beaver creek she says there's an amazing

up beaver creek i didn't know

it's up on an old fire road it's a bit

can harvey and i hike up there mom yeah

sure just be careful

lassie

hey biff you going in in

of course i'm going in i'm going in

right now i was just going in

and where exactly

in the water

i didn't know you knew how to swim

are you kidding i'm an amazing swimmer

that's what pug means dog that swims

like a fish

come on

i gotta go when we get back maybe we can

go for a swim really

oh

we're gonna swim together

i didn't know you could swim

but didn't you just say you could yes

oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy

are you all right

someone needs a swimming lesson

amazing i've never been here before

just wait you haven't seen the most

beautiful part yet

wow i know

cool huh

let's go and see the beavers

you think they're hiding under the

waterfall

maybe

there they are

no way

that's why they call it beaver creek

are we bothering them no as long as

we're not too noisy it's fine

whoa what's going on

let's get out of here

what was that

look at the waterfall it's really weird

it's terrible i wonder what's going on

up there

come on

now just dump that soil in here

this is genius

i know no one's walked this spread to

that's because this is a national park

the river's polluted

that's a sluice box

what are they doing

they're looking for gold

why are they using dynamite to get to

places nobody else has

thank you

okay let's do it just fill the machine

probably shouldn't leave the dynamite

lying around

let me see let me see

we're gonna be rich

these guys are dopes they still

shouldn't be here gold mining's illegal

in the national park so let's go tell

but first we're gonna make sure they

don't blow anything up while we're gone

you wanna steal their dynamite forget it

it's harmless when it's in the box and

i do not know it fine be a big chicken

i'm not a big chicken you are too

there sure is plenty of gold in these

this load of gravel is gonna pay off

like you can't believe i just know

good because when we came down the fire

road i think we crossed into the park

so what it's a national park joe

ain't nobody here to stop us is there

before we begin let me say that going in

the water without knowing what you're

doing can be very dangerous luckily i

happen to be an expert at the swimming

can't all dogs swim

they can dog paddle if fif is going to

swim i gotta demonstrate first watch and

is it learn

well that depends but i wouldn't try it

here

you know i think i can swim can you show

me how

sure

what are you waiting for bill

go grab some more dynamite

all right already i'll go

watch out zoey

how come i gotta be the one who carries

everything it ain't fair quick billy i

hurry up hurry up he sure does get on my

nerves

hey don't do that

you threw a plate at me a plate you're

just get the dynamite and get back over

here

where'd it go

that was genius i thought i was caught

don't thank me that was lassie

you're amazing you know that

now let's go

no i don't want those guys running

before we get back with dad look we were

lucky with the dynamite now let's just

find your dad okay right after i steal

the keys to their truck

i can't stand her

sometimes i know i know come on

where's

i don't care what zoe says go get her

dad quick go

gotcha

easy now nice doggy

it's okay lassie we'll be fine go get

zoe stack

bill you know what this one just said

we're disrupting a fragile eco something

is that right you're killing the fish

and you almost wrecked the beaver dam

do you think we care

but now you mention it

maybe we should do a little mining

downstream no

stop that's illegal no

don't do that

no

oh

are you crazy stop it

make me

lock them in the camper

leave me alone let go of me

good try i was mad

where's lassie i sent her to get your

dad see anything we can use to get

ourselves out of here

they got mercury what is it

you definitely don't want to use that

mercury they use it in mining it's super

toxic if that gets in the water it will

poison the whole creek

we gotta do something wait a minute

that'll take hours

you're right

hey

sweet

okay

jump

how does that teach me to swim

because if you don't you'll drown

don't worry

dogs can swim

i think

oh

lassie

oh

get in

beaver creek right

wow that's cool

you did it

did what

i did

and you know what

i am never doing that again

you throw like a girl

you're a genius yeah

you know we should really get back to

work

i'm so glad to see you

and i'm glad to see you

thanks dad

see lassie told you would be okay you

no but some miners are throwing around

sticks of dynamite in the park yeah

there they are

oh let's get out of here

no you don't

what about our stuff

forget it come on

oh

oh

hey you

stop

oh no no is right no that bottle is full

of mercury

what

no stop

oh no

yay

do not move

wow that's some dog

i don't have gold but i have two nice

steel bracelets for you

hey

sorry we were gone so long i know we

said we'd go swimming maybe tomorrow

you'll be able to practice more

or maybe we could do something else

that sounds great

okay see you guys

see you

i don't believe it

all that for nothing i taught you to

swim like a fish

i'm swimming in happiness

hey guys

beth and i decided we'd make dinner

so how was beaver creek really fun

you guys swim

what's so funny

actually i think that's the one thing we

no don't forget lassie went swimming

that's right when she saved the river

lassie saved the river you bet she did

okay why don't you start at the

beginning

come on lassie let me tell it

and
