In the first year of Shangyuan,

Empress Wu got the title of Heavenly Empress.

It was unprecedented.

The court was appalled.

In the same year,

plagues of locusts and floods

occurred frequently.

The country was in turmoil.

There was endless criticism.

In order to consolidate her position,

the Heavenly Empress went against popular opinion,

and followed the advice of the Nation's Instructor

to build the Palace,

hoping for the appearance of the Black Dragon

to bring prosperity to the country.

These days are finally ending.

Two more days of holding out, and we can finish our work.

I'll buy you a drink

at the Zuixianfang Bar then.

Great!

By the way,

do you think the Black Dragon

can really bring prosperity to the country?

It definitely works.

You see, 2 years ago,

there were either plagues of locusts or floods.

But since the construction of the Black Dragon's Palace,

there has been a significant decrease.

It's a pity for Lord Zhang though.

He opposed the construction of the Palace, and was demoted.

Now the Black Dragon really works,

I'm afraid Lord Zhang

will never be reinstated.

Look, did it just move?

It's alive! The Black Dragon is alive!

The Black Dragon is alive!

Help!

Run!

[Unity of Four Seas Hall]

Young Master,

the thunder accidentally triggered the mechanisms of the Black Dragon.

It has been exposed.

Go.

Get someone to clean up the mess before the officials arrive.

Yes.

[DETECTIVE DEE AND THE DRAGON OF FIRE]

Five days after the fire in the Palace,

Zhang Huaiyuan, who was in charge of this case,

[The Nation's Instructor is the sixth son of the Crown Prince Yin, bearing ill intentions towards the country.]

hanged himself at home.

Master, it's time for dinner.

Master!

After that,

the Vice-President of the Supreme Court, Hou Feng, took over the case.

Let's go.

One month later,

Lord Hou's house was mysteriously on fire.

He died unnaturally.

There was a rumor that the fire in the Palace involved the Black Dragon.

Anyone related would die unnaturally.

At that time, Lord Dongfang

volunteered to take over the case.

Four months have passed since then.

Dongfang Yun,

the Grand Ceremony is about to start,

but your Supreme Court is in a mess.

Has there been any progress in the case of the palace maid

who left the Palace, and was skinned the other day?

Your Majesty, please don't be mad.

What else do you have to say?

I've failed Your Majesty's trust.

Please give me more time.

I will definitely solve the case.

It's unnecessary.

For the Palace fire case, I already have someone in mind.

He will be here soon.

Don't meddle.

Solve the skin-peeling case as soon as possible.

If you don't solve it,

don't go back to the Supreme Court.

Your Majesty, this...

Yes.

Stop fighting, Young Master. Mr. Li wants you in.

Let's go.

Stop!

Now you have been appointed by the Heavenly Empress.

But do you know how dangerous it is?

Nowadays, the court is in a huge mess.

Anyone involved will not be able to leave unscathedly,

and it is very different from your ambition.

Please think it through.

I will keep your words in mind.

I have something else to tell you.

Please go ahead.

I want Little Tuanyuan to follow you,

and gain more experience.

Sure, I'll do as you say.

I'll ask him to find you in a few days.

Thank you, sir.

It's getting late.

I will bid farewell to you.

Gui Xue,

let's go.

OK.

Let's go.

[Peace and Prosperity]

Young Master, hurry up!

There must be something interesting ahead.

Be careful!

Are you rushing to reincarnate?

The Supreme Court.

[Supreme Court]

My Lord, another skinned female body was found at the East Gate.

That's terrible!

Lead the way.

My Lord, we found him.

His name is Di Renjie.

He's from the small place Bing Zhou.

Di Renjie? Let's go.

The female victim was 16 to 18 years old.

The time of death should be last night.

She was stabbed in the left chest and died.

The skin on her right hand was completely removed.

She must have been skinned when she was alive.

The Supreme Court is investigating a case. Get out of the way!

Who told you to move the body?

Take her away.

Wait a minute.

Greetings, Lord Dongfang.

You know me?

I've just been transferred to the Supreme Court from Bing Zhou.

Of course I need to know my colleagues

in the Supreme Court.

This is the transfer letter. Please take a look.

[Heavenly Empress's Decree: The Supreme Court is ordered to bring the original document, and transfer Di Renjie, the judge of Bing Zhou, to the Supreme Court to collaborate on handling cases. When Di Renjie receives the transfer order, he should quickly take up the position. No delays.]

Di Renjie.

Take him with you, too.

How can you be so unreasonable?

Please lead the way.

My Lord, isn't this a bit...

He hasn't reported to the Supreme Court yet.

Let's first dampen his spirits a bit.

Gong Jiu,

you can't escape the blame of the Palace catching fire.

Cut off an arm as your punishment.

Thank you for allowing me to redeem myself.

Behave yourself.

That Dongfang Yun is so unreasonable.

He seems to have a grudge with us.

It is normal that taking people's jobs will upset them.

All right, don't be angry.

Where is Liu Da?

Tell me!

- Young Master, it seems to be Mrs. Zhang. - Tell me!

Stop it.

I really don't know.

Still denying it?

Mrs. Zhang.

Mrs. Zhang.

Who are you?

I'm Huaiying. Do you remember me?

I'm an old friend of Lord Zhang.

Huaiying.

Mrs. Zhang, why are you here?

The court asked my Master to investigate the case.

He hanged himself at home a few days later.

Then we were arrested.

We were forced to reveal Liu Da's whereabouts.

Huaiying, we are innocent!

Don't worry, Mrs. Zhang.

Did Lord Zhang have any abnormal behaviour

before he passed away?

He seemed to feel very guilty those days,

and locked himself in his room.

At first, I thought he was feeling guilty

because of the fire in the Palace.

But I didn't expect...

Be quiet!

Young Master, why is Mrs. Zhang here?

Lord Zhang was demoted to be Liu Da's deputy

to supervise the construction of the Palace.

After that, he was in charge of the self-investigation.

It was normal for him to be involved in this case.

But Mrs. Zhang shouldn't have been here.

I'm afraid

this is because Lord Dongfang

is putting his focus on Liu Da.

If I remember correctly,

Miss Yueru's father

is Liu Da.

[One year ago]

Remember last winter,

when I was going after the culprit of the Double Head Case,

I met her for the first time.

Hush!

Di Renjie, come out.

My Lord wants to see you.

When you meet the grandee later,

watch your mouth.

Don't talk nonsense.

Miss Min'er, this is Di Renjie.

I was ordered by the Heavenly Empress to send a message to Lord Di.

The palace will be reused in seven days.

You don't have much time.

After handing over with Lord Dongfang,

please hurry to solve the case.

[Supreme Court]

Miss Min'er, let me see you off.

Lord Di, because you were transferred to the Supreme Court,

according to the rules,

I've arranged a house for you.

Please follow me.

That's it?

Lord Di,

Lord Dongfang asked me to bring you

the files of the case in the Palace.

Please have a look.

[Scroll of the Black Dragon Case]

That's all? Just a piece of paper?

Yes, that's all.

Some bodies are still in the morgue.

You can take a look yourself.

If there is nothing else, I shall leave.

Stop!

Are you trying to make things difficult for my Young Master?

Don't talk nonsense, young lady.

The files were burned down

when Lord Hou died.

Only these name lists are left.

What do you mean?

She is just impatient. She didn't mean it.

Where is this stone craftsman now?

In a courtyard in the East Street.

Go by yourself if you want.

You...

Don't be angry.

I don't care.

I'll go to the morgue later anyway.

The Underworld River is in the darkness. The coroner enters the morgue.

Those people are not sinners. Please show them your merits.

[Burned Corpse in the Palace]

[Notice Wanted]

Young Master, it's getting dark. Where are we going?

To find the stone craftsman.

Let's go.

Hello?

Is anyone here?

Young Master,

this place seems to be empty for a long time.

Is this the stone craftsman?

I think so. Go take a look.

Boss Di, you are really here.

Little Tuanyuan.

Master asked me to learn from you,

so I went to the Supreme Court.

They said you were here,

so I came over.

What is Gui Xue doing?

Don't disturb her.

She's treating people.

What is this?

Get some white cloth and charcoal.

Okay.

Young Master, it's working.

Get these printed.

His blood and pulse in his heart, lungs, and brain are blocked.

It must be caused by shock.

I'll use acupuncture,

and temporarily suppress his condition now.

You can try to ask him.

Excuse me,

what exactly happened in the Palace?

Fire, fire was everywhere.

The Black Dragon breathed out the Heavenly Fire.

People died.

What else was there besides the Black Dragon?

What else did you see?

She's on the wall. Don't kill me. Don't kill me.

Don't kill me!

Boss Di, what's wrong?

- Young Master, be careful! - Boss Di!

Di Renjie!

Follow him!

Run!

It's you again.

Don't leave.

[Hua Fu Inn]

Don't come close!

Danger!

Go after her!

Don't let the criminal get away!

It's dangerous ahead.

Watch out!

Yueru!

Who is this woman?

My fiancee.

Why did you save me?

Young Master.

- Gui Xue, take a look. - Young Master!

Miss Yueru.

Boss Di, are you alright?

I'm fine. How's the situation over there?

We couldn't save him.

Young Master, the arrow is poisoned.

We have to take her back to treat her.

OK. Let's go.

Liu Yueru.

Datou.

My lord.

If I remember correctly,

Liu Da's daughter is Liu Yueru, right?

Yes, my Lord.

Hey, what's wrong?

How do you feel?

Wait.

Thank you for saving my life.

What happened today...

What happened today was forced by the situation.

I am a responsible man.

How can I ruin your reputation?

I will take full responsibility for this.

Take full responsibility?

How?

Do you know who I am?

My likes?

My personality?

You don't know anything. How can you say that?

This is my family heirloom.

It's passed down only to...

My name is Liu Yueru.

My father is the Vice Minister of the Ministry of Works.

If you dare, come to my house and propose.

I'll wait for you.

Young Master.

Young Master.

Don't worry too much.

Miss Yueru will get better.

Boss Di, this is what we printed today.

My Lord.

What's the deal with these fruit plate tributes?

My Lord,

we are worshipping the unjustly dead.

Tell us.

I heard that

when the Palace was on fire,

the souls of the burned workers

were trapped in this wall.

So we're here to worship them.

Bring me the tools.

Okay.

My lord, stop please.

I've been ordered to investigate the fire in the palace,

now I need to reveal this wall

to check the traces of what happened. May I?

Well, my lord,

this place is ominous.

I think we should forget it.

So I can't reveal it?

My lord, I didn't mean to disobey you.

I'm afraid...

Then I'll do it myself.

[Corpse ashes in the palace]

Did he burn into ashes in an instant?

Young Master, why are we here?

I've always found this case weird.

And Mrs. Zhang said

Lord Zhang had been in this room

before he died.

I guess there should be something left.

By the way, Young Master，

those burnt corpses today are really odd.

The cuts on bodies were as neat

as if they were sliced off.

Hush.

Let's go.

Go!

After them!

Yes.

Lord Di,

why don't you sleep at home at midnight

but set on fire here?

Guards, put out the fire!

If the fire spreads,

I'll punish you.

Move.

Stay here, please.

What are they doing?

She's so pretty.

What are you doing? Stop!

Forget it.

It was burned in an instant.

Gui Xue.

Do you think men are burned to ashes

instantly like that?

No way.

People are different from lanterns.

Unless...

Unless...

There is a special flame

that can burn a man into ashes instantly.

That's right.

But things that can make fire are usually

wood, charcoal, and oil.

Not necessarily.

Maybe

there is another flame that we don't know.

Well,

we can ask master.

You're right.

Let's go.

Senior.

Lord Di.

Master said

I don't need to inform him if you're coming here,

you can go in directly.

Thank you.

Senior.

What are you doing?

Junior, you are back.

Master left the evening homework yesterday,

and I didn't make it.

So here I am, taking my punishment.

Junior,

you can come and help me.

Alright.

So

What are you going to lose to me this time?

Look.

Master asked me to cover my eyes

and take the black out of the white.

If I fail three times,

I'll be punished again.

That's simple, Senior, can't you even do that?

No wonder Master has to punish you every time.

So Junior,

you know how to crack it?

It's so easy.

Give me this pancake,

I'll show you the way.

Take it.

Hold it first.

Watch this.

Junior,

how did you do it?

Teach me.

Master.

I think someone's

behind this case.

Whoever gets involved

will be killed by the man behind it.

It happened to Zhang Huaiyuan.

So did Hou Feng.

And that mad stone craftsman.

Even the artisan who saw the figures on the wall

was not spared.

The more people died,

the more shocking the truth is.

Even so,

do you want to investigate further?

Sure.

But

I have a question.

Can you answer it for me?

Is there something you can't figure out too?

Master,

what flame in this world

can burn a man to ashes instantly?

Is there such a thing?

Come with me.

Look.

This book is full of fantastic stories.

It mentioned a fire from the Western Region,

called Phoenix Fire.

It's extremely hot and white.

[Phoenix Fire]

It's rumored to be able to seal men's souls.

In a small country in the Western Region,

it's used for felons.

This may be what you are looking for.

But...

It remains to be seen

if it really exists.

Fire. There's fire everywhere.

There's fire all around.

Since a man can be burned into ashes in an instant,

why would there be burnt corpses?

Was it not the same fire

on the day of the palace fire?

There are no ashes left in the mouth of the burnt corpse.

It's more like burning the body after death.

Could it be that someone deliberately set the fire after the murder

to hide another truth?

That's enough.

Sorry to disturb you.

Goodbye.

Huaiying.

Master, what else?

Have you ever regretted being bound

by imperial orders?

Who allowed you to act on your own?

Di Renjie is a detective.

He came here and found Zhang Huaiyuan's house.

I had to stop him in case he found something.

You think you're smart.

Who are you to decide for me?

I'm afraid if we keep him, he'll ruin the plan.

Don't do it again. Get out!

Young Master.

Mrs. Zhang has confirmed that

it does belong to Lord Zhang.

Oh, right.

Miss Yueru is awake.

Let's go check on her.

Yueru.

I can't stay here.

I'll cause you trouble.

I'm not afraid of trouble because you're my concern.

Do you know I've been looking for you?

Yueru.

Gui Xue.

[Classic And Elegant]

Sit down.

How is it?

Young Master, she's fine for now.

I just need to use acupuncture to control the poison,

but she needs to rest

and can't be tired.

Otherwise, the poison will spread.

Yueru, take a good rest.

Yueru.

How did you get involved

with that assassin?

Are you talking about the man from Zuixianfang Bar?

Zuixianfang Bar?

When the palace was built,

the materials used were recorded by my dad.

I've checked every supplier.

The most suspected is Young Master Gong of Zuixianfang Bar.

Who is Young Master Gong?

Young Master Gong. She is a female called Gong Jiu

but pretends to be a man.

When I was investigating her,

I bumped into someone dumping bodies.

Unfortunately, I was stopped by the assassin

and failed to capture the body-dumper.

I suspect

those flayed women

are connected to Zuixianfang Bar too.

I see.

All right.

Thank you.

You're welcome.

[Classic And Elegant]

I'm going to make the medicine.

Take a good rest.

Leave the rest to me.

The assassin's tricks are weird. You must be careful.

My lord, I've found that

the closest contact with foreign merchants from the Western Region

is Zuixianfang Bar.

I think if we are going to check the Phoenix Fire

we need to start with Zuixianfang Bar.

Di Renjie, he is smart.

Let's move to Zuixianfang Bar.

Yes.

[Zuixianfang Bar]

Hold this place and don't let anyone in or out.

Yes.

Especially Di Renjie.

Young Master.

Don't miss any corner.

Jin Huan.

Get rid of the body. Go down and take a look.

Yes.

Lord, what are you doing?

The Supreme Court is handling a case.

All of you, get out!

Search!

Search carefully.

Don't miss any corner.

[Zuixianfang Bar]

[Supreme Court]

My lord, we didn't find anything.

Have you searched everywhere?

There are still a few rooms left.

What are you waiting for? Search!

Yes.

Wait.

Lord.

I wonder what we did wrong

to make you so angry?

[Jade Pool]

Who is it?

Miss, I...

My lord, Young Master is receiving an honored guest.

It's not convenient.

An honored guest?

I want to see who this guest is.

Wait.

Di Renjie?

Lord Dongfang, you are here too.

Long time no see.

I'm sorry for being rude.

It's noisy here.

Jin Huan, clean up the backyard

and invite the officials

to have a drink from the Western Region.

Yes.

Who are you?

My lord, he is the boss of Zuixianfang Bar,

Young Master Gong.

Young Master Gong?

You look like a woman,

not a man.

My lord, Heavenly Empress summoned you.

Let's go.

Lord, aren't you going in for a drink?

See you.

This is Di Renjie.

Young Master, why do you have to kill Di Renjie?

The Lord has been angry with you for this.

I knew how dangerous this world was

when I was around wild animals before I was seven.

Go. Do as I said.

Yes.

Mr. Liu,

do you have a way to make the skin once and for all?

I know you

made this arm for me

because I threatened you

with your daughter's life.

But I am a man of my word.

Liu Yueru had checked out Zuixianfang Bar before.

I didn't kill her,

so I kept my promise.

Mr. Liu,

you should remember this kindness.

Get lost!

How dare you!

[Classic And Elegant]

I'll go make the medicine again.

This is similar to the burr puzzle.

You know it?

Yes, I suppose it to be a kind of burr puzzle.

It has a square exterior and a hollow interior.

Is it hollow?

Is there something else?

Let me smash it.

Stop. It is delicate.

If we break it,

even if there's something inside, it'll be destroyed.

I need to figure it out.

OK. Here.

[Supreme Court]

So you succeed?

Yes.

This is...

It is a suicide note.

When I was studying the burr puzzle,

I found that the bamboo tube contains something else.

After printing out the pattern on the surface,

[Classic And Elegant]

I realized it was a drawing.

This drawing is very important.

Take a closer look.

I'm so sleepy. I'll take a nap.

Yueru.

Gui Xue.

Young Master, what's wrong with Miss Yueru?

How is she?

Tell me.

The poison has spread. I can't cure it.

If you want the antidote, come with me.

This is obviously a trap. You can't go.

It concerns Yueru.

I must go even if it's a dangerous place.

Protect Yueru and wait for me to get the antidote.

[Supreme Court]

My lord, that is Di Renjie.

After him!

[The antidote is in the stomach]

I have no choice today.

I will kill your enemy for you someday.

So you are the culprit of the skin-peeling case.

Di Renjie, what else do you want to say?

Guards, take him away.

Boss Di!

[Ling Mansion]

Lord Dongfang,

let me talk to my buddy.

Don't play any tricks.

Boss Di, what happened?

Catch it.

Give the antidote to Gui Xue,

don't worry about the rest.

Be good.

Go back.

Move.

[Ling Mansion]

What a coincidence.

If my poisoning was an accident,

then this antidote was a plan.

Wait.

I'm afraid their target is

not only your young master

but also Dongfang Yun,

and even the whole Supreme Court.

Give me the sword.

[Prisoner]

The Nation's Instructor is

the sixth son of the Crown Prince Yin.

With the intention of endangering the nation,

he created the organ Black Dragon

in the underground palace.

It's unpredictable.

There is also a passageway to the foundation of the palace.

The black powder was kept inside.

If it's ignited, the palace will be destroyed.

By then, the whole palace will collapse.

We must cut off the passageway to prevent future troubles.

Otherwise, the Heavenly Emperor and all officials will be in danger.

Rumor has it that the Crown Prince Yin has fled to the Western Region,

and Master Li is the Crown Prince Yin.

Could it be that Zuixianfang Bar is related to Master Li?

[Set fires and destroy all traces. Kill Hou Feng and Zhang Huaiyuan]

If the black powder has indeed been put into the Black Dragon,

it must be the Phoenix Fire that Master Li mentioned.

So the palace fire and burned bodies were designed

[Dongfang Yun, I was hunted]

to hide the secrets of the Dragon of Fire.

Everything is related to the fire.

Dongfang Yun saved himself

by checking the wrong way.

My lord.

My lord.

What is Di Renjie doing?

My lord, Di Renjie seems to be mad.

He muttered,

and his hand drawing on the wall.

My lord,

Di Renjie

killed someone under our nose.

He's pretending to be crazy.

Stupid!

Di Renjie is not the murderer.

Lock him up for two days.

I get angry when I see him.

With this one, three people

have died in the skin-peeling case.

Di Renjie has only been here for a few days.

Someone framed him.

This gives me a hard time.

Let's go and see Di Renjie.

Yes.

After investigation, the criminal Di Renjie

is the culprit of the skin-peeling case for the girls in the capital.

He is now sentenced to death.

Where is he?

My lord, Lord Cheng took the prisoner.

Where?

Three rebels were secretly executed today.

Lord Cheng took Di Renjie to the torture room.

Damn it.

Let's go.

Stop!

This is the Heavenly Empress's token. Stop the execution.

Stop it now!

Execute him, hurry up! He is a traitor!

How dare you! Get down now.

What are you waiting for?

Stop her! She's a criminal of the imperial court!

Hurry up!

Stop!

Arrest them all.

Yes.

Heavenly Empress,

I've done the divination, the ceremony

can proceed as usual.

The accident in the palace has no effect on this.

What you said makes me feel relieved, Nation's Instructor.

The matter of the Black Dragon is painstaking.

If you didn't do your best, I'm afraid there would be endless troubles.

Fortunately, I can count on you.

When the real dragon is born in three days,

it'll prosper our country for thousands of years.

You should take credit first.

Your Majesty, don't say that.

My wish

is that the Tang Dynasty can be everlasting.

When the Black Dragon is born in three days,

the country will prosper.

Then it's time for me to travel around.

I walk between mountains and rivers to see our country's prosperity.

What a pleasure!

You are really wise

and carefree.

After the matter of Black Dragon ends,

you'll choose to leave worldly affairs behind.

I envy you.

I have disturbed you for a long time.

Please allow me to leave first.

Min'er, send the Nation's instructor off for me.

Yes.

Don't bother. I'll take my leave.

What's the matter?

Chongxiao's Liu Yueru requested an audience.

[Chongxiao]

Let her in.

Yes.

Chongxiao's Liu Yueru is here to see Your Majesty.

You still know to come back?

Yueru knows it's a serious crime

to look for my father without permission.

But I don't believe

my father would flee to escape punishment.

Yue Ru's death is not to be regretted.

But please pardon Di Renjie.

Your Majesty, Di Renjie is here.

Dongfang Yun, you've made me so disappointed!

Your Majesty, I was eager to make contributions.

I almost ruined your plan.

Please punish me.

Punish you?

OK. Guards.

I, Di Renjie, have something to report.

You are Di Renjie?

You want to plead for them?

You're just a judge of Bing Zhou

who worked on secondment at the Supreme Court thanks to other's recommendation,

and then was trapped in prison

before making any achievements.

Who do you think you are to plead for them?

I'm a humble servant.

I should have kept my mouth shut now.

But it's a serious matter. I dare not keep silent.

This matter involves the country.

But I lost the key evidence.

I know I can't persuade Your Majesty to suspend the ceremony.

I only ask Your Majesty

to allow Lord Dongfang and Liu Yueru to assist me

to finish the last day.

If I can't solve this case,

I shall die with them.

All right.

Liu Yueru.

Do you trust him?

Yes.

Dongfang Yun, what about you?

I believe him too.

Allow Di Renjie to lead the Supreme Court

by tomorrow noon.

Yes, Your Majesty.

Get up.

We don't have much time.

Go back to the Supreme Court to gather people

to surround Zuixianfang Bar.

I'll be there shortly.

Di Renjie, are you sure?

Do you think

we have a choice now?

I've emphasized again and again that we're about to succeed.

Don't make any more troubles.

How dare you

overtly agree but covertly oppose?

Setting up Di Renjie

was my idea.

It has nothing to do with them.

I am willing to be punished.

Lord, Young Master didn't do it.

It's me who did it without telling him.

You're so loyal now.

In that case, execute her yourself.

My lord, we found a secret tunnel.

[Yaochi]

Attack! Go!

[Zuixianfang Bar]

Lord Dongfang.

You go first. I'll cover you.

Be careful.

Come back!

It's dangerous! Retreat!

Fight!

My lord, leave it to me.

Wait.

Datou.

Datou.

Are you okay?

Lord Dongfang!

Lord Dongfang!

Go after Gong Jiu!

Don't let him escape.

Don't die.

Every time we are about to succeed,

there will be some obstacles.

The Black Dragon was resurrected by thunderbolt.

That was God's will.

The Black Dragon incident could have ended successfully.

But unexpectedly,

you framed Di Renjie, which drew people here.

Jiu'er, is it right or wrong to punish you?

It's right.

After this,

let these people go.

OK.

Your Majesty, the Supreme Court just sent a message.

They found a secret tunnel at Zuixianfang Bar.

It leads straight to the Palace.

May I be bold to ask Your Majesty to delay the ceremony?

Do you know what that means?

Your Majesty, the case of Black Dragon's resurrection

is still up in the air.

If the Black Dragon resurrects again,

I'm afraid...

You and His Majesty will be in danger.

The prosperity of Tang is built by millions of soldiers

and millions of people.

I invited this illusory Black Dragon

just for celebration.

Even if there really is a Black Dragon,

it should also obey the emperor and practice the etiquette.

If it doesn't obey, it'll be a rebel.

It can be killed.

If things go in an unpredictable direction,

it'll be the will of God that can't be violated.

You wanted to kill Di Renjie

but drew the Supreme Court that shouldn't have come here.

Maybe it's the will of God.

Why do you think so highly of Di Renjie?

You even have spared his life many times.

Just for appreciation.

When the emperor comes,

we can release the Black Dragon to kill him.

A dutiful son is obliged to pay his father's debts.

I'll avenge hundreds of wronged ghosts in my family.

Thinking of that makes me feel really good.

You are the real descendant of the Heavenly Family.

You can bring the world back to orthodox.

My goal is only revenge.

Li Shimin killed my father at Xuanwu Gate.

It's my duty to avenge my father.

You don't want to be the emperor?

I never thought of being the emperor.

Back then, for the throne, Li Shimin

imprisoned his father, killed his brothers and nephews, and wronged his sisters-in-law.

He was blinded by the power.

How can I repeat his mistake?

Once I have my revenge,

will you come with me

to travel around the world?

If you don't become the emperor...

If you don't,

what is

all I have done these years for?

Pass my order. Kill everyone.

Yes.

Gong Jiu, you still won't give up?

It's my father.

Dad, it's me. I'm Yueru.

Yueru.

It's really you.

Get out of here! Leave this dangerous place!

Go!

Dad, what's wrong with your eyes?

Uncle.

Who are you?

I'm Di Renjie.

He is the thief you mentioned.

Get out of here!

Uncle.

I was ordered to investigate the fire in the Palace.

Please clear up my confusion.

This matter concerns your innocence.

They created a black dragon

with the first half of Lu Ban Book.

Once it is activated, people can't contend with it.

Go and ask Her Majesty to send troops to besiege them.

Yueru, take Uncle away first.

Go! Don't worry about me.

I'm locked here by the chain.

Be careful of Gong Jiu.

He forced me to use the second half of Lu Ban Book

to create the strongest arm.

Arm?

I see.

I thought it was Gong Jiu's mental distortion.

I didn't expect such a reason.

Uncle, let's leave first.

Kill them all.

Yueru.

Yueru.

Dad.

Uncle.

Yueru.

Kill!

Dad, don't scare me.

Yueru, take this.

You can wear it

to manipulate my puppet. No!

The Black Dragon is for fun between us.

Put aside your tricks.

Your Majesty is right.

I think so too.

The world is grateful to Your Majesty

for being a wise emperor.

The Black Dragon is invited to serve the emperor.

I guess that's the so-called prosperous world.

I'm very happy.

All this time,

I've been looking for the secret of the resurrection of the Black Dragon.

If Lord Zhang hadn't left the drawing and the suicide note,

I wouldn't have thought

that Master Li was the person behind this.

I even didn't expect that

he built an underground palace,

and attempted to draw the Black Dragon to kill Heavenly Emperor and Empress and officials

at the ceremony.

His actions are unforgivable.

And you, Gong Jiu, are worse than a beast.

I'm worse than a beast?

I've been the one who does dirty work

all these years.

In the end, I found

I was just a tool.

If he doesn't let me kill you,

I must kill you.

Don't panic.

This is a good omen of the good fortune of our country.

Your Majesty is wise.

Your Majesty.

The Dragon of Fire case and the Girl case both ended.

All unrelated people have been released

to show Your Majesty's benevolence.

Dongfang Yun.

Yes, Your Majesty.

You may take office tomorrow.

You have a long way to go.

Don't make any mistakes.

Thank you, Your Majesty.

Di Renjie,

are you willing to stay in the Supreme Court?

Your Majesty,

please make a decision on Lord Liu.

Liu Da made contributions, but also made mistakes.

His merits are even.

Remove the arrest document and let it go.

Your Majesty is wise.

Di Renjie, listen.

Yes, Your Majesty.

Di Renjie contributed a lot

in the Dragon of Fire case.

I hereby bestow the Vice-President of the Supreme Court upon you.

Thank you, Your Majesty.

But I have a request.

Tell me.

Your Majesty, please grant me a marriage.

Who do you love?

Liu Yueru, daughter of Liu Da.

Permission granted.

Thank you, Your Majesty.

Little Tuanyuan.

Yes.

Master died. From now on,

stay with me.

I hope you can be useful to the country,

uphold justice and orthodox.

Don't do anything to mess up the court.

Whatever happens,

the world will suffer.

Yes.

You must remember that everything in the world has its rules.

One can't make a circle without a proper compass.

One can't make a square without a proper ruler.

Today, I'll give you the name Yuan Fang.

Please keep it in mind.

Greetings from Yuan Fang.
