hey lassie houdini what are you doing

here i'm curious what's all the fuzz

about they're fitting a transmitter to

a transmitter wow

what's that

it's a way to follow and record the

eagles movements from a long distance

wait you'll see

this is fascinating

what is it

oh boy

oh

thank you

are you okay i am now

thanks to this amazing dog he saved us

that amazing dog is lassie and yeah she

does that hi i'm harvey this is zoe my

name's carmen and this is fury he got

spooked by a snake back there and bolted

i think he's okay now

we have to go now thanks for everything

oh no

he's limping a little but it doesn't

why don't you come back home with us to

but we have a long ride ahead all the

more reason to make sure that hoof is

okay come on my mom's a vet this is

totally your lucky day um

maybe just for a quick rest thanks zoe

that's real nice of you

there we go that should do it thank

goodness nothing sprained or broken but

he needs to rest and stay off that foot

to avoid infection you're welcome to

stay here with us until it heals really

that's so generous

that's my dad your dad

he's a park ranger the very best but

he's out of town for a couple of days on

some training seminar come on i'll get a

thanks but if it's okay i'd rather just

stay out on the stable with fury you're

so cool but we don't have a stable just

a bar carmen do you have anyone you need

any family a father mother uh yes of

may i use your phone

no mom don't worry i'm fine fury just

needs to rest for a day or two at the

ten yes yes i'll call you as soon as i

that's right my friends with these

high-tech state-of-the-art transmitter

thingamabobs we can follow the movements

and research the habits of all kinds of

different animals but what for what four

for scientific study of course what else

scientists and with that attitude we'll

now let's get busy

congratulations guys thanks to the

wonders of science we'll always know

exactly where we are at all times

but didn't we kind of already knew that

before yes but now we're covered with

blinky red lights that my friends is

progress

so what no yeah

no way the quest for scientific

knowledge must continue we must expand

the boundaries of our study to include

other subjects not just guys what are

you doing that equipment is for serious

scientific research oh we're serious and

animals why can't we do the same thing

you know i can't believe i'm saying this

but you might actually have a point

there's a first time for everything it

was bound to happen sooner or later

just stay out of trouble and make sure

you return this stuff to the clinic okay

don't just stand there guys start

tagging our subjects come on great

horses carmen you have a gift thanks i

want to get a job as a trainer at one of

those big ranches down south is that

where you're heading

with few you said you still had a long

oh right uh yes we're on our way to the

ranch district down south but you were

heading north through the pass i was

well i i mean i might have give it a

rest she must have just gotten turned

around and fury bulleted right carmen

you see simple explanation you'll have

to forgive harvey here he thinks way too

i wish i had a best friend like him

really hey take him if you want he's

are you sure you'll be okay alone with

her i'm not alone lassie's here and why

wouldn't i be okay carmen is awesome i

like her too zoe but you have to admit

something about her doesn't add up she's

a person harvey not a math problem does

everything always have to add up yes

if carmen was bad don't you think lassie

would sense it and lassie loves her

i didn't say she was bad but she's

definitely hiding something so let her

hide it who cares do you have to know

absolutely everything well i would

prefer it that way yes

good night harvey

really

and that's how i met classy wow that's a

lovely story

what no keep sleeping keep sleeping

don't worry

with this you'll be safe

so there's no one here how can i put the

tracker on

she's still sleeping i think she was up

most of the night keeping an eye on fury

come on let's go shopping while she's

still asleep

look mom horse candy can we get some

treats for fury yes sheriff's on the

case he's coming i don't expect that

she'll get very far it's not easy to

hide a stolen horse especially not a

vine specimen like that did you hear

that they were talking about a stolen

horse a fine one so what does it have to

wait you're not thinking about carmen

are you let's go kids oh harvey don't

start what is she trying to hide we

could just ask her about it see how she

reacts ask her if she's a horse thief

sure that would be really tactful

carmen are you awake

she's gone

she's gone and she's taken fury with her

calm down lassie it's just the sheriff i

wonder what he wants morning mrs parker

sorry to disturb you but you wouldn't

have seen a young girl with a horse

around here lately these gentlemen are

ranchers and this deed proves that they

are the rightful owners of fury

it seems that the girl in question

this carmen was working for them at

their stable when she rode off with

their horse two days ago carmen wouldn't

do something like that she didn't seem

like a horse thief sheriff isn't it

misunderstanding misunderstanding that

girl stole the most valuable horse on

understand is how you could let her

spend the night here some strange girl

rides through on a horse like that and

you invite her to stay what do you call

that i call that basic hospitality

compassion and politeness all right

miss parker did this young lady give you

any idea where she might have been

no and i didn't ask but if it can help

lassie could probably pick up her scent

maybe point you in the right direction

yes that would be nice go ahead zoe take

lassie outside and see if she can pick

up fury scent

classy isn't quite herself today we

tried come on we'll inspect the entire

area believe me she and that horse won't

get far good work glassy now you can

show us which way they really went i

hate to ruin the moment here zoey but

what are we gonna do when we find her

you saw that deed fury belongs to those

two ranchers not to carmen there you go

again i know you're right but let's find

carmen and fury first and hear her side

guilty zoe we know for a fact that fury

doesn't rightfully belong to her if you

can't have just a little faith in her

then stay here

let's go go on lassie lead the way

what can i say i'm speechless with

emotion like the first man when he set

foot on the moon i'm giddy with the vast

perspective of the other where's yours

that's mine here's bill this is pika and

what about yours

what's this come on let's find it who's

carrying the screen

eeny meeny miny moe catch your tail by

its toe

oh

it's true we're here to help

everything they're saying about me is

true furious trapped by the ranchers and

working for them a few months ago and i

couldn't stand the way they beat and

i finally decided the only way to get

him out of there was to take him myself

why not just report the abusive ranchers

pictures but they stole them when they

found out so i didn't have any hard

evidence it would have just been their

word against mine and technically fury

so what are you gonna do you can't run

forever this is the spot where the

rancher's trapped fury i want to take

him back there back to his home

once i know he's safe i'll turn myself

into the police are you sure that's

where the ranchers caught fury positive

i took this map from them they were

weeks okay but if we're going to make it

there we'll need to stay clear of all

the roadblocks what do you mean we we as

in us who we're coming with you i can't

ask you to do that we're friends you

wouldn't stand a chance without laughing

where's that

i hope the sheriff will be more lucky

than we are

our county sheriff has been working on a

strange case over the past two days he's

looking for a young girl who seems to

have stolen a prized mustang and is now

on the run with unexpected help from

another young girl and her dog a collar

who has managed to outsmart

yes graham that's the truth and yes i

know it's serious there's a deed of

zoe's not usually wrong when it comes to

yes yes i'll go check it out right now

this is it

we're here for real

without you

without lassie we would never have made

it you're really going to miss fury i

but i want what's best for him

go

go my love

what's this a drone

now

oh

you kids keep out of this this mustang

is ours and she knows hurry brother

oh

this is getting more complicated than i

this is really hard guys houdini what

are you doing here i promised lassie we

planned on giving all this scientific

equipment back to sarah right after we

tracked everybody it'll attract

everybody what about the horse what

yeah but just a little tiny one

what are we going to do don't worry

lassie's on the case hey this is mom's

tracking system and that must be oh look

carmen i think my mom put a tracker on

fury a tracker but how can this be look

their van has to stick to this mountain

road but if we cut straight down the

slope of the hill we could beat them

down there and stop them before they get

how great scientists have been through

this you do all the research and someone

never mind science first let's go

where are they did we miss them i don't

think so the tracker is still

here they come

we have to put everything we can on the

road to stop them let's try this right

easy on the equipment

let's try to find something else hurry

oh yeah

what was that noise

incredible it's the doll what

hang on

well done brother she's not here anymore

graham i have a visual they're on exit

207 of the highway good work we're on

the dog was able to track the horse

arrest them they stole my mustang again

slow down i had a look at your deed of

ownership but i'm not entirely clear on

the exact location where you trapped

fury in the first place well there's no

way to know the exact location sure

there is it's right here on their map

the zone you're in happens to be a

federal reserve which i'm in charge of

mustang in a national park this horse is

on the plane and you too you're going

right where you belong yes

mom it's all thanks to you if you hadn't

thought of putting a tracker on fury me

i didn't put a tracker on fury all my

trackers have disappeared

now might be a good time to head home

guys
