we're coming out jackie

as you know

lassie and the rescue rangers were due a

half hour ago to perform rescue

demonstrations for us

in view of the fact

ah here they are now

i'm terribly sorry about being so late

mr benson but we had some engine trouble

no problem mr turner shall we get

come on kids let's get moving

what are we gonna demonstrate first dad

a mountain climbing rescue we'll use

toothless as the victim

good afternoon students

my name is ben turner

and i'm a member of the rescue rangers

who are here today to demonstrate some

i urge you to pay close attention to

these demonstrations

that in your own daily lives there may

come a time when you will be confronted

with an emergency situation of some kind

our first demonstration of the day will

deal with a mountain climbing rescue our

victim is stranded on an icy ledge with

a broken leg the rescue rangers will use

two methods in this rescue jackie ben jr

and susan will assist from above in

rescue one while gene fox will approach

the victim by scaling the mountain all

right jackie get rescue on airborne

fox start climbing

now the first objective in any type of

rescue is to reach the victim which in

this case is gene fox's job

since the victim is unconscious with a

gene fox will split the leg and

place him in the litter basket lowered

by rescue one naturally all rescues

don't come off quite that smoothly

but i think you can understand how

important teamwork is between the two

parties involved

thank you very much

now for our next demonstration

you're under arrest

what for robbery let's go wait

there must be some mistake no mistake

mister the bank's hidden camera got

pictures of all of you including those

animals

i can't believe it they look just like

us and there's lassie and all the

animals too

i just can't understand this chief

these kids aren't criminals i know that

but legally my hands are tied the

evidence is too incriminating but

they're imposters we weren't anywhere

near that bank this morning the robbery

can you prove your whereabouts at that

time we had some engine trouble and had

the land to fix it that's why we were

late for our demonstration at the high

school where did you land in the field

somewhere outside the city well

did you talk to anyone i'm afraid not

there were no roads nearby and we didn't

because it doesn't look good huh i'm

sorry ben chief you've known me for

can't you give us a chance to prove the

rescue rangers innocence well i don't

how much time would you need 24 hours i

may be able to get you a court order for

12 hours but no more thanks chief you

won't be sorry i sure hope not

see anything susan nothing yet dad

shouldn't be too hard to find that phony

rescue one there's only so many places

you can hide a helicopter rescue one

rescue one this is jackie over this is

rescue one go ahead jackie we're

checking out a block of condemned

description was seen around here earlier

roger keep in touch over and out

look jackie there she is

wow you could hide an elephant in here

and there must be over a hundred rooms

a tunnel good work lassie i'd better

rescue one rescue one this is jackie

we spotted that calling followed her

into the abandoned building i see

discovered a tunnel and we're going to

check it out you boys watch your step

and keep us posted over and out okay

let's go

see anything suspicious jackie

cut your lie gene fox

what is it it looks like some kind of

laboratory let's get a closer look

hey there's mom and dad what are they

those are robots you're right and look

at the rescue animals they're robots too

they must all be controlled by those big

computers

don't move

these robots have nasty tempers and

these buttons can make them even nastier

who are you my name isn't important

jackie hey how come you know my name i

know all the rescue rangers by name your

the little boy is ben jr and the dog of

i've been studying you very closely but

i know why it was your robots that

robbed that bank this morning and the

police think it was us very perceptive

too bad that knowledge won't do you any

good

there's a nice cold cell waiting for you

go lassie get help

you meddling brats

now that you're going to stay awhile

there's someone i'd like you to meet

yes master rescue rangers this is rescue

one do you read me jackie see what your

father wants

this is jackie dad go ahead i don't

believe this what's the story on that

it was a dead end dad where are you now

still no sign of the pony rescue one

chopper okay dad talk to you later

it's a success

even your own father can't tell the

difference

something's gone wrong

the dog is malfunctioning good girl

gene fox find lassie and bring her back

yes master

you'll never get away with this mister

last year my dad will see to that don't

computers and i plan the perfect crime

and you're going to pay for it so you

might as well get used to being behind

bars

there she is

she's in here

wow

dad i may have something there's an old

deserted ship down there with an awfully

big cargo hatch you're right let's take

a closer look

there's something inside the hole but

it's covered up we better find out what

it is

so

there we go my little electronic friend

as soon as i find out where mr turner is

you'll have your work cut out for you

see if he's still snooping around the

rescue one this is ben come in over this

wondering where you are dad we're just

about to board an old abandoned ship

susan thought she saw something in the

cargo hold don't listen to him dad the

robot imposters

did you say something about robots no i

didn't dad it must have been some kind

of interference see you later over and

proceed to the docks and lead mr turner

back here you're dreaming if you think

mr turn is going to fall for that robot

well let me tell you something

i've been working for two years on those

they're perfect in every detail

lassie's own mother couldn't tell her

apart from the robot maybe so but you

forgot one thing yes what's that a heart

what are you waiting for

i should get mr turner so i can proceed

with the greatest robbery in history

for which the rescue rangers will be

blamed

well susan

maybe this old tub holds some answers

for us i hope so our 12 hours are almost

up

there it is dad that's what i saw well

it's large enough to be a copter but

i'll have to go below to check it out

what are you doing here where are the

what's wrong girl

susan you were right

we found the phony rescue one oh great

now isn't this enough proof to clear

ourselves not quite but it's a good

what are you doing here i don't know but

she's acting strange i'll be right up

hey

what's wrong with you two stop that what

has something happened to the boys

rescue rangers this is rescue one do you

read me over come in rescue rangers

now he'll follow my robot lassie right

into my clutches

dad have you noticed how strange

lassie's been acting i think she's

trying to tell us something maybe she

knows what happened to the

she wants us to boys her okay let's go

i have a feeling they're in some kind of

trouble

hey toothless what's wrong boy he

doesn't want us to go toothless now

we've got to find the

that boys looks just like lassie that

dog is lassie

i'm gonna

those dogs mean business

is that it looks like a robot susan

or what's left of one

oh lassie i'm so glad you're all right

lassie where are the boys can you take

us to them

all right

hand over all your money and put it in

this suitcase perfect absolutely perfect

now as soon as the other robots return

with their prisoners i'll be ready to

launch my own rescue rangers on their

see the red light blinking on that

computer yeah what about it that's the

same light that blinked when the robot

dog malfunctioned before then it must be

susan still have a chance to bail us out

of here

get out of here that building's rigged

with dynamite the whole thing's going to

blow up in 30 seconds

run run

what's going on

what is it an earthquake i don't think

so it sounded like an explosion to me my

can't control them

i'm i'm ruined

rescue one rescue one this is jackie do

you read me over

jackie are you all right yeah we're okay

but the guy that got us into this mess

escaped

help

somebody help me

sounds like our scientist friend didn't

get too far after all

hey there's gas escaping in the tunnel

classy dad are we ever glad to see you

i'll say but we've got an emergency here

the guy we want is inside this tunnel

and it's filling up with gas

it'll take us at least an hour to dig

through all that rubble i bet it might

be too late i've got an idea dad i'll

bet robbie musty could burrow through

these rocks in no time and they could

take a resuscitator with them good idea

ben it's sure worth a try

how are they doing mr turner they're

still digging but i'm afraid they're

both getting pretty tired

i

can't last much longer

they made it they dug through

now our scientist friend will breathe

clean air until we can dig him out

i want to thank you ben no telling how

many robberies those robots might have

gotten away with don't thank me chief

lassie and the rescue rangers did most

of the work

damn look out

it's the robot dog not this time gang

but how can you be so sure dad because

i've never seen a robot yet that can

have puppies

rescue ranger
