Now, if that's true
for ordinary people,

why isn't it true
for companies, too?

We cannot keep
blaming trial lawyers

and passing on our bad
risks to the consumer.

The public will not stand for it,
and frankly, why should they?

The consumer can no longer
be expected to pick up the tab

For our indifference to the facts
