(Episode 6)

Are you sure he's here?

What? Yes, you are at the right place.

Wait a moment.

Last year, on an online shopping mall...

called Dae Bak, personal details were hacked.

Really? I visited that site often.

It wasn't only you. Almost half of the Koreans did.

Was that you?

What? No, I'm not a bad person.

I just took away the information...

that they had already hacked.

Stealing from a thief is no better.

But that's how I know where Kim Woo Sung is.

Okay! He didn't cancel his ticket.

He should be there.

Nice shot!

Even after what he did, he looks like he's doing fine.

And he used to be married one year ago.

Now, he has a girlfriend.

He's so talented.

Are you jealous?

How can you say that after seeing people cry at inquiry agencies?

Guys, calm down.

Sometimes I say things...

without thinking.

That's an illness. Illness for idiots.

He's moving.

- Goodbye. - Goodbye.

All right.

Bye.

Where does he live?

Unit 103, Room 1002. Why?

Do you know the burglar that went in and out of houses...

without the owners ever knowing?

This time,

I'll have to borrow his tactics.

Who wants to...

send Kim Woo Sung out of his house so that I can look around?

I do! I'll call him and say that...

he needs to move his car because the parking lot needs to be cleaned.

Will that be enough?

No need.

Just give me his number.

It's not something for a pure kid like you.

I knew it. I'm too nice to lie about...

Not your heart. Your brain is pure and white as snow.

I don't need any of you.

- Why not? - Why not?

The door is open.

He left already.

There's a family picture on the wall,

but it looks like his wife and his daughter left a long time ago.

His family might be overseas.

Woo Sung may have killed both of them.

Come on, you're scaring me.

I'm not sure about that, but I am sure they weren't a happy couple.

A foreign car, golf sessions, and this apartment.

He uses a lot of money,

but he's broke.

Where is he right now?

I lost him. Kyung Soo only hacked the cameras around the big streets.

I lost him around Yeongpyeong-dong area.

Don't worry. I think I know where he's going.

I think he's going to his shop.

At this hour?

He must have a reason why.

(Woo Sung Screen Golf Club)

Search for this place.

He's meeting someone.

- We're not here to arrest you! - Don't lie!

We're not here to arrest you. Okay?

Do you know Kim Woo Sung?

He told you about a murder he committed in 2004, right?

Just tell me that.

Kyung Soo, I need your help.

Okay. Whatever you want.

Is there a way to tune into their secretive conversation?

That's easy.

Soo Ji, do you know the one thing people won't stay away from?

How can you quiz her right now?

You have one with you right now. It's your cell phone.

Are you going to hack into his phone?

Yes. I don't even need to move. I just have to type in a few things.

Is this it?

We should play golf sometime.

I don't know how to play.

Why didn't you learn?

I'll teach you, okay?

("Come over tonight." What happened after that? Click to find out.)

(This message will be deleted.)

He won't take the bait.

Goodness, 90 percent of men fall for this.

I knew something was wrong when you were too confident.

Don't you have any other way?

In this case, you'll have to go in.

No. He knows my face.

- Then do I have to do it? - You?

It already feels ominous. Don't do it. Don't do anything.

- You can't even come outside. - Darn you.

I'll show you what I've got today.

You'll watch and see that my brain isn't a clean slate.

How will you get to his phone?

I learned something in the pen.

Pickpocketing 101. You must turn their gaze away first.

Have you been in prison before?

Just a bit. I took a short tour.

Anyway, this is what's important. I'll go one step further...

and completely cut off his gaze.

Oh, sure. I have no idea what you're saying, but hurry.

Don't worry and look forward to what I'll show you, ladies.

It's been a year.

You said you had a job for me.

Tell me about it.

We met after such a long time. Don't be such a bore.

I was going to take you out for a nice dinner,

but I thought it'd be better to be here for our conversation.

Why? It's great.

Didn't you call me here to show me how you have a great life?

I heard you gave up drugs and that you're living diligently.

- Thanks to you. - Hey.

I had no idea you would get arrested in my place.

Anyway, you told on me too.

Anyways, it all began because of me.

I am really sorry.

I heard your father collapsed,

and you went through a tough time.

So what do you want?

I'll help you now. You need to build up a life for yourself.

How will you help me?

- What is this? - Is the power out?

(Cell phone remote control is on.)

Hello? Is this the management office?

Yes, I'm from the management office.

My gosh.

- Move the flashlight. - Pardon?

Oh, my. I'm so sorry. Are you all right?

Goodness, this is bad.

I'm fine. Stop it.

- You should see a doctor. - No, I'm fine.

- But still. - Hey, what's going on?

Oh, hey. It's nothing. Don't worry about it.

- Hey, wrap it up and come back in. - Okay.

What's going on? What's with this place?

It keeps going on and off. It's the transformer outside.

- Are your eyes all right? - I'm fine.

Then I'll fix that and leave.

Oh, about the flashlight.

I'm so sorry about that.

You'll get your electricity back shortly. Goodbye.

Mission success.

You're useful.

Did you see that?

It's just a coincidence.

We can now see everything that he does.

Hey, I have to go to work. You said you need something delivered.

It's not a thing.

- It's a person. - Hey.

I don't do that anymore.

Hey, friend.

This is the last one. Just one more time.

I already have a plan.

All you have to do is bring the person there.

Once I get the insurance money, I'll give you a hefty sum.

Who is it?

Let's go and talk somewhere...

without any security cameras or phones.

- Is that everything? - Yes.

Gosh, why didn't they say the most important part?

I knew you went too far with that phone.

Anyway, what does it mean to deliver a person?

They want to abduct someone.

Abduct?

He was freed even when he turned himself in.

He's getting bolder and bolder.

We must find out whom he's after before they make a move.

They're doing this tomorrow. How will you find out before then?

This person's insurance beneficiary is Woo Sung.

They must be close.

A family member or a friend who has no family or a spouse.

There is someone who lives alone without his wife and daughter.

Nice shot.

His girlfriend.

He approached her on purpose for the insurance money.

We'll see.

Hey, it might be his sister.

Goodness, he's like a stalker.

I'm sure siblings aren't going to stalk each other.

This sister of his just wouldn't pick up his call.

I think they could've fought.

With your talent,

can you find out more than what I can imagine about his sister?

Now, you finally know the kind of guy I am.

Sure.

Okay.

Kim Woo Jin, a year older than Woo Sung.

They live close to each other.

They don't look too distant.

Gosh, she really loves her niece a lot.

I don't see a family photo.

She must be single.

They were close until a year ago.

Hang on.

This was taken a few days before Woo Sung turned himself in.

She covered for her brother until then.

What happened after that to cause them to drift apart?

No, it couldn't be.

Would he try to kill his own sister?

Why not?

Human beings can be cruel. Because we're human.

You're being savage again.

We must stay open-minded.

Kyung Soo, go through Woo Sung's phone...

and shortlist likely victims.

What? Go through all this?

Checking all his texts and emails...

will take me at least the whole night.

Don't you think you have the wrong idea?

You're no longer a cop.

Our job is to make the real police arrest Kim Woo Sung.

I know that.

But if we make a mistake, someone could die.

Let's just call the police.

Then we can prevent a crime and catch Woo Sung.

How?

What evidence will the police get by raiding him now?

We hacked his phone.

Let's give them the recording.

Hacking in itself is a crime.

Even if they use it to get him, it won't be accepted in court.

We stay out of sight.

Do you want us to get caught before we get our revenge?

Kim Woo Sung.

We'll get him.

But I won't sacrifice anyone in the process.

What are you trying to do?

The police need at least five minutes to reach the scene.

If we call too soon, they won't see the scene of the crime.

If we call too late,

someone could die.

We need to find out whom Woo Sung is after.

To get the timing right.

How do you expect us to find that?

Okay, ladies. I get it, so stop arguing.

I'll stay up all night to figure that out.

Cheer up.

Thanks.

They just left.

Woo Sung's girlfriend is still at home.

Woo Jin...

just got on a bus.

Woo Sung hired a private detective about three months ago.

- A private detective? - Yes.

If only he'd come to our office...

Do you know what it's about?

It doesn't say.

They talked a few days ago,

and he wired them a fee.

When was the last call?

Two days ago.

Two days ago?

He hired Choi Myung Hoon for the abduction the next day.

Find out what he hired them for.

I think I know the target.

Who is it?

Woo Jin...

is headed right towards them.

Call the police now.

I just got kidnapped at the junction by Haesoo Elementary School. Help!

The cops?

Not yet.

We're wrong.

It's not her.

I found it.

Woo Sung hired the private detective to find...

his wife and daughter.

Woo Sung's daughter.

His own daughter?

Go.

Se Bom.

Mom...

Who's that?

What just happened?

That brat.

Gosh.

Hey, hey, drive off!

Step on it!

That psycho.

Stop the car!

Soo Ji.

Can't you shake her off?

- Hold on tight. - Soo Ji.

Get her off the car!

Darn it!

Push her off!

Are you okay?

Hey, what just happened?

Nothing.

How do you think? Do you like it?

It's just perfect.

It looks so elegant, dignified,

and expensive.

- Could you take a photo? - Of course.

All right. Are you ready?

No, no.

When someone looks at the photo,

they need to think, "Gosh, he's handsome,"

and then notice the expensive suit and think my family's rich.

That's the angle I want.

Yes, of course.

- Make sure I stand out. - Right, right.

All right. Are you ready?

- Have a look. - Okay.

Good.

(My graceful chief)

What timing.

Hello?

I have a fever, and I just...

What? The police station?

Is it about Kim Woo Sung?

Who showed up?

We got a call about an abduction in Sangpyung-dong around 2pm.

We noticed a familiar face.

Do you recognize Detective Jo?

Do you still think she's a detective?

That's why she's still out there a year later.

She isn't a detective. She's a fugitive.

We know that as well.

And you're all standing there? Go out there and get her!

Why are you still here?

Prosecutor Jang.

We'll do our job.

You'd better do yours this time.

You.

What on earth are you up to?

(The Guardian)

Detective Jo showed up?

Why did she suddenly show up?

Get her without a fuss.

What on earth are you up to?

- Get away. - You lost a loved one too.

I can't leave now.

Don't act like you're a hero!

You can't or won't catch the bad guys!
