

I'm sorry don't be sorry

the Shiraz / Susan

no more humiliation

no more recrimination

I'm gonna put a stop to this nonsense

once and for all you arranged an

abortion for Anna

yes

but I'm not the fun

then who has

no idea and it came to me with the money

for the operation

she wanted to be discreet

Anna didn't think should be admitted to

a general hospital without awkward

questions being asked why she should

come to you well the girls from the

refuge come to me that just mean I'm

like a father figure to them do you

remember a girl by the name of Lucy

Fergus

no

she was found murdered yesterday

euphorbia al karima mr. cow commonly

known as poinsettia I

wish I could help you further I really

do

well there's just one little thing

you go on I'll see you next week

attractive for me then I remembered your

pottery classes Marjorie I knew that

would ever happen you would miss those

am I supposed to read too something into

that remark she wasn't after Jack's job

you put two and two together come to the

point and olive branch Marjorie

let's forget this nonsense and start

afresh it's too late

no

definitely not

yeah it's not gonna hurt you know would

you tell emanate from the inquiry Soho

I'm a suspect you said you wanted to

help

not by giving blood it's

it's against my beliefs but how do you

get something to hide

you can think what you like

my answer is still no

you handled that well I

can't see any problems on that school

hurry

darling it's me listen I got to go away

for a couple of days something urgent's

dropped off you won't be coming home for

a change of clothes then

I'll pick someone together yes I expect

you will hey

you still there

she's acting very strange

maybe you should have taken it to

Edinboro with you out of the question

[Music]

[Applause]

excuse me father Doyle yeah try the

truffle in the basement

[Music]

Michael I don't like this please

let's go

[Music]

he found me

do you want me to come home

you've got to pull out of this Susan I

totally hurry I had to be totally what

what did you tell us Susan

you get south

an alibi for the other night

you've just killed a marriage you

realize that

you could go to prison

[Laughter]

[Music]

our congregation our young people

inspector

we find they relate more to icons of the

20th century than to stained-glass

windows did you call that 20th century

response father Doyle's a firm believer

in the cold tacky treatment for drug

addiction

did you really believe that

there's nothing wrong with Aurra by

taking it out of isolation you've undone

father Doyle's could work

where does it on the streets comforting

the sick and homeless and where exactly

is that you'll find him near Central

Station

whatever you think inspector he's a good

and caring man

he's supposed to be a man of God how can

you be involved in all this

we don't know that yes I'd like to lock

him up my taste of his own medicine

no I don't think I'll ever forget the

sight of Sita in that room

don't let that cloud your professional

judgment Jackie

[Music]

various beer

[Music]

I

don't get involved unless they have a

problem do you those who are modern

stated a refuge a third Sarah Steve

isn't what mr. no that is an ancient

discovered chained up in you sailor

how do you explain our Father

don't know what you mean

Michael Delaney

born Dublin 2nd of March 1953 do you

want me to go on I am a priest I have to

play some Mickey Mouse course you took

been a subject of several indecent

assault complaints one attempted rape

complaints that have never been proved I

want a blood sample from you I

have nothing to hide

don't loose a the fact you're

investigating a monitor I know what I'm

doing all right you've got no hard

evidence Michael it's all circumstantial

look the public can be funny about

Fecteau sneer alleging if you get a

wrong good boy

now Jake Doyle's alibi for the night of

Anna's death it's a bit thin Lucy

nothing that would stand up in court

bangla Bharati first thing in the

morning jaren can forget the other DNA

case go for this one

can't afford to pay any more my wife is

already suspicious I'm sure we can come

to some arrangement

I'll be in touch

don't do anything silly

do large cash amounts deposited until

the last six months

she could have had accounts with other

banks

yeah

well thanks for all your help but

doesn't take us any further what about

the other account miss polarski's I'm

sorry I took it for granted you knew

exactly the same pattern is Lucy's

regular a large cash deposits

different dates

it's a standing order for a deed box we

hold in the vault deep box personal

things security

no no I don't have a key you'll have to

obtain a warrant from the magistrate if

you wish to force it

[Music]

champions the cross have military virtue

Henry Pulaski first polish division 3rd

of March 1940 you know polish I know

marriage certificate in collecting

military medals though since there was a

boy

few minutes ago

[Music]

[Music]

[Applause]

[Music]

I

demand to know what's going on

we found this marriage certificate in a

deep box belonging to an opal ASCII it

names used the husband I

can explain

thorne I

was a student and medical school

money was tiny I

was offered the 100 pounds to go through

this marriage of convenience things were

that bad it seemed an easy way to clear

my debts

we met a few minutes before the ceremony

she disappeared as soon as it was all

over I

was assured the management be dissolved

within a few months she

wanted British citizenship

when was the next time you saw Ana

when she was brought into casualty

she came in with MacLeod and another

girl does he favor doesn't

I

now recognize me

the following morning I got a telephone

call from my cloud tell me the manager

never been dissolved

good old-fashioned blackmailing

yes for 10,000 pounds I

told him I couldn't afford them he

didn't take any notice

so why he was here to do into that

pharmacy

Chuck's

two people that were involved in

blackmail and you're no dead don't you

think that's a better coincidence I

don't take life's I save them

[Music]

[Music]

[Music]

[Music]

[Music]

you can go home you

know there's still a lot of unanswered

questions

my job

well we're sending the facts the DA's

office

there's no reason why you can't continue

to work at the hospital

thank you

I've just pulled in two youngsters

pretend to steal a car but method 20 of

candelita defenses

want to see you again sooner rather than

later

just Joey they say pick up some girls

for this guilty - what cuts their cat

puck just so we've got fun fun is that

what you call it and the girl run away I

think so ray I want to feel steam

everything you understand

better to say stole the BMW from from

behind the Caledonian University show me

exactly where

that's a discrepancy

discrepancy with a statement from the

owner of the BMW haddock late clade says

he left the Cadmus eight Street near

Strathclyde University

weighing in Sestak stole the calf made

the Caledonian University you checked

with the other lad yeah well if they're

telling the truth that means that

Clyde's cameras in the vicinity of food

Ana's body was found

then will dinner be dating

a girl is it from the Assistant Chief

Constable

he told me off why

Marja complained about you I wasn't

doing my job probably

woman should be on me

funny thing is yes vu for me

interested in my book I remember the

looks I got from the other women

Marjorie's no it's was certainly put out

of joint I can tell you that

well don't you see

when you talking about that's what this

business is all about it's nothing to do

with you and Jack

[ __ ] automating Filipina see using

room toes around

[Music]

[Applause]

it's all wrong not to rebuild the whole

section try and get it right this time

they're like

[Applause]

can I help you you've got two youngsters

in custody stealing your car good I hope

they go down for a very long time isn't

that what you say in your statement he

said your car was stolen from the back

of Strathclyde University

yeah

yeah these kids

youngsters insisted they still look from

behind the Caledonian University

they may well be telling the truth they

don't honestly know one University from

another I

don't know Glasgow that well I've only

lived in Scotland a few months

the BMW that company car yeah would

anyone else have a Syracuse product

possible of course is there a reason for

all the questions just trying to clean

up an ambiguity that so

and you think that they might have seen

someone hanging her own something

suspicious

if you do remember in ER

there's no way

yeah

[Music]

howdy clade yeah I said he's only lived

in Glasgow for the last few months

before I could find out forget it just

clutching at straws

to check

what do you think you should lay Cup on

I'm a little

the captain my flow

where did this come from

Parcel Post

[Applause]

is there something you want to tell me

Michael no someone sent me trying to

tell me

to bring to you to change

we'd better bring Taggart up to date

he's a headquarters strategy meeting

is that what they call it

I

was Archibald secretary she was a bit

cagey he's making his way back from a

murder did she contact him in his tell

what counts next rung on the promotional

ladder a gem

don't be so serious enjoy yourself enjoy

me I'm too relaxed this is basically a

social meeting a chance to get together

have a few drinks talk politics I've got

two murder investigations and the

suspicious death on my hands and I've

been summoned here for social body check

job

and you have subordinates to deal with

that sort of thing

[Music]

oh

my god

[Laughter]

hello

well it looks as if she was hit over the

head with something heavy dragged on to

the landing and pushed over could it be

linked with the other guys

copybook

susan has something to tell you

go ahead

well certainly shame you later thanks

why would Archibald companies wait so a

lot of my DNA result well of course

strengthens the sample with blood to the

fetus what with the father's identity

father Doyle

vote will you be here until every man

officer arrives

at your pool remember of course

cover

father of Ana's baby

you're kidding no no mistake the blood

tests proved positive why didn't you

tell me maybe she did tell you I swear I

didn't know you know bloody fraud mister

[Music]

you don't have a cigarette why didn't

honor tell you Bertie baby

the refuge it would have meant giving

everything up I knew that

she knew what being homeless mean she

had that Owen flap

several thousand things in our bank

account how do the thing we are talking

about the same get all here what was Ana

involved then I don't know I

don't honestly know no more both fat

I did make good impression last time to

die

[Music]

you see something bad

she's somebody's

face

and a

was a drugs Korea what about Lisa

supplied girls from a clothes you don't

realize what they'll keep for place like

this costs we have no sponsors or

charity status

it's imperative the work of the refuge

continues at any price oh

hope you wrote in here

my Canon number one spot will be optimal

I'm figured out yet

Thanks

you didn't think I would remember about

Alaska

you know

seems like you have a case

see someone's gonna get one hell of a

surprise

what happened I

was mistaken for someone else

how was Amsterdam

picked up a girl of the

kernel do we know her

I'm not the one with the problem

so no sir your transmission was tracking

up do we know the girl's identity

her name's Ellen Pollock

Ellen [ __ ] she come up in inquiry

yeah

and I know where they'll be here

he will bike Jackie was taking over

what's the matter nothing

to keep a Bigfoot it's not taking any

chances that's all

don't you think this is getting a little

tedious Jean

if you've come here to apologize I

should have realized a long time ago

what this nonsense is about nonsense

it's nothing to do with Jack's illness

after you talking about I was getting

all the attention wasn't imagining

you'll be a little more precise

dysentery dinner last year the Assistant

Chief Constable spent quite some time

chatting

admiring what I had achieved the book I

published

is that how you saw me Marjorie a middle

aged [ __ ] on the make wanting a

disablement for always well just a

father her husband's good hear

your words

not mine

talking about

my cloak doesn't give a damn about you

it was going to be my last trip I know

Lucy they tried to quit you all tried to

quit where's Mike letting the jugs

know we can go back to my car and you

can be interviewed by Chief Inspector

tagging it's all one to me I don't

expect any sympathy from a

garden center he's taking the drugs to a

garden center

yes

wish they'd hurry up

this drugs isn't it

maybe

it is drugs I know about these things

so what banana

what's just important information you

have or was all just a ploy you don't

trust me dude

why didn't you tell me you were a

policeman

why the sudden disappearing act without

even a phone call

why poor

voice McQuaid follow us

there's no stayed in business for so

long

I

mean at this time

too many people are dying through this

[ __ ]

[ __ ] will make you a millionaire I don't

care anymore

pay me off

and I'll be on my way

we had a nice little thing going

and you had to moonlight

[Applause]

realize it but I'm a fugitive that's

because you've been

here

Jean

when Jean first had to have a wheelchair

I kept shot in her end she told me not

to

force the law

courts won't forget it and neither will

I

this is Postma divinsky he's a policeman

from Gdansk hello

tell me about Anna

Anna help me recruit other girls mostly

from the refuge Campbell's thank you

he's mother's actually his mother

she used to run a high-class brothel

long before this hauled it away a lot of

money she couldn't declare

say a pedi in the garden centre tried to

make a respectable businessman of him

and where did you come in all this I had

the contacts and she had the cash was as

simple as that

excuse me

I'd like to make a statement about the

night the scorpions day

where were you the night Ana was killed

I dropped her off at the foolish church

she agro all religious she and then one

father Doyle to know about the boat the

BB

then I went to Vegas Kerry's party Kerry

was an old customer would tell me to

leave the part when the kid went through

the window

I remember Scott was having an argument

with this guy and gay was jealous of

Scott been spent with somebody else

Scott kept ripping them about it they

were stood by the window at the time

Scott being on everything that night it

was completely off he's not did you know

that man I

mean it was feeling like leather gear

like pull a neck get on OB but for that

kind of get a thought

into the face I

think it was Sam

Sam yeah that's right that's what Scott

kept teasing them about do we ever let

up can't you play another tune firm

I fight for love and glory I keep of

do-or-die

it was some

sick and tired of the mistrust that's

what he said and he went through the

window an accident yeah an accident I

could have left the party early picked

up an ax and killed her but I didn't

listen we had a road outside the pub she

stormed off yeah in ten minutes later

she was dead

coincidence I didn't kill either of them

why should she die

hey

listen what made you use my name I

saw your name in the newspaper you you

warned against the dangers of taking

drugs I thought would be ironic

ironic

well the luck I've been having lately

son that was a bad choice

MacLeod

you don't sell to people even you people

with money

so Scott Grimm's death it was an

accident

are you gonna kill me

sir

she's best known only to this high a

simple yes or do don't fight or annoys

me

yes yes you died in present foods

medical care very good in prison

development over the last year has been

some twenty million pound

of industrial sites in Eastern Europe

export department will show you to the

hospitality suite thank you all very

much for your attention I do hope to see

you later thank you thank you I

want you to stay

person who killed two young girls

because she could bring your alibi she

had to be silenced it's not right Hari

officers of sale for the arrest of your

daughter Karan for smuggling heroin and

Kong Airport

he asked her to deliberately owners were

telling the dance

who was a fun-loving kid to trouble

meet him a clown costume life I

know why you killed Hana why you tried

to kill my clothes

Karen and Lucy were college together

it was Lucy who introduced it

I can understand your motive but

she didn't leave no law in your own

hands

you trust me now

why didn't you tell me you were a

policeman

did they have to know

you see we don't have very good

to say reputation I

wanted to get to know you better first

well

you can start by buying me dinner

tonight

[Applause]

we should have checked up in haughty

plate area

there's a lot of things we should have

done

Maya saved Lucy's life maybe even we

Archibald

we went to know that how to clay did her

daughter that died in a foolish prison

but we should have known we should have

found out earlier

Michael you're not to blame I

was placed in charge of this

investigation

I made mistakes well if you made

mistakes and I made mistakes

batagor made mistakes for not

supervising as he should have Chief

Superintendent Anderson for not mother I

was the man on the ground

it's good nothing to do with supervision

I

screwed up

Jack

you should have given them

the feet a

little fertilizer

well there's no shortage around here

dr. Costello says not to take plenty of

exercise and get my handicap down and an

obvious fit as a fiddle

it was a born engine so you're coming

bike
