The police are heading towards Lee Jang Soo's house.

They must know what we're doing.

The culprit, Jung Eui Sung, who was intoxicated, dragged Lee Eun Woo...

into an alley and assaulted the victim...

until she died...

(We have found the hacker. We are currently locating Jo Soo Ji.)

The first issue is that the culprit...

might not have directly murdered...

Why are you sending a message so secretly?

Are you dating someone?

What? No.

It was for my mom.

Your mom?

Why do you send texts so secretly to your mom?

- Let me see. - What's wrong with you?

- Let me see. - Why?

- Let me see. - Hey! We're not going on a picnic.

Think about what you're doing.

Please.

Wait.

X

- Go that way. - All right.

Just get into a car and get outside to the road.

The alleys are all dead-ends.

All right.

Constable Lee, we already searched this place.

Constable.

Hey, what are you doing?

Stop moving. I found the culprit. I have the culprit. I need support.

Who is that?

We have Jo Soo Ji's location.

What?

We might as well arrest her on our first mission.

Thank you for the gift, prosecutor. You were good too, Prosecutor Kim.

You two work well together.

It was all thanks to your ability to lead us.

We haven't arrested her yet,

and it's more important that we locate her safely.

You're always so serious.

We won't miss her this time.

Delivery's here.

Stay still. You're being arrested in an act of crime.

- Oh, my. - Stay still.

Nice!

I managed to lose them and erase all the log records.

- You have the right to stay silent. - What are you doing?

- What are you doing? - It's been a while.

They will never find us here. How about you, Soo Ji?

I'm getting out.

So are you saying you made up a conspiracy theory about...

Jo Soo Ji and Chief Prosecutor Yoon...

just because you wanted some attention?

No, I didn't make it up. I have my sources.

Sources?

Is that Jo Soo Ji?

I wish it was.

There is someone who's been giving me great items for a while.

And I guess I was unlucky this time.

That means you don't have any direct relationship with Soo Ji.

I do not,

but isn't she beautiful?

I'm a huge fan of her.

She's a guardian for the weak, who stands for justice.

Respect.

You are insane.

He's just crazy.

I think we have the wrong guy.

I don't think it was one person using many different IP addresses.

Many were actually accessing the database. I'm sorry.

What about the squad who went for Soo Ji? Anything yet?

They also lost her, and she escaped.

My goodness.

Did you lose her? What on earth were you doing...

How on earth can you not catch her?

We prepared everything for you, yet you still can't manage.

- Right, Prosecutor Kim? - Maybe your theory was wrong.

Part of the investigation is to rule out wrong suspects, right?

That report you looked down upon is also a part of the investigation.

Oh, come on.

Thanks to my wrong guess,

Chief Prosecutor Yoon's rumors were proven as false.

How many times have we lost Soo Ji so far?

Do you think this can happen even in this joint investigation?

I don't care if you conduct a nationwide inspection.

Find a way to get her. Right now!

Yes, sir.

The police arrested Oh and others who hacked the prosecution server.

The police said their method of hacking was similar to the way...

the rumors against Chief Prosecutor Yoon's son's case was spread.

The police said they have been tracing them ever since.

However, this group was found to have nothing to do with Jo Soo Ji.

The conspiracy theory, which grew by the day as the inspection for...

Chief Prosecutor Yoon's promotion got nearer, has lost its power.

I am Kim Gyeong Mi, reporting with MBS.

Prosecutor Jang from Joint Investigation HQ is here.

I told you that you only get one chance.

You didn't say the deadline was today.

The problem won't go away just by arresting Soo Ji.

If we do not cut off the rumors about you and her,

the public interest will only make the situation worse.

You have a mind for petty tricks, a way of sweet-talking people,

and you are bold.

Thank you for the compliment.

But you are bad at lying.

If you don't feel confident, people won't be fooled.

Stop making excuses from now on.

I will keep that in my mind.

You said...

we met once before, right?

Yes.

However,

no matter how much I think about it,

I don't think I've seen you.

I'm sure. I am sure that incident was...

meaningless to you.

You've held many lectures at the training institute.

But to me, your lecture was an unforgettable one.

You may go.

I'm sorry. We almost got caught because of me,

and I almost got Soo Ji arrested.

This has never happened before.

What happened?

You see.

This had to be a trap.

A trap?

Stop making an excuse.

I'm not making an excuse. That website was planted with a honeypot.

I think they knew I was coming.

How would the police know that?

Well... I have no idea. I'm not a police officer.

I knew it.

I knew it was weird how the police mentioned my accomplice.

And they planted a tracing program to wait for him to hack into.

The Joint Investigation Unit must know more about us than we think.

How do you think they found out?

Leader is the only one who knows us and knew we were after Jang Soo.

Maybe he's a prosecutor like Soo Ji guessed.

At first, he wanted his revenge like us, but when things turned,

he could have sold us out.

But he's the one who told us to watch out. That makes no sense.

You're right.

If he didn't tell us,

I wouldn't have been able to run from the Cyber Crime Unit...

like the idiots that were caught.

We know at least one thing for sure.

He's someone who can get his hands on the investigation process.

That means he can be a prosecutor.

Gosh, whatever. Anyway, why do you think he made us go after Jang Soo?

I looked into it like you asked, but it had no ties with Yoon Seung Ro.

What did you say? What did you two look for without telling me?

What? Did I say something? You must've heard me wrong.

I just wanted to know if this case had anything to do with him.

But I don't think that's enough anymore.

I have to check and see who this leader is.

Gosh, you are so reckless.

You promised not to be curious and not to ask anything about him.

What if he's just using us?

Hey, we don't know that for sure.

That's why we must check.

Did you forget his warning?

What if he abandons us?

I need the information which he has.

Without the information...

If I don't catch the culprit,

I can't get out of this room forever.

I can't just trust him and wait like you can.

Who knows when I'll get caught?

Yoon Seung Ro gets out of everything, and Yoon Si Wan is...

living well as if nothing had happened.

What on earth am I doing right now?

Ladies, please calm down.

This is all because of me. Leader and the police are a coincidence.

We know nothing about him anyway. We can't find him.

He sent you a text message.

I can't give that to you.

Then let's just ask him. He is a bit suspicious,

but I doubt he's a bad person. I'm sure it's a misunderstanding.

I thought you had no way to reach him.

Did I just say something?

Great job, man. Just don't say anything, okay?

If you say no to everything,

I'll find it out my way.

Don't you dare.

Hello? Hello?

What? Hey.

Hey!

Darn it.

Gosh, it looks like bringing them back together will be...

harder than the unification of Korea.

Why does this happen to me?

That idiot.

32A4514.

Where did you go?

(Available)

(Seo Bo Mi)

I'm a bit busy right now.

The recipient cannot come to...

Darn it.

(Seo Bo Mi)

Sorry.

I have no time to argue.

- The recipient cannot... - I don't care now.

I don't care.

Hi. I just got into a taxi.

Don't worry.

Go to sleep.

I said, don't worry.

I'm fine.

Bye.

Where to?

Geumhwa-dong junction, please.

Okay.

Father, I'm here to make a confession.

Is she a stalker or what?

- What? - It's bad.

What's bad? Is Soo Ji in trouble?

I think Lee Jang Soo's about to do it again.

What?

I didn't notice you, Father.

Confess your sins.

Well... I...

If you are not ready, come back another time.

No.

It's a bit awkward, that's all.

What do the others say?

A young boy left just now.

What do people like him tell you?

A priest has a duty to keep one's secret.

Right.

You do.

If you are not here to confess,

please leave.

Okay. I'm not yet ready.

I'll come another time.

Do you...

pray for others...

if someone were to ask you to?

I committed a huge sin...

and can't pray for myself.

Tell me.

Okay...

Well...

I had a daughter.

I hope she's happy and free of pain where she is.

Please tell her that...

although her mom committed a crime,

she did nothing she should be ashamed of.

Tell her that I hope she's still proud of me.

Also,

please tell her to appear in my dreams sometimes...

so that I could see her face.

That's all.

I will...

pray for your daughter.

Thank you, Father.

Leader, what should I do?

The girls are at each other's throats.

It's because you ordered us around without letting us ask questions.

Can't you tell us what your plan is?

I'm not asking because I don't trust you or anything,

so don't get upset, okay? Promise.

They suspect you now.

You shouldn't come here anymore.

It'll be over soon.

(Gong Kyung Soo)

You aren't surprised to see me.

You didn't report me either.

You must need a place to stay.

I'll give you some time.

Father.

You walked past me like this once before.

Do you remember?

- I'm sorry. - Did you call?

You prevented us from getting caught.

How does someone in a church...

know what is going on in the Joint Investigation HQ?

I wonder.

Who is it?

Who are you protecting?

I have no idea what you are talking about.

You know.

Your eyes.

They're telling me that you know.

You're mistaken.

If that is all, do excuse me.

Father.

(Gong Kyung Soo)

- Kyung Soo. - Where are you?

- I have bad news. - What is it?

Jang Soo is taking a girl somewhere.

What girl?

Is he driving a taxi?

Yes. We need to stop him.

Sorry, I have to take care of something else.

Soo Ji, the taxi's license was canceled.

What do you think that means?

Leader told us to quit.

Are you in?

- Yes. - Where'd he go?

Did you two reconcile just like that?

- What? - What?

Never mind.

The GPS you put on the taxi says he's at Geumhwa-dong junction.

He picked up a girl in Daesun-dong 10 minutes ago.

He's leaving Seoul. Hurry.

(The Guardian)

- Check the call logs. - What?

The true leader's someone else.

I think that woman knows about us.

Not bad.

I'll come back once I keep the promise I made Yu Na.

Is she a criminal or a heroine?

Was the death of the girl seven years ago investigated fairly?

She's using this politically. Someone's life is at stake.

I'll begin surveillance.

No. He couldn't have seen me. He could've have. No way.

Darn it, he saw, he saw.
