the dream of this part of reality grand

mountains benefactor and founder the

legendary Elma dellacroix no Founders

Day would be complete without one of our

most popular and proudest traditions the

winning team will get their names carved

into the bottom of the Ella Delacroix's

statue for registration for this year's

I love Founders Day to enter the

Founders Day scavenger hunt forever but

I was always too young I know but not

we're finally old enough to officially

participate as contestants plus we have

a secret weapon something no other team

has an unhealthy sense of overconfidence

haha you know what I mean of course I do

we've got Lassie it's all the commotion

birthday but for the park Oh birthday is

there cake no but the winners of the

scavenger hunts do get a pie better than

what's a scavenger hunt Lassie it's like

you race around following a series of

clues and gathering objects as you go

whoever finishes first wins

I suggest that you don't it's a contest

for people contest might be for people

but pie is for everyone just stay out of

trouble okay guys that's how it always

starts the greatest scavenger hunting

ever the rock jockeys didn't they win

the Founders Day scavenger hunt five

yep and they set the record for the best

time ever a record that stands to this

day isn't that right Sarah yeah I think

you're right looks like you guys are

ready for your very first scavenger hunt

ready willing and able mrs. Parker well

if you're looking for an extra teammate

it might be fun to do it together thanks

mom look at this stuff it's really not

your kind of thing oh it's not because I

thought I might be able to help I don't

think so mom I mean look at you you're

way to me well just wait to over the

head oh no Zoe didn't mean it like that

mrs. Parker she's just saying that

you're too let's see how do I put this

exactly you know you're just - you're

just - mom

she's right you know

you are very very mom well it's hard is

big Connolly he's on your team yep

outdoorsman yeah a legend in his own

mind I know every square inch of that

park like the back of my hey Nick the

park is that way might sprain something

north is there who let's just have fun

today guys and may the best team win

what was that about I don't even want to

know

okay those of you who've been to the

visitor center know that Ella the Makua

began her life in the valley driving the

stagecoach and since you're going to be

thought we'd give you each a stagecoach

the first object you're looking for is a

ticket for the Grand Mountain stage and

here's a clue it's waiting for you at

the station on your marks get set coach

station but there was it just hasn't

been used in a hundred years but it's

that old building down by the footbridge

tell me you know a shortcut

welcome to grand mountains original

stagecoach stop here's your ticket and

Adela cause dog that's for you to figure

out hold on ella debe quite a Pomeranian

it was named wolf the OL Z as in wolf

because there's only one place around

Oh what do you mean vanishing what kind

of things

you're really good at this

we're supposed to be following clothes

you know not just grabbing anything we

that would be way too hard we're going

for quantity here not cool whoever gets

the most of us when the pie exactly we

need more stuff people let's move

unbelievable

congratulations and welcome to Wolf

Creek here's your dog and the next clue

are we the first ones here close you

guys are sad what I couldn't possibly

have known the name of hella Delacroix's

dog I know Nick barely knows his own

name crystal cavern come on

the granny company

what are you guys doing we're scavenger

hunt your stuff guys this isn't how the

game works I know but they made me do it

and isn't that Zoey's bag of climbing

though maybe which answer is most likely

gonna win us pop none of the above I'll

probably just put everything back where

you found it I told you so her final

what difference does it make samantha

has been one step ahead of us all day

how is she doing it maybe she had

whatever it is I'm sure Samantha and

Nick will already be there what Zoe

listen

you know I ran into one of my survival

books that you should never run away

from a bear what are we supposed to do

no but it might help if you stop

obsessing about Samantha and focus on

what we're doing you're right and now

let's hear that last clip

the last object isn't an object at all

great-granddaughter what do you know her

yep and so do you hey guys what brings

you back here the last clue it's you

wait mrs. Li is Ella Delacroix's

great-granddaughter right so you're

what's your names great-granddaughter

so do I win yet you still need the bonus

clue that takes you to the finish line

fine let's hear it already the finish

line is located at a very special place

Ella Turlock was favorite spot in the

park the first one there wins come on

let's move what are you waiting for

Samantha Ella Delacroix's favorite spot

in the park you must know that one

sure we do maybe I'm just giving you a

head start you know in the spirit of

good sportsmanship

our Delacroix's favorite spot in the

park she wrote about going to that one

special spot in her journal right yeah

but she never specified her location she

said she would go there on sunny days to

watch the rainbows one of the peaks

maybe someplace with a view I don't

remember she said she went there on

sunny days but sunny days and rainbows

exactly so maybe she means some other

kind of rainbow someplace with the same

colors or shape we've got to beat them

well you heard her don't just sit there

take the super secret already just

Motors drowned nice going Nick

but how did Samantha slip that into my

bag remember those good luck hugs she

no of course how could I be so dumb that

trick of yours might buy us a little

time but we still have to get to the top

so did the rock jockeys the year they

set the record they said their team

captain their best climber straight up

this rock so we know it's too dangerous

at least let me try to talk you out of

this first there's a head hole just up

sorry Lassie but you know what she's

like when she gets an idea in her head

that's great just keep working your way

no it's taking too long this is right

don't do it so II it's too far

pull down Zoe I'll be right back

no that's fine better just go on without

me

oh don't be so hard on yourself

considering you're only 12 you made it

the trick is to follow not to jump

you've done this before it was a long

time ago I wish you you were the captain

of the rock jockeys you're the one in

the picture I didn't even recognize you

that's okay lassie did time why didn't

you tell me you were on the greatest

scavenger hunt team ever you're a legend

I'm just your mom Zoe and I take that

over legend any day yeah so would I mom

record time - but I'm afraid your whole

team must be here at the finish line to

win the race what get all the way up to

you but but we've been running all day

I'm not sure I can

congratulations to the winners of this

Sooey and last but not least can we get

a live back to town my truck it kind of

got stuffed down on that pitch I never

even recognized you I hardly recognize

myself it was all so long ago you know

what I see when I look at that girl now

mostly I see you Zoe really I remind you

I mean of you maybe a little too much
