By any chance, do you know Doctor's Son?

She saved my life.

She saved me at the detention center when Soo tried to kill me.

Yes, Scale testified that the dead man is indeed Doctor's Son.

Okay.

Who is this?

It's me.

Are you Shi Hyun?

So Safari killed Director Jo?

- What about Scale? - You won.

Scale testified that the dead man is Doctor's Son.

So what are you going to do?

Pusan needs to know that Safari killed Director Jo.

I want to ask you something.

Does Ji Hyung Min also have an undercover agent?

I'm not sure.

- You don't know? - Ji Hyung Min has an undercover agent?

I don't know anything about it.

Soo.

Those bastards hit my face.

That's enough.

- Are you okay? - I'm sorry.

That bastard, Wooden Stick, was really tough.

Finally, he ran away.

Let me talk to you for a minute.

Safari killed Director Jo?

- Really? - Yeah.

Wow, what's going on here? Is this good or bad?

What are you going to do, really?

I need to let Pusan know that Safari killed Director Jo.

How?

Oh, you are here.

Shi Hyun.

I made a mistake. I'm sorry.

No, I'm sorry that I made you feel bad.

What are you guys doing? You guys are making me feel awkward.

Auntie, let's have a drink. Doc, let's have a drink.

Is that good?

I'll make the drinks.

- Did he fix the speakers? - They said that's not in the budget.

So what do they do with all that tax money?

- You get your paycheck every month. - Like that's anything substantial.

Now, the Team Leader is going in.

We'll start recording then.

- What is it? Ah, dammit. - Excuse me.

Don't you know when not to call, dammit?

Shut up. What's Scale up to now?

Okay.

He says Ji Hyung Min has Scale now.

Do you think Scale will take our side? What about bribing him?

Doc started working on him but... I just don't trust the bastard.

Scale will be released soon.

Before Safari silences him, we need to get to him first.

Aren't you going to make the call?

Don't you need to call and tell Pusan that Doctor's Son killed Director Jo?

If we just sit tight, we'll hear something.

That's the way the subordinate who couldn't protect Director Jo should act.

What if Scale starts to talk?

I mean, I think we shouldn't trust Scale to that extent.

Well, you did boot him out as soon as you came up to Seoul.

I wouldn't be surprised if he is still holding a grudge.

Why? Because Chairman Jo knows that you were a police officer for a brief time?

The real issue is what Scale is thinking about now.

He wouldn't take Doctor's side.

What's the name of the dead guy?

Hey, little brother. Why don't you just record this conversation?

How many times did I tell you that's Doctor's Son, huh?

Does this mean that you were absorbed into Doctor's Son's circle?

Fine, then I'll ask you a different question.

Then who killed the one you are claiming to be Doctor's Son?

Doctor's Son?

Pusan?

You said you are loyal to the one who has the power to kill you.

Don't make me laugh.

You guys are the scums who could only be loyal to the ones who give you money.

You better pick the right one to be loyal. If not, you're really dead.

I don't think I could kill you, but I do think I could save you.

I said I don't know who killed him.

When I got there, he was already dead.

I'm sorry, Chairman.

Where is Mr. Scale?

He's being held at the special unit.

- And what is he saying? - He's saying that he didn't see who killed him.

What is your opinion, Wooden Stick?

I'm sure it was Doctor's Son.

Doctor's Son is the only one who would do that to him.

I'm going up to Seoul now. So get ready.

So Scale is the only witness and

he's saying that the dead guy is Doctor's Son?

- It's not Doctor's Son. - Are you sure?

Do you have any evidence the guy you saw before was definitely Doctor's Son?

That's right.

You might be right about him not being Doctor's Son.

But don't you think you need to kick out Prosecutor Ahn from the special unit?

The joint investigation unit was formed solely to catch Doctor's Son.

If Doctor's Son is dead

there's no reason why Prosecutor Ahn should stick around the special unit.

After you get rid of Prosecutor Ahn

you'll be able to lead the investigation as you like.

Do you understand what I mean?

I understand Detective Lee Gyung Mi's cellphone was discovered at the site.

Yes.

Doesn't that mean that the dead man could really be Doctor's Son?

Team Leader.

There were no finger prints on the device.

They said it was all cleaned up.

Were you still tracing Detective Lee Gyung Mi's cellphone?

I knew there was a slim chance but

I thought Doctor's Son might have taken it so...

You did a good job.

Is today a special day?

Wow, bon appetite.

Why did you become a police officer?

So I can smile.

Because if I can smile, the world would also be able to smile.

You were here! I've been looking for you for a while.

What? Was he crying?

Oh, I'm glad to see you. Have a seat.

What's going on? Is that dead guy really Doctor's Son?

- I'm asking you whether it's Doctor's Son. - No, he isn't.

That's definitely not Doctor's Son.

Right? It isn't Doctor's Son. Right?

- Okay, then, let's get the real one. - Let me ask you one thing.

Why are you so eager to catch Doctor's Son?

What are you talking about?

- It's our job to catch bad guys. - And yet, you let Lee Jin Sook go.

Now you want to get Doctor's Son.

It just doesn't make sense.

What doesn't make sense? I let Lee Jin Sook go because she was innocent.

Doctor's Son is...

Lee Jin Sook is the second in command in the Doctor's drug-ring.

It's still not too late so you'd better decide where you going with this.

Either you could help me catch Doctor's Son...

Or you could stop being a prosecutor once I get you.

I'm trying really hard to treat you with respect as a prosecutor so...

I'd expect that you'd do the same for me.

This is my last warning.

Yeah.

You said Prosecutor Ahn seems a little fishy. What were you talking about?

Doctor's Son might be behind Prosecutor Ahn.

Please, you need to take care of internal matters on your own.

I've got it.

What are you doing here at this time of the day?

- Get me President Jung? - Excuse me?

I said call President Jung, right now!

- You can call him yourself. - The number has been disconnected!

I don't know how to get in touch with him either.

God dammit.

Then what about his peon? The one with the square face.

Call him.

It's me. Can I speak to President Jung?

I told you not to call.

I know but the situation is such that...

If you could just put President Jung on the phone...

This is Prosecutor Ahn. Let me speak to President Jung.

Doc.

In my opinion, I don't think the dead guy is Doctor's Son.

Why don't you tell me? Is he Doctor's Son?

Yes, he is Doctor's Son.

So I kept my promise that I'll help you catch Doctor's Son.

And do not try to contact me again unless I contact you first.

I don't have a present for you today.

President Jung, please.

If you act like this, my feelings are going to get hurt.

Then do something that'll deserve a present.

- Are you okay? - Yes.

Also, how long do I have to do this?

I really want to stop doing this.

- Gi Chul. - Yes, Doc.

We'll get in touch with them only when we need them.

- Don't forget. - Yes.

- Did you have anything for me? - Yes.

I got the background checks.

His name is Jo Ha Neul, age 35.

Currently, he's the CEO and the major shareholder

at an investment firm called the Sky Investment.

He went to Dart Mouse College in the U.S.

You mean Dartmouth College.

So he finished a language course there.

I'm sure it reads as mouse.

M.O.U.T.H. mouse.

Did you miss me already?

I'm not in the mood to joke around.

I'm not joking around.

By any chance, have you heard of Sky Entertainment?

Would you look into it please?

You can come around this way.

What would you like to drink?

Don't drink espresso. How about tomato juice? My treat.

Are you sure the Donghae Construction was bought out by Sky Investment?

It's always about work. Yes, it's Sky Investment.

Not only the Donghae Construction, but their asset structure is very complicated.

It is an investment firm but it

owns shares in many different asset classes.

They ran through their money to have them all cleaned up.

- Tomato juice. - Yes.

Tomato? Tomato? It's tomato.

Jo Ha Neul. Who the hell are you?

Jo Ha Neul.

Yes.

Team Leader. Wait for me!

I told you to stop by.

How could you make me come all the way here?

The rumors are right. You look good.

You are Director Jo? Jo Ha Neul?

- Jo Ha Neul. - Isn't my name awesome?

You can just call me 'Mr. Sky.'

Jo Ha Neul.

Did things not go well?

No, not quite, but it's always one thing after another.

What is it now?

We are together now.

I heard you killed Director Jo and dumped that on Doctor.

And you still have the balls to talk to me?

I'm going to spare you.

We can go back to our past peacefully.

I'll tell you clearly once and for all.

My past is like hell to me.

So don't bother tiring your fingers out by calling me anymore.

What's this about?

What's this lingering feeling you have for her?

I told you. I told you to watch what you say.

It's tiring.

Why do you treat me like this?

I said why do you treat me like this?

If you are going to treat me like I'm nothing

why didn't you just let me die after I was stabbed.

So is it fun to keep me around and treat me like nothing?

And you damn well know how I feel.

Don't run away again.

I'm going to at least get an answer today.

Eun Soo, I...

I'm not comfortable being on the receiving end.

Who was that?

An asshole I know from a long time ago.

What is it? You keep on getting that text.

It's just spam.

Totally stupid. I know they won't put the popular items on on sale. Right?

Tell me about it.

Okay. I said okay.

I'll call you later so please stop sending me texts.

How far did you go with Ji Hyung Min?

- Excuse me? - He's not easy, is he?

Ah, yes.

We call each other from time to time.

But as you said, he's not easy so I haven't gained his trust and...

Yeah, he's not an easy bastard.

From now on, don't call him. Even if he calls, do not see him.

If you have nothing to gain, then you have nothing to give.

You understand? Keep that in mind.

Yes.

There is only one person who could tell us what Scale is thinking about.

So Scale is the only witness, but he didn't see who killed him?

By any chance, are you involved in this incident?

Do you think I'd involve myself in such a terrible thing?

Then why are you asking me something like this all of a sudden?

What's with that tone?

I was just curious about what's going on.

The point is that Scale is saying that the dead man is Doctor's Son.

I wonder why he's saying that when the man isn't actually Doctor's Son.

I'm sure you knew about that.

How would I know that?

How long are you going to try to deceive me?

- What? - The fact that you are with Doctor's Son.

I knew everything.

And if my hunch is correct, Doctor's Son is Shi Hyun.

What the hell are you talking about?

Don't stay near Shi Hyun. Otherwise, you're going to get hurt.

Shi Hyun killed a police officer. And it was Ji Hyung Min's woman.

Ji Hyung Min is not the type to give up easily.

Someday everything will be discovered.

What are you talking about for heaven's sakes?

I didn't come here to hear such nonsense.

You totally ruined my mood. I'm leaving.

Jin Sook.

I got a divorce.

What a joke.

Stupid.

So? So what happened?

What do you mean what happened? It's obvious.

He's guilty of obtaining sex under the false promise of marriage.

My god, that's so funny. He's married and all.

There are so many like that.

- Mr. Hong Gi. - Yeah?

Are going to do that later, also?

Do you think I'm crazy?

Why would I do such a thing with my pretty wife at home?

That means I guess you want to get married.

Of course. I'm definitely going to get married.

- To who? - Huh?

To me?

I'm just joking. You don't need to get all nervous.

I'm kind of offended.

Well, it was a joke, but did you have to look like you stepped on a pile of crap?

Here. Cheers.

So Lee Jin Sook told you to open the back entrance for them?

- Yes. - Do you know what you did?

Jo Ha Neul is dead.

He's dead?

Yeah, Lee Jin Sook used you as a murder weapon.

No, sister Jin Sook wouldn't do that.

Sister Jin Sook? When was she ever your sister?

Fine, you said there were three who came through that back entrance.

Try to remember. Was there anything special about them?

That's right. It was them.

- Are you sure? - I'm sure.

But didn't you say Moon Duk Bae was an undercover agent?

Moon Duk Bae. He's forgotten who he is.

I told you.

The reason why an undercover mission is dangerous is

not because of them but because of yourself.

The moment you forget who you are

you're no longer a police officer, but you are one of them.

Like Moon Duk Bae.

Soo Min.

Don't ever forget who you are.

And why you are doing this.

Don't worry.

Yes.

It's me. Moon Duk Bae.

Long time no see.

You must be busy.

I do have a very active social life.

I'm sure you do.

The reason why I wanted to see you is because...

I feel like it's time for me to give an answer to your proposition.

I'll help you get Doctor's Son.

Doctor's Son died yesterday.

The only person who knows Doctor's Son's face confirmed his death.

- So you believe that? - Do you think it's not true?

The guy who died yesterday wasn't Doctor's Son.

I guess you knew.

Well, I did hear rumors here and there.

Is that right?

Let me ask you one thing.

Are you still a police officer?

That's not important.

Isn't the most important thing catching Doctor's Son?

Why don't you use me? It won't be a bad deal.

You understand?

Let me tell you this now.

After I catch Doctor's Son, it'll be your turn next.

Scale went over to the Doctor's side.

What are you going to do?

- Oh, Min Goo. - Yes.

Where did you learn to be disrespectful like that? Questioning your senior?

- Your eyes seem different. - My apologies.

- Meth Kim. - Yes.

How is your arm?

Since Ji Hyung Min did me a favor and shot me slightly off to the side so...

Then sharpen your blade.

I think Scale has dementia.

Before he paints the wall with shit, we should send him away.

Don't you think that'd be our duty?

- Do you understand? - Yes.

Yes, Chairman.

Yes, I'll come and see you now.

Do we have the thing Duk Bae carries around all the time?

Yes, Chairman.

Give it to me.

What the hell were you doing?

- I'm sorry. - Shut your mouth!

If you had taken care of Doctor's Son, my son... my son!

Make him sit down.

Now, should I listen to your explanation?

After Director Jo found out that I was a police officer, he tried to kill me.

So?

I wanted to stay close to him and protect him.

But I couldn't.

He wouldn't trust me.

I'm sorry.

Then, now, are you a police officer or not?

The reason why I stay as a police officer is to get information.

Actually, I don't really care whether you are police or not.

Whether you get police information or not, you just need to do your job well.

- Do you understand? - Yes.

I'll give you a last chance.

Go and bring him to me at once.

It's okay to cut off his arm or disembowel him.

It's okay to take his eyeballs out or take every bone in his body out.

Just make sure he's still alive when you bring him to me.

That Doctor's Son.

- Do you understand? - Yes.

Are you okay?

- Did Scale come out? - Yes, he's walking out.

Okay.

Taxi.

Scale wants things to end as a tie.

He doesn't want to take any sides.

He's weighing his options between you and Safari.

So what are you going to do?

Okay, I'll take care of it.

- Are you okay? - What is this? Who the hell are you?

My car is not working properly. If I startled you, I'm sorry.

Detective Kim. What happened?

I'm sorry. This bastard made a U-turn out of the blue.

Please don't ask me to do things like this again!

Shut up. You just need to work as much as you have received, you bastard.

Go back to your job.

We got them off.

Okay, thanks. Go and protect him.

Okay.

Okay.

Nice to meet you. I'm Doctor's Son.

Nice to meet you. I'm Doctor's Son.

As I heard, you are quite daring.

Do you not have any hope for your life?

I wonder why you came here?

I want to make a deal.

Is that why you killed Director Jo?

Safari killed Director Jo.

I'm not giving you my time so that I can listen to predictable excuses.

Scale was there. Why don't you call him and find out for yourself?

Call him. No.

Wooden Stick should call.

I'm sorry, Scale.

But the rules of this world are like this.

I wonder why Scale isn't answering his phone?

Finish him off.

Finally, you're showing your true self, Mr. Doctor's Son.

The reason why I waited is not because I trusted you...

I don't trust anyone. I only trust my own judgment.

I only waited to confirm that my judgment was correct.

What are you doing? Finish him off.

[Scale]

Pick it up.

Scale?

This is Scale. Let me talk to the Chairman.

- Scale. - Yes, Chairman.

- It's been a long time. - How have you been?

I understand you have something you want to tell me.

Safari killed Director Jo.

You bastard!

Okay, I'll be calling you soon so wait.

Fine, I guess you were right.

Come here.

I'm going to trust what you say.

But I do have one condition.

Go get Duk Bae and bring him here.

- Do you understand? - Yes.

And one more thing.

Director Jo ended up like that because of you.

I hope you understand.

So I plan on paying you back.

Just pick one. The one you are closest to.

The one you love.

I'll slit that person's throat right in front of you.

Isn't it easy? It's just one.

Hurry up and pick one.

If you can't do it, I'll give you a hand.

You don't seem to have a good social life.

Oh, there is one right here.

There is one but the number is stored under a question mark.

[Mr. Gangster]

[Mr. Gangster]

What is it, Mr. Gangster?

It was a woman. It's definitely the one you love.

- Where did you meet her? - That woman is...

- She's nothing to me. - Liar.

I don't believe that.

Send her a text.

Pusan!

This is no different than discarding me.

You are right.

Our Doc couldn't be the one from the beginning.

Why? Why can't I be the one?

Our Doc didn't get the order right.

You should have come to see me first.

Without my permission, you dared to play your tricks all on your own.

So bravely.

This is why you can't be the one.

Did I explain things now?

Chairman. I'll do much better than Scale or Safari so that woman...

I'll become your dog like before.

So please... please think about it one more time.

All finished thinking.

Just stay put. That's the way to show that you are loyal.

[I'd like to see you at Kent at 10pm.]

Sure, I should at least listen to the excuses he comes up with.

Since I'm the nice one.

Greet her at the entrance.

Yes.

Chairman!

Give me one more chance!

One more time... Please think about it one more time!

- Get him to be quiet! - Chairman, I beg you!

Chair...

What's this? Who are you? Let go! Let go of me!

Let go!

Be quiet!

Mister!

You have good taste.

What a waste.

What is this? Who are you? Who the hell are you guys?

Let go. Let me go!

Get yourself together. Just look at me.

Finish her off.

Get them!

I'm sorry.

You must be involved in something really dangerous.

I found that out for sure today.

I like you, Mister.

What about you?

I'm not going to ask who you are.

But you should stop what you are doing now.

That's the only way you can get out of this alive.

And delete my phone number right away.

[Mr. Gangster]

It's a call from your phone.

Mr. Doc? Answer me, Mr. Doc.

Yes, Chairman.

You just ruined your life for a mere woman.

Keep this in mind. I always keep my word.

So try protecting her as well as you can.

Mister.

Subtitles by DramaFever

From now on, we won't be doing distribution.

We'll build our own drug production facility.

It's me, Doctor's Son.

Come to me.

Don't forget. Because I don't want to die by anyone else but you.

You... I'm going to kill you.

Shi Hyun, you can't win against them.

I know I can't win against them.

I think I must really love him.

I miss him and I'm afraid I'll never see him again.

Why did you kill my mom?

Are you saying I killed your mom, Jung Mi?

Where on earth did here such nonsense?

Have you been thinking that all along?

Is that why you've been trying to get me? Huh?
