an integral part of life here

in the Dominican Republic,
25% of the land

and coastal shoreline
is protected.

And local conservationists

are also working to preserve
the country's marine life,

which our final four
will get to see up close

when they dive to the bottom
of the ocean and pick up a clue.

The final four teams
are now boarding a boat

off the coast
of the Dominican Republic

to the starting line of this
penultimate leg of the race.

ROD:

and racing for that last day

This is Sosúa Beach.

The shipwrecks and shallow reefs
just offshore here

make it the primary
diving destination

on the north side of the island.

In this Detour,
teams must properly assemble

four dive rigs
and then load them onto a boat.

Once the captain
gives them a thumbs up,

they'll help launch
the boat to get their next clue.

When it comes to cocktail names,

-rum has
inspired some real doozies.

KEOGHAN: This Detour requires
teams to remember all of them.

Here at the Diversity Bar,
where everyone is welcome,

teams must take drink orders
from six of these nine

spirited pirates and then
mix things up as bartenders.

If the pirates get
exactly what they've ordered,

it's bottoms up
when teams get a clue.

-Yeah.

RICKY:

with everything they've got
to avoid elimination.

It is now the last Pit Stop

before teams race
to the finish line.

The final four teams
have one last shot

at making it
into the final three,

winning The Amazing Race

and $1 million.

JUAN:
Riddles and, like, memory stuff
is, like, that's my thing.

in second place right now.

Maryland is the seventh,
just after Massachusetts.

JUAN:
You know,
we're behind right now.

We're in last place, but this
is really, really exciting.

It's honestly a privilege
to be able

to put the original
American flag together.

This is where we catch up.

Like, I was determined.

There was something

and it's that seemed
to be somewhat puzzlesque.

"If I can figure this out

with my head,

ROD:

JUAN: Oh. Okay.

SHANE: Once I read

I was like, "Oh, here we go.
Juan, you're up again, buddy."

-Okay. Okay.
-Look for
all these bottom pieces.

SHANE:
And then
we laid all the pieces out,

and Juan started going to work,
and-and we were rolling.

ROD:
Let's go, baby. Go in there.

SHANE: We are recreating
the Liberty Bell

out of this puzzle,

and just so happens
that Juan is good at puzzles.

As you can see,

JUAN:

I think that goes there. Yeah.

So the middle isn't...
is not hollowed out.

All the pieces need to be used,

and, uh,
there's definitely inner pieces.

So I hope that trips up
Rod and Leticia a little bit.

LETICIA:

"When you think you completed
it, hang it on the yoke

and ask the community leader
to check your work."

So it's kind of like Tetris.

RICKY:

to get to Glen Foerd estate.

So we're feeling pretty good.

We came on the race together,

we can say that it has taught us

on each other. Don't quit.

So I think that's been
the greatest thing for us.

Even though today
probably was our roughest leg,

-I had the most fun with him.

-We've definitely come
a long way since the first leg.

I had to put
that pride and ego aside

and just keep fighting
every leg, so,

I think we did a great job.

SHANE:
We do live on opposite sides
of the country.

And we are as inseparable
as you can possibly get.

Being able to go on here
and share, you know,

every waking moment
is probably not ideal,

but honestly,
I thought it was really fun.

So I think this is exactly
what we set out to do

and we accomplished it.

RICKY:
It just means so much to have

experienced this and to learn
so much about our relationship

and be able to take
what we've learned here

and apply it to real life.
