boy doesn't that rain come down yeah

it's a good day for taking it easy and

and a good day for some of my extra

special oatmeal cookies

wow my favorite

that goes for me too lassie then come

and get him

boy was he low

especially in weather like this

visibility must be nearly zero

the way of course luna according to this

mountain national park that's the least

of our worries my instruments are out

and without them we're really in trouble

having a lot of explosives in the back

isn't exactly comforting either nuts

this is gonna throw up our whole

timetable might as well forget about

that heist now relax fulton we'll just

reschedule it cortnox isn't going

anywhere now keep your eyes open for

some place to land

emergency emergency this is x234 we're

disabled and losing altitude

emergency x234 x234 this is thunder

what is your present position and

heading over instruments are out unable

anything in the surroundings that might

there's a lake about a half mile ahead

of us can you describe it over man

x234 you're cutting out

can you read me

we're gonna crash

we're gonna crash let's hope this baby

floats and those explosives don't go off

boy i can barely see anything down there

they went down it's going to be tough

finding them in this lousy weather what

lake do you think she was talking about

there are 15 or 20 lakes in the park

what about the animals dad maybe they

saw the plane that's an excellent idea

ben take her down laura let's see if we

can round up the rescue animals

we're going to keep searching give us

progress reports by your walkie-talkie

and be careful this weather looks like

it'll be with us for a while right dad

good luck

boy

he sure looks comfortable wake toothless

up lassie

ask him if he saw the plane lassie

let's go toothless we gotta find the

other animals

see anything ben not a thing laura the

plane could have gone down in one of the

lakes dad let's hope that's not the case

would probably never find it rescue one

this is jackie over this is rescue one

go ahead jackie we've checked toothless

robbie and musty but they haven't seen

anything we'll check the rest and get

back to you roger over and out

well ready to go fellas

hey here comes edgar

toothless musty robbie

there's an oil slick out there all right

rescue one this is jackie over go ahead

jackie edgar the raven led us to a lake

and we spotted a small oil slick out in

the center could it be from the plane

we're looking for what's your location

i'm not sure mom it's one of the lakes

along the indian head river i'll shoot

up a fire roger we're on our way

let's get in our scuba gear and we'll go

out and take a look

come back where is she going i heard

edgar's walking again maybe he's found

something

well you people can thank your lucky

stars that cockpit was watertight that

airlock saved your lives we were really

losing oxygen fast if it hadn't been for

you yeah we really owe you a lot uh say

floating around anywhere or is it still

at the bottom of the lake no we didn't

see any cargo what were you carrying oh

nothing valuable just a couple of cases

of champagne we'll keep our eyes open

thanks we'd sure appreciate

what you got there girl

what is it dad it's a canister of some

highly explosive material you mean like

dynamite that's right i wonder where

lassie got hold of that good question

there's enough explosives in this to

that sounded like it came from the river

i wonder if there's any more of these

lassie where did you find this

hey what stay right where you are buddy

everybody stay nice and quiet come over

here kid better do what he says gene fox

lassie come here come better not try and

follow us or anything mr turner i can

take care of myself stay here with a kid

mona i'm gonna get that jeep out of the

chopper and we'll make a run for it okay

we'll get him don't worry then what are

we going to do we just can't let him

take gene fox there's not much we can do

laura as long as they have that canister

do you really think they'd use it dad i

they look desperate enough

it would be foolish to chance it

now i'm warning you don't try following

us understand we'll let the kid go when

we're through with them

what are we standing around for let's

get after them dad not just yet susan

i'll turn it over to the highway patrol

and let them handle it right now those

if any of them hit the new hydroelectric

we can't take the chance but how do you

even know there's more than one canister

but we can't risk it now let's get

moving every second counts

there's the river up ahead dad take her

down for a closer look laura roger going

those canisters shouldn't be too hard to

see that aluminum is really bright i

don't see how those explosives will ever

make it to the dam if they're so

sensitive not all of them will ben

but this river is relatively free of

rocks all the way to the dam i see some

dead ahead about a quarter of a mile

right i see it looks like a lot of them

take us about a mile downstream laura

far enough ahead of those canisters so

we can get our gear ready roger ben

there's gotta be some explosives in that

town we can get our hands on well we

still need some kind of transportation

so we'll steal a plane what's the big

deal what about the kid i'll let him go

now quit worrying now both of you get

now remember our position here is less

than two miles from the dam so there's

no room for mistakes we've got to get

every last canister the current is

be careful and be sure to handle those

the slightest bump could set them off

my plan is to split into two groups

jackie lassie toothless and myself

laura susan musty and robbie the second

it'll be the second group's job to grab

any canisters of the first group misses

any questions okay laura get your group

moving

see if you can spot the containers right

dad

here they come

i caught one good boy jackie

swim it in and be careful

as far as we know that's all of them

pete we'll check out the whole river

clear back to the lake just to be sure

pete any word on gene fox yet no ma'am

we found your jeep and that's about all

so far

emergency over

this is rescue one go ahead central a 6

15 emergency in progress two adults and

the boy trapped an elevator at waterford

hotel please respond

rescue one responding at once over and

out

i knew i should never have listened to

you the whole plan lay off mona it's bad

enough we're trapped in a steel coffin

20 floors up it doesn't look good two of

the four cables are nearly gone and the

others are doubtful gene fox are you all

but you better hurry hang on gene fox

we'll get you out get rid of the cops

we want a free ride out of this town and

until we get it all right no police

get this hotel evacuated

okay let's get to work

let up boy robbie just a little further

about five feet to go roger jackie

now slide the wire through that eyelet

robbie

oh great that's all we needed don't

worry the rescue rangers will get us out

of here they'd better head up boy robbie

okay mom we're tied on bring her up

roger

hold him on that's perfect

keep your distance

and don't try anything

as soon as we're out of town we'll let

the kid go

what are you gonna do dad first i'll

attach this tracking device to lassie's

collar

don't let gene fox out of your sight

understand

oh are you crazy what'd you bring us

here for because it's the last place

besides the owner owes me a favor and i

aim to collect

oh relax can't you see he's got a cold

now let's get a move on shall we

there goes lassie

still on the move that's strange they're

entering the amusement park grab a

walkie-talkie susan we're gonna go to

that amusement park too

hey fulton i think we're being followed

you're imagining things just act casual

and we got nothing to worry about

oh

that was one of those rescue animals you

still think i'm imagining things okay

okay

i know how we can ditch him

where's laughing now dad i'm not sure

let's increase the magnification and

looks like they're headed for the

haunted house

oh we've just reached the park can you

give us a fix on lastly in the animals

but i believe she's in the haunted house

the tunnel's probably shielding her

transmitter roger we'll check it out

what was that awful smell there's only

that smells like

that skunk musty for once it's good to

cause lassie can't be far behind come on

let's go

this don't teach him to snoop around

jump save your breath kid

there's no way that much

look

darn those animals come on

rescue one no sign of lassie yet can you

advise us over yeah we picked her up

she's just leaving the bump cars and

moving fast

see this

it's explosives

so do as i say or else

now give me a

here they come

jump hold up jump

rescue one what's your latest reading on

lassie as near as i can figure it they

just boarded the roller coaster the

i hope gene fox is okay

hang on everybody

let's go

i'm gonna make sure those meddling

animals don't follow us this time what

are you gonna do first i'm gonna put on

the brakes

hey what's going on why are we stopped

then

just in case they're getting lonely up

there i think i'll send them some

company i guarantee they'll get a big

bang out of this

fulton look

it's those rescue kids

what have you done with gene fox and

where's lassie they're right up there

they should be coming down any minute

now

oh oh i think we've got company quick

ben get the litter ready we're going to

have to do this fast

all right here comes rescue one we're

saved it's that helicopter again they

found us

okay bring us up

whoa

that was too close for comfort jackie

they're getting away

give yourselves up and no harm will come

to you the only thing i'm going to give

up is this

here

i'm truly grateful to all you rangers if

it weren't for you my park might have

so i'd like to show you my thanks by

letting you go on all the rides you want

thanks but

i think we've already had all the rides

we want for one day
