DISCOVERING MR. DARCY

Subtitles: Gerigato. May/2021.

Still young, the Princess Victoria...

was kept away of the other children.

This little Charles Spaniel...

it was his favorite.

His name was Dash,

and she wrote in your diary...

about how much he meant to her.

Imagine you growing up in a big castle,

alone in the greatest part of the time,

and then, suddenly, with just 18 years old,

you are crowned the Queen of England.

Because that will be the lesson home for that night.

You will write a text with 300 words...

from the point of view of Queen Victoria,

in 1837.

Ok, get extra credit...

whoever includes Dash in the text!

Uh-uh, Joe?

Please sit back down.

I have lacrosse training.

We talked about it.

You need the media approval...

if you want to stay on the team.

Go to training now, son.

Oh, I'm sorry Mr. Markham, but he has not yet been released.

Oh, I think adults can solve this,

Don't you think?

Joe is thinking...

that you are threatening...

his participation on the lacrosse team.

Oh, of course! I I never said that.

I offered extra help...

so that he is not suspended from the team.

You know, they don't they will suspend you.

He is the best player on the team.

Well, the rules of school say...

that a student needs an approval average...

to play sports.

Well, Miss. Scott,

then it is obvious that you need to pass it.

Joe needs to conquer his own note.

How much do you want?

You're not serious.

People like you There's always a price.

Which one is yours?

This school's grades are not for sale.

I need to remind you...

that my wife is part of from the school board?

I'm sure she She wants students...

receive education for which they pay...

Especially his own son.

Seems confused about how things work here.

But you will learn.

I promise you.

Bliss?

Oh, I'm so happy to see you!

M'Wah.

Oh...

Today was "THE" day, Bliss.

How about taking me to walk?

Good girl.

We need to be fine for that show, young lady.

So, I don't know...

if Joe's father was just trying to pressure me or what.

Oh, I'm sure he just he was puffing out his chest.

What's his name again?

Grant Markham.

I'll look for him.

Mom, the contracts are ready.

Lizzie...

What the hell is doing with Bliss?

Training.

I need to teach her to position yourself...

in different places, with people around...

to be ready for our big show on Saturday.

A dog show is not a place to celebrate her birthday.

But the show is pure fun,

and this is...

just like a party.

I want to invite the best party...

of Smith's wedding.

He is a bank investor.

He's so...

Mom.

You promised.

No trying find me someone.

I am happy...

with myself.

Okay, here it is.

Grant Markham.

He is a lobbyist of Wall Street.

Oh...

These guys really...

like to get everything in your own way.

He won't get it what you want this time.

Am I suspended?

Because Grant Markham did you complain about me?

This doesn't seem reasonable.

It's a formality.

Many private schools do the same.

Isti protects students,

and leave the advice investigate the complaint.

You don't want to know what what really happened?

I don't want to be in the middle...

of a she-said-me-she said.

That's what it's for the investigation.

Dr. Thurston, the truth Doesn't it matter?

Of course it matters.

And you are a good teacher, Elizabeth.

Students like you.

Try to trust the process.

All I know is that...

If I had been fired,

I would be at home, in bed, with a tub of ice cream.

This is the place where I want to be...

With sweet dogs and uncomplicated.

Dogs don't care with money.

They don't even try manipulate people.

They are just pure souls.

Hey?

And you can brush them and make them charming...

I'm going to have a coffee...

in the corner.

I'm going to buy a coffee with milk for your birthday.

Oh...

Okay, well, my group is presents in 20 minutes.

I won't miss this, promise.

Good luck, Bliss.

You don't need Lucky, right?

Are you ready to melt hearts.

What's going on?

A new judge.

We have no idea what to expect from him.

Donovan Darcy.

Never heard of him?

Gabrielle?

Lizzie!

Oh my God.

How long has it been? Three or four years?

My mother knows that Are you in the city?

Not yet.

I brought my terrier, Rose.

I wanted to bring Blossom,

but my trainer broke the leg,

poor thing.

Oh, I'm sorry.

So, do you know this judge?

Yes,

and you have Lucky to have you here.

He is one of the best NY judges...

When you have time, it's like this.

He runs his own Foundation.

They donate millions...

every year.

Oh!

He just arrived.

Interesting that he is the judge of your group.

Almost always the judges of terriers are from the city.

A spectacle to be seen, isn't it?

Liz?

I am fine.

He's almost perfect.

"Number eight"...

Look how he's talking with these people.

Walking, please.

He seemed like a little arrogant.

You have no idea of what he is saying.

"Number eight!"

Give him a chance. It must be super cool.

Where is No. 8?

"Number 8!"

Elizabeth!

Aren't you number 8?

They're calling you now.

Oh.

Oh!

Number eight?

She's late.

Guilty!

This means that Will you take points?

There is something that stops you...

to enter the competition now,

Or do I need to send an invitation for you?

Sorry.

On the platform, please.

You are so serious.

I take my responsibilities seriously.

Most trainers they like that.

Most judges open a smile...

I suppose you like it to do this.

Walking, please.

Beautiful eyes.

It's a shame about those freckles.

I referred to the dog.

Thank you for make it clear.

If you're confused...

about how the things are done here,

I promise you will learn.

You were great!

Or at least Bliss was.

You seemed to be fighting with the judge.

Did you hear how he talked to me.

It sounded like Grant Markham.

Donovan has always been quite charming.

You have a definition other than charming.

Well, a light one, charm, I admit.

The final judgment.

Verdict time!

Our winner.

Our runner-up.

You did it, girl! Yes!

Thanks!

Yes!

I don't believe...

who made me use this...

This hat was my idea. I chose it for you.

You deserve the credit...

for this track, Lizzie.

You led Bliss beautifully.

With Bliss it's easy.

Mm...

I want you to be my trainer,

in New York.

Your sister told me about her suspension.

Did you tell her?

Oh, please.

Your mother is one of mine closest friends.

You called me aunt.

I would never judge you.

You will be my trainer for a few months,

and Rose is on the right path to become champion this year.

If she comes to work for me,

you may have experiences of...

training in large exhibitions,

and could stay with me...

in my triplex.

Thanks...

Seriously...

But I hope to return work soon.

Cheers to that.

Oops. Empty.

I'll be right back.

It's so good to see you.

Mom will go crazy.

Totally.

Thank you for coming.

You are welcome.

You are the best.

- Happy Birthday. - Thanks...

Number 8?

Uh... Elizabeth.

Elizabeth Scott.

I see your desires were realized.

Yes, she celebrates 3.0 today.

And it seems to be pretty fun.

You should wait for me.

Allow me to introduce my sister,

Zara.

This is my sister, Jenna.

You won't spend all day...

talking again, right?

It's as if he were the king,

and I was a little Minion.

I'm sure he That's exactly it.

Let's leave your celebration, then.

You said he it was rude...

but now you who was rude.

Like this?

The sister herself He thinks he's arrogant.

She was playing with him.

Gabrielle! You look fabulous!

You too!

Divorce did you good!

Do you believe...

What is my baby doing 30 years old,

and there is no one to to celebrate your birthday?

I mean, she won't let me find someone for her.

Maybe you should tidy up someone for her...

Mom, keep your voice down.

Look at that little face.

She is beautiful!

Look!

I was happy to receive your call.

I didn't think that the investigation...

was so fast.

Yes, they decided quickly.

So I will be able come back this afternoon?

I'm sorry, Elizabeth.

Won't go back to It's your classroom.

I don't understand.

According to Grant Markham,

you tried to extort him...

to change Joe's grade.

What?

That's not true...

It doesn't matter if I believe that.

Mrs. Markham has a seat on the board,

and she believes.

The council voted...

for you to leave,

for violating the code of ethics of your contract.

That's not right.

Not for me, but by my students.

I think the newspapers they must know that.

Elizabeth, that's not it It's a public school.

It's private.

Which means she makes his own decisions.

Right or not,

they are authorized to fire you.

I can at least say goodbye to my students?

Gabrielle?

 Elizabeth.

That trainer offer is it still valid?

We're here, Bliss...

Let's go.

Here it is, sir.

Thanks.

Let's go.

Here we go, Bliss.

Hey!

Lizzie! Welcome to New York.

Hey! In between.

I forgot my bags.

Another gentleman!

Hey!

Oh, isn't it adorable?

Oh yeah...

Yes, you are.

Miss Scott.

What a surprise.

You.

Mr. Darcy, no I'm understanding.

What are you doing here?

You act like I invaded their territory,

while you are invading mine.

This is my neighborhood.

I can help you with...

I am fine.

I thought you lived somewhere else...

Not here.

Well, my official address

 in Connecticut,

where I grew up,

but this is where I stay when I'm in town.

Oh.

Of course, you have home to spend the holidays...

uh, probably not Hawaii, or in Europe?

Already confused with the place...

Where were you when you woke up?

Are you always so hostile?

Sorry.

It seems like we are provoking without reason.

Yes, I suppose that I was rude.

My opinion, once lost, is lost forever.

What does that mean exactly?

Anything.

Well we have the same passion for dogs.

Yes, this is Phinneus.

And I have another one, Figgy,

It's inside,

she had a litter of puppies.

Hang on...

Do you live on the other side? side of the street?

When I'm not confused about the place where I wake up, yes.

I... wonder why Gabrielle didn't tell me.

Maybe you should ask her.

So this weekend the show is in Mayfair.

It's a beautiful place,

and we hope that Rose do very well,

isn't it, dear?

Yes, we will make it.

Now we need to decide what are you going to use.

Lizzie?

Land for Elizabeth?

Sorry.

What were you saying?

Is everything okay?

Why didn't you tell me...

that Donovan Darcy...

Do you live across the street?

Oh... so, you have already met.

I wonder if...

you two made sparks fly again?

Want to know if...

we came up against the wall of our mutual antipathy?

Yes.

Donovan doesn't dislike you.

I saw the way he looked at you at the D.C. show.

Yes, he seemed to find himself so superior to me,

that he must have had a vertigo.

Believe me,

this man doesn't have nothing to do with me.

Excuse me.

Zara, hello!

Hey!

Donovan said...

I was supposed to invite her to see the puppies.

Oh, that's right!

Figgy had new babies!

Yes, he said to come...

At 3pm tomorrow,

and that you should take your guest too.

Did he invite me?

Um, I'm sorry, you It looks familiar to me.

I saw you in Washington D.C.

You are the woman with no manners...

Or at least that was it what my brother said.

Sorry, everyone says that I have no filter.

One of the reasons for...

because I love teenagers.

I taught a class of secondary education.

I like the way my students always let me know...

how I am with them.

High school teacher.

Wow.

You must be brave,

or crazy.

So, will I see you tomorrow?

We'll be there.

Goodbye.

It saw?

I said Donovan is interested in seeing you again.

Well I don't have any interested in seeing him.

But, I'm going to see the spaniel puppies.

If that's what you say.

Ready!

Out of sight, out of mind.

Come here...

Come here...

Oh, what a good girl.

Hi Rosie!

It's ready to do part of the team?

Oh, what a good girl.

Hello, Linus.

Mrs. Barrow,

It's always a pleasure.

Mr. Darcy apologizes for not being here,

he had a meeting unexpected

but he asked me to receive them...

to visit the puppies.

He is very proud of them.

In between.

Please, this way.

Oh, there's Figgy and their puppies.

Oh yes, and...

Uh...

Let us introduce them It's Mr. Darcy's aunt,

MS. Violet Darcy.

Hi, Violet.

And Miss. Felicity Robson, a family friend.

Ladies,

Mrs. Barrow and Miss...?

Just... Elizabeth.

It's so good to meet you.

?

Should I call Linus for you? give a lint brush?

Oh, I've been working with Gabrielle's terrier...

all morning.

I thought it was just one meeting with the puppies.

They are adorable.

Donovan loves them.

In all these years that I know him,

I've never seen him so attentive for nonsense.

That means something.

Do you know Donovan since he was 16?

And I was 14 years old.

My brother, Henry, is the Donovan's best friend.

And you always succeed find a way...

to be in all his adventures.

Yes, it's the clingy little sister...

whether he wanted to or not.

I know, I have two.

What were they saying about little sisters?

That they are incredible?

Hello, Zara!

I fell in love with your puppies.

They are not the cutest things...

Worldwide?

Where is Donovan?

I need him to help me with my history work.

Oh, he had to leave, dear.

Business at the Foundation.

I would be happy to help you, Zara.

That is not your duty.

Zara, Felicity will help you.

Uh, but Elizabeth is a real teacher.

I took a lot of classes history in college.

Come, show me your difficulty.

Nice to meet you, Elizabeth.

Isn't she beautiful?

She always impressed me.

She tries hard to take care of Zara.

In the end,

she will be the sister-in-law from Zara very soon.

Come to mommy.

My precious little baby.

Admit it,

Donovan Darcy doesn't have nothing to do with me.

He wasn't even there.

Furthermore, he is practically engaged.

I'm sure if he wanted marry Felicity,

I would have already made the proposal years ago.

You are just like my mother.

can't admit it when it's wrong.

Isn't it a beautiful night?

Yes.

M'Wah.

Huh.

Look at this.

Look at this, Bliss.

Number eight!

Nice night for walking, right?

Knead, and then pull...

in the direction that the hair grows.

She likes.

You need to see her in the show.

She loves the judge's attention...

And today will be Donovan Darcy.

Are you sure he has time free with that busy schedule?

I saw the jealous glow in his eyes...

when you saw the photo him with Felicity.

I only felt sad for the trees that were ripped out...

to print a photo of it arriving at a party.

It was a charity party.

He needs to go.

Clear.

And it had to be gossip column...

from the newspaper, too.

Museums and hospitals from all over New York...

they do everything for Darcy.

He's already been to the White House...

advise the president about philanthropy.

Of course the newspapers go after him.

The White House?

Mm-hmm.

It's for you.

Jenna!

Surprise!

What are you doing here?

The Bridal Fair is starts next week.

I thought about coming more early and go with you.

Oh! I'm so happy!

You know where we're going stay, right?

So that's it. This is the big show.

There are many people here.

I wish I had brought pompoms.

I could be the cheerleader from Rose and Blossom.

Hello.

I saw a woman putting wig on the dog.

This is cheating.

Wigs are against the rules.

Are you worried with the cheating?

She was a dog wearing a wig.

Seriously, the dogs show are not normal.

It saw?

They're almost walking to the altar.

Felicity clings to Donovan Darcy like glue.

Felicity is here at my invitation.

Not that my nephew, or our guests,

are your business.

She is unsympathetic.

She brought five dogs here today,

and she thinks it's the circuit queen.

is the woman who showed me...

in the paper with Donovan?

Yes, it's Felicity.

So why is he looking at Elizabeth...

instead of looking at supposed girlfriend?

Why two judges?

The other is a substitute judge.

Donovan is training him.

I knew why Donovan won't be there,

when you went see the puppies.

Aunt Violeta appeared...

and she told Donovan...

that she had a big emergency...

at the Foundation.

She knew you would.

How could she know that?

Oh, she knows everything...

that I shouldn't know.

Donovan thinks she She's the spy of the house.

She's looking at me!

I better go.

Oh, I still need help with my history work.

Can I go tomorrow?

Clear.

Number three, please.

Good luck.

Number three.

Mr. Darcy.

MS. Scott.

This is Mr. Bingley.

Can we see your dog on the platform, please?

The back must be slender and agile...

and the body must be straight when we pass our hand.

He must also possess look vivacious and intelligent.

I don't know what's...

He is citing the standard of the breed border terriers.

I look ahead to hear more.

Mr. Bingley, what the pattern says...

about temperament from a borderline?

I believe it says that the dog must be sweet...

and affectionate.

Sweet and affectionate.

Valuable qualities.

Oh, I almost forgot this part,

they play a lot.

Miss Scott, can we see your dog taking a walk?

Yes you can, Mr. Darcy.

Number 19.

Thank you, Miss. Scott.

Good luck!

It was pretty fun.

Can I sit here?

Henry.

Hey.

Nice to meet you. What's his name?

Uh, Jenna.

Jenna.

Lizzie, meet Henry.

This is my sister, Elizabeth.

Oh. Henry. Nice to meet you.

You are the best friend by Donovan Darcy?

Yes.

I can tell you everything type of stories...

of our rebellious adolescence.

Rebel?

Donovan Darcy?

I hope you don't mind...

if I ask for your sister's number.

You think we're going out.

You can ask me right now.

- How about tonight? - I would love.

Great.

I will still need your number, then...

You can write down on my phone?

Dear brother, There you are.

Hey.

Hello, Elizabeth.

Good to see you again.

Do you know her?

Oh yes, Elizabeth Scott.

I met her at the house by Donovan.

Remember?

Yes, I remember.

Well, it's a pleasure to meet you the two adorable Scott sisters.

See you tonight, Jenna.

I suppose that...

we are going.

She spoke as if liked me.

Maybe she likes it.

The final judgment.

Oh, final judgment!

Good luck!

Our winner.

Our reserve winner.

My girls they all won!

Good job.

Thank you, Mr. Darcy.

Congratulations.

Thanks.

So this is how the winners feel.

It's so sweet.

I said this would be the year of Rose.

She had forgotten. She brought your letter.

Oh.

There it is.

I'm leaving.

Don't wait for me.

I'm so happy for Jenna go out with Henry.

He's a good person, you know that?

A corporate lawyer, the Robsons has a lot of money.

Naturally, it is not the same amount...

of Darcy's money, but still...

Is everything okay?

It's a letter from the lawyer by Grant Markham.

He is threatening sue me...

for fraudulent charges against him.

I said the truth about it,

and now he wants ruin me?

This is ridiculous.

I'm going out to give a walk.

Lizzie...

MS. Scott.

I'm happy, I ran to see you.

No need to speak which is not true.

No, but I am. I want apologize to you...

because I'm not at home...

when he went to see the Figgy puppies.

My aunt told me Exaggerated story.

Sometimes it's a challenge...

follow schedules her mysterious.

I'm curious.

This is something to consider a real problem?

I suppose it depends on How do you define "problem".

Like poverty, illness, oppressed, hungry?

Just because these things...

are not in my problem list,

does not mean that my list is empty.

I can't imagine what be on your list.

I already taught privileged children,

and at any sign of problem,

a father appeared and made the problem go away,

how they did the teacher disappears.

Are you... Are you crying?

I'm not crying...

I don't cry!

Why do you think that I'm crying?

I'm not crying...

Oh, I love to pronounce his name.

Henry...

He's so amazing.

I think he is the chosen one.

You've only known him for a week.

I found out after first date.

When you know, you know.

It was always so easy for you

fall in love with someone.

I wish I could be more like you.

Oh, I think you need to fall in love.

I think you deny it to yourself,

like he does with Donovan.

I won't fall in love by Donovan Darcy.

Quite the opposite.

We only see what is there worst in each other.

It's not true.

You won one different energy

since you met him.

It means dark and stormy?

More like electrified.

Why don't you move on?

Just... let it happen.

It's incredible to fall in love.

Violet?

Can you tell us what What are you doing here?

I'm going deep,

in my search for the right dress.

In fact, I'm here with the charming Felicity Robson.

She is looking for the perfect wedding dress.

It would be rude

if it were to Felicity

ask if she is Donovan's fiancée?

Or maybe I can ask Henry.

She suits him.

Although she is good too much for him.

She's interesting, he's not...

Yes, I heard what you said about Donovan,

and I want you to know that he is a wonderful person.

He is a friend wonderful for me

so many years ago I can't count.

Are you engaged?

There has always been...

an understanding between our families...

that one day we would get married.

I believe that Donovan you will know the right moment.

And I intend to be ready when that moment comes.

Felicity...

They are not engaged.

I don't care.

OK yes.

Yes, I think I understand.

Hey, you're amazing.

Much better than Felicity's help.

At least she tried.

Yes,

If you call me try ignore while staying on the phone.

Well, why not give the benefit of the debt to her?

Your aunt said she can be her sister-in-law soon.

Yes, she does.

Donovan doesn't will marry her.

He yawns when he talk to her.

But don't yawn when talk to you.

He stays wide awake.

Type...

Electrified.

So when you're done your draft,

I will help you edit.

Keep looking, and you will read...

the best text that I already wrote.

Thank you, Lizzie.

Seriously.

"DID DARCY MAKE THE PROPOSAL?" - Do you think this is true?

I don't know.

Hello?

Ladies?

Hello!

Hey.

How was it with your homework?

Good.

Zara is very intelligent.

I know.

Thank God that she has Donovan.

What you mean?

He was the one who took care of her...

when parents died in a boat accident.

Didn't you know?

No, I...

I asked myself why she He lived with his brother, but...

He insisted on staying with her.

He was only 21 years old, and Zara 5 years.

Henry said...

she could have been sent to relatives.

Violet wanted to take care of her.

But Darcy wanted her to stay with him.

He give up...

of all the fun from adolescence...

just to take care of her.

You're right.

I had no idea...

And I told him... that he had no problems.

Violet set this up.

I bet she was...

that she called the newspapers,

and called the photographers.

Maybe I should counter shot with shot, hmm?

Good morning.

Good morning!

I marked it for Rose and Blossom...

the Pet Spa this morning.

We want them come back cute and beautiful...

to the dog show this weekend...

That's your mission for the day.

But preparing them is my work.

Oh, they like to go to the Spa from time to time.

Now hurry up, or you will be late.

There she is.

I'm going out for a minute.

Miss Scott.

Hello.

You can call me Elizabeth.

Or Lizzie.

I asked Zara to give me call Lizzie.

Elizabeth gets better.

It's more...

Let it go.

Why are you here?

Oh... Gabrielle asked me to bring the dogs.

On the same day she knows that I come to bring Figgy every week?

Gabrielle is trying to bring us together.

I'm very sorry,

I wouldn't have come if I had known.

All good.

I would find you anyway.

- I want... - I want...

Please continue.

I want to apologize to you from what I said the other day...

Not about you have real problems.

I was upset for other reasons.

Don't take it personally.

I wanted to thank you for helping Zara.

She said you are a great teacher.

She is a great student,

and obviously think that you are the sun and the moon.

I admire you,

for taking care of her,

even though she is young.

You must admire her.

She...

She and I were together in difficult circumstances.

I don't know why I...

I thought the money protected people from pain,

or the need of work.

Do you think I don't work?

Well, I mean, it doesn't matter Does it work to count your money?

Of course, you have no idea how difficult it is to count money.

It takes days to arrive to a million,

and for the time you spend,

the person becomes so exhausted that can get lost in the count,

and you have to start all over again.

A tiring job.

You know, sometimes you It's almost charming.

I didn't hear you right.

It seems like you said who finds me charming.

Almost.

Not entirely.

Oh!

It's all messed up.

Need to see you.

Don't you think Figgy Are you beautiful?

She refused to wear the ribbon today.

Well, that's because ribbon is for little girls,

and Figgy is already a mommy.

She has matured now.

Hmm?

Well, it was almost a pleasure...

talk to you, Elizabeth.

Almost.

Not entirely.

Let's go. Figgy.

We are back.

Ooh!

The dogs are great!

But that wasn't the goal...

When did you send me there?

Wasn't it?

What are you talking about?

You wanted me to meet Darcy.

I don't have the slightest idea of what you are saying.

Huh.

Hmm!

I don't know who you think you are,

coming to my house with this rubbish...

No, No... Trash?

- Accusing me... - No, she's living...

You need to leave.

You need to apologize!

I don't have any intention...

to do such a thing.

Oh!

There she is.

Maybe she can explain herself.

Explain what?

This!

Here.

Let me read the headline.

"Donovan Darcy was caught yesterday"

"in caresses with a anonymous woman."

"His relationship with Is Felicity Robson finished?"

We weren't caressing each other.

Oh yeah,

We are in the 21st century,

But I'm still sure...

that a woman who tries seduce another woman's man...

continues to be a disgusting creature.

Oh, stop it...

and stand from that pedestal.

Donovan didn't put a ring on Felicity's finger.

This was not a seduction.

If you don't stay away of my nephew,

I will personally make sure that you will regret.

Are you sure you know that Are we in the 21st century?

He's a grown man...

and you can choose with who he spends his time with.

Do you have any ideas...

of the importance of Donovan's role...

as head of the Foundation of the family?

Please...

How many people would it impact?

How important is each choice he takes?

The right wife...

she will make it even more effective in the world.

But the wrong one...?

I see no reason to continue this conversation.

Please go away.

I've already said what needed to be said.

This was a disaster.

If the press tries investigate me,

all the terrible confusion with Grant Markham

can be in everyone the newspapers tomorrow,

and I will never be hired again as a teacher again.

No.

If the cameras follow Donovan Darcy,

I have to stay far, far away from him.

This can be difficult to do.

The "Western Country Show" It's this weekend,

and Donovan is scheduled to judge the terriers.

I feel like there are cameras everywhere,

waiting to attack.

First, we will be very far from the city.

In second place, This photo will be old,

old news.

Everyone will already be talking of the next gossip.

Look at Felicity.

I need to talk to her.

But it's almost time to...

License.

Felicity...

I want to explain myself.

That photo in the newspaper of me and yours...

Donovan.

It gave the wrong impression.

It's okay.

I know that Donovan He is very loyal.

I'm sure it was an innocent encounter.

And it was.

I wish not had happened.

I wish...

never been close to Donovan Darcy nowhere to be found.

MS. Scott?

I believe it is No. 1 today?

I'm...

I think I will...

Although.

How dare you appear here.

Aunt, please.

Don't allow that viper disturb you.

It's not just her.

I don't belong to this world.

public attention, the frames, the intrigue.

Number 1...

It is me. Here I go.

You act like I had offended you.

You haven't seen ours photo in the newspaper?

I advise you to ignore these useless gossips.

Well, maybe you can ignore the what people think of you,

but this is a luxury that I can't pay.

It's not a luxury, It's a choice.

A choice you He does it because he's rich.

My money again.

You, Elizabeth, She's a snob.

Do you want me to say What do I think about you?

Can I see your dog on the platform, please?

I have never met a being more maddening...

than Donovan Darcy.

You two are like Elizabeth Taylor...

and Richard Burton,

arguing with so much passion.

The final verdict.

Our winner!

Our reserve winner.

What are you doing?

People are whispering and staring at us.

If you get confused...

It will only make them whisper even more.

Ha, ha!

Just one more victory,

and Rose will have points enough...

to be the official champion.

He is the circuit director.

Mrs. Barrow, I have been informed...

of a conflict of interest in today's decision,

of Rose in the terrier group.

- What? - That's what my aunt said.

Looks like...

our judge is intimate of the trainer.

I already informed...

that there is none intimacy.

Not even a little.

Look, I'll allow the today's decision remains,

with one condition:

that Ms. Scott doesn't introduce your dogs...

while Mr. Darcy is judging terriers.

But he's on the schedule for judge the next three shows.

I abstain.

I'm afraid this Leave it in bad sheets.

No one will object, Gabrielle.

This is Weston College, again.

I don't have any problems in opposing a bad decision.

This is your world,

and has the right to show me the way out,

and I'd rather leave,

if the truth doesn't matter.

Everything went well.

You will have to find another trainer.

I left you in the lurch,

and I don't want to disturb you longer.

I'm going to pack my...

No, it was my fault.

I sent you to Dog spa...

so that it would meet with Donovan. I...

I...

I also called the newspaper for you.

I was trying to win Violet with the same game,

but the plan backfired.

So don't go.

Thanks.

In truth. I...

I am very grateful...

for everything you did for me,

and for everything you taught me.

And I will do everything who taught me...

when you go to the show with Bliss at home.

But you don't have a job there.

I will always have a job at my mother's bridal shop.

Oh.

That's why no one answered my knock.

I want to apologize...

for everything that happened in last night's show.

I would love to blame you,

but I can't, not really.

Well I would like to discuss the situation,

if you have time.

Well, let's go in.

I'd rather talk about it in another place.

I prefer not to go out...

in all the newspapers tomorrow.

Well I have a friend who collects works of art...

with a room full of pictures,

including an original work of King Charles,

owned by Queen Victoria.

You mean Dash?

Yes, do you know him?

Yes, I taught about this in my class.

Definitely I want to see it.

Give me a minute?

Yes.

I, uh...

I realize now that I was very...

arrogant about of the photo in the newspaper.

Sorry.

I didn't know I would harm you.

Gabrielle told me that you intends to return to DC.

I spoke to the circuit director,

persuaded to reconsider the decision...

that prevents you from be in my group.

You could wait to know what he says?

I know how things work.

The result usually is changed,

and I'm bothering Gabrielle with this.

Well then, bother me.

Are you wanting me stay with you?

No.

I'm offering you a temporary job,

taking care of my dogs.

Zara and I will have to leave the city...

next week,

to family business,

and Linus comes with us.

Clear.

You couldn't stay a week without your butler.

I'll ignore that.

The problem is that I can't take Figgy with me.

Of course not.

Your puppies are very young for the stress of travel.

Gabrielle agreed to look at them.

She usually does this when I leave town.

So! Do you really you don't need me.

Well, not Figgy, but puppies need

They are at an age...

that need to get used to...

with the people who take care of them.

I can't wait for Gabrielle always be careful...

and interact with them for 2 or 3 hours every day,

then I would like you hire for it.

Thank you for the offer,

but the last thing I want It's being in debt to you.

There you go again with your snobbish pride.

No, no, please,

I would hate for you to felt indebted to me.

Donovan.

You can't blackmail me...

for me to work for you.

Great.

If you let me eat the cake,

I take care of your puppies.

People say I am merciless in my affairs.

I can't even imagine why.

Are these your parents?

Yes.

And Zara, too, when she was little.

You guys look so happy...

In this picture.

Like this...

well... normal.

Well... We were eating gold plates there.

They are paper plates.

You are surprising me.

I surprise you because of prejudices you have about me?

I am sure that I already apologized...

for being too fast in judging.

My cell phone number,

the house keys,

in case you come to a different time...

by Gabrielle.

But I don't know how Felicity would feel about it.

About what...

Would Felicity mind?

I saw her buying a wedding dress.

Do you think I'm Felicity's fiance?

It doesn't matter to me one way or another...

I'm not.

I really I don't care.

Not that I have thought about it.

So,

Are you in love with her?

Sorry, no from my account.

Does love matter when it comes to marriage?

Maybe it's better marry someone...

that is appropriate.

Maybe only the fools...

wait to be snatched for passions,

taking away the reason.

I think you and Felicity are well suited.

And you'd be a fool if didn't marry her.

Bliss probably Are you wondering...

Why didn't I take her to still a walk,

So I think I should go.

Elizabeth...

I hope you have a good travel.

That sigh again.

You are in the world of moon these last few days.

I'm bored with this book.

I think I'll go see the puppies.

Lizzie, there you are.

I need to ask you a big favor.

Well then there will be come with me.

I'm going home here in front.

I'm going, too.

Henry invited me to a charity event on Saturday.

It's a tournament Slash Ball sneakers.

I'm so nervous. Bad I can bear this.

That's not my idea to pass the time.

Well, that's bad,

because was about to order...

to come with me.

Well, don't ask me.

I'm being paid to take care of the puppies.

Oh, come on, It's just one night.

We left in the afternoon,

and we go back to next morning.

You said...

that Donovan just needed you to take care of the puppies...

a few hours a day.

Right, and you return with plenty of time for that.

Jenna, come on.

You don't want me to be the candle between you,

on their romantic date.

It wouldn't be like that.

This place is so big as a hotel.

Henry already said that It's okay.

"The more people, the better."

Please?

Thanks.

Right.

Thanks.

I hope you two have brought something to wear...

for the dance tonight.

Our mother owns from a bridal shop.

We have dresses for every occasion.

Are you sure we are ready for this occasion?

Thanks.

Uh, Henry?

You have permission to go in like this?

I spent more time here as a teenager...

than in my own house.

You can put it here.

I feel like we are entering a film set.

Or in a museum.

Ah, there he is.

He is in the courtyard with Zara.

I'll let you know we're here.

Did he just say Zara?

Jenna, we are on the property by Donovan Darcy?

I don't know.

I don't remember Henry say that.

Miss Scott!

You have no other occupation...

otherwise appear Where is it not called?

My sister has one Very useful occupation.

She is a teacher.

She taught at school most prestigious...

in Washington, D.C.

Um, really?

And which school would that be?

Weston High School.

My turn?

Yup.

Good...

It only took two hours to get here.

I thought there would be more traffic.

Lizzie!

I didn't know it was coming.

Me neither.

I said I was bringing two more people.

I'm very sorry.

I didn't know that Henry was bringing us here.

Didn't know?

Huh.

Otherwise...

I wouldn't have come.

I don't know if we should believe her, Donovan.

I'm happy you're here.

I was about to give a checkmate my brother,

if you wish to participate of the next game.

I one...

Thank you, Zara,

but I can't stay.

I need to go back to New York.

I'll call a taxi.

I don't know why you're leaving.

Nobody said that you had to go.

Did you see how Donovan looked at me?

How did I look at you?

I'll let you talk...

You don't need to go.

Zara wants you to stay.

And what do you want?

I want you to stay too.

And what does yours Aunt Violet will say?

Are you scared of my aunt?

She is... terrifying.

Well, I'll tell you a secret.

She is more afraid of you of what you have of her,

and I would like see her trembling,

so stay at it, if there is no other reason.

Or don't stay, if you prefer to go.

But, as far as Zara and I,

you are welcome here.

Well I...

I brought a fabulous dress for tonight, so...

Great.

I am happy.

I have a tennis game To win.

What did I just do?

Your brother will certainly likes to play to win,

Don't like it?

Well, his opponents,

They bet double if he wins.

He raises more money to the Foundation in this way.

Thanks.

He's a cat, isn't he?

I think I'll keep opinion about your brother

for myself.

Well, that's different.

Most women,

fall in love with him.

Like Felicity.

"Oh, Donovan,"

"You have characteristics so aristocratic,"

"I dare say that"

"you will be the father of most beautiful children"

"that the world has seen."

Oh, there you go, bDonovan is about to win.

He always wins,

and I always deliver the trophy to him.

But do you know one,

I think you should hand over the trophy today,

So, I'm going.

Zara, come back here!

What are you doing?

I...

I think I should give you this?

Congratulations on the victory.

I'm looking forward to seeing your fabulous dress...

tonight.

Wow.

Hey, Felicity.

I saw the touching scene of you two...

on the tennis court.

You must think he's yours knight in shining armor.

You are not here by chance.

You're here for Donovan.

I'm not interested in Donovan.

Then why are you trying...

get his attention?

It sank so low, that he even used poor Zara.

I was chosen to take care...

this spoiled girl.

Not you.

And I even defended you from Zara.

Oh, stop.

You don't know respect that I have in the Darcy family.

No more, I don't know.

And you deserve everything that will happen to you.

What does that mean?

You will see.

Oh my God, I love this place.

What it was?

What happened?

Lizzie!

I feel like everyone were looking at me,

like I don't belong to that place.

I don't know how to discern who is it true or false,

who is friend or enemy.

This is a charity party, and everyone is friends.

Except Felicity, of course.

I don't know if I should tell Donovan...

what she said about Zara.

Of course you should.

But not tonight.

Because it's a beautiful party.

Let's just have fun for one night, okay?

There's Henry.

He wants to introduce me to some of his friends.

I hope they like me.

You...

Need a cup in your hand.

This because...

I'm nervous?

I don't know why you I would be nervous.

Are you...

breathtaking.

I agree if Seriously speaking.

I am.

And it's unpleasant for me, how attractive I find you.

It's hard to think straight near you.

I don't like that.

It's quite unpleasant

when the person in question

It's... almost charming.

We have a dilemma,

and I think there's only one way to solve.

As?

Dancing...

We can?

I think it's time.

You know what's more unpleasant?

Hmm?

How are you so good in everything you do.

Tennis champion,

and now,

dance divinely.

I need two to dance.

I feel like I'm...

living the enchanted story from someone else.

Can I interrupt?

Grant Markham?

Aren't you happy to see me?

This is my dance and I have the intention of finishing it.

Make sure you are with the wallet.

She tried to catch mine once.

No...

What was this? Do you know him?

Yes.

I am really sorry,

but I have to go.

Think you can run away from me?

Don't touch me!

You won't escape of me.

Did you try to move with my son

and his future.

I said there would be a Price to pay, right?

Now I'm going interrupt you.

The lady asked to let her go.

Someone forgot the ways, it wasn't

Donny?

Yes.

I think it's time for him to go.

Excuse me,

could you, please drive this gentleman

for his car?

He is bothering our host.

You can't me treat it like this.

I think we can.

You can't treat me like this!

Arrive home safely.

Let's go out and have a drink.

We can?

I ruined your party.

I would say you are the party.

These people live of gossip.

I shouldn't be here.

Your aunt and Felicity they invited Markham...

because they want that I leave.

So let's leave they are silent.

Let's keep everyone quiet.

Anyone who participates from the game...

"Will he do it or not? proposed to Felicity Robson?"

You already have the answer.

He won't.

How could you humiliate me? like that, Donovan?

As?

I considered you as a friend, Felicity,

but, a friend wouldn't bring a snake to my house like...

What's his name?

Grant Markham.

A friend wouldn't bring a snake like Grant Markham...

to my house,

and I don't see any reason...

of you remaining here.

Neither do you, Aunt Violet.

How dare you?

Show some respect.

You will have my respect...

the moment it starts to respect me.

So where were we?

Thank you for this enchanting night,

but it's time to say good night.

Lizzie...

Are you awake?

Jenna...

Jenna... You didn't have to come see me as I am.

Go have fun.

It's a lot of fun.

Henry and I... we danced and danced...

And a lot of people me They asked about you,

and whether or not dating Donovan...

I'm not his girlfriend.

That kiss said the opposite.

That kiss doesn't meant nothing.

Oh, come on.

We all saw the sparks flying.

You can't say...

who didn't feel anything.

Everything I feel now it's hunger.

Oh, how crazy, you didn't eat.

I'll bring a plate, okay?

I'll be right back.

Donny, I need to tell you,

that kiss you gave at Jenna's sister,

was the highlight of night, my friend.

Oh, the kiss...

The kiss was for...

The kiss was to silence Aunt Violet for good.

The kiss was because you like the girl.

Why would I like her?

Why?

Because I like it by Elizabeth Scott?

She is proud...

- Beautiful... - It's thick...

intelligent, she was captivating in the ball gown,

gave you the trophy, this kind of thing.

Yes, yes, all of that...

You are absolutely fascinated by her,

that's a fact.

Admit it.

Mm-hmm.

We need to leave.

Let's go, let's go.

- What happened? - Let's go!

What happened?

Jenna!

What's going on?

You will call a taxi at this time?

Let's go back to NY.

We won't stay because you used my sister.

Please wait. Please wait.

Please let me explain.

Don't try to say that Jenna got it wrong.

Okay, I said things unflattering,

but if she had stayed for another two minutes,

she would listen to me tell Henry...

that I was just pretending...

when I said no I felt nothing for you,

when I kissed you, because I feel.

I spent my whole life...

hiding...

behind busy schedules of several women,

including my aunt,

but you did it tear down my defenses,

and did it in my heart,

and I decided that we we belong to each other.

Have you decided?

You don't decide who I belong or I don't!

I know that.

I know I am... I am...

a little confused in apologies,

and it's hard to apologize with you standing here,

with bags in hand.

I realized now...

I thought about you a lot in the last few weeks,

and it was because I I fell in love with you.

An unfortunate fact for you.

But that's because You are so obstinate...

And clearly I like it of strong-willed women.

Please leave me alone.

You are furious.

What did he say?

He had the courage to tell me...

that he is in love with me.

I really would like that you weren't.

Don't think so we are grateful.

We are very... very grateful.

But it's time.

This is not true.

Darcy doesn't want that you see.

Look...

He sent a letter...

He arrived by messenger this morning.

I don't want the letter.

I'll make her read it.

I will read the letter.

I don't care what you say.

So, I won't tell you.

OK...

Okay... Say what He wrote.

He thanked you...

because you always She was honest with him.

He said you're the only one woman he met...

who doesn't treat him any different...

because of the money.

You don't even look like with his money.

He likes you challenged him...

at every moment.

He talks about...

how he sees so many things differently because of you.

He says love changes people...

Lizzie, he really loves you.

I think you should stay.

He told me once...

which is known to be ruthless in business.

This is just a letter of a rich man...

who found something that he cannot have,

and now he wants it.

I don't want to stay here.

I want to go home.

OK! Don't avoid me,

Elizabeth Anne.

I spoke to Gabrielle,

and she said there was a kind of romantic disaster.

It was not romantic and there was no disaster.

Oh?

Well, certainly it felt like a romance,

From the photo I saw online...

What?

I researched him.

His name is Donovan Darcy.

He is handsome,

he is rich,

It's famous...

He is also arrogant it's rude.

Except when he's not...

You are not helping.

Well, you know he...

Donate part of the money...

to finance institutions children...

and hospitals in poor areas?

Here it says...

that he gives more money for charity...

than anyone else throughout New York.

Let me see this...

Not a man that changes lives?

It's from Weston High School.

...and, along with his reinstatement,

the Council also voted to give you a raise,

normally you would achieve this value after five years.

It's almost a 20% increase

in your salary.

Wow.

This is surprising.

What happened?

It was a confidential record,

but we received information...

about Grant Markham...

Information they place

your statements about yourself...

in...

a different light.

Mrs. Markham too, Apparently,

is aware of this information.

She resigned from advice and...

and removed the son of this school.

And this information...

would have come from Donovan Darcy?

I don't have the freedom to tell you.

Well then I won't tell you what I think...

about priorities of the Council,

and how this school It is administered...

Elizabeth...

I will leave them.

"Thank you but, No, thank you."

Oh, Lizzie, you lost!

The sweetest reunion!

He literally ran to her.

He caught her,

and turned in her arms.

What are you talking about?

Isn't it incredible?

Henry said he rented a house nearby,

so he can come to here on the weekends...

and stay close to me.

I should have rented a house before.

It was Donny, actually. who recommended it to me.

He said if I don't follow my heart,

that I would regret one day.

Did Donovan say that?

Well, before I disappear from the face of the earth.

What do you mean?

He disappeared.

Him and Zara, actually.

This is, no one knows where they are.

I am happy...

that you two be together.

Thanks.

It's too early...

to look at the wedding dresses?

Mom!

Let's go with her wave.

Hi, Donovan?

It's me... Elizabeth.

It's very important. I want to talk to you,

apologize to you...

Say how sorry I am for the way I left.

It was my mistake to do that.

I read your letter.

I read it again and again, and...

It's beautiful.

And I am too in love with you.

I left another message for Donovan,

He said I returned,

I'm going to look for one teaching job here,

and that I will stay with you, for a while...

Said I'm anxiously at his door,

waiting for him to come back.

He didn't tell you anything about the place you went?

No.

I think you left his heart.

I broke my heart, too.

If only he returned home.

On the bright side, there's a show dog this weekend.

You could go in with Bliss.

No, Donovan is not on the schedule as a judge.

Good...

I will participate in anyway.

You are very beautiful...

today, Bliss.

Oh...

But I'm not excited.

Ooh!

Okay, fine, I'll go take you out.

Number one...

Calling Number 1...

Hey, are you Number 1?

They are calling you,

and the judge doesn't seem very happy with it.

Always late.

You are here.

MS. Scott.

I... I heard your messages.

Your satisfactory messages of repentance.

Yes.

Sorry.

Very sorry.

I was especially pleased for hearing your confessions of love.

This means that Do you still...?

If I'm still in love with you?

Yes.

Even more than imagined being.

And me...

I still stand firm in my decision...

that you and I belong each other.

Even though...

you are a woman difficult to conquer.

Consider that you won me over.

Yes!
