Where's Bo Mi?

When her uncle dies, the niece is duty-bound to attend the funeral.

The killer. I know who it is.

It was a murder.

Check all the security cameras and find who did it.

But will Bo Mi be okay?

She has to be.

(Episode 13)

Where is he if he's not here?

No, he didn't see me. Right.

He didn't see me.

He didn't see me.

He didn't see me.

Darn it, he saw, he saw.

Where is he?

Hey, hey! Why are you sleeping here?

You shouldn't sleep here.

You family will be waiting for you.

Mister.

Gosh, I'm so cold.

Whose is this?

This isn't where I live.

Bo Mi.

Bo Mi.

Bo Mi.

Who are you?

I'm a detective from the Regional Investigation Unit.

I need your cooperation.

What is the matter?

Yes, with your next door neighbor.

I can't tell you the details.

Regional...

Bo Mi.

Breathe.

Breathe slowly.

Slowly.

Kyung Soo is chasing the killer.

You're safe here.

It was Kang Jin Ku.

I know.

He's looking for me.

He killed my uncle to find me.

What for?

Kyung Soo.

He's in an internet cafe.

- An internet cafe? - Yes.

He doesn't have a phone or an address.

He's doing what they call "street life".

I tried it.

You go to internet cafes when you can't stay at a sauna.

Why did he show up after five years?

He killed Seo Joo Hwan and made it look like a suicide.

I don't think what happened five years ago was a robbery murder.

Kyung Soo, don't take your eyes off him.

Don't you worry.

How's Bo Mi?

She's calmed down.

Monitoring him is no big deal.

Leave it to me.

He has no qualms about killing.

Be careful.

I will.

Did you live here alone all this time?

Of course.

I'm only safe at home.

Eating things like this?

Get some sleep.

How can I? He was looking for me.

He was looking for me all this time.

That's why you must eat and sleep.

A this rate, you'll pass out before we catch him.

That thought is what kept me going.

Lie down.

I feel terrible when I think of Yu Na sometimes.

Sometimes I think I'm glad we have...

some fond memories.

The memories I have of her...

are of her in the ambulance.

Her lying in hospital.

And her tiny coffin...

going into the flames to be cremated.

Sometimes I wish I could completely...

forget everything.

But then I feel guilty for having such thoughts.

I never thought I'd cry thinking of her.

I want to forget...

but I can't.

I can't forget.

I was the only survivor.

There's something I must do.

Yes.

There's something w must do.

(The Guardian)

Hello.

What's his problem?

He's been glaring at me for a while now.

You're shameless.

You let Kim Woo Sung go free...

and you're back pretending to be a prosecutor.

Woo Sung's covered by the chief prosecutor.

Get him here first.

You hid Woo Sung somewhere?

You're another one of Chief Prosecutor Yoon's dogs.

I need your help again.

Ian Apartment in Miseo-dong in Pyeongtaek?

You saw it in person?

Pretending to be a cop?

We just opened. We'll give you some free food.

Come by one day.

Come by one day.

I'm tracking him.

Now he can't hide.

Great job.

Where is he now?

At a funeral parlor.

He showed up to mourn the man he killed.

I think he's waiting for Bo Mi.

Could it be a coincidence?

That he appeared just when we started digging?

I don't know.

- It's the cops. - The cops?

Could they be...

coming to get us?

They sent an entire troop. It's not for a petty thief.

What should we do? Should I go over?

I'll take care of things here. You should only focus on chasing him.

- What are we going to do? - First, we have to get out of here.

We still have some time left before they get here.

Pack your things. You must destroy everything that shows your identity.

Let go. Let go. Let go. Let go of me.

She's the only one who's alive after her family was murdered?

Yes. She was hiding under the bed.

I would rather hope I died with them.

Her entire family died, and she's the only one who survived.

- Really? - Yes.

Is she really the only one who lived?

- She hid under the bed. - Exactly.

- Yes. - The baby is now all grown up.

- Very big now. - She's adorable.

- I heard she studies well too. - Thank you.

Look, it's her. The one who lived by herself.

- Is she really that girl? - She hid under the bed.

- Is cake better? - Her entire family died.

He did like fruits.

But it's been a while since he had cake, so let's get that.

- Okay, then. - Choose one for me.

Is she really the only one who lived?

- She hid under the bed. - Exactly.

Look, it's her. The one who survived by herself.

- Is she really that girl? - She hid under the bed.

- Right. - Her entire family died.

What are you doing?

I...

I can't go.

Bo Mi. Kyung Soo has his eyes on the real culprit,

and I'm here with you.

We can go out together.

I can't go.

I can't forget a second of that night.

Two robbers came in, my mom and dad died,

and my sister died, but why did I have to live?

That night keeps on repeating itself.

You can call me a coward.

I can't do this. I'm too scared.

I don't want to get out of this room.

- She's crazy. - Let's report her.

Look, it's Jo Soo Ji.

That's the Jo Soo Ji from the news.

- Hello? Is this the police? - Isn't that Jo Soo Ji?

Hey, report her.

Is this the police?

I'm trying to make a report.

Did they identify the resident of that apartment?

The resident is unknown.

The owner, Seo Bo Mi went missing after that murder incident.

- The murder incident? - Yes.

Are you saying that it's an empty house?

Prosecutor Kim, Soo Ji is running away in a stolen vehicle.

A stolen vehicle?

Yes, did you find a security footage?

Okay. Turn the car around.

- Yes? - I just got a report.

Soo Ji stole a vehicle from the parking lot and ran away.

So what?

She's gone after she was seen on the parking lot's security footage,

so she must be in a nearby alley.

Okay. Let me know if you find her.

Then now I can just destroy the evidence left in her house.

She must have run away after realizing her cover is blown.

She can't be far away. Search the premise!

Soo Ji, where are you?

I'm on my way to pick you up. Get ready.

I can't go.

I'll make sure you don't run into many people.

You need to work up the courage. You can't stay in there forever.

I made some time, but the police will be here soon.

Call the police.

Let go. Let go.

It's been a while, Detective Jo.

It was weird how you stole a car...

and how you let yourself get caught on the speed camera.

You averted the police on purpose.

You must have someone you need to protect in that house.

I don't have anything like that.

We already checked with the apartment's guard.

He said someone does live there, but he's never seen anyone come out.

I thought you would come back for that person.

If I asked you to let me go, you still wouldn't, would you?

You're always the same.

You need to stop going around catching criminals with a gun.

If I give up, who will take in Yoon Seung Ro?

I joined the Joint Investigation Team.

I was going to arrest you to investigate Yu Na's case again.

It's no use while Yoon Seung Ro is in power. You'll face a wall again.

This time, it'll be different.

I won't lose in vain like the last time.

I also wish your ways could work.

But people are finally getting interested in Yu Na's case.

I can't make a bet on your side just because of you.

If I fail again, Yoon Seung Ro...

will become the attorney general.

Then Yu Na's case will be closed once again.

If you keep doing this your way, you may be able to catch him,

but you may end up spending the rest of your life in jail.

I'm prepared.

I can't let you do that.

Will you let me handle this now?

I'll do everything it takes to do what I couldn't do a year ago.

I'm sorry, Prosecutor Kim.

Let go.

Stop.

Let me go! Let me go!

- Calm down. - Gosh.

He used to show off how rich he had become.

Why did he commit suicide?

I don't know.

Excuse me.

Do you know a girl called Seo Bo Mi?

Who?

I heard she's his niece.

Did he have a niece?

Do you know about her?

I do, but it's been a while since I had heard about her.

Why do you ask?

So you don't know about her?

Never mind. Eat up.

- What? - What is wrong with him?

What happened? Did she get away?

She was caught.

What?

She came to get me.

She wanted me to escape with her. But she was caught.

Only her?

It's because of me.

I told her I couldn't go out. I was scared.

I'll get you. Stay there.

No. There are people guarding this place.

You'll get caught too.

Then what do you want me to do?

We caught you at last.

You should have been caught by me.

I made a mistake.

I should have dealt with you first before getting caught.

Gosh, you're still acting tough.

But you're finished.

It's not over yet.

I...

hope so too.

Did you search the house?

No, she has locked the door from inside.

We'll try to persuade her. If that doesn't work,

we'll force our way in.

She's inside?

How about the others?

They'll join us soon.

You should go to the police station first.

I'll follow you after searching the place.

Yes, sir.

You're making a mistake.

This time, it won't be like the Yu Na case.

I'll make sure of it.

If you are so worried, you should follow them.

I'll take care of this.

Check the rest of the people upstairs.

We'll wait a little longer and go inside if she doesn't come out.

- Yes, sir. - Yes, sir.

She's gone.

I ruined everything.

I don't know. I'll save Soo Ji first and then head your way.

Stay focused and concentrate on where they're taking Soo Ji.

I'll do whatever it takes to save her.

What should I do?

I lost him.

He left the lighter and ran away.

I promised Soo Ji that I'll keep track of him.

What should I do?

I can only do one thing at a time.

If so many things happen at once, what am I supposed to do?

If you sin, you'll get punished.

All my life, I believed that.

Yu Na died,

but they said no one killed her.

The law did this.

What good is the law?

It only gets controlled...

by guys like Yoon Seung Ro.

See?

I knew you'd be worried.

You're making me sad.

Just go.

I'll take care of this place with Ms. Lee.

When you want to do something,

you always have a reason behind it.

What is it now?

Forget it then.

How can you not acknowledge my sincerity?

Of course, you're worried about her being in cuffs.

How will you bear the sight of her in an interrogation room?

I'll interrogate her instead.

It'll be hard as we're not on good terms.

But that's her fate.

I'm going.

I'll leave you with some detectives.

You can take care of the search.

So you're going? I don't need detectives.

There were reports that Soo Ji has come back here.

You were on the phone, so I had to call Detective Nam.

Didn't he tell you?

Detective Nam? No, he didn't. What is it? What happened?

What do you think? We caught Jo Soo Ji.

She's caught?

Where? When? How?

You are doing an excellent job at taking care of your people.

Who has seen Detective Nam recently? Who is it?

Have you seen Detective Nam?

I should be the one to ask you that question, jerk!

Why are you screaming at me?

I'm upset too.

- What? - When I went back after searching,

he had already been gone by car. He doesn't even pick up the phone.

Let's say we can deal with the law. How about the public opinion?

They'll take advantage of her if she gets caught.

You're another one of Chief Prosecutor Yoon's dogs.

I need your help again.

He's acting up again.

Detective Nam,

I think you're on the wrong road.

I'm not someone you can catch.

Someone powerful in the prosecution is looking after me.

We found the hacker as Jang Do Han had planned.

We're locating Jo Soo Ji right now.

(Episode 14 will be broadcast soon.)
