If you haven't noticed,
the world has become a lot more

'me, me, me,' as attention seeking
has overtaken common sense.

DRIVER: You stupid pineapple,
piece of (BLEEP).

In road terms, that means there are
a lot more drivers out there

who do whatever the hell they like.

(TANKER HORN BLARES)

Which is why installing a dashcam
is the best decision you can make

to keep yourself safe.

DRIVER: She hit me.
She hit me - 911."

Or you could just avoid
this sorry lot of drivers.

That works too.

With more cars being fitted
with side cameras,

it's becoming increasingly difficult
for hit and run drivers

to avoid getting caught in the act.

The car in the fast lane isn't going
quick enough for the guy behind,

so he chooses to barge
his way through instead.

(TYRES SQUEAL)

Jeez Louise!

With these kind of villains
on the road,

car manufacturers really need
to fit better night vision cameras,

to record their license plates.

Hopefully this driver has
a decent dashcam that captured it.

Pedestrian crossings are universally
accepted around the world.

And universally ignored as well.

This driver slows for these kids,

then shockingly puts her foot down
on the gas.

A third replay shows the driver
doing a bit of window shopping.

Even worse, is she runs away
without checking on the kids.

Obviously not a mum.

Did you ever have one of those
toy motorbikes that would shoot out

sparks when you rubbed it
against the carpet?

Good times.

This driver is replicating
that memory in a not-so-good way.

It's another hit and run,

as he flees the scene having
knocked a rider off this bike.

The passenger filming puts two
and two together,

and thankfully gets 911.

WOMAN: Where's the motorcyclist?
Can you call 911?

The police eventually found
the ditched van and driver,

who was charged with the hit and run
- and driving without a license.

Whilst the motorcyclist suffered
minor injuries,

his bike was less fortunate.

Have you ever been to
'all over the place?'

It's a tricky place to get to,

but not when you're high on drugs
and alcohol.

The driver ahead is there now,

as the man filming watches
the white truck swerve and sway

across the road.

DRIVER: All over the place.

He even stops mid-flow, as if
hallucinating a red light ahead.

The driver gives him a quick toot
to say, 'What's the deal, yo?'

and overtakes to get
out of harms way.

Unfortunately, and just like most
annoying drunks,

the guy won't go away,

as he pushes his pick-up
back in front.

Should you ever witness a driver you
believe to be under the influence,

avoid getting too close
and call the police.

And if you think that's being
over-reactive,

watch what happens next.

Holy (BLEEP).

It's a big smash,

as the pick-up collides head-on
with an oncoming vehicle.

Everyone escapes OK,

except for
the high-as-a-kite driver,

who ended up in rehab - sorry, jail.

He should have gone to rehab
in the first place.

(HORN BLARES)

When it comes to witnessing animals
on the road,

tooting your horn
will make their blood boil.

WOMAN: I'm sending
this to the police you idiot.

This jackass sees red as he hammers
on this helpless woman's car,

ensuring she films him
in full rage mode for evidence.

(HORN BLARES)

(ANOTHER HORN BLARES)

See what I mean about the horns?

Others join in to remonstrate
with the monster,

and it's quite obvious he needs less
of the colour red in his life.

Turns out, he had a history
of seeing red

and was given a jail sentence
following this incident.

And if there's a rehab for rage,
he should go there too.

The phrase, 'Watch out,'
can have many meanings.

Such as, 'Mind that child!'

Or, 'Look out for
the flying piece of rubber!'

Driving is fraught with danger.

there's rarely a dull day

When my wife asked me what I wanted
for my birthday, I said a Hammerfor.

at you is every driver's nightmare.

But not so good for the pick-up
truck that wakes up

to being crunched in the morning.

I think you're going to need more
than your bare hands

Most drivers have reasonable
expectation that lorry drivers

have done their due diligence
to secure their loads.

What's that expression about
assuming?

What is that thing anyway?

Is he exiting that thing,
or the car?

Oh, the car, I see. Phew!

Thank goodness for right hand drive.

Everyone knows that when cutting
down a tree, you need two people.

One to cut, and the other to film,

just in case the falling tree plan
goes wrong.

The guy filming knows
this all too well.

Lucky shot if that's the way
you measure luck.

And yup, that's some expensive
damage you've done there.

homeowners are aware that you should
probably tie down

the stuff that could blow away.

Like a trampoline, the regrettable
decision of many parents.

Fortunately, the trampoline lands
right on the car.

Let's hope the kids don't go for
a bounce

when they get home from school.

The one thing you wouldn't think
to tie down is a pool,

'cause it's a pool, right?

Not if you don't fill it with water.

This pool goes full deep-end,

blowing onto the road and
almost belly-flopping the car.

windscreen should be an expression

for something
that is needlessly loud.

you have the responsibility
of controlling.

Plus, you're probably scaring
the snake more with your shrieking.

she'll happily be on her way.

Have you ever seen those orange
cones in the road and thought,

'Who am I to let life's barriers
get in the way?'

We've told you to watch out
for flying hammers,

but in a cruel twist of fate,

what do you do in a when
the barriers themselves

become the danger?

(PANICKED CRIES)

Here's a tip, if you do see
a warning device designed for safety

and protection in mind,
please don't ignore.

Doing so will leave a horrible mess.

When you hit the pain barrier,
the best way to push through it,

is embrace the pain,
talk yourself happy, and push on.

Alternatively, avoid hitting
the barrier altogether.

I'd stop to help but, frankly,

you need to get through
the pain barrier on your own.

Road barriers are there
to protect us,

but that doesn't mean that they
don't hurt when you hit them,

especially on a moped.

I think you know
where we're going with this one.

Not a great jump,
more of a little wipe-out jump.

And we're all thinking the same
thing, that's one big Thai flag.

If you think hitting a barrier
on a moped hurts,

let's try it with a bicycle.

The trick is to bounce your way
to the top of 'Mustard.'

But it rarely works,
much to the amusement of onlookers.

Always nice to see the posh get
their comeuppance.

This couple opt to rev their way up,
but their vintage car says,

'No, this isn't my idea of fun.'

It's a bit of a damp squid attempt
that disappoints the crowds.

Not to worry, the best part is

life-threating situations.

So, what kind of person would

And she's high on cocaine.

Lots of cocaine.

Like a cocaine bear amount

Officers manage to execute
a PIT manoeuvre on hole eight,

to bring her round of
speed golf to an end.

Only, it gets worse. I mean,
what on earth is she wearing?

Jodi is finally taken down
and whisked away,

but not before asking the officers
if they would like to 'party.'

It's not all fun and games
for police here,

who are obviously missing
an awesome baseball game.

The game is paused,

as cops try to corral this cyclist
who is doing circles around them.

And from the reaction of spectators,

it's a lot more thrilling
than the baseball.

Yo, what the hell?

You've taken me to the ball game,

where are the promised peanuts
and cracker jacks?

Police will go to great lengths
in the name of the law,

as this motorcyclist in Thailand
finds out

when he sees a police officer
holding onto the side of

this tanker for dear life.

Turns out the truck driver didn't
want to stop at the check point,

so his toll charge is one cop.

He's even locked in with one arm
whilst texting with the other.

Shockingly, this is no short ride,

with the driver refusing
to stop for nearly ten miles.

Nothing much happens in those
ten miles, so we'll skip the end,

where finally he pulls into
a service station once realising

he's low on fuel
and hasn't had lunch.

Someone's in big trouble, but not as
much as the officer who received

a ticking-off from his wife,
for taking his job too seriously.

Big city cops might get all
the fun,

but it's the rural chases that
provide that solid adrenaline rush.

It's Halloween in Ohio,

and this bandit on a stolen Bobcat

is looking to flee
from this cornfield.

The cop runs alongside in
a high-paced foot pursuit,

even drawing his gun.

COP: Shut it off now, shut it off.

As the cop climbs onboard the
digging bucket to go face-to-face,

the suspect gives warning.

THIEF: Hey get back,
you're going to get hurt.

Stop.
Too late.

And just like that, flips the cop
back into the cornfield.

Stop it now!

Imagine the grilling
back at the precinct.

Worst. Halloween. Ever.

And we didn't even get
to see Florida Man!

To the rescue.

When life throws you curveballs,

sometimes all you really need is
a handy bike

to help you get from A to B.

Whether rescuer or being rescued,

what matters most is
how you react in those moments,

even if that attempt to help
a stranger out of a ditch

doesn't quite go to plan.

Look out doggie!

Time to finish with a celebration
of the good,

where even the littlest help
comes in handy.

MAN: His helmet, wrong side.

Ah now that's so much better!

How do you react
to a person in need?

Are you the type of person who helps
out a human in distress

or do you ignore and speed ahead?

This driver is heading down
the highway when he spies a car

in trouble on the other side of
the busy dual carriage way.

So, what does this hero do?

He turns his car around and sees
if he can offer assistance

to a fellow driver
in a spot of trouble.

Not a good place
to break down at all.

It's busy enough to cause
a nervous breakdown.

Risking his own safety,
he snapes on the flashers,

dons the hi-vis and sees if he can
sort her tyre out.

Quicker than it takes for the break
down company to come to your rescue,

this automotive assistant has
the bad wheel off,

the spare on, and her faith in
humanity restored, refurnished,

and replenished.

And one more thing, if you do find
yourself stranded on a main road,

always stay on the grass shoulder.

The NHS will thank you for it later.

Vehicles and fire.
A match made in hell.

Here in California, shoppers notice
smoke emanating from a bank.

But it's not the money that's
on fire, it's a parked SUV.

The driver's door is open,

but does anyone check to see
if the driver's in there?

Where there's smoke, there's fire,
and where there's fire,

you'll often find people.

Thankfully this suspecting guy
does check and he's right.

With the driver passed out at
the wheel,

our hero is quick to pull him from
his vehicle and to safety.

And not a moment too soon -

as the smoke thickens,
and the fire rapidly gets worse.

Minutes later, the sirens arrive.

And it's now the turn of
the professionals take over,

dousing the flames and putting
an end to this San Jose drama.

The driver made a complete recovery,

and if anyone deserves
a big fat bankers' bonus,

we know just the guy.

This looks like a computer game.

In fact, it's motion tracking
on a 360-degree camera,

which is able to spot the one thing
you never want to see near a road,

a dog.

Having pulled over onto the hard
shoulder,

the driver in a hoodie beckons
the stray to him.

But wait, what's that?

Turns out it's not just one dog
on the evil highway, but two.

He has a friend, or a girlfriend,
can't really tell from here.

More importantly, a dangerous
highway is no place for you to be.

Hey, where you going?
Off he trots to join his partner.

But our hooded angel is
not about to give in.

He's off again on a mission to save
these hounds from 'Hell Highway.'

Further down, 'Hell Highway,'

and other vehicles are trying
to box the two canines in,

much to the concern of our
'Angel Hoodie.'

Please don't go with him,
he's not even a real angel.

Plus, I have a fifty-foot backyard
with loads of buried bones.

Sensing our hooded hero might be
right, the canine couple keep going.

These pups are really
playing hard to get!

As the ordeal goes on far longer
than anyone thought possible,

hooded angel squeezes in front
to try one last time.

Although to be honest, the dogs seem
totally chilled by the whole thing,

even enjoying the attention.

And heavens above,
number one is secure.

True to his religion, hooded angel
abducts - sorry I mean adopts -

the pup, make that both pups.

Not a problem, there's plenty
of bones to go round.

And with a final nod to
the 360-camera,

he's off with his new best friends,

who'll probably tunnel their way
out of his backyard

in less than five minutes.
