We lost one of our most beloved queens this past year,

Chi Chi was one of those folks who was loved by everyone.

Everyone who met Chi Chi truly loved her energy.

she was very, very kindhearted,

and I loved every second of it.

It was honestly a thrill

to work with Chi Chi any day of the week.

What was incredible about Chi Chi

is she was so talented.

She was a show-stopping, and I mean a show-stopping performer.

You're one of the best performers that I've ever met.

You'd be taking a nap

up until the moment your music starts playing,

and then you'd run up to the stage

and do 10 back flips and cartwheels.

That bitch can sing.

We were on a Christmas tour, and there was some confusion

with two girls doing the same song.

And so Chi Chi was the bigger girl,

and she decided to switch.

She sang Silent Night, baby,

and everybody else on the tour

who thought they were gonna sing live stopped.

She was a complete entertainer, but most of all

it was all her personality and character.

She inspired me so much.

She was a queen who didn't have all the finest things,

but she had the talent and the ability,

that made her just how special she really was.

I drove from Dallas all the way to Shreveport

just to spend time with her
