Evidently Will could tell that

Thorne was uncomfortable in the

marriage, even though Katie

didnt.

I mean, it sounds like hes

gonna be okay.

I almost feel like Will

understands why Thorne is

leaving.

Shes been really great

about letting me spend time

with her girls.

that makes me feel hopeful.

You know, that, like, I actually

might get on the other side of

this with some of my sanity

still in tact.

Holding Phoebe, it just...

makes all the pain go away.

Losing Beth has been

so hard for Hope.

Yeah, and for Liam.

My heart breaks for

both of them.

Especially for Hope.

I lost a child once.

It was devastating.

And I didnt --

I didnt carry to term.

to go through that.

>> Steffy: I didnt know if Id

be able to recover.

So I can only imagine what

Hopes going through.

>> Zoe: It shouldnt have

happened.

There was no reason for Hope

to lose her baby.

>> Steffy: Its hard to

understand why these things

happen.

You just missed her, by the way.

Yeah, she comes over to

hang out with the girls.

>> Xander: Id just imagine that

would be a painful reminder,

being with them.

No, I-I get it.

I was concerned about that, too.

But...

Hope seems to find comfort

and peace here.

Especially with Phoebe.

Maybe its because Phoebe

is about the same age as --

as Beth.

Theres just been so much

sadness in Hope since Beth died.

And when she holds Phoebe,

it just -- it all seems

to slip away.

No matter how fussy Phoebe is,

she makes Hope come alive.

I dont know.

On one level, its --

its heartbreaking, yeah,

but its also really beautiful

seeing their connection.

connection between them?

I thought that from the

moment they met.

Its like I have to

remind myself that

Hope is holding Phoebe,

not Beth.

Hopes instincts for that child

are so intense?

Maybe theres a reason for that.

Why Hope finds so much peace

when she hold Phoebe.
