The next example of factors that I wanted to show you is that you may have noticed that we've got filters

on this page and filters on all pages.

So I just want to show you a couple of quick examples of how that would work.

So we saw previously just now, if you pick a visualization straight away, as soon as you pick the

visualization, you will see that you get the filters on this visual.

And that's what we've just worked through.

Now we've seen that we can actually filter each of the fields that are currently in the visualization,

but we could also add new data fields into the visualization.

However, if you click off that, you'll now see that you have filters on this page and filters on all

pages.

Now I'm going to go back to page one just to show what happens if we use, say, the filters on this

page.

So let's say, for example, we take our region and we drop it on to filters on this page.

And let's say we only want to see Asia for this.

And you can see automatically as soon as I picked Asia, it filtered everything that was on the page.

However, if we go across to our activity page, you will see then that these figures have not been

filtered at all.

If we go back to page one and instead of having the region in filter on this page, we move it to filters

on all pages.

Well, obviously going to see then that it will filter across all the pages.

So let's just remove that.

Let's go back to filters on all pages and we're going to put our region in there.

And again, let's just pick Asia for this.

So, again, you can see now it's filtered on this page.

Let's go to our activity.

And you can see now it's also filtered everything that are on those pages as well.

So basically, this just gives you the ability that if you are creating a report and on the first page,

you just want to see a specific country or you want to see a specific product category, for example,

then you could just put a filter for that page.

However, if you're working where you want to put a filter which goes across the entire report, it

goes across all the pages, then we can use the filters on all of the pages.

So this just gives that ability to be able to do that.

You can see if we change this to Europe now, the values change.

Go back to activity.

You'll see now that it's filtered across all those pages.

And again, if you wanted to, you could add additional fields in here.

We're just using one example with this, but you could have more than one field if you wanted to.
