Episode 22

I'm here today

to disclose everything.

He Rushan! What happened back then is just an accident. These two kids have been suffering for so long for that!

You've done much enough. What else do you want?!

What happened fourteen years ago...

Has anything to do with Mrs. He?

Director Yanzhi.

You really have protected your daughter so well.

What about my daughter?

Aunt He, I...

Ji Xiaoxing.

Fourteen years ago.

The girl whom you and Shu Zhan hurt together,

is my daughter.

Mrs. He, what... What nonsense are you talking about?

If you didn't hear it clearly, I'll say it again.

Fourteen years ago.

The girl whom you and Shu Zhan hurt together,

is my daughter.

So...

You're that girl?

Rushan, are you happy?

Yes.

We'll really be a family

when our wedding ceremony finishes next month.

Wangzhi, thank you for not minding my past

and my daughter.

What you're talking about. How would I mind that?

I also have a son.

Don't worry, I'll treat Qing well.

Treat her as my biological daughter.

Wangzhi, thank you.

Qing, Zhan, be careful.

I know there is a very wonderful music fountain ahead. Where is it? Is that far?

Not at all.

Just across the road. Now go.

Hurry.

Shall we tell father and mother first?

So the police investigating the accident said

that little girl was naughty

and she was at odds with her parents.

Then crossed the road crankily.

So that little girl,

that little girl saved by sis Qing...

Is you?

The thing happened fourteen years ago

is just an accident.

No one wanted that to happen.

I don't know what you're hating.

And whom you're hating.

What I'm hating?

That's my daughter!

My pretty and healthy daughter is out of consciousness.

As her mother,

I have no right to hate?!

If it's not him,

my daughter wouldn't have crossed that fucking road.

If it's not her,

my daughter wouldn't have been hit by a car.

But he...

He Rushan, that's what happened in the past.

Didn't you promise me back then

that you wouldn't fuss about it.

What's the meaning of saying that now?!

I promised you? Or you just used your fame

and connections to suppress all the news!

You suppressed all the news.

Only because the news would

affect you to get the Best Director Award!

You've protected your daughter well.

But what about my daughter?!

What are you gonna do?!

You're gonna study overseas?

Let go!

You want to forget everything?!

Do you remember that

my daughter used her life to save you!

You've forgotten that?!

Let go!

Director Yanzhi, I'll take her out first.

Ji Xiaoxing! If you leave now,

Shu Zhan will be beyond redemption!

Xiaoxing, go out with Mr. Xin.

You're not needed here.

Ji Xiaoxing.

You not only hurt my daughter,

but Shu Zhan as well, you know that?

Mr. Xin, you may don't know.

Shu Zhan, all his acts before

is not that he likes putting on airs.

It's because that he got untouchable disease

since that car accident happened!

I thought that

you both have got what you deserve.

But you two both recovered.

Why?!

Why?!

He Rushan, your daughter saved Xiaoxing.

We feel really grateful.

I swear I'd like to giving everything to atone for you.

But you.

What the hell are you doing?! What do you want?!

I want my daughter to wake up!

Can you do that?!

Do you know

what Qing looks like now after being hurt by you?!

Listen.

She's still alive,

but not better than being dead!

I feel that you look better today.

Maybe...

Qing!

Qing!

Doctor! Doctor! Doctor!

Please leave first. Please leave first. Please, okay?

Hello, Wangzhi.

Qing is again...

Wangzhi, I remember that you once told me that

you know a very authoritative brain surgeon.

Can you invite him here?

About the fee, I'll surely...

I'm sorry, Rushan.

Let's talk about it later. I'll call you later.

Look. Director Yanzhi's new movie.

Look.

I've been expecting for more than half a year.

The leading actor is so handsome.

Yes. I like him very much.

He is both handsome and good.

So the handsome actor you told me last time is him.

Yes. I've seen him in person.

More handsome when he is working.

Isn't that right?

How to say.

She may inherit more of my genes.

She...

I went to the concert of the leading actor.

Very wonderful. He is handsome on the spot.

Yes. He is really awesome in singing.

He is of many talents.

It's not sure.

Anyway I'm a liberal father.

You're all happy.

What about my daughter?

I can see her laughing without any worry everyday.

You all forget?

I'm very contented.

Thank you, director.

Hello.

Where is the little girl on this bed?

Are you her friend or family?

I'm her family.

My condolences.

She doesn't make it. And died last night.

Thank you, nurse.

It's okay, Mrs. He.

After you take her back, do ask a professional carer

to look after her all the time.

And come to have regular checkups.

Maybe you're don't want to hear this.

But I have the duty to tell you the truth.

There is little possibility that your daughter will wake up.

You need to be mentally prepared to have a long-term care.

It's okay.

Even she is not willing to wake up,

I'll still wait for her.

I only have her with me.

I won't let anyone to bother her again.

That Qing hurt by you two.

You two are living a healthy and pretty life now.

Even have been in love.

But my daughter.

What did she do wrong?

What did she do wrong?! Not the kids' fault.

Even they did wrong,

we parents should take the responsibility for them.

Yes, I suppressed the news.

I told Xiaoxing that

a little sis saved her.

Then her family migrated abroad.

And didn't want to mention it.

Not like what you thought.

I didn't mean to get the Best Director Award.

He Rushan, for these years,

your company has developed so quickly.

And got the best domestic resources. Don't you know why?

Because I feel sorry for you!

I'm atoning for you!

But can you atone me a healthy and happy daughter?!

Can you make her simile and dance like they do?!

You can't.

Shu Zhan!

Shu Zhan!

Shu Zhan!

Shu Zhan!

I'm sorry.

It's all my fault.

I made sis Qing become a vegetable!

And got you untouchable disease for fourteen years.

I'm sorry.

My fault.

If I hadn't took sis Qing to see the music fountain,

she... She would have been okay.

All my fault.

Or she would have been okay.

All my fault.

No. It has nothing to do with you.

You can't put all the fault on you.

Shu Zhan, listen.

Zhan.

A bastard exposed your case report

and the news that Shen Xun's mother is actually a nanny.

Don't worry. I'll try to solve it.

I'll hung up first.

Shu Zhan.

What's wrong with you?

Shu Zhan!

It's good.

Where to put it...

Awesome.

It must be the best gift for Xiaoxing.

But will this make Xiaoxing unhappy instead?

No.

I know Xiaoxing.

She always sees the positive side.

Hello, An Ge.

I'm at home.

Today? I'm okay.

Okay. See you later.

Who's that?

An Ge?

Why he wants to see you?

I don't know, either. It's so sudden.

So sudden? Then hurry go dress yourself up.

Look. Your clothes

and your hair, really a mess.

I won't dress myself up.

Only do that when go see friends.

An Ge is my workmate.

A workmate is not a friend.

Really gorgeous.

Who said that a workmate is not a friend.

I just pay attention to politeness.

It's right to dress myself up.

Enough. I gotta go.

A grown girl can't be kept at home.

An Ge.

How is everything going?

Why you asked me out so suddenly?

What's up? You look unhappy.

Anything happened?

Will you need me to tell you what happened?

What the hell happened? Du Nian, the day we finished the movie.

I thought you wouldn't do anything wrong again.

It's said that drama is like our life.

But you use your best acting skills

to cheat and hurt the others. Right?

An Ge, you okay?

How did I offend you?

You come from afar to scold me.

Keep acting?

What I'm acting?

Shen Xun's mother is a nanny.

And Shu Zhan's untouchable disease.

Isn't that you who spread it out?

How did you...

How did you know that?

How did I know?

I also don't wanna know, okay.

I went to your room the day our movie finished.

And you hid all the photos well at that time.

But still left one on the floor.

And I picked it up.

Don't you remember?

Now there are comments

scolding Shen Xun and Shu Zhan.

Even Xiaoxing has got involved, are you satisfied now?

The crew of Life Tide.

You're the perfect one.

Are you satisfied?

Do you want to leak my news out?

I'll tell you my secret.

What do you want to know?

Not me.

Then who is that?

I admit that I got Ji Xiaoxing wrong.

Also admit that I took revenge on her using the public opinions.

I admit all that I did wrong.

If Xiaoxing now is here,

and slap me on the face as I did to her in the hospital.

I will accept it.

But I won't admit the thing I didn't do.

No one can frame me.

No one!

Especially you.

An Ge.

The photos you've seen.

I've given them back to the company.

It's impossible that I spread it out.

Yes. I know that

you like Xiaoxing all the time.

You always stand by her,

protect her, care about her.

But I.

Does I have "Bad Guy" these two words written on my face?

You really hate me like that?

I heard that you asked me out.

I felt so happy.

Got up to do makeup and dress myself up.

Got changed. And Du Ruo even laughed at me.

I came to you excitedly.

But you just suspected and scolded me.

An Ge, I don't wish that you could like me now.

But you can't get me wrong indiscriminately!

I'm a girl. I also have my pride.

And want to get the trust of my beloved one.

Du Nian!

If it's not him,

my daughter wouldn't have crossed that fucking road.

If it's not her,

my daughter wouldn't have been hit by a car.

Do you remember that

my daughter used her life to save you! You've forgotten that?!

You two are living a healthy and pretty life now.

Even have been in love.

But my daughter.

What did she do wrong?

What did she do wrong?!

What's wrong with that man?

I don't know.

Hello, Mr. Xin.

I haven't found him yet.

How about you?

Okay. Then I'll look around here.

Tell me at once if you get any news.

Okay.

Sir, stop that car.

Stop!

Zhan!

What are they doing?

Take it. Let's go home.

Mr. Xin. Xiaoxing is at the crossing of Ninghai Road.

Xiaoxing!

Du Nian.

You stayed up the whole night?

God.

An Ge. Bad guy!

I help you scold him!

Or beat him!

Any use of scolding him?

Everyone will think it's me who did that.

I know it's not you.

It must be He Rushan who told the others to do that.

That vicious wretch!

Will Xiaoxing think you did that?

Who call me in so early in the morning? Hello?

Mr. Xin.

Xiaoxing.

Are you okay?

God. How...

What happened? Who bullied you?

Mr. Xin.

Doctor... What did doctor say?

How is Xiaoxing?

Fever has gone down.

Director Yanzhi is talking about her illness with the doctor.

I guess she may need to stay in the hospital.

Maybe you're better to look after her.

I'll look after her all the time.

I... I'll keep her company.

Xiaoxing.

Xiaoxing, the doctor said you should have a rest.

Take good care of her.

Xiaoxing, you...

I...

Director Yanzhi, how is that going?

The doctor said that she needs to have a rest

in a place she is familiar with.

Can't get stimulated again.

Director, how about I go to follow them?

No need.

She'll think of me once sees you.

All my fault.

I thought I can protect her

once I suppressed the news, but...

I'll go check her.

I'll contact you if anything happens. Okay?

Mr. Xin.

Thank you.

Zhan.

Zhan, I fetch you the meal. Okay?

Zhan. Don't worry.

The news will be solved by Jiang Ye.

Actually the audience.

The audience will forget it soon.

Not for long,

they will forget everything.

Zhan.

I'll leave then.

Dad.

Can you help me check

which hospital sis Qing is in?

Okay.

So funny.

Shen Xun.

Let's have some wine, okay? Why?

I'd rather you're crying and yelling

than see you like this.

Shen Xun.

If you've sorrow deep down,

just let it out.

I'm venting it. The cartoon is really funny.

Gosh. Look. Look.

Can you stop being like this?!

Then what you want me to do?

Zhan's illness relapsed!

I don't want you to...

I don't want you to get into sorrow.

In fact, the news was leaked out.

I feel much more relieved instead.

My mother was a nanny when I was a kid,

I thought it's shameful.

Felt that I'm worse than other kids in every aspects.

I'm sorta self-abased since I was a kid.

Then it's rumored that I'm of a rich family. I didn't deny it.

But felt very happy.

Then I began to cheat myself everyday.

At last, I even believed that.

I offered all kinds of requests in the crew.

And did the things that the others hate.

But what I've got at last?

No use of crying. Nor having wine.

In the future...

Maybe I won't have future.

Shen Xun.

I didn't have that feeling before.

But now I've found that

being your broker

is really shameful.

Why you're looking at me?

Am I wrong?

Yes.

You're a superstar and can get me much money.

I've to spoil and support you. So I deserve that.

But I really can't stand your hiding like this.

The others know that your mother is a nanny, so what?!

You also fall down?!

Yes, you failed your fans.

Then just make efforts to let them regain the hope.

You didn't want to become a poor girl.

Then you told a lie that you're of a rich family.

Now you don't want that image.

You feel stressed.

Then you just give up easily?!

Shen Xun, we can't be like this.

Even you're a woman, you can't be that timid anyway!

How should I overcome that?

Tell me how!

In the past,

I would get many messages everyday.

Everyone asked me

"Sis Xun, can you recommend me to star in a movie?"

"Sis Xun, can you recommend me to shoot an ad?"

"Sis Xun, do you have time to receive my interview?"

But now.

Look. No message.

No one. Very quiet.

Jiang Ye, I have no other friend except you.

Do you believe that?

Okay. Wait and see.

Hello, darling. What are you doing?

Are you free? Let's go have some tea.

Hello, darling. What are you doing?

Hello, darling. What are you doing?

Are you free? Let's go have some tea.

Hello, darling. What are you doing? Are you free? Let's go have some tea.

Saw the message just now.

So you want to have a meal with me?

Or have coffee.

Both are okay. I'll be free soon.

Coffee, okay?

Place is on you, and the bill on me. Actually these days,

I didn't dare to call you.

You know me.

Only good at talking about theories,

but don't know how to comfort the others.

But you could think of me,

I feel very glad.

Never mind.

Everyone has some secrets.

Besides, In my heart,

you're no longer a vase beauty.

You're the best. Shen Xun, you're an actress.

Mr. Su, the next scene is yours.

Coming.

Okay. That's it. I gotta hung up.

I have a scene.

Coffee, meal.

Mr. Su. Coming.

How is that?

You said just now that

if there is anyone who answers your message,

you won't give up.

So now will you give up?

But even my friend answered my message,

the audience won't support me again.

So you actually owe the audience three words.

"I am sorry."

Come.

Xiaoxing.

Mr. Xin, please have some water.

Du Nian.

Mr. Xin.

I know now everyone has thought that is me.

But I didn't do it.

I know.

You do?

And that Qingkong Entertainment has forced you out.
