Episode 23

Mr. Xin.

Have some water.

Du Nian.

Mr. Xin.

I know now everyone has thought that is me.

But I didn't do it.

I know.

You knew?

And the news Qingkong Entertainment is gonna force you out.

Force me out then. I'm not afraid.

In fact, during these days at home.

I've realized many things.

It will be mine if it's meant to be.

I will not give up.

Nor give in.

Because I'm young.

Because things between Xiaoxing and me.

It was my fault.

I'll apologize to her officially.

Xiaoxing came here to rest.

It means, she didn't blame you.

It's just, these days, she depends on you two.

Of course.

We're good friends.

Du Ruo. How is Xiaoxing now?

Xiaoxing fell asleep.

But still don't wanna talk.

I'm worried she might....

I know.

I'll often come to visit.

If it's okay.

No problem.

Thank you.

Du Nian.

No one can cover the truth.

Especially someone who used Shenghua and Life Tide.

Jiang Ye.

Mr. Xin.

Is Shen Xun feeling better?

Mr. Xin.

Shen Xun decides to apologize to the public.

Although I don't know how this will end.

But we should hope for the best.

But if.

I mean if.

There's no if.

Shenghua will support any decision Shen Xun makes.

Any?

Any.

I want to thank you

represent Shen Xun, Shu Zhan,

Mr. Shu and myself.

Do you need me to be there now?

No need Mr.Xin.

A man like you.

No wonder Shen Xun could not let go.

But, I hope she can stand up by herself.

After all, you can't give her the result she wants, right?

I can understand.

Okay.

Having a friend like you.

I think Shen Xun will get through it quickly.

Jiang Ye.

Don't worry.

You're not fighting alone.

Shenghua got your back.

And me.

Mr. Xin.

But now all the company want nothing to do with Shen Xun.

Are you sure Shenghua wants to be involved?

Of course.

Shen Xun

is my best friend.

Fang Li, arrange it for me tonight.

Still saying she doesn't have a friend.

Sis Ye.

My dad passed away when I was ten.

Mom became a nanny.

She brought me to that house with her.

The employer is uncle Shu Wangzhi,

like the news everyone saw.

Shu Zhan's father.

Uncle Shu treats us well.

Shu Zhan and I grew up together like brother and sister.

My mother isn't highly educated.

But she knew how to be a good person

She always told me,

A person should be grateful.

And should work for the best.

Then I grew up.

I accepted an interview.

He asked about my background.

Said I have talent in art.

Asked if my parents are artists.

I accepted their praise.

Didn't say otherwise.

I thought if a female superstar

will be brighter with a good background.

But I was wrong.

Now,

I only want to apologize.

First, I want to apologize to my mother.

Mother.

I'm sorry.

And I also want to apologize to everyone.

As an idol,

I made the worst example.

A very bad idol.

I've read the comments lately.

You could be more harsh on me.

I think I'm so lucky

to be that Shen Xun you all liked before.

I'm so lucky.

To have so many family and friends

who did so much for me.

Although I put their effort under my shadow.

So at last,

I want to take this opportunity

to say I'm sorry to you all.

It's okay.

Things will get better.

Hello.

I have no time to waste with you.

First.

I know you were investigating Xiao Qing's hospital.

Stop it right now.

Second.

Shu Zhan's concert tour will start immediately.

Qingkong Entertainment will send pros to arrange it.

Here's the thing.

I was investigating Xiao Qing's hospital to visit her.

As for the concert.

Shu Zhan isn't good enough to start that.

There's nothing I can help.

A deal is a deal.

It's signed so it's happening.

Rushan.

Now Zhan has back to the stage when he was fourteen years ago.

What else do you want?

I want my daughter to be healthy!

Rushan

You're becoming insane.

What you need the most now isn't revenge.

But a psychologist!

No matter you'll believe it or not.

I'm not only care about Shu Zhan.

And you also.

Where were you fourteen years ago when I needed your care?

My daughter and I are like two rags.

Got ignored. Got cast away.

Shu Wangzhi.

Unfortunately, I'm not the one who need psychologist all the time.

But Shu Zhan!

Welcome to see the entertainment news today.

Produced by Huashi ceremony

Directed by young director Cai Cong,

Youth idol drama Awkward Hai Ruhua

Starring Zhu Xudan, Lai Yi.

Will be on live on Youku.com this evening.

As reported.

This drama is about a funny...

Xiaoxing.

It's the first time director Ye came

to our house to eat, right?

Useless. You fool.

Xiaoxing.

I just got a commercial shoot.

Then after that I will be free.

How about I take you to travel?

Travel is good. Travel.

I haven't been on a travel for long.

I'm in. I'm in.

You also wanna go?

Yes!

Then let's go together.

Great!

Boss you're the best.

You're great.

Du Nian. Come with us?

Yes.

I'll also go. I'm in.

Take me!

I can pay for myself.

Right, more people more fun!

Right?

More people more fun.

- Right, let's go together. - Right.

It's reported that,

recently Ruizhong Entertainment has two news leaked out.

One of the party involved, Shen Xun

has made an apology to the public through a video.

The other party Shu Zhan

has disappeared for days in public..

Please stay with us for more news.

Ji Xiaoxing!

Do you know what you're doing now?

How long will you keep being like this?

Don't yell at her.

Xiaoxing, are you burnt?

Uncle, why you didn't get upstairs.

Director came here everyday.

Always stays for one or two hours.

He can see Xiaoxing's bedroom from this direction.

But actually.

There's nothing he can see.

I can hear her.

Even I can't see her.

If anything happens.

It'll be nice to have a car waiting downstairs.

How is Xiaoxing?

Still not talking

Like that after the car accident?

But the good thing is.

Her actions are still normal.

Can communicate with the others.

She will not want to see me right now.

She will reject to see me.

But you're different.

If you're not busy lately.

I hope you can come here more often.

To keep her company.

I will.

What does the doctor say?

The worst thing of psychological illness is playback.

In fact, there's another person

who would come to see her everyday.

Xin Yuanling.

He likes Xiaoxing.

I know.

With him here

is also a good thing.

But Xiaoxing loves Shu Zhan.

I know.

That's what worries me the most.

Look, such a big world,

Why on earth they would....

They two being together.

It's not good for each other even for one second.

That's it?

Isn't there any other way?

I've studied their medical history and pills they took.

To be honest,

who were treating them is the top psychologists in this industry.

But they were not getting better.

In normal words.

Habit cures habit.

I know the source.

But really have no idea.

Then have you considered to break it one by one?

What do you mean?

For example.

When the medicine can't cure them,

Why don't you go with their way?

Didn't you say Ji Xiaoxing is Shu Zhan's cure?

Maybe in the end,

it needs them two to cure each other.

No.

It's not right.

I'm Ji Xiaoxing's cure.

Shu Zhan is more like the poison to her now.

But does Ji Xiaoxing love you?

Sometimes,

the one which looks like the poison

can cure the person in the end.

Senior.

Are you really the psychologist I knew?

Did you run to some mountain to cultivate without telling me?

But do you have any other option

except this one?

Maybe in the end,

It needs them two to cure each other.

Sometimes,

The one which looks like the poison

can cure the person in the end.

Mr. Xin.

How is she?

She got burnt seriously

But still didn't say a word.

Mr. Xin.

She couldn't even shout out anymore.

Being with her in here everyday.

She also smiles.

But her eyes are so empty.

There's nothing in her eyes.

Xin Yuanling

Xin Yuanling

Xin Yuanling

Hello.

I wanna see you.

There's nothing I want to say to you.

About Xiaoxing.

I've told you,

I admit all that you said.

So you're so afraid, couldn't even get out?

How could I get defeated by such a coward rival?

Where?

I'll go straight to the point.

I hope you can see Xiaoxing.

Since

she has decided to go abroad to study.

Then you should take her away asap.

You can't fight with aunt He anymore.

This industry doesn't suit her.

What about you?

Your situation,

do you think Xiaoxing would leave?

Will she leave without worrying about you?

In fact.

Fourteen years ago.

I followed my dad secretly

to go to sis Qing's hospital once.

At that time, the same as my father

I thought sis Qing had...

That's right.

That's an accident.

But that accident took away a daughter from her mother.

Her blood was under my feet.

She grabbed my hand.

Looked at me.

Xin Yuanling.

I don't deserve to be cured.

I don't deserve to be with Xiaoxing.

Shu Zhan

I don't care about that.

I came to see you today,

is because only you can save Xiaoxing.

Xiaoxing is in bad condition.

Very bad condition.

Aphasia.

Autism.

Her autism isn't like yours.

She won't talk.

Only smiles.

Like nothing has happened.

You feel guilty.

But you forgot she would feel guilty too.

Not only for the car accident.

Also you.

She thought you got the untouchable disease because of her.

Shu Zhan.

She put all the pain on her shoulder.

Do you know that?

So you just sit and watch her like this?

Who promised me in here that he would protect her?

If I have any other solution,

I wouldn't come to see you today.

Why you didn't recognize her?

Why you didn't recognize she was the girl fourteen years ago?

You should have recognized her.

You should have stayed away from her.

But it's too late now.

You dragged her back to the dirt.

Shu Zhan, do you know how much I envy you?

I'm not her cure.

You are.

Yes, I can let her speak in front of the lens.

But you.

You are the person who can drag her out from misery.

So Shu Zhan.

Consider...

Consider I'm begging you.

Help me.

You're awake?

Awake?

Xiaoxing.

You know what day is today?

First run of Life Tide.

Xiaoxing.

Let's go there together.

Right, let's go together.

Will be good to have some fresh air.

It's so boring to stay at home.

That's right.

What's this?

You are not here for me or Du Ruo.

But do something for yourself.

Don't tell me you don't care.

If you really don't.

Will you keep this still now?

Fine.

Since you don't care.

This doesn't mean a thing.

The box office is very successful.

Now you can relax.

It should be or exceed my participation.

Mr. Xin.

You're not here to listen to my praise, weren't you?

No.

I just want to retell you some words.

Someone told me,

You lost a healthy daughter by an accident.

So why on earth should they be cured.

Why on earth should they be happy.

I've heard of that.

That meaningless.

All the people told her,

it's just an accident.

But she couldn't let it go.

Because of Xiao Qing's blood

was in front of her.

She couldn't forget.

Is there anything else?

Don't you need to go to the premiere?

Of course I will.

I want to invite you too.

After all, all the starring are from Qingkong Entertainment.

Your company.

You didn't set a bomb in the premiere.

I wouldn't.

Please.

Right, Du Nian.

Do you need to go to Shenghua first?

It's a group interview.

They hate people who showed up late.

I'll take Xiaoxing to take a walk first.

See you tonight at the premiere.

Xiaoxing.

In fact, these days

I owe you

an apology.

No matter what,

this house will belong to us three forever.

If you're upset.

Come back at any time.

We'll wait for you.

Du Nian.

Since when you started to talk so much?

Let's go.

Bye.

Beauty. Need a ride?

It's free.

Still angry?

Don't be.

I've apologized.

With all my sincerity

Sincerity?

Where is that?

See, I came to pick you up in person.

I did makeup.

Put on this coat.

Did my hair.

You want me to take your motorcycle.

And blow all of that away.

That's your sincerity?

In fact,

You're here to see Xiaoxing.

Just take me by the way.

Not that.

Still deny it?

I saw your motorcycle downstairs long time ago.

So sneaky.

I wasn't sneaky.

You told me too many people will give Xiaoxing too much pressure.

And I swear that,

I came here to apologize to you.

It's just I didn't expect you would wear a dress.

I'm sorry.

How about this.

I'll call you a cab.

Time is rush.

This will do.

Du Ruo and Xiaoxing are on the way.

They'll be there on time.

That's good.

Well, at this moment,

Will there be a traffic jam.

Can we trust that driver?

There can be no mistake in this.

Or it'll be all screwed.

Never mind. I should go there myself.

Uncle.

I know your feeling.

But if you go to see He Rushan now.

You might irritate her.

But you...

Fine.

Director, the interview is about to begin.

You can go in.

Let's go.

Ye Ling.

This premier.

Just consider it as a test.

You've already handed over the test paper.

Whether it's good or not.

It's not the investor's call.

Nor me.

The one who matters

are those audiences.

It was like this before.

Now

And also in the future.

Although I'm your uncle.

I also have another identity.

Executive Producer

Now as your executive producer

I must say something.

As a director.

You're not bad.

Xiaoxing.

If you're nervous.

Sleep for a while.

Xiaoxing. We're arrived.

Come. Xiaoxing.

Come.

Xiaoxing.

Xiaoxing.

Xiaoxing.

There's no cab here, Xiaoxing.

Xiaoxing.

What's going on?

Aren't we going to the premiere.

Why are we here?

It's still early.

Don't worry, Mrs. He.

What do you mean?

Let's go.

Xiaoxing.

Come.

Come.

Since you don't wanna live well.

Then let's die together.

So we can both be relieved.

Come.

Come.

Why are you hiding?

Come.

So we can both be relived.

It's better than suffering all the time.

Come.

Together.

Let's give our lives back to sister.

Xiaoxing.

Come.

Let's die together.

Xiaoxing.

Xiaoxing.

Let me do one last thing for you.

Xiaoxing.
