He's a cop.

Take some men to stop him from behind. Hurry.

What did you find?

We found blood and bullet holes.

Inform the Technical Department

to come to the scene right away.

Yes.

Chief Li.

We found nothing.

Keep looking.

Regardless of whether he lives or dies,

I want to see him.

[TELL NO ONE]

[Episode 3 The Bullet]

Zhao Long!

Hu.

Any news?

He has a friend called Dong.

He sets up a stall selling pirated DVDs

next to the Hongfa Store on Old City Street

in Nanping Road every day.

Deputy Chief Zheng.

This is Sanyong's house.

Yujiao.

Why are you...

They are

from our city's criminal police team.

They have some questions

for you.

Hello.

Hello.

Just these two, right?

Okay.

Okay, the exact amount of money.

Thank you.

Dong.

Do you want a DVD?

Where's Sanyong?

I don't know him.

You don't know him?

Do you want a DVD?

What happened?

Stop!

Stop!

Stop!

Whose business card is this?

It's his.

He left it

when I did his laundry

last time.

Do you know this person?

No.

But whenever this woman

called him,

he immediately went out.

Have you asked them

about their relationship?

I asked once.

Then

he beat me up.

I dare not ask anymore.

Do you want to die?

Be careful.

Okay.

Make way.

Fang, she’s here.

Girl, are you also here for an interview?

We don't hire pregnant women.

You are Fangfang, right?

You know me?

You are here for me?

Aren't you going to ask

whose child is

in my belly?

What does it

have to do with me?

Sanyong has something to do with you, right?

This child is his.

You all leave.

Do you think you can just come here

with a big belly and expect me

to believe you?

Sanyong was right about you.

You are the type

who keeps bothering and pestering,

forcing yourself onto others.

Nonsense!

If you don't believe me,

you can call him.

Ask him

if he sent me

and if he wants to break up with you.

Ask him yourself.

Where is Sanyong?

Bro, I really don't know.

Sorry.

The number you have dialed...

Don't bother.

Sanyong told me.

He'll never

answer your phone again.

Sister,

you really don't know

what kind of girl Sanyong likes?

He likes

young and pretty ones like me.

He's tired

of old and ugly women

like you.

Don't you know that?

Shut up!

Do you really think he loves you?

Show some dignity, okay?

I need to hear it

from Sanyong himself.

Now I'm going to find him.

Don't come over, Bro.

I...

If you come any closer,

I'll really jump down.

Please don't.

Don't.

Please, Bro.

We have to go together.

Let's go.

Sure.

Whoever doesn't go is a coward.

Where are we going?

Don't ask me.

Ask her.

Where is Sanyong?

Bro, I really don't know.

I'll tell you.

Lijing Sauna.

Lijing Sauna.

Lijing Sauna.

[Lijing Golden Club]

Later,

a curly-haired guy named Fa

will deliver a box here.

Check if it's

money inside.

If it is,

take him upstairs.

Okay.

Also,

tell our men

to keep watch.

Each of them

will get 2,000 yuan afterward.

Take them out

for a good time tonight.

Thank you, Yong.

Get me a room

and a girl.

[Lijing Golden Club]

The door is not locked.

Team One, follow me.

Team Two, block the back door.

Team Three, guards the second floor. Hurry!

Make way.

Murder! Murder!

Murder!

Police!

Chen Hao, inform the coroner.

Yes.

[Motorcycle]

Block the nearby intersections.

Check all motorcycles.

Yes.

Bro.

Bro.

-Bro. -Here. Here.

He's dead.

Who's dead?

Sanyong is dead.

Who shot him?

I don't know.

Sanyong was shot to death

under the police's nose.

Killing him under the police's nose?

That's pretty tough.

What... What do you mean?

Li.

The deceased's fingerprints and hair

are exactly the same

as the biological samples extracted

from the 327 kidnapping case.

Okay.

When the results come out,

I'll have someone pick them up.

Li.

Let me show you something.

The bullet lodged in the victim's skull.

That's why the bullet was

removed intact.

The standard bullet

is 7.62 mm.

But this one is 7.608 mm.

Both the materials and the craftsmanship

are from small workshops.

The size is exactly the same

as the bullet found in the case of Zheng’s disappearance

six years ago.

That gun appeared.

To determine whether the bullet

was fired from the same gun,

we need to send it to the Provincial Bureau for a ballistic analysis.

There may be some progress

in Zheng's case.

Dongyu.

Everything will have to wait

for the ballistic test results from the Provincial Bureau

to come out.

I know.

Stay calm.

Okay.

Be gentle.

♫Can't bear to miss you too much♫

♫I'm afraid the memory will fade♫

Honey, you're back.

♫In my dream, you're by my side♫

You haven't eaten, have you?

I'll cook for you.

♫If I reach out, I can touch your face♫

You haven't been home for a long time.

I miss you.

Tell me when you come back next time.

I'll make you something delicious.

Have a couple of drinks with me later.

♫I returned to the yesterday♫

Our daughter is back.

Look at you.

♫I want to stay by your side, no matter how many years♫

She is a girl.

Why do you ask her to drink wine?

Our daughter

♫Freely and safely let time flow♫

rarely comes back.

Our family hasn't had

a meal together for a long time.

We'll just have a small drink.

♫Want to go through the bitter and sweet times with you♫

Just a sip, okay?

You yourself just want to drink.

Honey.

♫Forge on even without a poetic future♫

Honey.

The meal will be ready soon.

Just a moment.

♫I want to keep your footsteps and soften your time♫

Honey. Have some hot water.

The food will be ready soon.

♫Let the world spin with strength and persistence♫

♫Looking for the hardships and sweetness with you♫

♫Even without a poetic future, it's still a place with love♫

[2005, Linjiang Public Security Bureau]

To catch Liu Qing,

the undercover was already in place.

According to the clues he provided,

Lu Sheng, a foreigner,

will enter the country soon

and make a deal with Liu Qing.

But just now, Lu Sheng

was arrested by Interpol

when he tried to enter the border.

Our plan

to arrest Liu Qing

can't be carried out.

But I have a bold idea.

According to the information

provided by our undercover,

Lu Sheng and Liu Qing

don't know each other.

They suspect each other.

To protect themselves,

they don't know

each other's appearance.

Lu Sheng

has been arrested for only two hours.

Liu Qing doesn't know yet.

We can totally

do something

based on this information gap.

We can ask someone to pretend to be Lu Sheng

to trade with Liu Qing.

This is the best opportunity

to arrest Liu Qing.

It's too risky.

Even if we can use the information gap,

in such a short time,

how can we find

a suitable undercover?

Ask the Provincial Bureau for support.

How would we know if there are suitable candidates

in the entire provincial public security system

if we don't give it a try?

How about

I go?

More than ten years ago,

I once participated

in a Provincial Bureau's operation

to crack down on transnational counterfeit currency crimes.

I stayed abroad for more than three months.

I know well about the language

and life habits

of the local people.

At least no one in our bureau

is more familiar than me.

And look,

Lu Sheng's appearance and figure

look like mine.

It's just I'm a little fatter than him.

Most importantly,

I've been working in logistics for more than ten years.

I've never dealt with

Liu Qing's gang.

When I dress up,

no one will recognize me.

Zheng,

your wife

is still in the hospital.

Forget it

this time.

Sir.

Because my wife

is in the hospital now,

with the doctor's care,

I have no worries

at all.

Also,

I cooperated well with Dengyuan for many years.

There's a tacit understanding between us.

So,

please rest assured.

I promise to complete the task.

What?

Are you worried?

Actually, I'm worried too.

I'm worried about your disciple.

Enough.

Let go.

I'm leaving.

[The exit for city shuttle bus passengers]

Wish you prosperity.

Mr. Lu, sorry.

The situation is too tense.

It's risky outside. Let's keep a low profile.

Boss.

[Jin Ming]

All right.

Come on, Kai, stop.

Hurry and put it on for Mr. Lu.

Mr. Lu.

Mr. Lu.

Mr. Liu.

Don't call me Mr. Liu.

Call me Doctor Liu.

Okay, Doctor Liu.

Can I take your pulse?

Is there such a service?

We have many procedures.

Let's take our time.

Okay.

Come on.

The pulses of both hands need to be checked together

for accuracy.

You said you're Mr. Lu.

How can you prove that?

Right.

How can I prove

I am myself?

Hu.

They all say you have sharp eyes.

Today I want to see what you're capable of.

There are three banknotes here.

Only one is fake.

Help me find it.

Can I use my hand?

Which hand?

Whatever.

The first one

is the 1928 version.

The first-generation Federal Reserve Note

didn't use

12 English letters

to represent the Federal Reserve District.

Instead,

it uses 12 Arabic numerals.

This is known in our collecting world

as the digital version of the dollar.

The first one is genuine.

The second one

is the 1996 version.

It is commonly referred to as the "big head" version.

Both its front and back

feature very delicate lines.

Of course, this is also

the most common technology now.

The second one

is also genuine.

The third one.

The third one.

This third one...

Although the third one

has misprints, its 3D motion security

and the use of pearlescent ink

are both fine.

So the third one...

Is also genuine.

Your heart rate is steady.

Your vitality is strong.

And your pulse is stable.

You don't feel nervous at all.

Just your kidneys are a bit weak.

I'm embarrassed.

Hu.

Arrange the accommodation for Mr. Lu.

Treat him to a nice dinner tonight.

Thank you.

Doctor Liu,

when will we

start the deal?

Why are you in such a hurry?

Stay here for now.

Sure.

Mr. Lu.

A bowl of fried rice with beef.

Okay.

You asked me out so late.

There must be good news.

The victim is Qin Yong.

The test result shows

he kidnapped Chen Xueying.

At the entrance of Lijing Sauna,

I saw Lei Naiwu's man,

Chen Guangfa.

His appearance must not be a coincidence.

So kidnapping Chen Xueying

must have something to do with Lei Naiwu.

Thank you.

Who killed Qin Yong?

The culprit knew Qin Yong

was a suspect in the police's album.

He still took such a big risk

to kill him.

Why?

One more thing.

The bullet that killed Qin Yong

is the same

as that one found

at the scene of Zheng Ying's disappearance.

It has been sent to the Provincial Bureau

for testing.

That means

the owner of the gun we failed to find six years ago

has appeared again.

Does Dongyu know?

Yes.

Boss.

Bill, please.

The only breakthrough

is Lei Naiwu.

It's time to meet him.

He'll be here soon.

Master Wu.

Come, please.

Guys,

let me make introductions for you.

This is my big brother,

the legendary Master Wu.

Master Wu.

Master Wu.

Nice to meet you, Master Wu.

Have a seat.

Have a seat.

This is 20,000 yuan.

Master Wu, don’t think it’s too little.

All of us here

brought money with us.

Master Wu, look.

Good brother.

Fa, Fa, this is for Master Wu.

What are you searching for?

Can you find the money?

Bro, I have no money.

I don't care about this little money of yours.

How open-hearted!

Master Wu, you’re so open-hearted.

I have something to tell you.

Liu Qing.

Boss Liu.

Do you know him?

Yes.

I've heard of him.

The undercover who approached him,

the cop who was pretending to be

a Burmese,

was shot dead

with three shots

by Master Wu

without hesitation.

Impressive.

Today, Master Wu...

Forget about the past.

You are so low-profiled.

Do you know why Master Wu

came today?

He did it for my sake.

He also thought

about all of you.

He wants to lead us to work together

and create glory again.

Great! Great!

Come on.

Master Wu.

Do you remember me?

What are you doing, Bro?

Did you collude with the police

to betray Boss Liu?

Bullshit!

I had been loyal to Boss Liu.

I killed the undercover cop.

You did?

Yes.

And then?

What?

Where is he?

I buried him.

Where?

It was in the middle of nowhere,

how do I know the exact location?

Didn't the police notice you killed him?

Bro.

Can we not talk about this here?

It's okay.

He is my bro.

Let me introduce you.

Call him Hu.

Hu.

Hello, Hu.

Fa.

A bro is lying here.

Yes.

Hu.

Come on.

See?

Is he strong?

Yes.

This is my bro.

We've known each other

for about eight to nine years.

He's here to seek justice

for my boss.

He's so loyal.

Bro.

You must have suffered in these six years.

Who are you working for now?

I'm alone.

Come to me.

Look, I have so many men.

Fine.

Let's start a business together

in this city.

We will work together

to create more glory.

We will work together

to create more glory.

Come on.

Okay.

Come on.

Nonsense!

I'm loyal to Boss Liu.

I killed the undercover cop.

You did it?

Yes.

Where is he?

I buried him.

Where?

It was in the middle of nowhere.

How would I know the exact location?

Yang.

If you really don't want

to move in with us,

I

respect your opinion.

But there's a condition.

For weekends,

during festivals,

you must come and stay with us

because we are

family.

Hu.

We're back.

He just got a little drunk.

Don't worry.

Okay.

Bro.

Have some tea.

Bro.

Who's call?

It's not an outsider.

Hu asked if you were home.

Hu is so nice.

What you said

during dinner

touched me a lot.

You're so loyal.

Master Wu, have some water.

Don't trust him.

What?

Didn't you say you were brothers?

Fa.

As a gangster,

we can only speak part of the truth.

Don't expose all your thoughts.

He's too smart.

Even if you are more careful,

you can't beat him.

You know?

It's pretty.

I didn't know

you were so cruel.

I gave you the person you want.

When will you

give me what I want?

Where's the 500,000 yuan?

Do you think I'm a beggar?

Open the door.

Bro.

Thank you for

the start-up fund of 500,000.

I didn't mean anything else.

Do you know where I am now?

I'm at the place

where my boss started his business.

The Chinese medicine shop.

Liu Qing's lair?

Do you want to get rid of me

for 500,000?

Let me tell you.

The condition is the same.

I want the same amount

I told you before.

Here's a phrase for you to remember.

The King of Hell is easy to meet,

but the little ghosts are troublesome.

Don't think you'll be safe

since the King of Hell is dead.

I'm the little ghost.

I'm clinging to you!

You...

Dad.

If the leaves on the tree

get bitten by bugs,

spraying some pesticide

might solve the problem.

But if the root is rotten,

we have to pull it out.

If Lei Naiwu doesn't die,

our whole family will die.
